Yeah I agree with you but don't be surprised if Liverpool finish 4th before the end of the season because I believe they're going to have this crazy upset and that alone will make them drop points. I don't see Klopp winning any trophy this season.

On what basis are you making this call exactly?
Just because he announced that he is going to leave the club by the end of the season doesn't mean Klopp is going to forfeit his ambition for the club. Whatever is happening behind the scenes is for his own happiness. If he and the club agreed to live, he will leave and I'm sure it is going to be on good terms and will be celebrated and honored. As for the team position, unless if something that is above his power come up, I still believe he is going to honor that club with all he has to win  a trophy for them this season.

Quote
The Manchester City you talked about is really trying to put things together and if Pep eventually leave the side I don't see them dominating the EPL. KDB who was absent worried the play of the squad and Haaland was not even in the mix so I think teams that would dominate the EPL from next season will be Man City, Arsenal, Aston Villa, maybe Chelsea (depending on where they finish this season) and I might add Bournemouth (they're cooking something big for next season), is not going to be only Manchester City, I don't even see Liverpool to be that strong next campaign.

7 years is not bad I think, he has been with the club since 2016 but I think there is nothing of such with him in that club, his contract is set to expire by 2025 which means he has these season and another full one before he decide his next phase of life but don't you think he  should rest, apart from the money involved, that guy has done well for his career. Was in Barcelona and win everything with Messi assist, even Bayern too.

Good day guys, how is the gambling industry helping you this period?

However I just want to say that in the game world gamblers are always there to bet and the important thing here is when a gambler can not risk he also can not win, true or false?
Many might still believe that a gamblers who's just gambling at the first day might end up winning w huge amount of money that he wasn't expecting but the truth is that as long as you stake on bet you have already risk your money, be it big or small.

No pain no gain right? But do it moderately and gamble with the amount you can afford to lose so you don't start chasing losses or worry about your Bankroll. This is what many of us don't get, important money like school fees, money for health, money loan to you, money you are meant to hold for someone, money for emergency should be avoided into gambling because you will like loss those money than for you to gain on them and you will likely run after for help.

In some situations, you might even have to run for another help to pay back the initial money you have used for gambling, don't be surprised if the thought of using it to get back to the one you lost will set in and funny enough, you might end up losing everything. That was what one guy did last year December and took his own life after the debt was too big for him to pay back. Gamble is risk but risk what you can afford to lose, risk money that will not affect you financial and psychologically.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 30, 2024, 05:20:50 PM
Senegal defeat was unfortunate against Ivory Coast but it is penalties after all, hazardous.. Egypt also lost their match after being unlucky in penalties.
These teams although being better theoretically, couldn't win their games because they weren't able to score more than 1 goal in 90 minutes..
Until now I see only Nigeria as the best and classical team going to Quarter-final. Guinea and Ivory Coast aren't that bad too and might be annoying for the super eagles

If you are opportune to score a goal and have a lead against a team in a knockout stage, your target should be able to to add more goals if the there are enough time and if the time is some minutes away, your defending should be stronger but moderately and careful than your attack but Senegal were full of themselves and foul a player which gave Ivory coast a penalty goal and they were smart to maintain that to the penalty despite the extra added time.

I'm more worried about Morocco, those guys can take out South Africa without going for war, there is not arguments about that and if they manage to beat South Africa, those guys will qualify to Semi final and nothing is going to stop them unless South Africa remove them or they lose in the Quarter Final against Cape Verde.

Modric is one experienced player in Real Madrid and he has in himself enough dedication to help the team's growth and advancement. He's the oldest payer in the team currently and he's spent so many years with different minds working together and he's made a huge impact to the team being a part of most of their successes.

12 years to be loyal to a club is crazy, maybe the Balon D'or he got is among the reason why he still respect the club and doesn't want to leave yet but if I'm him, I will also want to stay. Real Madrid is club that break boundaries, win trophies regardless of difficult the opponent are, the consistency is just crazy, perhaps is because how fast Real Madrid are good in having young players in their club. I think if he still want to stay and he is fit, I see no reason why the club would say otherwise unless there are some issues that we don't know yet.

