Profile information is not realtime, it gets refreshed every 5 minutes, to avoid DOS (if someone sends 1000 requests/sec of the profile, the system will have to do a lot of calculations and the site would collapse). Just have a little patience. :-)

Maybe I can reset timers when a transaction is done. Working on it.

I realize that this may be a little annoying, but I'm pretty sure it's more than 5 minutes  Tongue

It's been... 35 minutes?

Does it update once every hour?

Hmm... it lists the transaction, but doesn't do anything:

Question, if there's no 2nd or 3rd grade sponsor, does one keep the 15% of the income that goes to them?

I'm quite interested in this, although I'm currently looking for a Windows VPS.

May I ask why your business (or most that I've seen) runs Ubuntu instead of Windows? Is it because Ubuntu is a free OS? If so, couldn't you simply purchase a Windows 7 business license?

As far as I know, it's not exclusive to just the OS' provided - a custom one can be installed upon request. It's just that the provided ones are much quicker to install =P

As to Windows VPS', I think one of the other customers has one as well, so I assume that mrgasp would be willing to install another one to fit your needs.

Be sure to, when you visit to IRC, just ask your questions, and stay tuned for a reply (better way would be to provide contact information, however). MrGaSp would most likely see it within a few hours, or else I or Diab1o could pass it on.
368  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.3.6 on: April 29, 2012, 04:35:21 AM
Hmm... Problem's gone now. Nevermind then, sorry for bothering you. I think it has to do with my installation of ntpd while using cgminer.
369  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.3.6 on: April 29, 2012, 03:55:26 AM
There seems to be a problem with the share/time counts, as I only have a small 220 mhash/s and cgminer's showing me a constantly growing 37.14 shares per minute.

Con - should have quoted in my last post...

The fact he mentions 37.14 displayed he is NOT using 2.3.6 and should update...

1 decimal is fine for U as you said...

I am using 2.3.6... I just recently cloned it from the git repo and built it. The number's at 128.89 shares/min now.

I have a K100, one of the huge black ones on the top with multiple heatpipes, and I get 58C on my 5770 with 1000 Mhz Core, 300 Mhz Mem, and 1.2v in 24C ambient. Temps would probably be better if I put another fan in or redo the thermal paste  Wink But damn is the thing big (it's a lot longer than my 5770 PCB)

EDIT: I get 54C with 24C Ambient and MX-4 as paste. Pretty sure I can get better if I had alcohol and sandpaper to clean the heatsinks and the gpu. BTW, for smaller GPUs, it has to hang upside down. The heatpipes are upside down, but I don't know whether or not that changes anything.

Pool is offline  Sad

EDIT: Nvm, seems to be back on now.

EDIT: Back offline again...
374  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: April 01, 2012, 03:42:26 PM
There's an error that I encountered when upgrading from 0.42 to 0.43a:
Code:
david@david-xubuntu:~/electrum/client$ ./electrum
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./electrum", line 71, in <module>
    WalletSynchronizer(wallet,True).start()
  File "/home/david/electrum/client/interface.py", line 344, in __init__
    self.start_interface()
  File "/home/david/electrum/client/interface.py", line 415, in start_interface
    self.wallet.pick_random_server()
AttributeError: Wallet instance has no attribute 'pick_random_server'

Had to destroy the existing wallet and recover from seed.

It would appear that the server is having a memory error.. I need to do some work with it, but first i have to go to work.  It wont boot, it errors while POSTing, and wont display anything any more..

First restart went all the way to OS Boot, but no luck.  Second one locked up while scanning the drives, thrid wont kick on video.. Progressively worse...  Angry

I'll take a look at it when I get home, sorry for the inconvenience.

Note on Payments: Hold off on them until I can get this back up

Edit: 4 beeps, not 3, so could be a motherboard fail =<

=( Good luck finding the error! Try the equipment with other MBs? Or maybe the CPU failed Oo... but I don't think it would achieve that series of problems. MB was probably strained for sending too much power to CPU for too long of a time.

Do you offer the new Humble Bundle for Android 2?
378  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: March 30, 2012, 10:57:10 AM
hey, I seem to keep getting socket errors. They come every once in a while and soon fill up my entire console window.
379  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bounty for translations of the Bitcoin article in Wikipedia [upto 23 BTC] on: March 26, 2012, 12:57:44 PM
I really do hope that you don't leave the bitcoin community, nor react in such a harsh way. I, myself, am not too sure about this bounty (being a relatively small member of this forum), but I believe most of the people here to be people of their word, so I'm sure that this issue should be resolved soon.

Being angry doesn't help though, so cheer up  Cheesy

btw, though I know it might be long lost, do you have the original link of the bounty thread?

380  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What happens when all bitcoins are mined? on: March 22, 2012, 10:55:46 AM
blockchain... erm ... bloatchain will be 1000 terabytes by that time, and bitcoin would be dead cause you'd have get 10 empty hard drives just to hold it all...

Who knows? Hard disk capacities will grow exponentially with time. Today, one terabyte per 3.5 inch HDD. Tomorrow, one petabyte. Wink
