Mine also start with T... Wonder if the one in the pic was a prototype private key printout. If you try banging the public key on the BTCC Mint Lookup page it doesn't find it. Would be nice to understand the logic behind the leading X, T letters.
Also wonder if the BTCC shot with the 105 means #105 or #5.
Quickly answer you're questions: - All production versions of the Half Bitcoin have "T" as starting letter of serial number. - The "X" coins were for testing and photography, and are not funded, and will not be sold or given away. - the T00105 (aka "T-105") means it has serial number #105 for this Half Bitcoin series. - all serial numbers under 100 for this Half Bitcoin are being auctioned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1651375.0thanks, Bobby

I've been thinking of putting my regular home poker game on the "bitcoin standard", and thought that it might be fun to make a set of real-world, bitcoin-denominated poker chips. Below you see my design for the chips I'm thinking of making. They will be casino-quality, 10g ceramic, 39mmx3mm chips. The denominations I've chosen are those I think would be most useful for home games. It's interesting to note that, since bitcoin is likely to deflate over time, then chips that will be issued later will be for tinier fractions of the monetary unit. I was wondering whether anyone else might be interested in purchasing a set of such chips from me for their own games? (I would, of course, accept payment in BTC.) So who's still interested in this topic? We may soon have something that you all may like!

Great this will be useful, a central place is always better than having to scroll through tons of threads. One thing that was mentioned before was, are you guys going to have some mintage numbers for all your products on your lookup page maybe? And also thanks to Anduck we have this great tool to figure out number of coins and addresses. https://anduck.net/bitcoin/btcc_coins.htmlAre you guys looking to implement something like that (officially) on your site somewhere? I'd find it very useful. That's a great idea. We'll be revamping our website sometime later this year/early next year, so any suggestions that you or other forum members have would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I've added our current mintage numbers to the original post. We'll add more mintage numbers as we finalize them.

We've posted the payment address in the original post. This address is the same address that we used to receive payment after our last auction.

Thank you for participating everyone! We'll be in touch shortly with more details.

0.32 btc for international shipping of a few hundred gramms of titanium from china? Are you serious? Ok it is Fedex but please make a cheaper shipping possible. Cancled my groupbuy for now because of that. The shipping prices that customers were being charged were incorrect. We found an error in our store system that resulted in customers being charged more for shipping than they’re supposed to. We apologize for this mistake. ========== The correct shipping fee schedule is: Africa/Latin America/Russia/Middle East/Oceania 1 package - 0.12 BTC 2 packages - 0.15 BTC 3 packages - 0.18 BTC ---------- Asia/Australia/North America/Europe 1 package - 0.09 BTC 2 packages - 0.12 BTC 3 packages - 0.15 BTC ========== Unfortunately, customers were being charged the following: Africa/Latin America/Russia/Middle East/Oceania 1 package - 0.16 BTC 2 packages - 0.32 BTC 3 packages - 0.48 BTC ————— Asia/Australia/North America/Europe 1 package - 0.16 BTC 2 packages - 0.32 BTC 3 packages - 0.48 BTC We have corrected this mistake, and will refund customers who paid the higher, incorrect fees . We are also looking into cheaper, but slower shipping options, and will offer them to customers who are OK with such options.

Excuse me, 0.16BTC for shipping? Please find a better shipping provider, because this is insane. 0.16BTC is currently $97 and there is no way in hell you can justify that. I have had insured packages (with Track&Trace) shipped to me, from the US, that were over 5KG for less than $50!
Hi, we use insured FedEx overnight to ship our coins, and that's lower than the current price they are charging for insured packages to your particular region.

BTCC today launched its fifth physical bitcoin product -- the V-Series Half Bitcoin. The V-Series Half Bitcoin is BTCC's most immaculate physical bitcoin collectible. We refined our minting process to create a coin with a smooth finish, superior lustre, and superbly defined legend and relief. The result is a meticulously crafted pure titanium physical bitcoin that is as pristine as the uncirculated bitcoins that it contains. The coin BTCC today introduced was made using a new manufacturing process focused on customer convenience. The Half Bitcoin is the first BTCC Mint collectible to contain a serial number. It is also the first BTCC Mint physical bitcoin to contain a scannable QR code that will make it easy to import each coin's private key into a bitcoin wallet. The Half Bitcoin is also the first BTCC collectible to measure 39 millimeters in diameter, the same size as US one-ounce Silver Rounds. At $330, however, the Half Bitcoin is worth more than 15 times the Silver Round's $20 cost. The obverse of the Half Bitcoin has a legend that reads "BTCC MINT," "HALF BITCOIN," "V Series," "2016," and "Titanium." The obverse also contains a relief containing the bitcoin symbol and the BTCC logo, which together represent the combined trustworthiness of bitcoin and BTCC -- the world's first and most successful cryptographic currency and the world's longest-running bitcoin exchange. The two symbols are encased by two laurels that indicate the ascendancy of bitcoin and BTCC's vision of a future in which everyone uses bitcoin and BTCC's services. The legend on the reverse of the coin reads "IN CRYPTO WE TRUST" and "500,000 BITS." It also contains three stars, which represent the generation number of the bitcoin block reward. The back of the coin also has a secure, tamper-evident hologram with a half bitcoin private key underneath it. The Half Bitcoin sells for 0.55 BTC on the BTCC Mint Store. Orders for the Half Bitcoin will open today, Monday, September 26th, 2016. Shipments will begin on Thursday, September 29th, 2016.

Very nice, I like the prize pool and hopefully I can participate!
We're glad you like it, submit a photo now to get one of our super-steep discounts that we're offering submitters. If you submit a photo, you'll also stand a chance to win one of three One Bitcoin coins that we're giving away in this contest. Almost forgot about this! Do we need to be in the picture though? I'd like to take a picture, but does it need to be of ourselves, or can it just be a picture with our collectible and a background? Hi, you can submit a photograph of you and your coin(s) or just a photo of the coins as you like.

Hi everyone, we're now opening the competition to any/all photos of Bitcoin Talk members with any of their collectibles. Post the photos in this thread to be one of three people who have a chance to win a One Bitcoin coin from BTCC Mint.
Does it still need to include a famous landmark of some kind? I went to some trouble the other day to get a really great shot of one of your coins by an old English castle It will be submitted.... soon™ Just anything you think is memorable or scenic would be great. And the coin you submit doesn't have to be a BTCC one!
