I did the 100 push-ups this morning, and I must confess it was not easy to achieve because today is the first time I'm hitting 100 push-ups, but I have to accept the pain to complete the 100 push-ups. I used the strategy of 5 sets of 20 reps to achieve it, and I will stick with it because the strategy makes me achieve it fast. I will try my best to keep up doing the 100 push-ups a day to see how my body will look when bitcoin reaches $100k.
Brother I really understand what you are saying, but you need to understand that it's quite normal that at the beginning of everything in this life, their are always difficulties from the start, if you can maintain it day in day out, then I believe that your body will just get used to it at some point.

Yep.. it is quite likely that any of us who are still alive and a living organism will likely get stronger and be able to do more and more, as long as we do not injure ourselves and/or if we don't have other health conditions that cause us to not be able to exert ourselves in certain kinds of ways.. .. but I think that even a very frail person should be able to so the modified push up such as leaning against a wall or something like that, and maybe they can only do 5-10 in the beginning.. but they can work their way up.

I guess its never too late for me as well in joining for the hundred push ups, maybe i will get more fitness in other to be able to accommodate the coming bitcoin all time high when am well fitted for it, the market is more getting interesting with its performance and we need to have enough preparation in receiving all its coming along with this next bullrun.
Yes, it is not too late to join the 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is $100k. Even though you do it for a month and bitcoin reaches $100k, you will gain some change in your body that you will be happy with. You may want to keep on with the push-ups even though the bitcoin price is more than $100k because you know how healthy it is to exercise.

You're right. It's never to late to choose a healthier life style. It will give you so much positivity back so I can assure you that you won't stop just because Bitcoin reach $100.000.

This challenge is actually for people who have bought and hodl Bitcoin for a long time so I don't see any reason why someone that didn't accumulate Bitcoin will take part in the challenge because someone who have a good amount of Bitcoin would take this challenge seriously unlike someone who doesn't accumulate at all.

The recent growth that Bitcoin is gaining so far is convincible that we're going towards a notable milestone in our Bitcoin journey, I have hodl some Bitcoin but I'm so unlucky to have a spinal injury which wouldn't allow me to take this challenge with you all but whatever be the case i wish you all that are taking path of the challenge good luck and good health to live and witness a new dimension in your Bitcoin investment as we are anticipating the bull run after the halving.

Let's go people!  They don't call them push ups for no reason.  Keep up the pressure, and on that last rep take it nice and slow.
current Personal report:
Pushups Printed:    1700
Proof of Pushups:   1205
Net Pushups:        -495
Previous debt:      -500
A smaller negative!  Or would smaller, be more negative?  A fewer amount of pushups behind to be sure.

That tells me that you are over 100 per day... so surely you are making progress, and yeah, don't push beyond more than you can do or recover from because it continues to be difficult, especially if you are continuing to increase the amounts.. and yeah, if you are doing 105 push ups per day, ti is still going to take you 99 days to bring down a 495 push up debt...

I hate to brag, but right now, I have a 115 average with 24 days and 2,760 pushups.. so yeah I have a 360 pushup surplus.. .. and I am not quite sure if I am done with pushups for today, .. maybe one more set.. maybe not.. I will see how I feel.. since I already did 4 sets for today, and I have had a couple of days with 5 sets.. but the 5th set is currently the max and surely optional since I already have 140 push-ups for today.. and my previous max per day is 155 pushups.. so I am increasing the quantity. and maybe a little bit the quality too.. but I am a quantity kind of guy... at least at this point in my push-up practices.....

still getting used to it..

I cannot recall having a daily body resistance training so consistently like this.. even though I have had other kinds of daily exercising routines. but I am thinking that my previous daily exercises were more cardio-oriented...like running, walking or maybe some other cardio-like substitutes.. so this particular kind of body resistance training is a bit different.. and maybe I am trying to get the pushups to start to feel so easy that they start to feel like cardio?  perhaps? perhaps?.. ..

they still hurt, though.. so there is that... but there are certain parts of my body that are hurting less.. and the lingering all day pain seems to be getting to be a bit less, too.. although there are some levels of soreness.. . One thing that has gone away was that I was getting a lot of pain in my core while I was doing the pushups, like the feeling of a budding hernia.. but then in recent days, that particular pain has not been present.

