with bittrex, nothings really changed. still simply waiting, in the same boat as a lot of other currencies. i fairly friendly with the folks behind poswallet, been staking a lot of my POS coins there, and theyve had the same frustrating wait and lack of replies from julian, but he is only one man and has his own projects to look after as well. perhaps bittrex needs a fulltime currency co-ordinator that can COMMIT the time to new coin listings, but we take what we can get.

ive been trying to think out of ht ebox as much as possible in order to gain this market some liquidity. i feel personally responsible (although thru events out of my control) that my absence caused such a drop in volume and delisting from bittrex, so ive been MORE than vigilant with trying to reopen our markets. possibly bordering on the pestery. thank you all for your patience, finding markets has never been easy for SOILcoin for some reason, but we persevere.

yobit is terribad. i had similar problems with them last year trying to get SOILcoin listed. took nearly six weeks to get a refund from them. cryptopia has a really good group of people around there, and with arbitrage, the marketplace, the hosted mining pools, etc. it seems like one that is bound to stick around.

AMYgws has been created as a response to the deepening financial crisis in Brazil, Latin America's largest economy. Although the Central Bank has reduced the benchmark SELIC rates, and although monthly inflation rates have only recently levelled out after nearly a decade of steady increase... nearly 13,000,000 Brazilians are out of work (12.6% unemployment rates recorded in January2017). Scandals have plagued the government, and trust in the Brazilian Real is lower than ever. Gross domestic product is estimated to have fallen more than 7 percent in two years, causing unemployment to nearly triple, while the government budget deficit had reached 5.8 billion reais (US$1.7 billion) as of last year.

There are signs of a weakening of the recession, but an economic turnaround is unlikely in the forseeable future by any finacial forecasts. Meanwhile, trade volume in cryptocurrencies has risen by over 45% in Brazil compared to the same period only a year ago, and in August 2016, Mercado Bitcoin; Brazil's largest BTC exchange; processed over 28.5% of all BTC market trades. Merchants are becoming more and more aware and accepting of cryptocurrency transactions. Aracaju (pop: 850,000), the capital of the State of Sergipe, has the highest number of BTC-accepting merchants in the country, second only behind Beunos Aires in the entire western hemisphere.

Many banking and financial systems have now begun to actively invest in the underlying blockchain technology behind cryptocurrency, even though it is estimated that up to 40% of urban dwellers remain "underbanked" and have little to no access to traditional banking systems. Estimates for the entire continent put the figure closer to 70% (400 million people). The "unbanked" typically pay their bills in cash which has less purchasing power every week, and are obliged to carry around their earnings – often in high-crime neighborhoods – paying usurious interest rates to borrow from local (unregulated) money lenders. Even those who manage to set up an account and purchase on credit, from local retailers as an example, face elevated interest rates.

While many businesses have seen the advantage of e-payments in Latin America,  with several projects having success partnering with Visa, Mastercard and the like to set up prepaid cards for citizens to use with thier mobile phone to pay bills, transfer money to family and friends or deposit and withdraw at ATMs.

They pay a fee for each transaction, which is comparable to the high fees incurred in the rest of the western hemisphere for services provided by these profit-driven multinational corporations. Bitcoin acceptance is surging, as mentioned above, but barriers remain from reaching the whole of the "unbanked" in Latin America, the high cost of Bitcoin and the enormous outlay involved to set up even a small mining rig or costs of hosted cloud mining, or dust amounts of earning thru pool-mining.

Enter AMYgws. AMYgws (AMY) stands for AMY:global wealth system, and was launched by Brazilian developer MRSC, a Sao Paolo resident, who has been working with BTC and cryptocurrency since 2014. He built AMY with the hopes of providing a secondary e-currency to provide not only local purchasing convenience, but to allow an easy entry to cryptocurrency mining for Brazilians who are rapidly adopting cryptocurrency.

Further developments towards merchant adoption will be the availability of reloadable plastic Custom QR-Code AMYgws Payment Cards, I2P and TOR compatibility, android and iOS wallets, etc. The goal is to make (AMY) as accessible and available as possible. The aim of this project is to create an available payment system that allows entry level adopters to successfully partake in the emerging cryptocurrency ecosphere in a fast and secure fashion, with the hopes of spurring new devlopers to create decentralized wealth solutions for Latin America

