361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is rising faster and faster, It is time to Buy Bitcoin ! on: March 01, 2024, 08:25:32 AM
Bitcoin price is rising faster and faster, It is time to Buy Bitcoin now before it is too late !

Is bitcoin price going to be above the $100 K end of the next 6 months ?

If it does, its mean it will cross  $150K by 25 December 2024.

It's time to decrease your allocation bro if your using DCA its such a risky move to buy bitcoin now that we are well in the noman's land and expecting a new ATH soon, if you buy now you might well get caught up in the bear if it suddenly comes and just imagine the loss on your portfolio buying at the top, I'm not saying we are at the top yet or it's too late to buy bitcoin what I mean is that it's better to invest very little cash unless you have back up funds to buy back if the price suddenly drops to even out your average buying.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL bitcoins, you can do it! Look at HODL camp map to build up strong hands on: March 01, 2024, 08:14:51 AM
there are nothing in crypto that brings better and best than Bitcoin lol .

I know and happened to see this currency for more than 7 years now and Indeed that HODLING  have been the perfect way to treat not only because its ranking number 1 but because this is the safest.
Let's say in short term, some altcoins can give altcoin enthusiasts very high ROIs, much higher (so better) than Bitcoin but it only last some weeks, months or up to two years. When a bear market comes, they lose 90% to 99% of their ATH price and it's when they are no longer better than Bitcoin.

Zoom out, in long term, Bitcoin is the best in ROI and the safest too, no roll back, no death.

Quote
I will never have any better investing than Bitcoin (not in bank and not in real estate) but bitcoin.
ROIs show that fact

Bitcoin is a more stable and preferred asset to invest in, the idea of altcoins is all about initial gains and they are not reliable to hold cause it's so risky that we could lose our funds to them, most altcoins that experience a price crash never get up from it, but bitcoin has experience several and bounced back, showing that it's a better asset to invest in.

The bull run has come and I'm seeing a lot of person's that  just started investing talking about selling and I wonder why, are there all about the gains too or the compound omg value which happens to be more with every year, taking profits is not bad but when you end up taking too much and you risk yourself by putting yourself in a situation where you cant buy back at same price or even lower, bitcoin is an ever moving asset and it's best you sit on the bus and wait for your destination and it doesn't have to be a short term journey. Advice to newbies

I have seen a few post lately about low liquidity in Bitcoin even as price continues to rise. Could this low liquidity be as a result of more people willing to HODL now as captured by thus thread? In other words, could it be that the campaign I'm this thread is actually making real impact in the market? I know we might think that we are little investors discussing here but the truth is that the forum is home to most of the big players in the market, they come here for information even without anyone noticing who is who.

It's not this thread, but it is over the years more and more people had been taking their coins off of exchanges, including a lot of the fear from the various scammers from 2022, such as Terra Luna, Blockfi, Celsius, 3AC, Voyager, FTX and Genesis.. .. So those kinds of scams cause more and more people to take their coins into self-custody, and so when there is so much demand for more and more BTC, the BTC are not available... including that if the various ETFs buy the coins, they are not allowed to recirculate them, they are supposed to stay in their custody, so that causes additional upward pressures on BTC prices..because of the less liquidity.. of course, if the price goes up, then some folks will move their coins onto exchanges to sell them, but I am kind of thinking that we are going to need 2x to 3x price increases from here to incentivize some folks to want to sell some of their coins, and that still might not be enough coins to address the liquidity problem that currently continues to exist.

Yeah I can see a lot of demand pressure increasing since many holders are getting smart to be self custodians.

Most person's won't even sell till they see bitcoin at 100k, like all over the media I just see everyone talking about it.

I think this bull run came with a lot of fuel to shock the world with an outstanding ATH, we are all speculating the best what else can we do.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Weekly Net Outflow of Bitcoin from Exchanges Has Been Increasing on: March 01, 2024, 08:08:48 AM
I'll always say this, most person's investing in bitcoin now is because of the profits it offers they care less about what store of value it gives or any other empowerment about privacy and decentralization, many and most of them are already used to or are benefactors of the tradition banking system and government centralization so it's no problem to them to continue in that way.

