361  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: January 28, 2019, 02:01:24 PM
For those who:
1) Have coins/tokens inside Liqui Exchange
2) Did not visit the site and their email account associated in Liqui until now

Liqui Exchange is suspending their Trading Services. I suggest that you withdraw your balances as soon as possible.

Here's the message written in their website and email sent to the users:
Quote
Dear Users,

Recently, we were happy to announce the change in our policies. We gave you the right to decide whether you want to be with us in our Crypto Exchange journey by accepting the changes.

Much to our regret, after this step Liqui is no longer able to provide liquidity for the Users left. We also do not see any economic point in providing you with our services.

However, we do not want to return to where we were a month ago. Hence, we decided to close all accounts and stop providing our services. It broke our hearts to do that.

You will be able to withdraw your Digital Assets through our website within 30 days after this message was sent. If you did not withdraw delisted Digital Assets since we announced changes in our policies, you will also have another 30 days from the date this message is sent.

After 30 days we cannot guarantee that we will be maintaining our website. In this case, all withdrawals will be processed through our support @liqui.freshdesk.com until the last user store his assets with us. Note that our Terms of Use will apply until you have your more than zero balance in our wallets. If we do not provide services we cannot store your assets for free, so the fee will apply if you fail to withdraw in accordance with our Terms of Use.

We may be back soon. However, that depends on the market which has significantly changed since 2017.

We do not know what else to say but say thank you for supporting the cryptocurrency community and your faith in us.

We want to finish this message by the phrase of Marianne Williamson - "Every ending is a new beginning. Through the grace of God, we can always start again."

Your Liqui Team
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create fake IDs for KYC for airdrops on: January 26, 2019, 10:13:34 AM
Some will say that you should or that's okay, but imo sending fake ID's or documents, whether online or not is a fraudulent action, it's illegal. A friendly reminder, don't ever do that.

It is true that sending your real identification documents are risky and dangerous, so, if you don't trust the person or organization, just don't participate. That's what I can recommend. There are bounties and aordrops that don't require KYC, join there instead.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Amazon accept crypto if Bitcoin skyrocket again? on: January 26, 2019, 12:29:51 AM
What do you think, will Amazon start to accept Bitcoin as a payment method if its price rises to new-record values again (like in 2017)?
No. Obviously, price will not be the only basis. We knew that AMZ has considered the idea of accepting Bitcoin as a payment option before and it was regardless of the price.

I think people should adopt the use of cryptocurrencies first and companies will follow.

Let's say the number of AMZ customers who own and use crytocurrencies (esp. BTC) became higher and constantly growing, I think they can make a request to AMZ about accepting BTC. IMO most companies would like to know their customer's pov, the more customers who are in favour the higher chance of consideration.

Still, it's a good thing that Amazon adopt the technolgy, they use Blockchain on AWS.

366  Economy / Exchanges / Re: C-CEX.com Trusted, Secure & Friendly Exchange Since 2013. 200+ Alts,USD,Low Fees on: January 16, 2019, 01:18:33 PM
Didn't login for a long time. Now looks like they just deleted by account without any notification.

> Our support ticket queue is full. Please, come back in few hours.

They can't be serious.
If that "long time" was more than 6 months, then you cannot retrieve your account. It was also mentioned in their terms that they do not send notifications about that. I believe they should, but we can't do anything since they stated it there and by making an account, that means you agree. My account was deleted as well, fortunately I already got my coins before it happened.

9. Account and history records
We guarantee to display your detailed history of operations for last 3 months. All operations with age above 3 months can be archived and converted to consolidated records. We do not store activity records or any account data including transactions, history records and any wallet balances in case account was not accessed for more than 6 months. Please, note - we do not send any notification if you do not access your account for mentioned period of time prior of data deletion. We do not welcome consider an account spam multiple account registrations made by one customer. If we found such customer in registering multiple accounts - we reserve our right to delete all his accounts without compensation of possible balances. We do not send any notifications prior account deactivation because of expiration. Deactivated accounts including any existing wallet balances can not be restored. We reserve our right to ban any account suspected in fraud activity like attempts of fraud trading, deposits using 51% fork attack, ss ethereum token or any other type of attack attempts. No warning, explanation or any balance funds compensation in case of ban.
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 05, 2019, 05:17:19 PM
Your actions were the cause of your losses, but you shouldn't blame yourself. As a trader, you know that such thing might happen and there's a possibility that you will lose all of your investments.