Scrypt (pronounced ess-crypt) was chosen as it is generally considered more ASIC-resistant than Bitcoin's SHA-256 algorithm, and is easier to run mining operations using only CPU-mining or on-board GPU-mining with some economic advantage. The goal of Scrypt is to be more memory intensive than the purely computational SHA256, to make it impractical to run scrypt mining via the available ASIC mining rigs on the market. Updates to the AMYgws protocols will be an ongoing process, but this is the project developer's first cryptocurrency, and as the market he hopes to serve continues to emerge he too hopes to become a leading force in equalizing the financial system in Latin America.

id also spoken with a community member who quoted YoBit's 0.1 premium listing fee, and was wondering what you fine folks thought setting up a listing on YoBit?

my experience with that exchange wasnt very good the last time we pushed for a premium listing. i chased support staff around for several weeks trying to gt our listing set up, and finally they refunded the listing fee,i believe it was nearly a month later. things MAY have improved there, and we could desperately use an exchange, but the question is, do we simply settle?

there are as many fans of YoBit as there are detractors, and i know, as a trader, ive been frustrated with projects that have wallets in maintenance for far too long while other exchanges have active wallets of that same currency. volume there is decent, but id like to guage the community regarding that exchange.

ive been spending more and more time on cryptopia lately, the community there is really nice, and have been very supportive.

well, seeing as theres another canuck who replied above to this as well, itd be nice to have something like that, perhaps as delegates or a sort, who can mirror the model of contact and conduct you have set and im sure perfected, in dealing with prison administrations and populations in the US here in canada. im in eastern canada, so i can provide some sort of regional representation down the road. as i mentioned, ive had to deal with prisons my whole adult life, going in to visit my brother who has a hankering for pretty cars that arent his. (chuckles) i can see how this project would do well here in canada as well, and would love to simply watch and learn the process for when you feel scaling outward to canada might be a positive direction for CONX.

hadnt come across this one before, but i use medical marijuana for epilapsy, although i dont bother with the higher cbd stuff, and am actually fighting with the government to cover my prescription. im in receipt of welfare, rendered unemployable by epilepsy, and its become a quality of life thing, where i can go a week without a seizure while im taking marijuana, or go thru 3 to 4 grand mals a DAY when im not medicated. im dealing with a kangaroo court sorta thing, but have the nova scotia human rights commission ready to launch an investigation, and will be taking my fight to the supreme court of nova scotia.

anyhow, i use crypto to make that little bit extra when i can to help afford my prescription, and tend to move towards POS currencies, so ill definitely be watching this coin, and holding to stake. id already voted today at poswallet, which i hold a lot of coins at, and will vote daily for you at nova and posw until you are listed at both.

ok, ive never claimed collaboration with BOINC, what ive said repeatedly is that we are interested in building BOINC on the EVM and to structure it so that we are providing distributed scientific computing along the same structure for climateprediction.net. there have been several projects that have started looking into this, as the use of libraries with the opcode SETDELEGATE is becoming more of a realization.

also, i have never demanded anything of any sort, including statements of collaboration, from anyone involved with boinc, nor would i ever call anyone a "fucker". thats something very much not in my style. so, id love to see the chat logs from this supposed conversation i had with a boinc rep, or produce the name of the boinc chat rep that i supposedly cursed out so that i can get the logs from him, because you are outright lying in every aspect of your statement. 

i am not in collaboration with boinc, nor have i ever requested it. theyre open source, and as such, most investigation has been how to adjust parameters via smart contract to allow oracles to communicate with an on-chain "climate coin" to release proportional dividends for total work performed on climate models. i keep abreast of the other projects that are working to build a BOINC-type distributed computing dApp, and there are a few out there that are getting close.

but it has never been my style to accost anyone to call anyone names. even at launch, we had a user who did not provide any details to his contributions on the testnet, and deleted his keystore for the testnet after mainnet launch. i got called all sorts of names. and i didnt reply in any manner likewise, in fact we ended up giving him a bounty, not as much as he wanted (he expected the capped bounty) but SOMETHING. i dont operate in the way you describe, my conduct over the last year and a half on this forum should be testament to that.

i have a brother who has been in and out of the canadian prison system his entire adult life. have you thot about expanding the project into canada, or would you be looking for someone here in canada to help with getting CONX into the systems here? ive heard enough stories from my brother regarding how the exchange economy in prison works, a project like this can streamline a lot of that as long as theres a simple way for the prisoners to make transactions. would love to hear more about how the process is already being implemented, ie. how the administration has learned to monitor the blockchain, how each prisoner would be registered against their wallet address, if there are programs within the system for them to EARN concoin (does the administrations in the prisons have control of any amount use for these purposes?)

looking forward to seeing how this project plays out. refreshing to see a cryptocurrency pop up that has an idea and a purpose.