Inflation has nothing to do with the reason people buy bitcoin, who wants to actually miss out on his share of the pie of this bull run, since the bitcoin ETF approval more traditional investors are pumping money in, some are here cause of the idea of owning bitcoin for the longer term idea of when it would be more expensive for the average man to buy and most are for their bags to be filled with profits, when the bear comes let's see how many of them would still be very interested. That's why you need not to sell all your holding's to gain profits just like them you should be more concerned about accumulating bitcoin so that you would also have a big share in bitcoin when it becomes more expensive than this.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hold in patience, nothing can stop the raging bull when it comes on: March 01, 2024, 08:02:14 AM
What I recommend doing is for us to allocate a percentage of our earnings to savings that we can bounce back to in case we encounter emergencies in the future, and this savings are not to solve just any problem but only emergency and that's why we label them emergency funds.
Emergency funds should always be kept separate.

Bitcoin buying and selling should be kept within the monthly income amount allocation but should be flexible to increase during bear runs and held back during the bull runs. The basic strategy is to buy during the drop and for that you have to be patient and wait till it happens, but then not falter while its dropping but buy and then stop to see what happens next. If it continues to drop, buy again and then at one point just sit tight wait for it to correct.

At present seeing the bull trend upward, I hope people are selling to consolidate profits and soon going to stop making any trades till the turn back happens.

Yeah for someone using DCA being flexible around your investment isnt a hard thing all you have to is set your buy oders to be higher during the bear and lower during the bull, that is to have lower buying average cumulatively, the idea of profits on bitcoin is how much did you buy and how much is it worth now.

I think bitcoin is still in it's investment stage as an asset, it still offers that opportunity but with years to come when owning up to a bitcoin would be up to 1 million dollars or higher, you won't even want to sell your holding to make any profits cause the chart would be moving slowly like gold right now, the idea here is to own as many bitcoin vas possible with your disposable funds so that at the end of like 10 years you might have accumulated up to 20 bitcoin for yourself and that's when the real profits comes in.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: How can it be possible coping with one source of income on: February 29, 2024, 11:32:25 PM
It's not a matter of how many income streams you have but how much coming in from them, I can have one income stream and it well exceeds your five income streams. The problem lies around the value of fait depreciating and it make living cost more expensive.

Getting an extra source of income would require more time to attend to, do it's better to have one income stream that is big than having do many income streams that are few.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 29, 2024, 11:15:32 PM
I had a friend who use to play the gambling only when he consumed drugs,Sometimes he use yo win the money. But most of the time he loss the funds, when we have a chat on the weekend we shared our experiences. The reason of the loss in the drug consumption is the gambler will play the game without any hesitation to take risk. The gambling is the risky game, the gamblers who take huge risk some times make the huge multiple of betting dollars. But the risk doesn’t make him win, because the meaning of the risk is the possibility of losing and winning.Every month we meet each other, the odds between us is gambling.

My friend also added when he had huge winning in the night games without drugs,he had an habit of playing the gambling at the earning morning after wake up.It doesn’t mean an addiction,it was his dedication towards the game. But the sad part is he will loss sometimes if he wake up in the few hours sleep. When he had shared this I had advice him not to do the gambling in both in drugs or early morning games.Because we should not play the game at the early morning, because we are beginning the day.If the game give the loss in the early morning, the entire day will goes in a negative vibe. The new gamblers should take it as the lesson to avoid loss in gambling.
First of all I don't think it's possible to avoid risks In gambling, because that's what gambling is about, risk and rewards
And I honestly think your friend could actually be addicted
Because if regardless of his physically and mental condition he would still take to gambling then it means the urge is too strong to ignore
Imagine thinking of something even under the influence of drugs
Every new gambler or anyone contemplating gambling should be aware that losses are unavoidable you can only hope to reduce the risks and bet on seemingly safer options
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $68,742.31 on: February 29, 2024, 11:08:01 PM
The bull run is actually going on a faster lace than expected, most folks where speculating 60k after the halving and it has already come to us so quickly.