I know that whenever a token/coin price went up and you sold at a lower price, most traders (if not all) think that "if only I waited and didn't sell yet, I should have gained more......." something like that or vice versa when you bought. I experienced that, but realized that thoughts like "if only" will just make you regret and blame yourself more which is not good. We have our own techniques in trading, but regardless of that, think carefully before buying/selling (decide the coin/token and the price to sell/buy) and be contented with the outcome (don't worry too much about the price being higher/lower after my orders were filled). That's what I do.

PS. I'm not that kind of trader that uses TA, signals etc. as the basis of my trading decision. I just go with the flow whenever the market is active.
368  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/pasting) here. Calling for Mod action: please permban on: January 04, 2019, 12:27:15 PM
Any chance my account can be released sir? I was trying to share the idea of Cryptomiso and Coincodecap with other users and it was all for good intention, I hope and pleasing that you will give me another chance and I swear I will not do it again.
I've done making an appeal, hoping that you will give me a chance.

Now you're breaking other rules. You're not allowed to post anywhere except your appeal thread. It doesn't look like you care about that second chance at all if you can't be bothered to read the rules even after being banned. Nobody in this thread can help you anyway. Wait for a moderator to respond in your appeal thread.
I guess the user wants to be cleared out from the problem of being banned and I don't think there's a second chances for those who get permanently banned, because there are some topics here which is related to the problem are not given a chance or just a temporary warning.
Who's "the user" you are talking about? d0flaming0the2nd?

Wasn't that account & the original account (d0flaming0) belong to you as well? In this post, imo, you did admit that the accounts linked/listed are yours. Instead of a second chance, you'll get all your alts banned too.
369  Other / Meta / Re: Temporary Banned Accounts on: January 04, 2019, 05:10:57 AM
But for some reason I have seen users still get banned even if they provided the link and summarized the post, I guess it really depends on the modes of this forum if they were going to consider the topic as well as the links provided.
As long as you provide the source/reference link from where the data came from it will not be considered as plagiarism. You should state that you summarized it from there.

Could you provide the username or post links of the users you are referring to?
For example this one, the topic was just layout or being summarized I guess just to share a little bit information to other users, the user didn't copy the whole information only just the important information, could it still be plagiarism?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg49019820#msg49019820
Copying a part or full info is not the issue. The point is he copied the data and didn't provide the source. That's plagiarism.

371  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LATOKEN on: December 29, 2018, 07:09:48 AM
Compared to other mainstream exchanges, this one is terrible. Prices are much higher, service is very slow and support staff are arrogant. They did me a huge favour by being so. I shifted my funds to another exchange and got 2x more crypto for the same price. Thank you LATOKEN. I can provide proof.
Good thing that you didn't encounter a withdrawal problem, there was someone in their thread who encountered an issue before.
You can update your main post to add the proof you're saying.

I just can't get it spin in my head! How come X2 at the same price!? can you give an example?
I think what he meant was the investment amount not literally the coin/token price. For example, he bought $500 worth of coins in latoken (let's say he got 1000 coins) and in another exchange, he bought the same coin with the same amount which is $500 and got 2000 coins. [correct me if I'm wrong OP]
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: i need suggestion on: December 29, 2018, 05:48:13 AM
I don't know what coin you want to list, but you can try in NovaExchange. They re-opened the exchange this month and started listing coins. Proceed in their listing page and answer the form:

373  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trying to Hack blockchain.info wallet info on: December 29, 2018, 04:54:08 AM
Though it wasn't about the airdrop, I'd like to share here the email I received since it's another attempt in hacking Blockchain.com wallets. I didn't bother downloading the attachment to see what's in there, obviously it's a phishing attempt considering the email address from where it came and the need of 12 word seed phrase.