[edited out]

Yeah,.. it is like the BTC price is moving too fast, but I am expecting at least a certain amount of resistance between here (currently $62,415 $62,599 as I type) and $100k, and I question how much time we are going to spend in no-man's land.. which I consider to be $55k to $82k.. so getting through no man's land could theoretically be easy.. but still it seems quite fantastical to consider $100k prior to the halvening, for example, even though it is seeming much more likely to reach $100k now than it seemed to have had been in October when Adam Back had made that bet about $100k before the halvening.

If you have a spinal injury, then don't you still have to do exercises?  Maybe you could substitute body squats or some other exercise that might be suitable to your condition.. .unless you are paralyzed... and of course, it would not be good to do some exercise to make you vulnerable to injury or re-injury.

Regarding your point about push-ups ONLY being for the already big accumulators.. you make a bit of a point that people who have not accumulated a lot of BTC might not be as excited about the BTC price going up... so there is a bit of a presumption that anyone cheering for $100k would have or should have already accumulated a decent bag of BTC prior to cheering for UPpity.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Boss! While I'm so little nevertheless want of share some idea. There are several reasons why someone might cheer for Bitcoin's price to reach $100k or higher of their current holdings. If Future Investment someone hasn't accumulated a large amount of Bitcoin yet, they may still have plans to invest more in the future. A higher price could signify potential for future gains, encouraging them to invest more or start DCA.Fear of missing out psychology often plays a significant role in financial markets. Seeing Bitcoin's price rise to new heights can create a fear of missing out on potential profits, motivating individuals to get involved or increase their holdings. Many of the people view Bitcoin as a valuable asset with the potential for significant returns. A higher price could present opportunities for trading or investment strategies, regardless of one's current holdings. Some individuals may support Bitcoin price appreciation due to its potential to disrupt traditional financial systems promote financial inclusion and empower individuals in economies with unstable currencies.
while its true that those who have already "HOLD" a substantial amount of Bitcoin may have more immediate financial incentives to cheer for its price to rise there are plenty of reasons why individual with varying levels of accumulation might also be excited about Bitcoin reaching new price milestones.

Bro take trading out of this we are not talking about trading on this thread, trading is gambling the fuck away with your holding's, we are here for the long term holding and we are doing push ups till the price of bitcoin reaches 100k

Regarding your point about push-ups ONLY being for the already big accumulators.. you make a bit of a point that people who have not accumulated a lot of BTC might not be as excited about the BTC price going up... so there is a bit of a presumption that anyone cheering for $100k would have or should have already accumulated a decent bag of BTC prior to cheering for UPpity

To me it's not true even tho I know that this upward movement is actually my worst case senerio but you always said have a plan and the only way to prepare for upward movement was to in a way increase my allocation s and some time ago when the price was at 45k I did some extra lump sum on my investment, so I think anyone who isn't cheering for the 100k doesn't necessarily have to be those that are not big holders but those that did not prepare for up and maybe felt okay with their preparation and now that they can see the bull run speeding fast they feel under prepared and can't cheer any further.

Mind you I am not promoting that anyone should over allocate or invest more than you should that is out of your disposable cash or reserves, and I think front running in a way a purpose of reserves but you should be careful cause it could back fire at you if from here the price starts falling back, which is also a possibility just has a slimer chance of happening.

As for me I'm already at 70 push ups daily, I guess I'll remain there untill bitcoin hits 70k or higher then I'll increase my push up difficulty again, just trying to have fun around my excerise

It seems like, I missed the train.
But yeah, I'll might try doing that and of course I should be able to do it too. Even though my body strength is currently weakening, and it's possible I can only do push up 5x in a day, but I have to try before the price of bitcoin reaches 100K. The good news is, the price of bitcoin is moving quite quickly, I can't wait to get a healthy body.

Sounds interesting.

I think 10 sets of 10 is most efficient, or maybe 5 sets of 20 if you can handle it. Maybe you guys can split the workload across 2 or 3 hours. Let's say 2 hours and 10 sets: then you'll have 120/10 = 12 minute breaks in between each set. If you do 5 sets the break extends to 24 minutes which allows you more recovery time.

It definitely looks doable, the only question is, whether you are diligent enough to do it.

You haven't missed the train.  We aren't even a month in yet.  I'm sitting at 2,725 pushups on the month at the moment and will hit 2,800 by day's end.  Sure, you're a little late to the party, but there's still plenty of punch in the bowl.  Put those hands to the floor and get pushing!