Quote
His contract will expire by the end of the season and he's got just two options, to remain with the team or to move out of European football. No doubt both options are good but a better option for me would him moving out of Europe to the Saudi league. There he'd be able to accumulate his finances too and even impact the league in his own way. Saudi will so be eager to welcome him and for Real Madrid, of course they'd miss him but it'll give them room to nurture younger players.Modric is definitely a good asset to every team as he delivers well in his position without fault.

As a human, we all have priority. The fact that he was offer millions last season and he decided to stick with a year contract with Real Madrid means he really want to stay. The year contract might be to test him if he is going to improve than the last season and I have seen that because Real Madrid performance last season was bad, if that's what the club is watching, they should issue him another three years and let him retire when after the contract expired.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 30, 2024, 05:02:52 PM
Al Hilal is better than Inter Miami. The results of this match allowed many football observers to assess the impact of many big players who have played in European leagues.
Mitrovic's 4-3 victory against the Bekcham club can be used as a good sign that the Saudi Pro League team is not a team to be underestimated, even if it is only a friendly match.
Players like Messi, Suarez, Busquet and Jordi Alba were no longer good when they were younger than their current age.

Anything to tarnish Messi will make you sleep well right! Undecided
How is Al Hilal are better than Inter Miami, just because of a goal difference, did you even watch that match and see how Messi was making that match entertaining and fun for everyone to watch? That's why it was called a friendly match, it is to entertain people what Footfall is all about and not to kick someone's leg or injure anyone, the match was soft and sweet. Inter Miami weren't even doing much, it was Al Hilal that were trying to prove string hold since they are the host.

Friendlies matches for me are pure trash, no way i see one, its a complete nonsense, and more when is full for show like this one, where a company put ton of money to bring a "funny" to a exotic part of the world, or to broadcast a magic game who never gonna happen in real life.

You should have check bookmakers just before the match, you will understand more better that even them are aware of how friendly matches are, the odds were crazy high and they were just set up just to get money from people. I will also say that of all the friendly match I have watch this leg of the seasons, this is the one I enjoyed the most, even Al Hilal welcome Messi with their two arms, don't know how Al Nasr fans will react to seeing Messi Grin
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: January 29, 2024, 09:43:32 PM
Women by nature are more conservative than men. They are better manager of resources and know how to prioritise things. This is what is needed for successful gambling because with it, the chances of using funds meant for basic needs in gambling will be minimised.

So do you think women will make better gamblers than men?

When did gender is now a factor to win gambling? I'm even sure what you mean by managing resources, maybe you are talking from mother perspective been carrying and knows how to take care of things but this is gambling we are talking here, you win or lose and it doesn't care about your emotions or how you feel after. You can become a millionaire overnight from gambling and you can become homeless as a gambler if you fail to understand what you are doing which is gambling responsibly whether you are a male or female.

Regarding management, it's a thing. You can be a man and be damn good in any management and be woman and be very great in managing resources. We have a lot of women that are very bad in management and we also have men that are bad as well.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 29, 2024, 09:25:45 PM
I see that Barcelona is not as bad as Manchester United, they only lost badly in the last 2 matches (losing 4-2 to Bilbao and losing 5-3 to Villareal), I am sure of Xavi even though he is currently confused about what other strategy he should use to boost the squad's performance.
still remember a few seasons ago when Barcelona was in a crisis, Xavi came as a savior, well, of course xavi will be able to return barcelona's performance to its original place, however barcelona has good players, it would be a shame if barcelona followed in the footsteps of manchester united.

Xavi isn't confused. He knows exactly what he said and he is going to regret it. Didn't you see many times he said Barcelona is only happy when you win, they don't entertain losses. He must have face a lot of critiques and query got not doing better right now in the club, don't you think it's saner to have a peace of mind than work where they give you high blood pressure just because they want you to make them happy, these men are human beings and has feelings too even if they asked for this job.

