361  Economy / Economics / Re: How cash is becoming a thing of the past | DW Documentary (Banking documentary) on: December 29, 2018, 07:10:02 PM
Digital payments are just there to make things easier for us. It’s just like having your credit card and using it in purchasing stuff you need from any store instead making use of cash.
Now digital payments are seeming like an optional but in near future it may become as the only available payment methods. Just think about revolutions on payment options and make sure you are preparing yourself to face those revolutions.
Right, we must prepare ourselves to leave off cash system completely within our generation too. Because, in my country also government is emphasizing about not using cash for day-to-day life. Even we are not having enough infrastructure for having cashless society, our government has already started an initiative for adopting digital payment systems. I believe that all the digital payment system  users will end up in adopting bitcoin one day or another because when people want start valuing their privacy and freedom then they will definitely go for bitcoin systems.

End of cash based system has already started but we cannot expect a complete cash-free system in flash as it will take more time for every people to realize the importance of adopting digital system and having bitcoin kind of denationalized system.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in an ICO? on: December 29, 2018, 05:30:00 PM
The easiest way to invest in an ICO is by just visiting in their website and create your account wait until listed in whitelist. Participating or investing in ICO you need to submit KYC so they will approved you to buy their tokens.

Investing in ICO is not a difficult job and anyone can registered on their site and transfer ether and will get the tokens. The thing to take note of is that if the ico in which we are investing is worth investing or not. Most of the time, when the coins comes on exchanges they are way less than the ICO price. Cry
You are just talking about random ICO but here we are all concerning about filtering a very good and potential based ICO for gaining the maximum returns for our investment. An investment should be based on study and not just due to the availability of some opportunity.

Unfortunately people are making their investment into ICOs just for the reason of having another crypto-based opportunity and that is the reason most of the people here are not going for studying those ICOs, they just believe that all the coins and tokens may perform similar to bitcoin in getting them multiple returns. Only time may prove how accurate they are with their investments and predictions. But, if you take time to analyse then you will be right always with your predictions and investments.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best investment strategies ? on: December 29, 2018, 10:51:25 AM
I wouldn't say the legendary advise of "buy low and sell high".

Yes it is easy to understand that every time we buy, we should consider the lowest price and in able to take profit, we must sell at higher price. The strategy that I've been doing is focus on few coins and look at their charts, if there's a movement to their prices I'm riding it.
This is not easy to buy low and sell high. Because, you cannot be sure that low prices are available for entering-in. Even if you are having some strategy to make sure that you are getting into possible lower prices, this market is continuously falling hence your strategy may not be right all the times. Strategies are easier to make but not working as we are expecting in real time markets. But, when will be gaining experience how to tackle different market conditions then I believe with strategies we can easily find good profits at the end of the day.

I'm just giving priority for my analysis rather than any attractive promotions for one asset. Now I am studying what are the coins will be having future so that I can invest right now at cheaper prices.
I must say that you are doing how professional traders are always emphasizing. I am also preferring to go for having my own analysis but my hectic schedules are not allowing me. It would be always better to have our own strategy rather than depending on what someone from this forum will be suggesting.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why do you participant in Airdrops? on: December 29, 2018, 10:21:53 AM
Many of us participate in the airdrops because we want some free tokens without doing hard way, so they join with the project and expect to get much of amount.
That is the reason, devs of those airdrop based campaign also not bothering about the future of their project along with not taking any consideration of airdrop participants' importance. Yes, airdrop is meant for free tokens without any big hard work but at the same time, many airdrops are being conducted with minimum requirements like joining telegram channels and fulfilling few other social media based tasks.

Airdrops are another way of scam in recent times. Yes, I may sound a little bit harsh but that is the reality. Because, I am also not finding any good rewards from airdrops I have participated. Just full of waste of time.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It might not be easy, you just have to let go on: December 28, 2018, 12:02:25 PM
When you begin to see motivational thread such as this one, you should know bear market is still very much around. The cryptocurrency is not for the simple minded, you have to be tough and principled!
That must be the power of this community to motivate when you really need that kind of suggestions/advice. Investment in cryptocurrency is profitable when you are enough skilled on choosing the right coin. But, most of the people here are making profits by holding in long-term by choosing highly reputed coins alone.