It is certainly doable.  I started doing 5 sets of 20 and have gone to 4 sets of 25 which has gotten to be pretty easy.  I may start doing 3 sets of 33 in the near future.  I'd like to be at 2 sets of 50 by the halving and hitting 100 push-ups at once (without killing myself) by the time this challenge is over.

Cheesy literally being there. Waking up some ache on over your body , or try laughing when feeling such pains. But still you feeling such oain shows that the pushups is really showing effect on your body as time goes and you keep hitting it your body would only get used it but you will also see a great changes in your body (getting fit) . As bitcoin is experiencing some pump lately so do I in my pushups. Because the joy seeing my portfolio increasing is enough to make keep hitting the pushups till bitcoin hit $100k.

that same method am actually using breaking it into sets because every bod got their own limit. And I know I haven't gotten to the limit of hitting 100 pushups ones so I break into steps. Most time i hit 20 per set .

The pain is part of the building process and it's nothing to worry about, feeling that pain is a sign that it's actually working, I'm also feeling pain in my deltoid and my chest muscles from this morning workout,  It was fun I challenged my friends to it, we did a lot of excerise from early in the morning starting by 6 which we did jogging and then followed by sit ups and then we did the hardest push ups, we actually did different sets with different kind of push ups, I went for the diamond first since it helps pump out the muscles, then the wide arm push ups, it was stressful but I still managed to hit my target of 70 push ups before I got fully exhausted.

Exercising with friends and love ones actually fun, it would be more competitive. Trying to hit the highest pushups or the one with the with the best stamina shit like that. 70 that pretty good now I see why you are exhausted,  well the fun part is that we building our portfolio and our body too. Before I hitting the sack think I would do some extra pushups to warm up.

It hasn't really been easy for me to keep up with the 100  push ups everyday. The first day I started, I woke up in the morning with several aches all over my body. I was having pains on my muscles all over. I suffered this because for long I haven't been exercising my body. My body is reacting to the new activities, I couldn't complete 100 push up since my first trial. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing same thing.

Cheesy literally being there. Waking up some ache on over your body , or try laughing when feeling such pains. But still you feeling such oain shows that the pushups is really showing effect on your body as time goes and you keep hitting it your body would only get used it but you will also see a great changes in your body (getting fit) . You had your fun excersing with your friends, make sure you take some pain killers to feel relive faster although it's unecessary to take it cause it would subside on its own, I'm quite used to the pain that comes with excerise myself cause I've been into it for a while now.

Well who have seen that the price of bitcoin has exceeded 60k, it seems our push ups has been working and the bitcoin price is pumping in correspondence to it.

It's so much fun to do excerise and remember that the bitcoin is moving upwards.

Those are some awesome numbers!  You are rockin' it.
I try to be a quality guy and take the last rep nice and slow, which usually limits me to 10.  But the past few days, the first set has been 20, with some 15s sprinkled throughout the day.  Progress.  At the end there it sounds like you maybe could take a day off, and let the body recover?  Don't let me lead you astray though! Smiley
I am averaging 76 for 19 days for 1435 pushups total, probably done for the day.

Preach!

I have gotten through 25 days of pushups, and personally, I would suggest trying to spread them out through the whole day, especially if you are not in good push up shape... because it hurts a lot for some of us and we can get very tired or injure ourselves if not careful.  But yeah, if you are in good enough shape, or young enough, you may be able to adapt to doing all your pushups in 2-3 hours.

Another thing is that sometimes you might not feel sore right away, but the soreness might linger, too.. .or there might be joint soreness or soreness of certain areas of the body and even overall tiredness from the exertion of doing something like 100 pushups every single day when you might not have had been used anything close to that level of exertion for years and years and years.

This is exactly what I am talking about, and sometimes we might not have had realized that we over did it.

We might have to do modified pushups or do fewer or spread them out throughout the day and build up to 100 in a day, or whatever might be our goal.

We should not even feel bad if we might have to reduce our quantity or the way that we do them, since we should be careful not to injure ourselves or to psychologically lose the battle.

I can pretty consistently do 30 or 35 in a set right now, but I try to do as many as I feel like doing, and in the beginning I had a lot of sets that were 15, 20 and 25.. .. but many of the times, I am able to do 30 or 35 and the most that I did so far are a few sets of 40... so I am thinking that it might still take me a while be fore I can get up to a set of 50, and surely 45 comes before 50.... so we will see how much longer it takes to get to 45 and/or 50... but I am thinking it is possible, even though there were a few times that I thought that I might be able to do more than 40, but when I start to get between 35 and 40, I start to lose my form, so I decide to keep it at 40 and I don't want to go further unless I am pretty positive that I can do another 5 or 10 with decently good form...