Barcelona is now a complicated club that struggle financial and yet they want a first class treatment, not a bad idea but you can't push Xavi to the wall and you don't expect him not to react. I'm sure that if he finished the season among top club, they will get another caoch that will lead this time to the Champions League. That's how Chelsea lost Tuchel and till today, the club has been useless with noting to show for two years now.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 29, 2024, 09:16:18 PM
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

There are somethings you should never do out of emotions and gambling is one of them. I know the connection with money, profits and losses but if you want to survive gambling, the way you expect profit is the same way you should expect loss so you don't get disappointed when your expectations doesn't satisfy you. It's even stupid to want to use emotion to double your money to offset your losses, that's like chasing money lost.

Quote
I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.

I'm not sure if there is any gambler that has went through this rabbit hole of loss, try this and was successful. Fi you loss money gambling, be cool and act as if you have never loss anything so that your brain can be smooth in making accurate games and wagered an amount you can afford to lose. This money you can afford to lose is very important to avoid any further regret that will affect your days and weeks.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 29, 2024, 08:08:21 PM
Personally, I don't like the word Gambler tbh. And it feels more worse when someone calls someone a Gambler in the local language. I played some hands it's true and I tested many games for test purposes But I was never affected by the gamble. and I consider I am not a gambler myself. Somehow I do not feel good or something does not fit with me by this word.

What do you think about yourself and how do you want to define the word Gambler?

Gambler is just a traditional word for people that risk money on probability, it's an old world that has since birth modern gambling but visually, when people see gambler as a wayward person, more like an irresponsible person who is addicted to gambling and that's why even here, you will hardly see people use it here, they can call you with the casino name or the gambling platform name you use most often. Like here in Nigeria, they use Sporty bets a lot and you will hear them say I do sporty bets.

I don't see anything bad if they call me a gambler and I don't expect people to also pick offense when I do the same because it's should be a normal thing. Gambling has been in existence for long and will continue to be because of the new games that are invented and trends as well. If gambling is what you do with time, you should be proud of it except if you are the type that is addicted person and fear of been profile as the regular gambler.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 years old kids alone at home for hours, while the father goes gambling on: January 29, 2024, 06:10:01 PM
The urge this man felt to gamble was so high, that he didn't even measure the consequences of leaving two 2 years old kids at home alone to gamble at a local casino for 5 hours straightforward. Imagine the state of mind of this man to give more value to his gambling session than to the lives of his two young kids who could need him anytime.

The kind of news I read online makes me question some parents paternity towards their children. I will be scared to live a toddler to use the restroom while leaving him alone in the parlor but this man has the guts to even leave his to go try some luck, not one but two babies?  Undecided This is wrong and I commend the police for arresting him. If later in the future the wife divorce him I'm very sure that the court will never give him the custody of the children with such a shameful behavior.

Quote
Luckly there was an attentive neighboor to call the police, otherwise the dangerous dog or any other potential threat on the streets could have severely harmed those kids.

To think that this happened in the United state where there are many online casino that he can do all he want on the phone while giving attention to the children. Don't be surprised that after wasting 5 hours in that casino shop, he never won anything. This is addiction even if the casino gives bonus to wager or some kind of incentive to make you come back, he made a terrible choice here.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 28, 2024, 10:24:00 PM
Manchester United is in a bad situation with Ten Hag and he can't have a good performance in Manchester United while we're in the winter and some coaches ae losing their jobs, I think there are many interesting options for Manchester United to fill the place of Ten Hag and that's why I guess if Manchester United wants to get Ten Hag fired from the team now is the good time for it to find a new a coach.

If there is anything I hate so much About Erik Ten, it must be too much principle he enforce on players. Today match between Manchester United and  Newport, he was asked why was Rashford  not available and he answered that he had an internal issues and he is going to deal with it later. I don't think that issue was something that has to do with funds. It will be another problem between him and that boy, if it was contract then it will be between his agents and the club and not the manager and I don't think Rashford has intentions about new contracts in mind.

