361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARRIVAL IEOs _ Investigate before investing on: April 03, 2019, 01:41:19 AM
Reputability, transparency, and security are important to evaluate before you choose to invest into any new startup using a launchpad to fund their venture no matter how much media hype or how many glowing reviews it receives because not all of them will be hosted by trustworthy exchanges and this can present risks for investors who haven't done their due diligence so be certain to conduct your own thorough research before investing
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think the bear market is over for some coins on: April 03, 2019, 12:48:15 AM
Alt-season has certainly arrived judging by recent trends and although market conditions have just started to marginally improve many alternatives are still representing good value buys if they haven't recently appreciated already so make sure you don't any miss any opportunities that may present themselves just ensure you're adding good quality assets to your portfolio
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the era change from ICO (Initial Coin Offering) to STO (Security Token O) on: April 02, 2019, 04:26:04 AM
Security Token Offerings (STOs) have arrived but are yet to really hit the mainstream because Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) are quickly starting to win over some of the crowd funding market share, however this won't mean the demise of ICOs as they will still be used for certain applications especially where utility tokens are concerned or where less restrictions on who can participate are an advantage
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOs are really the future of ICOs? on: April 02, 2019, 02:58:33 AM
STOs are slowly starting to gain in popularity as a crowd funding solution and some offer dividends, whereas others include voting rights and each startup is generally required to register with the SEC as an approved securities issuer, so make sure this has been accomplished before you consider investing capital in these types of ventures and as always do a thorough due diligence analysis to ensure the project has long term viability
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you recommend? on: April 02, 2019, 12:55:59 AM
You can invest in smaller and lesser well known projects such as this if you like the coin specifications and ROI, but there are more options available in this category so just ensure the project you choose has a dedicated development team behind it who are very communicative and that it has enough liquidity in secondary markets else you may find the value isn't sustainable long term and you'd be better off investing in a higher quality asset even if the profits aren't as much

367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst ICO ever? on: March 30, 2019, 02:10:14 AM
Most ICOs are scams or vaporware and there are plenty of bad examples so if you are planning to launch your own crowdsale its best to ensure you have a unique idea to present that has a real world use case and an effective way to achieve adoption, and take into consideration market conditions when setting your softcap and hardcap, and also evaluate what crowd funding solution might suit best whether it be the traditional ICO or the newer IEO and STO solutions because the latter two are now becoming more popular choices for investors
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 30, 2019, 01:01:37 AM
Network performance has improved amongst other things like lower transaction fees and it has steadily growing brand recognition and adoption, but the value hasn't appreciated even with the arrival of alt season which may be the result of increased competition from other platforms however it should still enjoy a moderate upswing before the years out especially if further upgrades and developments coming up are on track
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: March 30, 2019, 12:25:32 AM
Lots of ICO investors are just looking for a quick flip and will dump impatiently if there's no increase in value after an asset lists on a secondary market, and there's also larger investment groups who purchased during the private sale and pre-sale rounds who don't always have their holdings locked for a period of time who can contribute to lower prices, but sometimes this can be a great buying opportunity just ensure the project has a strong use case and long term viability
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the pump, Bitcoin won't stay pass 4k nor does it deserve to. on: March 29, 2019, 12:05:23 AM
Not sure what you're trying to express here, but the blockchain technology underlying Bitcoin has been proven to be relatively secure based on proof-of-work and value wise the market still hasn't managed to turn bullish yet, hence the low prices, but things won't remain that way forever as there's plenty of forecasts for further improvements from the second quarter coming up so I wouldn't worry too much about any of these issues
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FIGHTING AGAINST ICO SCAM on: March 28, 2019, 05:17:04 AM
Not all ICOs are worthless just look at projects like Ethereum and EOS who successfully raised funds using this method and are now top ranked platforms, however, you are correct in highlighting the fact that this form of crowd funding has been exploited by scammers and professionals who lack the necessary skills or experience to launch a startup and is no longer a popular avenue of raising funds, but all this is starting to change with IEOs and STOs gaining popularity that can offer more protection for investors
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price and trading volume going up on: March 28, 2019, 12:57:47 AM
There's a few reasons including a recent re-branding, announcement of a mimblewimble implementation, and the upcoming block halving event which have contributed to both daily volume and the overall value and it will be interesting to see what effect the halving has on the market cap in the lead up to it as this may demonstrate what kind of potential similar events might have for other assets
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from Japan on: March 28, 2019, 12:01:17 AM
This is great news for cryptocurrency adoption if it eventuates and there's already several other major retail chains worldwide that are looking to adopt the lightening network as a future channel for payments even though the technology is still in an early stage of development and there should be increasing interest from this year which will help the drive toward mass adoption and potentially add further value to the market along the way
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: March 27, 2019, 03:02:33 AM
New projects aren't worthless provided they bring new technologies to the table whether it be a protocol, security, or utility etc. but many are simply rip-offs of other ideas or clones of original code bases and these generally don't offer much in the way of innovation and instead are used for pump and dumps and ponzi schemes so don't invest in any of these unless you're certain they've got long term potential and a dedicated development team and strong community
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto is getting ready for nice rally. Are you ready? on: March 27, 2019, 01:18:29 AM
The market still hasn't turned bullish yet, but the recent surge in alternatives due to the arrival of alt-season indicates that its fundamentals are quite healthy despite the pessimistic outlook portrayed in the media over the last few days, so don't get caught up in too much of that and look toward the next steps for positive progress in the industry which include broader adoption, increased interest in new crowd funding solutions and regulatory clarity
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: March 26, 2019, 04:24:24 AM
The price is indicative of investor sentiment and you can be sure that there are plenty of very eager investment funds out there that are starting to realize how much long term potential there can be in cryptocurrency assets and are accumulating at cheap prices and waiting for the next wave driven by mass adoption so don't miss out on any big opportunities that present themselves no matter what your starting capital might be just invest wisely and as always do your own research
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: March 26, 2019, 01:41:01 AM
Diversifying into higher risk assets is not necessarily a good strategy unless you can get them at a bargain when they're well oversold and then be patient and wait for them to appreciate again, but this will only benefit you if it is good quality startups you're committing capital to not just any flavor of the week token and especially not any asset that doesn't have a good quality MVP, transparent team, strong marketing and promising partnerships
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto space must be sanitized on: March 26, 2019, 12:57:58 AM
The cryptocurrency crowd funding industry has gained a tarnished reputation over the past couple of years due to an abundant amount of scams, ponzi schemes, and projects that don't deliver on their promises and a lot of this has to do with a lack of awareness so it's very important for investors to conduct their own thorough research and due diligence with each offering whether it be an ICO, IEO or STO and not just rely on benchmarks, hype or the latest launchpad to ensure the investment is worthwhile
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Listing Exchange Fees on: March 25, 2019, 02:10:10 AM
It depends on what type of asset you want to list if it's a token you can list it for free on decentralized exchanges or if its your own coin you've created there are many smaller centralized exchanges with inexpensive listing fees, however, as aforementioned listing on a medium to large exchange that is ranked in the top 100 can involve huge fees although you can generally negotiate these based on the demand for your asset and market conditions
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: March 25, 2019, 01:10:10 AM
Which of the two has more use cases, more daily transactions, and a higher rate of adoption etc? That should help you determine which asset has more potential but the obvious answer would likely be the Ethereum network due to it's broader range of use cases, rapidly growing rate of adoption and potential for enterprise solutions