I am not trying to do perfect form, just what I consider to be straight and pretty much full-body all the way down and all the way up.. even though I do tend to do them quickly, which is making the quantity to be easier than if I were to do them slowly.. that would suck and take a way my morale.. even though I might try to slow them down at some point later down the road.... it is nice to get them out of the way .. so maybe it takes me 40 to 45 seconds to do 40 pushups, and if i slowed down it would take a minute to do 40 pushups and that would probably be better form.

[edited out]

Yeah.  There were several days in the beginning that I did not want to do the pushups and I wanted to take a break, and even now, there are sometimes that I don't want to do them, but they are getting a bit easier - even though I frequently try to get quantity rather than quality... ..... but every once in a while I will do a few slow ones, and I know that they are much more difficult, so if all of them were slow, I probably would cut my quantity down 30% or so.. and I would not want that.

By the way, I consider that I am competing with myself, and not any outside standard of perfection, so some of the main things that I want to see are my own personal improvements, and I think that it was @7juju who mentioned something about how he looks in the mirror, and I know that I am looking better and even feeling way more definition and I can even independently move my pectoral muscles so easily and with a kind of show-off ability that I had not really been able to do, and the same is true with flexing my biceps or my triceps, there truly is a quite a bit of definition forming.

At the same time, there are aspects of my looking in the mirror in which I do not see very much change, and so there is desire to keep this going 1-2 months more should start to really start to show progress, and yeah, if the BTC price shot up to $100k, I probably am not going to want to stop until I feel like I passed a certain point of further improvements in the visuals.  I want to salivate a bit over myself.. .. which is a kind of larger goal and I had not really realized that pushups were going to be so effective, and they were right here under my ability to do them for so many years before this challenge and I was doing more cardio instead of pushups and I think that these pushups are better, and yeah maybe I will go back to doing both.. but I am liking the effects of these...even though I do continue to feel tired and sore from them.

Yeah I love the idea of spreading it out through out the day for anyone that can't do it at once, besides it's meant to be a fun excerise than to get ourselves overly worked out or injured in the process of doing more than we can.

Modifying it is the best idea, I'm currently mixing it up with sit ups and I'm just relaxing on doing 70 push ups until I have build the muscle for more pushups.

If you find out that you are becoming too sore when it is time to perform your push up then is ok to have some days  rest, I just want you to remember that you can actually make some gains of energy and strength form your recovery so you need to have some rest and probably  you might be hitting more than 100 push up per day surprisingly at your recovery.

This is a win win situation , becoming more healthy and yes showing my trust to Bitcoin that I have been having for many years now.
I think I will start with 20 in the morning and will try adding more before going to sleep (because have not been push upping for years now)
have seen so many participants now and yes I will update here for how much i could carry till Bitcoin hit 100k(that seems to be happening soon than expected).

It has been quite a while that I visited this party, I have been so ill lately that i couldn't keep up with a daily 100 pushups and I haven't updated you guys how far I've gone. Anyways I'm still sitting around a 1210 push-ups right now, i had to split it to different days and time as I said earlier in my post but I made it a bit close to expectation even with the illness.

Lately with the run of the bull, I'm not in doubt of reach a 100k in less than few more weeks and I believe by then y'all that kept on with a daily 100 pushups will be hitting close to a 5k push-ups or even more. The turnout of the bull run reaching a 63kish price as at when last I check, I love the movement and it turns out to be an increase for my love of Bitcoin.

Cheers to y'all keeping the challenge. much love guys

Actually I understand the point you are trying to make, but I believe that the purpose of this pushups is to get fit and healthy, so to me, I don't bye the idea of spreading it throughout the day, because you can't get the desired result of the pushups doing it that way, because in exercise, their is a saying that say; No pain, no gain.

So the more you do it, the more pains you will feel and the more fitter you will become, so if you really want to get fit doing it till Bitcoin rise to 100k, then i suggest you try your possible best if you can be doing it till you get to your limit, it must not necessarily be 100, buy let it get to a reasonable figure that takes you to your limit, so 70 is quite ok if that's your limit.
