Thanks to all of you that came and sorry I couldn't spend more time with everyone. I know a few of you were there and didn't get a chance to meet you. Here is everyone that showed up. We will do it again!!! IMO because of certain links and other personal accounts that have been privately messaged to me, I believe with low-to-medium confidence that Pirate is the guy on the far right in this pic. I also believe this could be a fake pic, maybe from a few years ago or something he just posted for lulz. Would love to hear Goat / BurtW or anyone else that claimed to have been at this meetup to confirm. I won't deny that. Will the real Trev Shavers please stand up?

Lovely treatment to a creditor. Isn't this, together with bitlane's PMs, grounds for a scammer tag? What a cunt. Easily. Not that it will matter though.

I really hope pirate ends up writing a Currin Trading-style full disclosure a couple months down the line. It would put so many people in their place

it bothers me that someone would use an uncle scrooge avatar and in anyway support pirate and his business practices/model.
the real uncle scrooge would laugh at the thought of parting with his money in such a haphazardly way.
change it
lol agreed

seriously kids, get fucked on this one. You were all so arrogant to the bitter end.
I'd say the fact that you're still trolling about it, long past the time when anyone can make a deposit or withdrawal on their own proves your own arrogance. Its not like you can 'warn' anyone off. You're just trolling for your own amusement. Seriously why do you create new threads and put your name in the title every time ? I find it egotistical and creepy when someone speaks about themselves in the third person all the time. Really? I think it's hilarious

All,
GPUmax pays out on a almost daily basis - there is nothing to withdraw - it is a "manual" system.
Also, with GPUmax, you only accrue BTC when they are leasing your shares - which has been well under 50% of the time - so the shares are proxied to the "offline" pool of our choosing. We then get payment from that offline pool.
Said differently, GPUmax is currently accounting for less than 30% of my daily mining income. Additionally, I was paid yesterday from GPUmax (as were all miners).
Also, please note, that we have hashing power far in excess of the 54.7 Gh/s of bonds sold. Personally, I have added 25 Gh/s recently and know that hashking and PatrickHarnett have added to their operations since their involvement in YABMC.
I hope this eases some of your concerns.
Best,
JW
Great. Thanks for the clarification!

Consider this: if it turns out that Matt is colluding with pirate would being labelled a scammer by these guys actually hold any weight? Matt's bet is predicated on his reputation in the bitcoin community.
And consider this: do all the bettors here value their rep more than their bets? Theoretically it could be all a matrix of scams and bluffs. Maybe what we call reality is just that. Username makes post.

Another option open to him is to wait until friday, by which time it will be widely accepted by all but the most deluded of his investors that he won't be paying out. Then buy back a large portion of his liabilities for a fraction of their worth (possibly using an alternate identity), and then pay out the rest. In which case he would not technically have defaulted.
I don't really think the second option [the one explained above] will happen. But I am so dumbfounded by the large mass of supporters (some of whom claim to not be investors) who religously maintain he will pay out, even in the face of mounting evidence that he won't, that I am forced to try and come up with plausible scenarios where he doesn't default. Assuming it's not a scam... this is the most interesting and entertaining contribution I've read in the past few days. People who are still betting against a default probably have exactly this plan in mind. Pirate waits as long as possible so he can buy back his own liabilities cheaply. Then he starts a few payments to initiate another crash and finally buys coins to repay investors. I couldn't come up with a better scheme, it's brilliant. And if he pulls THIS through, he's earned the Balls-of-Steel-Award, no questions asked. This is still a default... buying your own liabilities on the open market at a discount is the same thing as repaying debts with a haircut (a default).

What has the projected increase in difficulty been since the date of issue? Are you saying that the change in value is due to difficulty changes? As difficulty increases the payout of 1Mh decreases. The rise in difficulty has been large with the recent BTCUSD rally.

What is your take on the security of GPUMAX given the recent developments re. pirateat40?
Still not following... Security of GPUmax in what sense? Do you have coins in GPUmax or are they always withdrawn instantly?

people don't seem to realize that pirate is in control of gpumax as well...
I don't think this saga ends with BTCST

What do people estimate is the total mining power of GPUMAX?
Think about this potential attack...
Accept deposits through BTCST Pay out deposits as 110% PPS to miners in GPUMAX, gradually increasing mining capacity Gain 51% of capacity Destroy bitcoin

Does YABMC use GPUMAX?
Yes, we use GPUMAX... ruh roh