374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stolen. Electrum exploit / phishing on: December 28, 2018, 01:31:10 PM
theymos posted about it too yesterday to warn Electrum users. The News/announcement is still there, above the main menu bar.
Quote
News: ♦ Users of Electrum and similar: ignore any messages you receive from Electrum, and do not follow any links within them. More info

Big problem that the error message pop out inside the official electrum wallet. Probably, there are people who will be deceived.
375  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Attempt by Mr.Soft on: December 24, 2018, 06:21:15 PM
My thread is clear, he tried to scam me and forum escrow is expensive and takes forever to organise, while bitify takes 2 minutes to make a listing and send it to the other party to make payment.
Idk if he's a scammer or not, but next time you do a trade you should put your feet in the shoes of the other person too. Since you both didn't know each other, he felt and thought the same way as you (unsure if the service/payment will be delivered). Having a trusted escrow involved would be the best solution in such cases (I doubt that it will take forever).
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNIFY [UNIFY] - THE NEXT GENERATION OF CROWDFUNDING [POS, LOW SUPPLY] on: December 23, 2018, 11:38:53 PM
Those who are still holding all the way till now have to face the fact that they've lost everything. I would suggest jumping onto Bitcoin Cash's End-of-Year rally while there's still time. Or Bitcoin SV.
Now promoting bitcoin cash? I've seen your previous post here in the thread before this one too and it's about the same. You've deleted it though.

Anyway, those who still hold until now didn't lose everything "yet". The coin is still available in exchanges and can be sold, although it's such a big loss if you sell with the price today.

Afaik, the team is working now on fixing the android wallet. No guarantee about the price, but there's still a chance that it will rise. Who knows what will happen in the future, right?
377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning. Be very careful with bitbay Exchange!! on: December 23, 2018, 03:58:33 PM
This was from bitbay FAQ:

Do I need to verify my account?

According to the terms of use, the account should be verified in order to obtain full functionality of the website. Full functionality means for example: the possibility to withdraw the funds from the account - both fiat and digital currencies, and to deposit fiat currencies on exchange.

Same case happened to someone, but in a different exchange. A friendly advice, next time you decided to sign up in an exchange (or in other sites), make sure to read the TOS or search atleast if they will require you to do KYC to use their full service before making a deposit.

For real? So they are still working  Huh Seeing a huge number of users complaining here (from the last few pages of the thread), what you said was a little bit surprising. I and most likely others too, thought that it was already an exit scam.

What was your problem that have been solved by the way?
379  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Alert live:techviem1 on: December 09, 2018, 11:58:53 AM
SkrillexLegit, he's the owner of that skype name and his forum account has already been tagged by a DT because of an open scam accusation. It's not the first time that he scammed someone, you can check his Trust page at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=926376 . Click Show Ratings under Untrusted feedback to see negative tags from other members too.

Hi, I have AGC $ 25 and I want bitcoins.
I only have time to chat in skype

live:techviem1

I not going first  i have goods feedbacks

You can't get your money back, but you can learn from this. If you want to buy or sell within the forum, demand the use of an escrow (a trusted one), plus don't forget to double check, do a research. Ex. Searching something like "techviem1 bitcointalk" on Google will lead to this thread : KNOWN SCAMMER: Francisco Carvajal (CasinoExpert, DavidXXXX, GoldenBuzzers...)
380  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: December 07, 2018, 02:33:20 PM
How can I join a signature bounty campaign? In the regulations here I find there is a restriction to the new. However, there are some campaigns that allow newbies to join, but I have tried without being able to participate.
Can only help me?
You need to buy Copper Membership if you want to be able to add a signature. Check out other info and direct link to buy here : Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images

In this forum, the rule related to up rank are clear. But is there any time when some one just look at your name and likes to give you merit?
They'll look at your post. If someone find it constructive, helpful, worth reading etc., then they might give you a merit.
