361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 25, 2024, 03:28:40 AM
The lesson here is always check the wallet address before you deposit no matter how long do you use the same address. Most importantly don’t use casino wallet address to receive funds that has a delay such as loan money and campaign payments since there’s a chance that they will update their wallet address without prior notice.
I agree, as much as possible we should have a spare wallet where we can send the borrowed money instead of relying on the casino's deposit address. And it's better to be cautious by going through the extra effort of creating another transaction to avoid those unexpected problems.

Also, it's good to hear that the casino helped you recover the money in the end because i've heard similar cases from others and I rarely see them getting it back.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 25, 2024, 01:22:33 AM
I'm back with another total bet and will try to extend it to five in a row if my luck doesn't fall off.

I saw the total bet on the Lakers vs. Pacers hovering a bit too high when their previous h2h matches ended with less than 240 points.

A few ways for this to go over is when they start fouling to force countless free throws or if both teams can land 60% of their shots.

Edit: My under is about to get busted based on the current pace of the game, it's too fast.  Lips sealed

I want to thank the sheriff for giving me my first win of the season.  Wink

Even though I had a decent lead after the first half it was still a close call because we had a lot of different answers, and then the F1 question(Norris/Alonso duel) ended it all.

I hope this week won't be too harsh because i'm usually cursed after getting a win.

I'm also happy to see G2 making into next week because VP is the most uncomfortable team to play against as they tend to squash you on every single statistic. From money to utilities to frags and then rounds...crazy style that one day should win a trophy.
I feel bad for VP even though they've been on and off throughout the tournament, they should've had that 2-0 win against G2 if it weren't for the sudden crash on Jame's PC during the 23rd round in Inferno.

Suggest that you guys watch more of these games apart from the intent of seeing whether your bets/parlays secured but oh well.
I only watched a bit of the final and had to switch back to the PGL Major since i'm more hooked on the elimination matchups when the top teams are one series away from potentially being eliminated.

If you could link me to some webpage I could follow strategy games like those I mentioned I would feel greatful, also of there are some sport books where I could place some bets on those games it would be cool. Thanks in before.
Even though I don't bet on Age of Empires, Liquipedia's Age of Empire homepage might be a good start. I always browse the other Liquipedia wikis when i'm going to bet on the other esports titles. They help a lot in providing information because of the team/player profiles that show their recent matches.

Right now , I'm hoping to see a 3rd map between paIN gaming and MongolZ as these 2 teams have a lot of young talents whiting their team like Techno on MongolZ or lux on paIN Gaming.
The third map of their series somehow ended with the craziest back-and-forth lasting 40 rounds in total. It was sloppy for both teams, and I think that's what made the series interesting.  Grin

FURIA is back to another 0-2 start again lol, the bad seeding fucked them and it only got worse because a few good teams dropped their opening match.

Another massive victory from Imperial against VP but I must say VP can't win forever with that saving strategy but the current meta of CS is to save where even 4 vs 5 so in the long term , I can already see VP winning a major. Until then , I'm super curious to see how Imperial will do in this major but also if G2 can finally win something with Niko because the guy deserves a trophy!
I also didn't expect Imperial to beat VP, but they're unfortunate to get paired by Spirit with a 13-2 scoreline, and out of the teams with the same record they have to face Vitality later today.

The DreamLeague S23 qualifiers are also becoming interesting with Spirit eliminated by 1win and Aurora getting knocked down to the lower bracket, which means we could see a few new teams this upcoming season. Shocked
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 21, 2024, 05:01:49 PM
The worst thing I don't want to experience in a casino is probably getting hacked out of the blue. Even with the extra layer of security we have in place, it can still happen, and while i'm away I sometimes get these random thoughts because I always have some balance sitting on my casino account. It's usually an amount I can afford to lose and even then it's still money at the end of the day. It might just be me overthinking about these situations, but you never know when someone can randomly target your account and get away with it on a random day.

The Heat vs Cavaliers was play and catch up game like I anticipated, I expected the Heat to be the team playing most of the catch up but it was the Cavaliers that did for most of the game, they left quite late into the 4th Quarter before making my bet a win but that was due to the Cavaliers taking the lead and the Heat had to figure something out, but thanks to an home coming hero in Terry Rozier great statement in the last one minute plus change.
I also caught the end of the Cavs match thinking they'd seal the deal in the final minute, but Rozier came in clutch in the last few possessions.

Your Sacramento Kings - Raptors Under was also an easy win for you, the Raptor could hardly keep up the pace against the Kings.
Thanks, I thought it'd get close when they started with a 59-point first quarter, and then the Raptors made my bet look better as they started to brick half of their shots in the next three quarters.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friends engaging on P2P gambling insights grudges amongst themselves on: March 21, 2024, 03:28:35 AM
Have you ever been in the situation of asking your friend (s) to go down with you on a P2P gambling just between you as friends?
I used to bet against my friend several times before, and if someone's on the losing end they know there's no way to get their money back except for specific reasons.

Back to the topic, the other friend in that situation is stepping over the line, and the winner is already generous enough to give anything back. Getting peer pressured to give a portion of your winnings shouldn't happen unless you're the one who made the initiative.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake it all put of over confidence in your club on: March 21, 2024, 01:42:44 AM
Can any one do this or was it a foolish move?
Even though your friend got away with a big win through Man United's comeback, it's always a bad idea to put too much trust in a team based on your feelings because comebacks mostly depend on luck and more factors could be involved behind their win.