These is what he do and feel like a king after these crappie performance and then think he co-owned Manchester United, I will be please if after the season and he is giving some break to go try another club. Enough of the damages and poor performance for his 2 years deal and that's when Ronaldo prophecy will manifest on the board for the dead hears they all turned too in the last few months in that club.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 28, 2024, 10:12:43 PM
No one will be able to turn Barcelona into the greatest team of this decade if their financial condition does not improve. The team needs a lot of new players with qualities above the current average player, clearly this is a basic need to make Barcelona a top competitor in La Liga and also in Europe.

There is something called a honest mistake and that is what defenders and goalkeeper did yesterday, it wasn't intentional and it will be unethical for them as as a professional footballers to give excuses on the mistake came about and that's what Xavi don't have power over, he can only tell the players what to do but he can't do much when they make mistakes and he can't just replace players when they all make mistakes, it will destabilize the game they have started, sometimes as a coach I feel we live them with no choice but to accept all fault that is actually not there fault.

Quote
Xavi has tried his best and given his best for his team, but the depth of the squad, which is relatively young and inexperienced, makes it difficult for Barcelona to achieve its best performance. They played well when building attacks, but their finishing was often problematic. The transition from attack to defense was also problematic, this was because the defenders and goalkeeper performed poorly. This should not be entirely Xavi's fault, but the player also needs to take responsibility for his poor performance.

It's better for Xavi for leave Barcelona for his mental health. He said that in Barcelona, you expect to win and continue to win because the club has a standard and that is what they want to protect and the fan base acre very toxic, a small mistake they will insult the living out of you and because he value his health over everything he want to quit after the end of.the season and I want them respect it, you don't want a person to work for you and want to put him in a position that will mentally destroy him, the era of Messi Barcelona with Xavi will never happen to a Barcelona again, take it or live it.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 28, 2024, 06:20:30 PM
Being addicted to gambling can be a thorn in the flesh. We have heard many bad behavior from gambling addicts that shows that gambling is a serious concern requiring serious efforts at curbing it. Many casinos also include in their disclaimer "gamble responsibly" and this shows the danger of gambling addiction.

However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.

Whether you are addicted to gambling or not, there is nothing cool about losing of money generally for everyone but I think as a gambling person, you should accept the faith of your wager even before you click "bet" on the money you deposited into a casino because you are not sure of what will come if you gamble the money. So I think vexing on people because you lost money to gambling is childish and unprofessional because nobody sent you in the first place and you know the risk involved, you should be even ashame for trying to fight other people because you lost money.

This pattern of gambling behavior is not about only domestic violence, I have seen a nigga vexing on another close nigga because he lost money on some games, not once not twice but the worst of it is domestic violence on your partner, that look silly and if the man is from a high profile countries where laws are protected, he will be arrested and thrown in the prison for hitting his partner. He will do be better in prison than beating his partner that has nothing to do with his losses.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do exchanges work? on: January 25, 2024, 08:33:56 PM
My question is why is the rate higher on one exchange than on another?

That's because they are two different exchange and due to low or average demand going on that trade. It is the same thing when there is a demand on a coin, one tend to go up faster than the other especially on the one that has the highest volume but the price difference are just slightly different. If the price difference is very high, that's when you see traders doing arbitrage trading. Traders will start buying from an exchange that is lower in price to sell in the one that has high price and the demand on the lower will adjust itself to meet the other one.

It's a common thing you see on centralized exchanges, you hardly see it on decentralized exchanges and that's because they use chainlink data feed so as to get the accurate price for a coin and because it's a decentralized data, it's hard for people to temper with it or even manipulate it.
375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much knowledge is enough to satisfy an individual on: January 25, 2024, 05:44:30 PM
Research has it that no man is satisfied with what he has . I also went further to check the profile of most prominent men that have existed and also existing and I realised that most of them have enough money yet the are still searching for more , they have power and yet they are still fighting to get more power ,they have assets yet they are still buying more properties, and I ask again when will they be satisfied?.