The next price I am speculating is 70k , but I'm actually having this feeling that we might well exceed 100k bitcoin price this year and maybe up to 150k or maybe around that price range.

Bitcoin demand is getting higher as the day goes on and more investors are rushing in, maybe from seeing the price spiking upwards .
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is buying like me on: February 29, 2024, 11:01:57 PM
Approval of ETF has not played a major role in the price movement of Bitcoin and people were expecting much more fromt he ETF approval, regardless let's digest the fact that ETF don't have much affect on Bitcoin but yeah I have started DCA for a while now and that's the only thing which I would be following until the upcoming bull run, doing this only for Bitcoin as don't want to risk the funds with Altcoins at the moment.

We can't actually know what triggerd the upward movement of bitcoin but we are sure that bitcoin has become more in high demand and it could be form the recent news about the halving or it could also be from the etf, but what is most important is if you are well prepared for it , the only way you can be really prepared for up is to have quite the bitcoins in stash, and only those that have well invested in bitcoin would make profits from this bull run, the tittle of this post is who is buying like me and not what is causing the bull run.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 29, 2024, 10:47:00 PM
Even though they only scored 1 goal, the point is that at least Lazio has more capital than Bayern Munich in the second leg. But unfortunately, it will be held at Bayern Munich Stadium. So this is quite advantageous for Bayern over Lazio, right.

Well, I also think Bayern have learned enough from their mistakes yesterday and they won't just let this match go. Even though they are currently behind on aggregate, for some reason I am still quite confident that in the second leg, Bayern can turn things around to be superior. This is not their first time to be in this such situation.
You are right that Bayern Munich often surprises in the Champions League when they turn things around for that I'm pretty sure they will do it again. Even though Lazio has the capital to win in the first leg, by visiting Bayern munich headquarters, of course they will have a lot of pressure in the match. Bayern munich certainly has quite a lot of experience in the Champions League and in the second leg they will play better in their search for victory.

From Tuchel performance in the Champions League, he has a good record, but I hope he can do it again with Bayern munich this season. Has many quality players in the team and also a striker who is quite productive in scoring goals so what Tuchel has to do is set a better strategy for their progress in the second leg. I predict that maybe Bayern munich can score 2 goals or more in the second leg.
Am very certain Bayern would win the second leg, with even more than just 2 goals and I would endeavor to place a bet and hope to cash out, really.
Their reputation in the champions league precedes them and that's why am very confident in their win.

As for the match between PSG and Real Sociodad on same night, I would like to bet on PSG too, as their opponent has had it worse this season in their domestic league and even lost the first leg match without a single recorded goal.
Why don't you apply the same logic for the both fixtures
I understand that as football fans there is a bias we have towards some teams
But if we consider your basis for the results of the real soceidad fixture then bayern should lose the second leg because like you said
They've had it tough in the league recently and also weren't able to get a goal in the first leg
Honestly I don't expect much from this bayern munich side
My honest opinion
370  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: February 29, 2024, 10:34:56 PM
It hasn't really been easy for me to keep up with the 100  push ups everyday. The first day I started, I woke up in the morning with several aches all over my body. I was having pains on my muscles all over. I suffered this because for long I haven't been exercising my body. My body is reacting to the new activities, I couldn't complete 100 push up since my first trial. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing same thing.

Cheesy literally being there. Waking up some ache on over your body , or try laughing when feeling such pains. But still you feeling such oain shows that the pushups is really showing effect on your body as time goes and you keep hitting it your body would only get used it but you will also see a great changes in your body (getting fit) . As bitcoin is experiencing some pump lately so do I in my pushups. Because the joy seeing my portfolio increasing is enough to make keep hitting the pushups till bitcoin hit $100k.

