BITMAIN WILL NOT PAY RANSOM!!!

That is what I am sayng Calm down dude
Peace
362  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 23, 2015, 05:14:00 PM
Yea, its working now only because they took that CloudFlare shit off its about time !

Or just because D D 4 B C realized that he will not earn any money from Chinese brothers Grin
And all further D D 4 B C ransom efforts will lead to direct money loss for him Wink
How about it D D 4 B C?

Or they paid him........
Not the case I think. If I was in his shoes and I was paid I would come for more....that is how blackmailing works

364  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 23, 2015, 10:50:27 AM

2 blocks in there with no transactions ...............

Edit:
For those 2 blocks (348622 and 348756) in both cases there was more than 70k of available transactions in default bitcoind (0.9.3)

@ Kano: Can you explain to a noob what this means & how it can happen? Thanks  Wink
In short
That means that Antpool is buggy
How can that happen
1. On purpose
2. Because it is buggy
3. 1 and 2  Smiley

They refuse to relay transactions that is all
365  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 22, 2015, 06:35:39 AM
Do not forget the bandwith dude. Yo need to have a lot of it Smiley then most fancy firewall equipment does not work when your wire is filled with crap Grin it just get stuck and your server is a dead meet. No one can reach it
366  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 22, 2015, 05:51:22 AM
TTravis,
Please act as IT Security consultant, not like my literature high school teacher.
Just to remind you that so called more secure network whatever it means do cost a huge amount of money
We all will see what is about to happen.
367  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 21, 2015, 01:05:45 PM
Bitmain is incapable of mitigating the attack and yet they refuse to pay me. And since I won't give up, this lasts so long.

If they paid me 10 BTC when I asked, their customers/miners wouldn't be affected at all, but instead they chose to send 10 BTC to convicted criminal Roger Ver, like that sissyboy from Bitalo before them...
Hey Bad Boy,
I am wandering how much do you pay to hire the bandwidth and zombie hosts?

Frankly speaking Bitmain will not give you a single BTC because he just does not care about folks  here if they will use his pool or not. It is just a little extra profit for him which is not 10 BTC for sure. Paying you means direct loss for him! Besides once blackmailed there is no guarantee that you would not come back for more.

And you gonna loose all of your money invested from no on. Trust me on that Grin Chinese are famous with collecting money not giving them away Wink

The question still remains why folks here are so desperate to mine at bitmain pool?
The decentralization propaganda is dead already! Does the  marketing trick 0% fee pool stil works for you folks? My first lesson in the high school was: THERE IS NO SUCH THING LIKE A FREE LUNCH! As far as i am aware BITMAIN is not synonym for charity. Or you just want steady and regular payouts? or What? Or you do believe that
your ants are hashing faster here which maximizes your profits? Or you like the fancy web backend?
Come on, wake up and think! That is the only thing i can say. Use your heads.
There are a plenty of other alternatives even operated by Chinese for the mandarin fans.
368  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 20, 2015, 03:55:39 PM
I do not know how much money BITMAIN is making from home miners as long as it is 0% a free pool Wink
But in all cases if D D 4 B C pays 1 BTC to hire ddos zombies or bandwidth or whatever he is doing for example, BITMAIN need to spent at least 10 BTC (bandwidth, firewall machines and so on) to try to stop it.
Does it worth it?
No of course.
As i see things Antpool will stay semi closed place for the hashnest and big players until D D 4 B C gives up. D D 4 B C tryes to make some money and he will give up when he sees that there is no ROI. How long it will take depends from D D 4 B C and his pocket.
But in order for ddos to succeed one Needs a lot of bandwith comming from all over the world
Simple as that
369  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Pool Manager Fraud? on: March 18, 2015, 07:18:02 PM
I will avoid at any cost a Antpool
My friend uses AntPool, but doesn't truest Eligius for some reason…
As I said it is up to you to decide.....
That is all I can say....
All of the above is just my personal opinion.
Not mentioning a particular pool in my list does just means I have no impressions from pool and I have not used it.but once again important part is what to avoid in my oppinion  Wink
Good luck to you
370  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] TBDice.org solo pool for Technobit DICE owners/testnet.tbdice.org pool on: March 18, 2015, 06:47:59 PM
There is another test miner for past few days with a block already. Will you be so kind to tell us why you need test coins as long you got a block already?
The guy before you mined 10+ blocks. I am wandering why....a?
10x
371  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Pool Manager Fraud? on: March 18, 2015, 06:37:53 PM
I can recomend following pools the order is random
Bitminter
Kano
Btcguild

Because I trust the people who run the pools. That is a personal opinion of course

I will avoid at any cost a Antpool,  f2pool and so on. I am talking about all CHINESE pools in general

If you feel brave you can go solo take all or nothing Wink you got the jar and the honey if you are lucky

P2pool is ok also but you will face "jar" unrelated issues there....

What a year....
Happy birthday to you and your team...!
373  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 18, 2015, 04:55:09 AM
Would have been cheaper to pay them off.  Huh

Give them the 10 BTC bounty so we can all go back to making money.  Undecided

Are you really that ignorant to think that's how it works?  They're spending money to ddos attack, if you start paying them why would they stop?  Remind me to never hire you to be my hostage negotiator.
I am wandering what makes you think that they are spending money?
I do agree that paying ransom is not the solution but ....spending money....it sounds like you have internal info or what?

Computers cost money, electricity costs money, internet access costs money, people's time costs money.  All of those things are required for ddos attacks, how did you think it was done?
Aha I thought you were talking about some extra costs. Any way running a pool costs money for sure.
Thank you for the clarification.
374  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Stratum protocol discussion on: March 17, 2015, 07:48:12 PM
Luke,
Do you realy think that redirecting a miner after first share will "hide or protect" given server?
Do not get me wrong but in 99% of cases when bad boys know their shit you can not do much about it.
Your ISp is the one who shall take care. And depending how hard ddos is it is not an easy task at all....
It's what he was asking for. And quite often, the bad boys do not know their stuff. Smiley
Yeah... That is what can safe us Cheesy

Do not get me wrong but in 99% of cases when bad boys know their shit and have the resources required you can not do much about it.

377  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Stratum protocol discussion on: March 17, 2015, 06:38:54 PM
The only two things which can stop ddos are:

1. Big pipe  Wink if bad boys have 1g connection your ISP should have at least 2gig as an example
2. Expensive machines to filter out ddos sitting  in front of the target, taking the fire and capable of doing that - CPU ram and so on
3. Both 1 and 2 Cheesy

Ports and protocols handshakes do not have anything  in common especially when it is UDP  flood. As long as UDP is stateless bad boys just fill your connection with crap

When bad  boys are clever and if they have the appropriate resources available it is very very hard to stop them

The appropriate resources do cost  money. so called "fix" happens when:
1. They are out of money and are not able to "rent" big enough resource to attack
2. They are filtered out in the first hop. Works only when they are using ip's which are not random. In most cases the attack is performed from infected PC's al over the world
378  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 16, 2015, 03:54:38 PM
wtf is going on with all pools.
Antpool is under DDOS maybe more than a week, Eligius is down too, last week ghash was the victim where the f*ck we can mine normal.
Choose smaller pool that is the answer.