Additionally, I have seen so many academia , professors , yet they are still fighting for more knowledge, and the question here is when will they be satisfied?.

Do you know billions amount of money that government pour into researches? Check your country and you will be amaze by the funding government is spending on research, it varies from nuclear research, academic research, space research and many more where government are spending billions for researches.

Now, everyone want that pay cut to come to their account, so everyone is easier for new knowledge and how they can contribute to their country, not only for money sake for the people that values names and reputation, some people want to see their names written in big fornts for the world to remember, this is why you see research papers everyday both private researches and public researchs that are visible for the public.

Quote
Even in this forum I have also seen high ranked members who are staff and with thousands of posts and merits yet they also post every day hoping to be merited as well , and the question again here Is when will they be satisfied?.

Finally , I have also seen my friends bitcoin wallet with so many coins in dollars yet they buy bitcoin every day , trade everyday , HODL coins everyday , so the question here is when will they be satisfied?
However, I will be very glad if someone can highlight more on this and educate me more thanks .

Everything about the world are improving everyday and if you don't join the race, you will be forgotten quickly. This is why you see in all areas of life, there is improvement everyday with new and new updates to make life better. Even Bitcoin has something we called "Bitcoin improvement Proposal" where new improvement are been suggested for Bitcoin everyday, so not only forum members get new knowledge, even bitcoin get updates and these new ideas need to be study so it can be interpreted for everyone to understand, this is why we need more research and do more everyday.
376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: January 25, 2024, 05:32:39 PM
Greetings everyone!

I really want to know if merit is necessary in other to secure my account, my friend who introduced this site to me said, I must have merit

Please how do I get this merit and how is it important.

When your friend introduced you to this forum, what was your purpose  and what did he tell you is the forum all about? This is very important to know whether you need merit here or not.

As a newbie, merit is just a way of your contribution to post, you get rewarded or typically when someone like your post, they give you merit for that and the more merit you get with more activity, the more you rank up from Newbie, to Member, Full Member, Senior Member, Hero Member and then Legendary which is the last rank here with merit requirements of +-1000 merits.

The forum has a market place where trading is going on, if you want to engage in trading here it's not merit that you need but a reputation, you can see that your trust score is 0/0/0, if you get a green +1, it shows that you are been trusted with a positive feedback and more people will trade with you and if you been distrusted with negative feedback -1 and with that on your account, people will avoid having trade with you.

So, you choose why you are here and stick with it to the end, if you have both merit and positive feedback, it increases your reputation in the Forum and more people will want to deal anything with you as long as you have it.
377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding privacy and security on: January 24, 2024, 06:03:17 PM
While some individuals get the actual view of privacy and security others have a misconception about it,

Others don't really have the misconception about security and privacy, they ok my lack the understanding to why they needed it most, in so doing they show being less concerned about them, it's called a careless attitude.

You can't speak for all, less than 3% of the world I last learned only hold Bitcoin and even with that number, few know about security but don't even know how to keep privacy to a maximum because even the way you use a wallet address in making transaction has a way of its own privacy which need to protect, don't say there is no misconception because plenty of people don't know privacy not to even mention of people that use centralized exchanges almost all their life and they don't see anything bad in using them because they are meant to enjoy until there is gas light in the end.

Some people think security is about backing up seed phrase and making sure that their private keys shouldn't be exposed but don't even know anything about wallet surveillance, they don't know how to make use of inputs and out and out to keep change to protect privacy, even the type of wallet and the nodes they connect to and this is because achieving privacy and security is something you learn every day using bitcoin. Some people like me don't even understand about privacy until I start to learn about bitcoin, learning is a continuous process.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the export of goods related to manufacturing capabilities or resources? on: January 24, 2024, 05:45:04 PM
150 years of exporting between countries began in 1870, when the beginnings of exporting from the United Kingdom began in the 1800s, and from that time countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, China, and Japan topped the lists of exporting countries. Is export capacity related to manufacturing capabilities or to resources available in those countries?

