I think when someone sees what they mean by hand assembly, if you've ever done anything vaguely like it, you'll understand why it's a slow process.  I know I wouldn't want to be doing it...  They also do a burn in of the unit to make sure it's functioning, which takes time that can't be avoided.

Doesn't it cost a trifling amount to have your board populated at an assembly house? Hire some fucking day laborers at have them screw on fans. I used to pick up ten laborers to help trim when I would harvest, and they'd get $200 and an ounce of weed if they wanted it. My shit got done in eight hours.

2.  is BFL a large corporation or a start up shop?

Neither...they are an unregistered entity, despite their claims of incorporation.

Read it again.   Yes, the R&D and first units are done.

Are you privy to some information that the rest of their customer base isn't? No one has one yet, except for Inaba, and one unit hardly proves anything. I could get you a single working FPGA for $10,000+ in preorder money that people claim to have lent them for four months.

You do know change is part of improving something right?

No, improvements are part of improving something, you fucking twat.

The worlds supply of tin foil must be rapidly depleting.

I'll believe it when they ship on order. How about that business license?

The fact is that until people get these in hand (2 weeks)

Ha

I deserve that!  Embarrassed

I couldn't help myself. I really am anxious to see these delivered, despite all my trolololling.

Well things aren't looking so good for that ship date. Especially considering their rep that was on these forums has disappeared.

I have a hunch that if they had good updates for us they would announce them.

We "trolled" them to death by asking legit related questions... They never bothered to start a new thread but bothered to pay Google to advertise their website in October...

I bet this was the $75 AdWords credit that people get with new web hosting packages.

...that they used despite 'not intending to go public until they were ready'.

I am still skeptical that anyone will receive anything.

Don't you just love that whole "OUR developer" thing? Just as if any of the socially awkward fan-boys who work on the ShortBusCoin are legit, educated programmers!

Wrong tootweasel, anyone involved in "development" (and by that we mean the completely incompetent and rather ham-fisted repackaging of other people's work with a few critically fucked up bugs added in, all released under an illegal copyright notice!) is an ass-clown just like their bitch-master. Oooh, your "developer"? Don't you mean the poor dumb bastard that you are currently ripping off code from and passing it off as your leet mad hakzor coding skillz? Those skillz make you, what was it again? Hundreds of imaginary dollars per hour? While living in your mom's rat-infested basement pleasuring yourself with lingerie ads? That kind of developer?

Listen, you have a whole cadre of believers (if two can be a cadre) on your own site. Why not hie your happy ass back there and have a group hug and tell yourselves conspiracy stories around the campfire about how aliens are real, tinfoil hats work, and ShortBusCoin is going to take over the world and allow you to implement your plan for world anarchy. Then Mommy can bring you all some warm milk and cookies and you can make shadow puppets with your secret decoder flashlights and marvel at how clever you are.

My Hero

LOL

That's the kind of post that could make you rich! Cheesy

Secondly, you seem to still be stuck on the "it's a scam!" bandwagon.   Even the hardcore trolls in here have given up on that one.

No, they haven't. It's still vapourware until a single unit is delivered.

Does anybody have any info on that company and the people behind? Doesn't the company have a publicly listed director? Why the secrecy about the last name (K)? I am a bit unfamiliar with the US system, but is there no company report available online?

I apologize if this was already covered in one of the previous threads on BFL, I only read this one.

Yeah it was covered but the threads are way to long and have been trolled to hard for any sane person to read. They claim to be a company but have not given any evidence to support this. They claim to have registered online in the state of Wyoming as a company but this can not be verified. Many of their claims like being Incorporated are just flat out lies.

So it doesn't really help that the registered agent resigned a few days ago and the RA status is now listed as 'Delinquent' at the Wyoming business registry?

I just don't want anyone to forget this gem...

If you were talking to goat, who hadn't really you must have mistakenly quoted me. Then goat came in and mocked you for your moderatory (yeah, I made a word...wanna fight about it?) impotence. If only the posts hadn't all been deleted by someone. Anyone wishing to see the remaining schwag, pg. 48.

running in a freezer.

1 BTC to the first person to produce a FPGA farm running in a freezer.

1 BTC to the first person to produce pictures of their BFL Single with screenshots of it running.

1BTC to the mod that moved this thread to off-topic. Wait, thats me! Everyone give me 1BTC! Wink

If I recall correctly, you were going to ban me for 'trolling' a hundred and thirty pages into this thread. No dice.

Diablo had to move this to off topic because he was going to get banned for trolling/being off topic. Many of his posts got deleted.  :/

However since its a speculation thread being in off-topic is fine with me. Kept the BFL support trolls from bitching.

Nope, I didn't post in this thread at all. I really don't give a damn about BFL either way.

You must have some memory problems. You really don't recall threatening to ban me and goat telling you to suck his big black cock?

Do you run with an open case? They are designed for flow-through, and popping off the cover tends to just make them spin their wheels in place, so to speak. None of the heated air is being blown away from the source, merely blown around it without any real venting. My boxes run cooler when closed and with properly oriented fans, meaning all the same direction...some drawing air in, others forcing it out, but all in line with one another.

I edited my config file with the amendments to the EULA, but was never able to get my MSI 6870s to underclock below 575.

$700 for a glorified mutt!? Dog breeders are the scum of the earth. There are already limitless numbers of dogs in need of rescue without a bunch of trailer trash making more of them. My purebred australian cattle dog was saved from a puppy mill and I got her from the rescue group for the grand total of....seventy dollars for her vaccinations and spaying.