We must read how people are doing when they are sharing their experience here so that we can learn them big lessons from their discussion to make use in our investment opportunity in real time. I believe everyone must had a very bitter experience in 2019 due to the heavy downfall of markets. But, we need to understand that we cannot do anything about that as it is just part of every market. All we need to do is just keep our passion up and then looking for another good opportunity to enter again.

366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands? on: December 28, 2018, 11:31:24 AM
I think it is impossible to have one cryptocurrency. We do not have one currency for whole world. Almost each country has its own currency. But on the other side thousands are not needed. In my opinion only TOP 50 - 100 will remain with real use.
But, bitcoin was created with the purpose of having one currency for the entire world. I agree there will be more room for having more number of coins in the future.

But, definitely the currently top 100 coins may not finding its survival in coming future as most of them are not having any unique features but serving same repeated features. When more number of coins are available with same features, I guess most of them will not finding its survival.
Yes. I guess there will be some 50 coins will be securing their future but most of the coins in those 50 yet to be introduced. I mean we still need more new innovations in this crypto space. Only such new innovations based coins will be finding its future. But honestly most people are preferring to have very few coins, if you consider this case then I am afraid we may have less than 10 coins in future.

bitcoin was created with the purpose of having one currency for the entire world. I agree there will be more room for having more number of coins in the future.
You mean bitcoin was created similar to gold which is the globally accepted momentary payment system as of now. I agree with you. But, I believe for the total population of this world there will be a need of having multiple payment system as just one will not be enough to cover all the people. That is the reason basically there are a lot of chances for more altcoin to find its survival. But, we cannot be sure all the coins now existing will be surviving. Most of them may not. But, new innovative coins with the actual use in real life will definitely coexist along with bitcoins.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: December 28, 2018, 10:49:25 AM
I think that you definitely can not fix your loss because it would be very wrong
Recovering losses is highly depending on one particular asset. Because, all the coins are not recovering when the trend is reversing. But we will get chances to recover our losses with a new capital and investing into right coins like bitcoin. I mean we do not need to be frustrated for one time losses as life is not ending here and there are a lot of other opportunities are available everywhere all the times.
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading or Online betting? 2k Usd budget. on: December 27, 2018, 06:51:16 AM
Newbee here. Please guide me.

Which is more profitable in the long run, Crypto trading or online betting ?
How do you think that gambling will be something benefitting? Have you done it before, have you been into online gambling before, especially gambling on a crypto site? Most people u have seen gamble with their money usually end up regretting it. I do know one person that managed to get a win in gambling, but calculating how much he spent so far and what he won at last it was just a waste of his time. I don’t mean to upset the gamblers here, but it’s a waste of time.

diversification of savings, investments and risks is the basis for successful investment.
However it's quiet hard when start capital is very small.
But, I do not think it will be hard for the capital of 2k dollars for the OP's case. Definitely anyone could go for full fledged diversification with that capital to ensure some decent profits even in short term itself. In long term, 2k dollars may grow to 4k dollars too if the right opportunities are identified.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money with bitcoin price dropping? on: December 27, 2018, 06:12:56 AM
I heard in stocks, this is called shorting.  But i read if you short, you could lose a huge amount of money.  Could you do this with bitcoin?  Example my thoughts were hey its the holidays, so most likely ppl will withdraw money and thus btc drops.  So i figure around now, btc price would drop.

Some exchanges are providing the features of shorting. But, I believe anyone can go for make use of downfall market by trading with stable-coins. Yes, all you need to convert your bitcoin into a stable coin when you will be predicting market is going to fall down and when you predict market is going to stop its downfall or it is going to bounce back then that is the time for buying bitcoins back. As simple as any other trading.

But what I feel is, making money when prices are dropping is too difficult rather than make use of those falling down by entering for the purpose of holding for long a period. We must need to keep on buying on every dips so that we can make sure we will be having better average-buy prices.
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should i trade on this market ? on: December 26, 2018, 06:39:02 PM
Should i trade on crypton-wallet.com. I have to deposit 0.015 btc to verify my account and start to trade on this market. Have anyone withraded from this market? Pls give me a feedback
My friend deposited around 0.5 btc but he cannot withdraw. I have to know that anyone else who can withdraw btc from this site and help my friend in withdrawal
- When your friend was unable to withdraw his 0.5 BTC then why you spent 0.015 BTC and that too for the reason of verifying account ? Have you ever heard that verification needs fee ?

