I did this because I will be handling OPM  (other people's money)  and while I trust kilo17 with my money I still need to do due diligence .  Once I release the funds to blockC's address it is on them to send out the miners.  

They have been good to all buyers I know, but I still need to check to be sure.

I have no problem with miners being sent straight here for hosting. I'd need to know either who has how many, or if the individual boxes are tagged with your handle (via a c/o or something). Anyone wanting the hosting option can contact me directly for more details. That should not affect payment or escrow in any way. I'm not officially involved in the group buy, just kinda tagging along.

pikachuy - that's similar to what we're working on (but haven't manufactured in bulk yet); my new board has our standard 10-pin IO header for advanced interfacing, and will mount up either our standard screw terminals or about a dozen 6-pin PCIe jacks. But like I said, stock's about a month out. Right now I really don't have any breakout boards to offer for anything.

Anyone that wants to ship to Phil will get the units the fastest.  I am personally paying for 2 day air shipping for all units going to Phil and myself.  That costs $40/unit.  So if you are sending them to Phil the amount will be $1100. 

Anyone choosing the $1112 option can have them shipped to their place but it is by ground and there is a considerable time difference. 

The idea behind me paying the $40 for all of them going to Phil is:
1- As a thank you to Phil
2- Because it is just easier to only ship to a few places.

Have not owned a Avalon before, only Bitmain crap. I'm aware of the PI to run as controller and already have a ton of USB cables, but whats the  4 pin cable and blue adapter for?

Avalon6 uses a chainable SPI interface. They take a USB cable from the Pi to an SPI adapter which then goes to one miner. Each miner has two SPI ports, so you'd have cables to daisychain from one miner to another. You'd only need one controller and SPI adapter to run, I don't know exactly how many but probably dozens of Avalon6.

Anyone considering hosting, ground shipping from California to here would be between 3 and 4 days.
