This usually happens when your pc is infected with RAT (remote administration tool). Check bleepingcomputer.com and download the top 10 tools to check your computer, today malware can be also encrypted and invisible to your antivirus.

363  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Methods of getting free electricity on: March 16, 2015, 11:38:55 PM
Back in 2012 I used to mine in a small factory, with business electricity contract, mined for 9 months 24/7 with some ASICs at 0$. Now it's very hard, almost impossible to find free electricity, you should do business with someone in China or other countries where electricity is cheap.

365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big Players Of The Future on: March 16, 2015, 11:25:14 PM
Not the same thing, but probably Ripple and Stellar will be big players in the near future. Just my opinion Smiley
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: March 16, 2015, 11:21:40 PM
The new name aims competing directly with Bitcoin? Maybe "dark" scares people and you want another, more "commercial" name?
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are your main sources of Bitocin/Crypto news? on: March 16, 2015, 11:17:51 PM

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CannabisCoin [CANN][X11][Official][2] Developments & Discussions on: March 16, 2015, 11:05:31 PM
dump time  Roll Eyes

Who cares, there's over a month to the event. The whales know this is the time to accumulate.

When people say dump, whales buy, when people say buy, whales dump. Simple Wink
370  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 16, 2015, 08:23:51 PM
I would sell all my Bitcoins only if it would make me billionaire Grin
371  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What you you do with 9kW of private hydro? on: November 10, 2014, 11:10:12 PM
okay if the power is free and you are in the usa you may be able to buy used s-3's on ebay cheaper then buying new ones from bitmaintech.
electricity is never free. Especially when you have this much excess electricity. The OP could potentially sell the electricity back to the grid, and the rate that the OP would receive from these sales is his "cost"
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BIMTMAIN-ANTMINER-S3-450gh-s-5-IN-Hand-Ships-Now-/271660841684?

I got some from this seller for 222.22 usd  and I had a few ebucks.  If I were you I would consider buying a few from him.  the gear has been good.  he ships a little slow
ebay will generally have higher prices as there are a lot of suckers on ebay willing to pay crazy prices. Bitman is selling s3's for ~$190 worth of bitcoin plus shipping, and the OP would need to order a large enough quantity that he could probably command some kind of discount and the shipping cost would be low on a per unit basis

376  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: All of Satoshi's bitcoins will belong to NY after 5 years of inactivity on: August 02, 2014, 02:39:06 AM
This would only be true if he held his bitcoin at an exchange and his account at the exchange were to be inactive after 5 years. After the 5 year period is up the assets would still belong to the customer, but the state would "hold" the assets until the customer claims them.

Unless the state runs low on revenue
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=4832471

That article says that CA is the worst offender of doing this, but it also notes that the money CA is taking as unclaimed is a "massive loan" so if the rightful owner of the property comes forward then the state will need to pay the owner for that property.
377  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Using Bitcoin to Doge Child Support Collection on: August 02, 2014, 02:16:50 AM
The court is able to hold a deadbeat parent in jail if they do not pay the child support that they owe. Bitcoin would be able to prevent the court from garnishing assets/wages but would not be able to prevent incarceration.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN A CIA PROJECT? on: August 02, 2014, 02:00:17 AM
seriously.. why post a reddit link made by you, that links to a website made by you which has an article made by you. which quotes opinions that are made by you.... you clearly have no reputation and you have no true understanding of bitcoin or the history.,

why are you wasting your time making these sock puppets and spreading FUD.
I agree that this is nothing more then FUD. The protocol is open source so anyone can audit it and many people do audit it.
379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is a normal amount to mine a day? on: July 27, 2014, 12:31:53 AM
If the difficulty just changed and no additional miners have come onto the network then 3,600 btc should be miner per day plus TX fees.
380  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: July 27, 2014, 12:25:43 AM
The more appropriate thread would be this one (warning, NSFW language and thread title):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150803.0

BFL took preorder money for Monarch from last August onwards.  They were supposed to start shipping the initial Monarchs in November 2013.  It's the end of July 2014 and they don't have a prototype that meets 90% of spec (currently it's getting about 360GH/s with lots of errors rather than 600GH/s).

Just a reminder for any new users to avoid that company at all costs (and I was a former customer regretfully).
I remember seeing BFL advertising the monarch late last year when I first got interested in bitcoin and though that it would likely be a bad dead at then current difficulty levels.