- Why you did not ask feedback about this services once after your friend was facing problems as you are in to this forum from last June but after spending 0.015 BTC ?

- I am just curious how your friend and you came to know about this services ?

(I am just trying to figure out how true that OP and his incident. I suspect about paid promotion of that services in the name of asking such feedback/doubts).
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: December 25, 2018, 11:41:51 AM
There is a saying that the road to success is not always smooth. This is just exactly what crypto inves tment portrays. In the business of crypto, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The fact that there is a very high level of dip in crypto market currently is not enough reason to conclude that an end has come to crypto.I know that the bearish market situation at present  in the crypto world would  make many crypto lovers to be having a second thought of relinquishing their ardent commitment to crypto investment since no tangible profit is forthcoming but honestly, that is not the best option. What crypto is going through now is just a bend and not the end . In a short while from now, things will amend for better .This is not yet the end for crypto but rather a bend for something better.
Anyone who is not ready to take the risk is not ready to a achieve anything from cryptocurrency yet. Some people don’t want to take any risk, they just want the money to come easy, that’s why a lot of people here doesn’t know that there are risks involved in cryptocurrency.

They think it is the end when they experience the slightest drop in price. The market is volatile and if you want to make any profit you should get ready to hold for a long term and continue with the risk until something comes out of it.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: December 25, 2018, 11:03:46 AM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

It’s not a new thing, people sell their coins everyday. But I do have some altcoins that I don’t plan on selling soon, and of course it all depends on when you bought the coins or when you got them from a bounty.

Some people don’t really like keeping coins from a bounty because they believe they always turn shit coins at last, so whenever they get it they will quickly exchange it for another coin, mostly for ETH. I have some ETH and I don’t think I’m going to sell them anytime soon cause I expect the price to rise soon.

374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a year of profit making, but for investments on: November 22, 2018, 10:59:17 AM
2018 is indeed very good for long-term investment. But everyone certainly wants to get possible benefits every day. This is not good for short-term investments. If you are a long-term investment maybe 2018 this is the right one.
Like I recently said in one of my posts that there is a time for everything, a time to be investing and a time to be making profit. When a market is down like this, it is obviously a time any smart person should be investing as I believe anyone who is missing out on this moment now is actually going to be missing out on a lot of things in the long run and they are they set of people that usually join FOMO.

Anyone who is not even a trader should not be looking forward to short term investment, as an investor, what you should be looking at now is accumulating for the long term because there is nothing better than seeing yourself in the light of a smart investor in the long run.
375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangers of a HODL’er: on: November 22, 2018, 09:19:34 AM

I would say that it all depends on your aproach - if it's an investment (long term) then hodling and adding up at lower prices is ok. If you trade though, it just makes absolutely no sense to hodl when you could be shorting for example and increasing the amount of coins you'll have by the end of the day.

Thing is trading is tough
That is it! Your approach to things matter when it comes to anything or investment. A lot of people came with the approach of the long term and the potential they stand to gain knowing that this market is still new and there is a huge chance for it to grow with mass adoption.

Nonetheless, at the same time, a lot of people came into this space with some promises of getting rich overnight and they are now stuck in between the deep blue sea (their mind) and the red sea (the market), with confusion and fear all over them. That is what happens when you hit a market without a plan and with a wrong mentality.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Minor Crypto Exchange Pulls Off Exit Scam, Steals All User Funds on: November 19, 2018, 10:10:23 AM
A small Canada-based crypto exchange called MapleChange and now the Pure Bit from South Korea has pulled off an exit scam, disappearing with user funds all in one month. The disappearance of MapleChange and Pure Bit with user funds has led experts in the sector to encourage crypto investors to prevent the utilization of minor exchanges with no reputation and cold wallets that accurately represent their holdings.

What is the motive behind all these minor exchanges, anyway?

But the question is, MapleChange or at least the people behind that exchanges can't hide because their real identify is all over the net. So as much as they wanted to exit scam, sooner or later they will be caught by the authorities. As for the motives, I can't say, the only thing I seen is that perhaps they don't have the funds to liquidate their customers so its better to hide and run from them.

