They have just repaired some loans and borrowed loan again. but if this loan is to be used in stabilizing the economy or used to sort out our local issues that's already on ground and not for meaningful project that will give us greater returns in the long run, then this borrowing is damn unnecessary.

If I can remember very well, during Jonathan time, people complained about terrorism (Boko Haram) and corruption most, but the economy was good. Nigeria emerged as the largest economy during his time and GDP grew significantly at the time..
Buhari became the president and closed the land borders. Inflation started. The borders are still close and inflation continued. This time is not really different than unstable economy. Increase in supply is important at times which can lower the price of goods.
The United States which has the largest economy in the world even import than export.
Exporting is good as it will increase GDP, but Buhari and Tinubu government look for ways Nigeria are going to produce more things locally but our GDP is decreasing. Sometimes, it is easy to explain in theory, but in real life it can be different.
I'm a strong advocate of reopening our land borders, first for easy importations and exportation of goods and services. In terms of food production our productivity as a nation has not matched the population in this country, so if there is a window whereby neighboring countries can easily bring in their goods into the country and sell it at the cheaper rate, it will help the economy because it will drive down scarcity and create room for more availability. Well, for me, if I saw a good price movement of bitcoin, then I would sell my holdings, some of my holdings, because I dont want to sell all, but its not like I will hold those bitcoins for the next halving or until 2028; there might something happen before that. In short, I'm not sure if I will still hold my bitcoins until 2028; many, I'm sure, will also sell their holdings after halving if the price of bitcoin somehow reaches $100k or near that, and I'm one of them. I'm content with the $100k worth of price and will not regret selling some of my holdings as the reward is too much and very satisfying.
Now the thing is, what will really happen after this halving? I can't wait to see what might happen—will the price be in the dump or will it set another ATH this year? I hope it happens.
Of course if after holding for sometime and you feel the price is good enough for you, you can sell too, that's if you cannot hold till the next halving. However you can also test your patience to hold your bitcoin till 2028 because it's doable, so don't see it as something you cannot do, you can actually strategize your holding plan. A lot of people are expecting another ATH, so we might actually be looking at that direction after the halving, let's just say $100k. |

I have come to understand within my little knowledge on this forum no matter which ever method used in investing in btc it's more profitable than investing it on shiltcoin, there is no reason one wasting it time in anything shiltcoin when BTC has made a way to accommodate all sort of people and their level of income, through the DCA method you must not start big but with time you will accumulate greater BTC and this will give rest of mind instead of using because of cheap nature of shiltcoin and run after and comparing at the end it fall you lose all your time, energy and money,were as BTC remain unshakable the best is going for BTC and avoid comparison.

The the Russia - Ukraine war is one war that the global economy is on what I will call the borderline of recovery from and here is another conflict in the Middle East region somewhat a major supplier of energy to the world. if this conflict should escalate with other major countries (which I chose not to mention) getting involved the global economy might be hit with worse recession than we are currently facing.

Well seems like if Liverpool fails today and West Ham also fail we are not gonna have any english team in the semifinals of europe tournaments (i dont count conference is low level) i dont know when was the last time this happen.
Liverpool is to be the better team in this matchup and should have proved to everyone that they are the better team from the first leg of the match but they failed to prove it and also made a lot of people to lose trust in them after been beaten by Atalanta with three goals to none. I know some of them joined the industry at the time when social media monetization wasn't popular and might not have gotten the financial benefit this current Nollywood stars have now through social media but I still know that they had money during their prime and that if they had probably invested the money into some major things, by now, they wouldn't get to a point where to get money for proper treatment would be a major problem.
What do you think is the possible cause of the mysterious sickness that always surrounds the death of most of our Nollywood stars? Do you think the industry isn't fetching them alot of money as the average outsider imagin? If they invested their wealth into something tangeable, would they necessarily beg before undergoing major medical treatment?
You you check very well it is the male actors that are the major victims of money begging for treatments in the Nollywood. This simply suggest that they were not properly paid back then. Possibly the females were much favoured by other things because of their delicate mature. You see most of these actors back then didn't go into acting career because of money. Some when to the career because it was their passion. So money basically wasn't their drives. So whatever they paid them was okay for them. And our economy was working then so it was enough for them. I agree with you, it's the male counterpart that are major victims that are always in a difficult situation. The ladies always have some other incentives that do favour them, unlike the men. This goes to as well tell us that they are not paid handsomely during their active years, I remember when one of the nollywood legends was complaining that, at some point in the peek of his career, he was paid 30 thousand Naira. Yeah money wasn't their drive at those days, it was majorly the passion they had to put smile in people's faces. |

Because as we speak this weekend, people are going to still spray more money and the EFCC cannot get to them at once, however this has been a cultural that has entered into the fabrics of Nigerians, so it is something EFCC will use the carrot and the stick approach to resolve overtime and not overnight. |

In my own opinion, I think Tuchel should be held responsible for everything that has gone wrong with this Bayern Munich side, I don't think they were as bad as this before he took over as coach, he failed to take responsibility as a coach by winning the players to himself and getting their full loyalty, at least that's what every smart coach would do when given such opportunity. On the other hand, Tuchel came and introduced an entirely different kind of tactics which these Bayern Munich players ain't used to and have refused to get used to, this and many more are responsible for the decline Bayern Munich have experienced both in the German bundesliga and other completions. |

I just felt that Barcelona would fall short against PSG since, in the first leg, they were caught off guard, and I know that PSG won't do it again. Therefore, I had complete faith in PSG yesterday, and they delivered in fact, Mbappe's performance altered. I was amazed, and I'm sure that guy is talented. and really committed, therefore whatever we do for dictation matters greatly. And the record affected the performance of of Barcelona yesterday
Even without the red card they would have won because psg was ready. Arsenal is ready to take on bayern Munich. Let's see if Arsenal will be able to win Bayern Munich. If Arsenal does not win this second league then Arsenal does not deserve to be on any of this leagues.
There was nothing special about the PSG side last night or Mbappé nor dembele, it was was just a case of luck and the inability of the centre referee to handle a game of this magnitude thereby reducing the morale of the home side by dolling out cards as if he was gifting candies to little children, until Barcelona were reduced to ten men they were playing very and even took the lead before psg got the equaliser, besides the referee wouldnt even listen to any of the plea from the home side but would rather respond to them with either a yellow card or sending the coaches off the sidelines. In summary, I think the performance of the referee was too poor and below standards and has influenced the outcome of the result. |
