Companies that do STO will issue security tokens and utility tokens.
Companies benefit from either, We can get a stable profit.
However, the participation condition will be more stringent than the ICO.
The rich get even more money, the poor are still poor.

While it is safe to opine that security token offering is gaining some traction in the crypto-currency ecosystem I think initial coin offering will not be totally discarded. I see both existing together

STO still have more probability to accepted by regulation. So for now I prefer to give my interest on STO since ICO not showing a good progress since 2018. And more raudulent activity was founded on ICO.  We are missing the pride of ICO like 2015, 2016, 2017.

I think that today there is not much difference in general. Therefore, I think that here and there have their own security holes. Therefore, I think that all this is temporary. In general, it is possible to use STO only if you really want to be fully verified.

What is important in STO. Which institution was authorized? And is there proper management?
We constantly need to investigate information and obtain reliable information.
Some ICOs are licensed. However, 99% crypto currency will not be licensed.
More information about next generation STO is necessary for us.

I think that the era of ICO is already changing, as now STO appear more and more often. I think that in the future will be more stringent regulation, because at the moment STO is not much to decide.

I think sto will bring more trust to crypto because investors will feel like they are part of the projects that they've invested in. Projects like vaultbank, tap, tzero etc sell security tokens and they're doing pretty well

I am honestly really excited to see how these play out in the long run. I think STOs will be successful especially Polymath's platform seems ideal for investors

Basically both ICOs and STOs will continue to exist as times goes on. Not all company will offer a ST20 depending on the companies project model. Not all offering will be a security so since there will exist utility tokens, ICO will continue to exist

It is highly likely. A token that combines both may become mainstream.

It is easy to take an ICO and take responsibility STO.
Which do investors trust?
I also think like you. Now there are too many scam projects. Investors are hard to trust to invest in ICO. If I combine both, I think it will increase confidence for investors

It's not about STO.. it's about public sale. I wish I could buy tapn but unfortunately the tokens are being sold privately. After their partnership with brave people got crazy about it but they cannot profit from it. Anyways I tend to agree with you!

I am pretty sure that STOs will replace ICOs. We have searched for a method that could protect crypto currencies investors from taking part in scam projects and STOs are finally allowing such an option for all participants.

Yes and we are currently already moving towards the STO paradigm. Investors have more trust to STOs, because as far as I know there are not so many security token offerings that ended up as a scam project.

Security Token Offerings (STOs) have arrived but are yet to really hit the mainstream because Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) are quickly starting to win over some of the crowd funding market share, however this won't mean the demise of ICOs as they will still be used for certain applications especially where utility tokens are concerned or where less restrictions on who can participate are an advantage

I don't think the era will change from ICO since there will be so many new  ICOs especially today, and there is a new kind of token offering which named IEO and its held by the exchange.

Despite the fact that the Securities Initial Offering (STO)  is a more sophisticated and legalized form of crowdfunding compared to Initial Coin Offering (ICO), I think both methods will continue to function. Mainly institutional investors will invest in the STOs, and all other participants of the cryptocurrency market, including those who want to preserve their anonymity, will invest in ICO projects.

Adding desico on your list has ruin the total list because desico project is very tricky and not straight forward ,they have been unfair with bounty hunters in the past so I don't trust them ,even just because they've switched to STO doesn't mean they are clean I'm better off with IEO this days

It might change because people are not anymore interested in ICOs since so many of them are scam. Let's see if STO can offer them some kind of advantage and stop scammers from opening so much useless projects. Honestly I dont see any big difference between them so STO will die a lot sooner than ICO did