If they will be caught then they could easily tell the authorities that they were a victim of hackers that they are not the one who steal the people assets but the hacker themselves do the job like the other exchanges common reason. The main reason of this stealing is of course to steal the money that we should not trust exchanges of keeping our assets to their wallets so hopefully this will serve warning to the other crypto users out there.
Usually in most cases, that is something that basically could happen, but does not mean they will have to suffer for it since they will have to explain why they never followed standard safety protocols when it comes to the safety of assets. Also, let's just assume from the onset they have been using their real faces online, and not just some random faces.

It is nothing new, as we have seen it in most ICO projects before and these days, some people don't even tend to verify the faces behind the small exchanges they are even using, and being a small exchange with no reputation, I still wonder why people tend to find themselves in these shoes of using them. Most times, I feel people who are gullible enough are always the cause of their own problems honestly.
377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: November 16, 2018, 07:28:43 AM
sometimes crypto trading is fun when you get profit and can be made entertainment, but if you get a long loss this is certainly not entertainment but the risk that must be faced by each individual who trades crypto on the market.
Crypto trading can only be considered fun when you see yourself doing things right and you are sticking with a strategy. Usually, you would not expect someone who is just busy making wrong calls, trading with emotions, losing on every trade and seeing trade as a game of luck to consider it as fun because losing is never fun.

However, when you are having winning trades more than losing trades, and even in your losing trades, you know how to always manage the risks, knowing that in most ways, it is unavoidable, there is no way you will not be seeing yourself making loads of profit over time, and that is what I classify as fun.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan Approves Self-Regulation for Cryptocurrency Industry on: November 15, 2018, 08:23:53 AM
The OP is referring to this news like 3 weeks ago, Japanese Financial Services Authority Approves Self-Regulation for Crypto. We all know that Japanese culture is very different specially in terms of discipline. So I'm not surprised that local Japanese trading platforms has given the go signal to self-police themselves. Just look at how they re-acted to two most recent hacks, Crypto Exchange Zaif Reveals Customer Compensation Plan after $60 Million Hack and Coincheck Completes $430 Million Customer Refund. So you see they really have this discipline and they honour everything because of their culture. As compare to a recent Canadian exchange hack, MapleChange Supposedly Hacked, Owner Disappears (With Multiple Traces), LOL. I'm not really sure if we can witness this kind of stance on other so called pro-crypto countries though. It will be good if they follow self-regulatory, so let's see how it pans out in the future though.
Discipline! I like that!! Following a self-regulatory plan has always helped honestly and it has a lot of advantages than disadvantages. For what it is worth though, we have seen in so many ways how the market has really been growing in this region due to the fact that they did not just allow it, but for the fact that they are doing everything possible to make it work.

It is a good way to set the ball rolling for others to see how things should get done which I believe as time goes on; Japan will be more of a case study when it comes to the adoption of cryptocurrency and of course, this will always give Japan the edge when it comes to being early adopters.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan’s Mitsubishi Bank Partners with Brazilian Banco Bradesco to Test RippleNet on: November 13, 2018, 10:49:25 AM
Ripple has been really working to involve banks and corporations into crypto, that has been their only goal, just make sure to get out there and get people with money to be interested in crypto but more importantly ripple.

I understand they want to be a great company and they want their out there and quickest way is to get famous people and rich folks to talk about it because than it will trickle down quicker but I honestly don't think they can do any better than Ashton Kutcher donating 4 million of ripples money to Ellen on a tv show, that is the highest type of advertisement you can make that will reach to everyone, you have one celebrity out there promoting it, the other celebrity crying with joy on the 4 million and you have the name ripple written GIANTly at the back.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Which industries don't need blockchain? on: November 13, 2018, 06:19:10 AM
Probably cleaning ? Most repair shop type business ? I mean if you really work for it than you can implement blockchain into anything you want, as long as anyone uses a computer for their business than they can use blockchain as well but if you mean daily tasks that doesn't require blockchain than the ideal examples would be cleaning and repair shops.

When you are cleaning you do not need any sort of blockchain, you just clean the dirty places and thats it, however if you really want to than you can make a blockchain based software for cleaning companies to keep track of who cleaned where and when type stuff.

Car repairing doesn't require blockchain at all, you change the oil, you fix the tires, you change the brakes and what not but if you really wanted to you can make a software to keep track of which cars were repaired on which parts and so forth.