The pain is part of the building process and it's nothing to worry about, feeling that pain is a sign that it's actually working, I'm also feeling pain in my deltoid and my chest muscles from this morning workout,  It was fun I challenged my friends to it, we did a lot of excerise from early in the morning starting by 6 which we did jogging and then followed by sit ups and then we did the hardest push ups, we actually did different sets with different kind of push ups, I went for the diamond first since it helps pump out the muscles, then the wide arm push ups, it was stressful but I still managed to hit my target of 70 push ups before I got fully exhausted.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 29, 2024, 09:09:25 PM
People neglect this fact of time wasted can not be recovered and missing the chances of buying from the DIP, may only amount to purchasing in a much higher price.
well, in this context  of buying the DIP,  Thier is nothing much about time wasted. Whatever time you decide to buy is actually a good time as long you're willing to wait long enough.

The world of Bitcoin, buying the dip is like catching a wave in the vast ocean of opportunity. Time isn't wasted; it's woven into the fabric of your journey. Whether you plunge in during a market frenzy or calmly wait for the perfect moment, each decision is a stroke of your own unique canvas. Like a patient gardener tending to seeds, your investment takes root, unfurling its potential over time. The magic lies not in the ticking clock but in your unwavering belief and willingness to nurture your investment until it blooms into something magnificent. So, in the grand symphony of Bitcoin, the timing matters less than the melody of your steadfast resolve.

Now at $62k and sooner $100k, Bitcoin may seem like a distant celestial body, its brilliance tempting yet its distance daunting. But as you embark on your journey, fueled by patience and foresight, you recognize the boundless potential that lies ahead. With each passing orbit, Bitcoin's gravitational pull strengthens, drawing in more cosmic travelers and propelling its value ever higher.

Mate what are your even pointing at, you didn't have to make it so obvious your using AI to craft your response, I get your new here but you should try to learn and understand what we are talking about in this discussion than to use AI to create post.

The thread is all about buying the dip and holding of bitcoin, we talk about the different strategies that we use in accumulating bitcoin and we have settled that DCA the dollar cost averaging is the best strategy. Since your new here you might want to understand how it works, it involves splitting your capital into equal parts and buying at intervals, this could also come from your income where you just have to allocate a little percentage of your disposable income to buying bitcoin weekly or monthly however you okay with and we have finalized that a 25 -20 minimum is a good start to invest in bitcoin and this could even be as little as 10$ or up to 1000$ depending on your income.

We are all for the hold and the plan is to hold as long as 4 years on a minimum for our first stage , this stage is all about accumulating bitcoin, in this stage we avoid all kinds of withdrawal or trading practices that involves buying and selling our bitcoin, this has a negative effect on  us cause things can go wrong and we find ourselves losing if the volatile market hits us.

Now to hold effectively we must make sure to build our emergency funds in case emergency happens that can make us sell our bitcoin earlier than we planned to, the emergency funds has to be up to 3 months or 6bmonths of savings and should measure at least to your total investment in bitcoin or lesser.
Then we have the reserves that we use for special cases like buying on dips and any opportunity that comes our way, to make the best of our money, and floats which are our spendables which could be our expense money and it could be used to buy bitcoin only if you can find a way to chunck down your expense.

It's not rocket science all you had to do was read and ask questions and you would have no need using AI to generate response when you would have tried to learn something first.
372  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next higher bitcoin price on: February 29, 2024, 03:30:40 PM
The price we should be expecting now is something above our last ATH, Bitcoin just broke into 64k a while ago before dropping a little back down to 60k, the bull run is having more energy than expected especially before the halving which we least expected and more investors are rushing in every day, the demand for bitcoins even still on the rise cause many investors don't want to miss on this bull run profits, Bitcoin is currently the most scarce asset in the world and Im expecting a break into 70k on the first week of march besides we are very close to it or even higher.
373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitForex halts withdrawals, stops responding to users after $56.M was moved on: February 29, 2024, 03:11:53 PM
Is Bitforex quite popular? because I have never even heard of BitForex previously, and I have known some not so popular centralized exchange like Bitmex and Mercatox. And I just tried to open it without VPN, and the site is banned by my provider (not blocked by cloudfare because I was redirected to the provider block sites). My provider only block porn and/or malicious sites, related to fraud or scam so BitForex might have been flagged and considered dangerous for a while. Sometimes I glad that my ISP block those kind of site, but it also annoying because it also block many other neutral sites like Reddit.

