Where did you get your Avalon? Zoom hash? I hear there is a group buy for US somewhere to get cost down to 1200? Looking to get 2 of them but Zoomhash is getting 1450 then also need a PI.

Just found this link, good thing as I was considering buying 2 units direct. Please put me down for 2 units and I also need a PI controller. Will be shipping to zip 12110. Philip, I sent you a PM asking about the Avalon before I found this group and saw you are doing the escrow for the buy.
Anyway, have not done a group buy before so just let me know what I need to do and when and where to send the funds, I have the BTC already allocated for this.

I flashed both versions to the corresponding Rpi (SD cards) and neither worked.
I used Win32DiskImager and SD Formatter
Interesting - that's exactly the process I used and it worked fine for me... And the new version of the RPi firmware has the ability to upgrade through the web interface. Are you sure you flashed it with the correct version for the original Pi? It's the bcm2708 version - the other version is for the RPi2. Oh, one other thing worth noting, I've reverted back to the 11/24 MM instead of the 12/25, I was having units randomly go offline and remain offline - but you can run the 11/24 MM on the latest RPi image without any problems. I am using 601510-afa837a0 with the stock sdcard kilo17 sent to me good results I am downvolting today 11.75 volts at freq 500 and fan 20 very quiet at these settings and good eff about .3 watts a gh  Where did you get your Avalon? Trezor, love it and sleep at night knowing my keys never leave the device. Very easy to use with Chome plugin. Even if you have a infested computer or use a library computer, bad guy can't get your keys unless they got a gun to your head and you give it to them. |

Since your taking requests, I would like to see new blocks made every 8 hours or at least make a new block before the last one is confirmed. Why didn't I think of that, I'll get right on it. Edit: Kano's api won't allow it.  guess we'll just have to get them the old fashioned way. Kano- can you open up the API for Zach? Would like the function to request new blocks at will, preferably every 8 hours or before the previous block is confirmed. I think everyone would like the same functionality. Hoping some of that luck will rub off...  hahahahhahaha good luck, and dont forget to take the lump sum and pay all your taxes. also open a "hedge fund" i.e. private placement fund, and put your money in it on an offshore site that is safe. then invest in the world. or have me do it If I win, I'll be hiring Kano and CK to put my new 100PH mine and private pool!