It depends on the country you are talking about. You see the countries that top the list of exportation all had nothing but were smart enough to exchange what they didn't have in their countries in the 1800s and today, they have the capacity to have manufacturing structures and also have available resources. If you remember, it was when slavery ended in around the 1850s that exportation increased between these countries and the era of industrialization increased in these modern countries.

Check the countries that have the resources today, they still don't have the manufacturing capabilities especially African countries where these resources are in aboundant. It is painful but you can't fault nature for not making some people to think ahead of others, isn't it funny that a country has crude oil but doesn't have a refinery? not a single one but they have these resources that are been export to where there is manufacturing structures and then they sell back the products to the same place where these resources are in abundant.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Passion for skills. on: January 24, 2024, 05:30:42 PM
Hey people.

So just for fun and a little bit of insights for people who aren't into any skills yet, I created this thread. It can also serve as a means of motivation for those who haven't started learning any skills yet.

So, we all know how important skills are not only on an individual basis but also on that of the economy, and many of us without doubt are either in the process of learning or already earning from skills. Needless to say, many global brands started as a result of skills learned and used to benefit people. The creators of Adidas,  puma, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and even sports professionals, etc all learned and practiced their skills more than enough to become the best of the best.

So, my question is very simple. What skills are you currently learning or have learned and are earning from, and what is the reason why you picked it?

I'm good at writing and I know about photography but because of my limited time, I don't have time to stress these skills. Why I pick interest in writing is that it is a skill that will remain relevant from now to next decades and if you are good, you will be needed in all areas but one of the disadvantages of this is that you need to have a vast knowledge on different axes of life, be it tech, economy, crypto, medical, anything you can think of, as a writer you need to have a broad and general knowledge to be able to deliver a good and understanding content for your readers.

As for photography, I learnt that when I was in school and I must say that I had a lot of friends and customers then but when I changed location, everything changed and at a point it was interesting like when I was in school but maybe it was because of the challenges of trying to see more to life, trying new things and new environment but if there is any skill I will still love to do, I will go with a photography because I see people paying some hundreds of dollars in school to get the certificate whern you can do it by yourself and I forget to say that it's very lucrative if you are a good styler.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education and why it should be a priority. on: January 24, 2024, 04:58:13 PM
Financial education is a skill that is not been taught in schools, but to me it's the most important subject a man must learn in other to be financially independent.

In the history of finance, I'm not sure if in the forbe documents a lecturer or a teacher has ever become a billionaire before and that's because the teachers are too theoretical when it comes to finance. They spend their life teaching how to do this and how to do that without having the time to test run what they teach and will they possibly teach that in school? They don't have the experience so they can't teach you what financial education is all about but they can advice and gives you some hints about life lesson and how to use them in the future.

Quote
This knowledge gives you smart money making decisions, and it improves your standards of living, It gives you priceless money management skill, you can't spend more than what you earn as a financial literate.
I still don't know why it's not been taught in schools up till now.
The  rich dad poor dad by Robert kiyosaki explain all what it entails and the stability it gives financially.

You need to understand that some people are meant to make smart decision but going forward, they have people that work for them and manage their resources. Let's use Mark Zuckerberg for example, he was smart to build something like Facebook app, he dropped out of school and people invested into his app and today, it has grown more than what anyone can imagine. Now, check the circle of his friends, he didn't do that alone, there could be group of people that are behind what he is today and people managing his finance.

Check even Robert Kiyosaki and how these men got wealth, the stories aren't rossy the way they present it but then it's good to always encourage young ones on their journey to wealth but definitely, not the way we do think about it in reality. This is what they don't tell you too but this doesn't justify in any way why financial education aren't thought in school.