At times isp block could block many neutral sites but I guess it's based on your settings.

I've never heard of bitforex before and I wonder why people still store their asset in offline exchanges , I guess this person's are under educated about how to keep their assets secure, if you stay long enough in this space news like this never fade cause many people don't know about the empowerment of Bitcoin and how you can have total control over your asset and properly secure it. Online exchanges are target for scammers and the risk involved with you losing your asset any day is tok high, they can freeze your asset and you won't say anything about it. I guess the idea of Bitcoin was decentralization but people prefer centralization so much that they don't want to get any knowledge to know how to do things fro themselves.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which project/token brings you the most profit? on: February 29, 2024, 02:51:41 PM
I'm new to investing in crypto currency, and my choice lies with Bitcoin not just because it's a pioneer but also because it has good potential, I started investing in Bitcoin almost 7 months now when we were still in the bear, I was a little inconsistent in my early days until I started posting on this forum and found a lot of old investors with good stories and advice to share, I found a thread that discussed all about buying and holding Bitcoin and it helped me to get on my feet and also found out a lot of things that I didn't know, I started using DCA to buy consistently on a weekly basis and a little lump sum to take advantage of big dips and I wasn't even sure that the bull run would come this quickly to give me profits on my new investment, I plan on holding a while longer till 150k Bitcoin price then I'll be triple or 4 times my investment, but nonetheless I'm still buying.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: February 29, 2024, 02:35:50 PM
There isn't any need to sell your altcoins to invest in Bitcoin cause it's price is getting high, we are certain that the bull run would touch some altcoins what you should be bothered about is if you've invested in the right project or not. The reason behind this bull run having so much pressure on Bitcoin is because of the recent interest of investors in Bitcoin since the last ETF approval and also new of the halving coming.

Sometimes the altcoin bull run actually sets in a little after the Bitcoin bull run, I was never expecting the wave to hit the altcoin market so soon and we are still very early in the bull and it's the right time to keep buying so instead of selling buy more or rather invest in Bitcoin now,it's not too late.
376  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is really the future of Nigeria on: February 29, 2024, 05:31:00 AM
My fear about Nigeria
Nigeria has been a country of promising dream and a better future to it's young citizens but with the look of things it seems like time is revealing the actual fate for Nigerians, the dream people had when they were much younger only to grow up and realize that the system does not allow dreams come through .
Just some days back I had a dream about Nigeria and in my dream I saw people running up and down and protested left, right and center and I came to discover that they were protesting against the government and the government ordered that they be shot directly at and that was how people were dieing in their numbers and it became a serious issue that led the country to a very devastated state  with the way things are going in this country it's looking like there is no hope for the country on a daily basis
The solution to all this lies in democracy for as long as we can not have democracy there can never be good gorvernance the system in the Nigerian politics needs a total reformation to make it work
What posible solutions do u think Nigeria needs to be a better place please give your thoughts
Haha what a hilarious dream, guess your just reviewing the end sars protest, Nigeria situation is a product of bad government and greedy leaders that are totally interested in enriching and saving themselves while leaving the poor masses to suffer.

Nigeria might never be fixed but it could be managed, all we need is one good president and is fine many great countries was as a result of good leaders, if Nigeria gets better leader, it would be okay.
377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The best way to fight insecurity in our society on: February 29, 2024, 05:26:06 AM
How can social amenities stop insecurities in the nation, this is as a result of crime and greed and other person selfish interest, yeah we are sure that the government has a hand in bringing to them up due to their inability to fulfill their promises, man in our nature would be selfish when it comes to survival and the government is well putting everyone in that state that they have to be to survive the economy, many citizen can't leave abouve average spending almost all or all on food and shelter not enough to have a life and some are already frustrated and as a result would do the uglies to survive.
378  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you handle borrowers? on: February 29, 2024, 05:19:26 AM
It takes those that have the interest of others in need on their mind that can make provision for the service of being a lender, as we know, not all the borrowers can be liable for repayment, but the way we handles them has a lot to do with if we can be able to recover our money back from them or not, that is why many lenders make use of collateral before issuing out a loan, borrowers will not mind begging when they needed your help, but after they have benefited from such, it becomes so hard and very difficult for them to be ale to maintain or keep to promise.