You don't simply go all in on the team you follow, if you do go that route you'll later learn the reality and fade your favorite team when it matters.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 20, 2024, 10:49:15 PM
The over ticket I had for the Magic game yesterday somehow landed as a winner with the total ending on exactly 204 points. I had low expectations after their slow first quarter until they decided to speed things up, dropping 50+ points in the next quarter.

I'm aiming for three in a row with this next bet (under 233.5) on the Kings vs. Raptors. I see the Raptors barely hitting a hundred on their recent losses and the Kings can always slow down if they can start to pull away in the first half.

It's hard to pick. The upper ranks are battling the underdogs. Most lines are -10 upward.
I agree, the only decent one is probably the Cavs match, but it's still risky when the Heat can capitalize on the injuries.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: March 20, 2024, 04:16:17 PM
The SA region is packed with all these teams though, these new organizations planning to get into dota2 scene should really consider The MENA region instead
That's possible if there was a decent stack similar to what we're seeing in the SEA region and can pressure the other good teams.

Imperial are playing Gamerlegion in a few hours to keep their run into PGL Majors at Copenhagen.
After Imperial threw the first map away I thought it'll be a 2-0 sweep for GL. I grabbed their live odds after they bounced back on Mirage, we'll see if they can complete the reverse sweep.

374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: March 20, 2024, 12:44:30 AM
and I don't think that the percentage of losers is greater than the winners .
I'm curious what makes you think the percentage isn't higher when the losers are the ones maintaining their profits? The RTP might be close, but there's still a big gap between the probabilities they set on most games where the losers will always end up being higher.

Is this true gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it?
For the most part, i'd agree that it's mostly a place to spend your money similar to how we go the extra mile for other activities we like doing.

Well, Entity got really lucky as they have ended up with the $50k grand prize for this finals as they've beaten Virtus.Pro from game 2-4. The first match was won by VP but then it ends there.
VP got lucky in the first map with Entity picking Meepo against a Gyro carry lineup. After the second and third maps I knew my ticket was about to lose, they cooked up much better drafts and outplayed VP throughout the series.

Anyway, another org is stepping into the Dota scene (Leviatan) and they're currently competing in the SA qualifiers with Chris Luck as their temporary position 2 player. The SA qualifiers are only getting stacked at this point, and I wonder how cheap is the operation cost given so many orgs are willing to give it a shot.

The totals for the Warriors match yesterday landed easily, as the Knicks kicked it up a notch, dropping 119 points to get the win.  Cheesy

I'll try another over pick, and this will be for the Magic vs. Hornets match. The total seems to be hovering on the lower side, but I have high hopes that they can push the Hornets to score at least a hundred based on their last h2h, which ended with 240+ points.

Anybody got any tips for me for the top seeds of March Madness? I know the top seed seldom wins, but do they usually perform at least in the first round? Or do they also get knocked out.
UConn Huskies might be the safest bet because they have the best percentage in covering handicaps (60%) and i'd say that's the best indicator for the BSFL. Even though the top teams can lose, I doubt we'll see it happen when there's still a huge gap between them.

The other top-seed teams have less (50%) cover rate, but not by much. It still depends on luck because the underdogs can always step up and force the teams to play at the same level.

Do you guys see this 1win series dota 2 spring? It's a quick tournament with a $100k prize pool and I haven't watched a lot of games from this tournament as it's just like a passerby tournament.

Four teams were already eliminated and funny to see that the team of the actual sponsor has been eliminated early finishing with an 8th place. I am not surprised to see who are the four teams left.
Yeah, i've been following it a bit because they have some notable teams participating, but the weaker teams are taking it more seriously. At the same time, the better teams (Spirit and Liquid) are relaxed about losing, as they still have the bigger tournaments coming up in the next few weeks (Elite League and ESL Birmingham).

I already have my ticket ready for the finals later on VP, and even posted it on the other thread.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 19, 2024, 01:51:45 AM
That Clippers game yesterday was unfortunate, and i'm glad I skipped it because they've been a hit or miss recently like they lost their groove.

Knicks -6.5.  Might be a Homer bet but last 5 games keeping the opponent under 100 points, this one should be tight so long as everyone is full up playing.
That's ballsy to go for the alternate handicap and Anunoby is out for the Knicks. The under is tempting to grab when they've been slowing down and keeping the scores below 200 points, but i'm trusting my gut on GSW to force the pace and hit the over 210.

Nah its still too early to conclude that. Nigma Galaxy kinda reminded me of Manchester United, when you thought that they had it then somehow they could lose the next game lol. Anyway aside from The International, the best tournament name for me would be Animajor lol. I kinda love that tournament though and Im hoping that they could bring it back somehow
You have a point there. Nigma Galaxy can underperform when it matters the most, and I lowered my expectations on PSG.Quest too much when they just started playing with their new captain.

That would be a miracle if WePlay suddenly announces a tournament, but with the scene on the decline we might not see it happen again, and from what i've heard they're more focused on organizing streamer events.

BOL on the ticket, i'll be betting on VP to win the finals as I think Entity got lucky with the matchups and avoided Team Spirit throughout the tournament.
