Its not fair giving him bad trust this early D: please remove that
If you think that me removing my Trust rating for him will in any way affect his decision or speed in which he sends you your coins, you are mistaken.

Added paypalmycashtobitcoin.blogspot.com. Basically anything exchange-related hosted on Blogspot.com is going to be a scam.

I think I need some help! I'm in London and I just got scammed (450gbp It is a long story,so if you help me I will give you back 125% after one month + I can make you a exchange website for free and also I will tell you 5 secrets about exchanging website. This topic will be available only 5 hours from now,I'm in zone3.
Didn't I leave you negative Trust before because I suspected you of being a scammer? And now here you are asking for a loan. I'm SHOCKED!

Uhm, because you're a scammer would be my best guess. Somebody contacted me about escrow work and relayed the Bitcoin address you PM'd him: 1pHvoTZ152B7aq3Nz5XeTfzminifpZJps That also happens to be the address of iambusy and beaman. Any comment on that?

Log out, account abandoned

Why would you give a loan without collateral?

|
If you need an escrow to hold funds until participants get their product, I can do it. Would you like to use an escrow?

OP constantly has "problems" withdrawing money out of his various online accounts of some form or another. What makes you think he'll be smart enough to figure out how to send/receive a Bitcoin transaction?

Did anyone else notice it says "stake"? I'm sure I read this thread a few days ago and thought it said "state".
Yes, I did indeed mean "stake"

Sent you a PM. I can supply you with $5K/day worth of BTC for cash deposit, up to around 3000 BTC. We can trim the fat and totally eliminate PayPal Mycash from the equation and save you 15%. Let me know.
Pm send Received. Now I'm completely baffled why you wouldn't want 15% more BTC by simply eliminating the PayPal Mycash middle man. You can go out and ostensibly buy PayPal Mycash cards with cash, but you can't do a cash deposit?

Just out of curiosity, why would you take a 15%+ hit by going through PayPal Mycash when you can simply send cash-in-mail to various highly trusted members here and receive coins at a much much lower rate? Seems awfully wasteful and inefficient to me.

Take note, people. This is how you sell gift/reload cards.

I don't think you're going to find anybody who is willing to sell you BTC using PayPal. Well, I'm sure you'll get at least a few PMs from brand-new users who will insist that you send PP first, using the excuse that "You're protected because if I don't send you the Bitcoin(s), you can always reverse payment." That's when you know for certain that you're dealing with a scammer who has no intention of sending you any coins at all.
Anyway, your best bet is to use a service like Coinbase or Circle.com to buy BTC. The fees are a lot lower than PayPal, that's for sure.

But the point is, we have seen:
A) The "trusted people" abuse that power numerous times. So they aren't really trusted, are they? B) The default trust list is not based off of people who are trustworthy, they are based off of Theymos friends and acquaintances.
Neither of those two scenarios is worthy of putting any trust in. A user should not have any trusted people listed in his list by default. He (or she) should have people in there based on their dealings with them. If they do a trade or something, when they leave feedback, have it ask if they want to be put into the trust list. They could also put someone in there manually... but having DeafultTrust in the trust list is a bad idea, no matter how you slice it. It just sets up everyone for failure, as we have ample evidence for at this point. Fair point. However, I just want to make it clear that I don't know Theymos IRL. In fact, I'm not even sure how I got into the DefaultTrust group. I made this account to talk smack to Smoothie back in the Solidcoin drama days (not that I was a big Solidcoin supporter; I just liked playing devil's advocate). I could be as foul-mouthed and as much of a dick as I wanted to without tarnishing the rep of my actual account. Then at some point this account actually had better rep than my main and my ratings on others actually had a huge impact, and that's when I realized I had better get my shit together and start being more impartial and be more considerate of other peoples situations. Not every brand-new account asking for a loan is a scammer. Not every person selling MSDN invites is out to take your money and run. So if you get a negative rating from me and you don't agree with it, just shoot me a PM and I'll give it a second look, it's not that big a deal. I don't get a huge power trip out of flagging people... unless it's an actual scammer. Anyway, I'm not even sure where I was going with this.

Tomatocage, are you really going to say this liar is trustworthy? If I think a user is trustworthy, I would add them to my Trust list and give them a positive rating.