Lending is not a business of doing good and it must be done in a stric way that would garantee that your money would be returned back to you or whatever you are borrowing, borrowing without taking collateral is like playing sports without safety kits, keep your personal feeling out of it and tell them you need a collateral or you give what you can afford to lose, so you don't end up spending money on the police to arrest the person or using strict means to get your money back.
379  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: February 29, 2024, 05:05:37 AM
Boss! While I'm so little nevertheless want of share some idea. There are several reasons why someone might cheer for Bitcoin's price to reach $100k or higher of their current holdings. If Future Investment someone hasn't accumulated a large amount of Bitcoin yet, they may still have plans to invest more in the future. A higher price could signify potential for future gains, encouraging them to invest more or start DCA.Fear of missing out psychology often plays a significant role in financial markets. Seeing Bitcoin's price rise to new heights can create a fear of missing out on potential profits, motivating individuals to get involved or increase their holdings. Many of the people view Bitcoin as a valuable asset with the potential for significant returns. A higher price could present opportunities for trading or investment strategies, regardless of one's current holdings. Some individuals may support Bitcoin price appreciation due to its potential to disrupt traditional financial systems promote financial inclusion and empower individuals in economies with unstable currencies.
while its true that those who have already "HOLD" a substantial amount of Bitcoin may have more immediate financial incentives to cheer for its price to rise there are plenty of reasons why individual with varying levels of accumulation might also be excited about Bitcoin reaching new price milestones.

Bro take trading out of this we are not talking about trading on this thread, trading is gambling the fuck away with your holding's, we are here for the long term holding and we are doing push ups till the price of bitcoin reaches 100k

Regarding your point about push-ups ONLY being for the already big accumulators.. you make a bit of a point that people who have not accumulated a lot of BTC might not be as excited about the BTC price going up... so there is a bit of a presumption that anyone cheering for $100k would have or should have already accumulated a decent bag of BTC prior to cheering for UPpity

To me it's not true even tho I know that this upward movement is actually my worst case senerio but you always said have a plan and the only way to prepare for upward movement was to in a way increase my allocation s and some time ago when the price was at 45k I did some extra lump sum on my investment, so I think anyone who isn't cheering for the 100k doesn't necessarily have to be those that are not big holders but those that did not prepare for up and maybe felt okay with their preparation and now that they can see the bull run speeding fast they feel under prepared and can't cheer any further.

Mind you I am not promoting that anyone should over allocate or invest more than you should that is out of your disposable cash or reserves, and I think front running in a way a purpose of reserves but you should be careful cause it could back fire at you if from here the price starts falling back, which is also a possibility just has a slimer chance of happening.

As for me I'm already at 70 push ups daily, I guess I'll remain there untill bitcoin hits 70k or higher then I'll increase my push up difficulty again, just trying to have fun around my excerise
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready for the Bitcoin bull market? What's your plan? Some ideas for you on: February 29, 2024, 04:01:56 AM
Personally, I think that selling BTC in more incrementalist ways is better

This pattern of selling is good cause it doesn't have much effect on the size or amounts of bitcoin you already have and it's built to only take profits when there is a doubling or tripling of bitcoin price that way I'll only be selling off 10% of my profits and I'll still have enough value of bitcoin untouched and still on hold.

But I think like you said it's not really necessary for newbie investors like me to be thinking in terms of withdrawal cause we should be in our accumulation stage where we are trying to build up our bitcoin stash and thinking in such terms may begin to look like a gamble cause we are not well prepared for price drops and our stash is not big enough to withstand big price drops, so it would be better that early investors here forget about withdrawal and focus more on trying to build their bitcoin stash for up to 4 years.
