I bet they won't reveal this yet. I wouldn't reveal. Near all buyers don't care and the competitors could have an edge.

6058 shares is for 1 minirig. (...) On another note, I will be exchanging BFLS shares for BFLS.RIG shares for anyone that wants to convert on a 1:1 basis.
I thought the 1:1 ratio was a bit unfair for BFLS assets owners, but we could live with it. However: BFLS and BFLS.RIG will be combined into one payment, and BFLS "shares" will be converted into BFLS.RIG "shares" at a rate of 1.21:1, so for every 1.21 "shares" of BFLS you own, you will get 1 "share" of BFLS.RIG - this is because the monetary value of BFLS.RIG is slightly more than BFLS.
If my math is right, the above ratio is even more unfair than 1:1. Why 1.21? Is it ($600/200) / ($15000/6058) = 1.2116 ? But it is in opposite direction: 1 BFLS = 1.2116 BFLS.RIG Precisely: 1 single worth of $599 gives 200 BFLS shares. One BFLS equals to $599/200 = $2.995 1 minirig worth of $15295 gives 6058 BFLS.RIG shares. One BFLS.RIG equals to $15295/6058 = $2.52476... So the monetary value of BFLS.RIG is slightly less than BFLS, not "more than". In effect: 1 BFLS = 1.186251 BFLS.RIG Or: 0.843 BFLS = 1 BFLS.RIG, so the ratio should be 0.843:1 Maybe I didn't take into account something important, so correct me, please.

Hmm, Viceroy, why are you asking a loan for the plants while trying to put similar amount of money to BFL rigs? We are seeking a total of $1.5 million dollars over the next three years with an initial need for $350,000 with which we will begin to build a 15,000 sq ft production facility. We are seeking 1-7 individuals to lend $50,000-$350,000 at an interest rate of 20%.
I'll pay you $35,000 for one ASIC that meets the specs BFL put out for the ASIC SC, that's a 116% return in one day.
I'll up the ante... I'll pay $1,000,000 for 30 Butterfly BitForce Super Computers. That should be plenty of incentive.
I challenge each and every one of you ... if you can deliver on this offer let me know, I'd LOVE to pay the bounty.

Inaba, you didn't get my PMs (still), didn't get PM from a guy with a (dubious) million dollar offer, so it could be the same with a private answer from this BitLC guy. I know you are a bit flooded with messages, but it look like some of them never get to you. Maybe PM over some size are filtered out.

Discussing the Jalapeno would be better at "First Look at BFL's ASIC Hardware" thread, but I have a vague impression the nominating is finished, so no one shall protest when we derail this thread a bit. Single SC: 40 GH/s per 8 chips gives 5 GH/s per chip. There will be a radiator (there are two holes for it) and assuredly a fan. Jalapeno: 3.5 GH/s means probably one underclocked chip with simplified radiator (transferring the heat to the top of the case) and no fan. The temperature will be greater (especially with additional heater powered on) so the underclocking is a must. It makes sense, doesn't it? (I imagine all these future threads about how to overlock a Jalapeno while the heater is off... )

The following is quoted to show the time stamp only. (...)
If I did the math correctly, I'm looking at it all being done in 24 seconds.
Apart of 24 seconds being quite enough to write and send a comment in another window, you are comparing time of your time zone (which you see at the forum page) with the time of Inaba's time zone (shown at the chat log). Ridiculous.

When a fool makes something not so foolish (like putting obvious BS at off-topic thread), you have to know it is only a mistake which he will correct gladly soon.

12V 375A - simply a welder machine. BTW: Let people see Inaba buys such a GPU... Lo and behold, he himself don't believe in ASICs...

Josh, you have been pinned down! He'd found your name... nearly... Three letters are exact, the rest quite near... alphabetically... How he guessed JWepman is Josh, not John or Jeremy? And will BitForce LLC sue BF Labs for using their name for the product? Wonders, wonders... But to be honest, I appreciate posting this all as off-topic.

It is known to customers of BFL, who communicate by e-mail, because Josh answers with his full name. If you don't know it you probably are not a customer.

Oh, and I'll be posting only positive things about Butterfly Labs from now on. Hey elux, how it is with your own credibility then?

Unless I'm mistaken (...) Phinnaeus Gage has no public records or anything to prove he's a real world human. To copy and paste a bunch of false statements without verifying them is not a way the homo sapiens acts. As u can see, it was proven it is bot. May we ask mods to ban bots from the forum?

It looks like all products use their own proprietary mining software that BFL wrote. With such a custom interface on such a custom chip, I bet it'd take months for anyone to write an alternate mining software but they'd have no reason to. So who says their software isn't rigged to wait 2 months post-release then steal your wallet file if it's not encrypted? Or steal your miner account pass which may be the same as your pool account pass? Or kidnap all your "best of" lolcat photos and hold them hostage! Or install a browser plugin that tries to sell you group lottery ticket pool buy-ins? (Too soon? Hell no, lol)
You are either incredibly ignorant or a liar. There was so many posts about the access to BFL's ASIC devices for the developers of different mining software. It works, the latest version of BFGminer, for instance, is being prepared for the new devices:

Hey, Phinnaeus Gage, do most of your earlier "findings" are just similar fabrications? Don't you think someone can take it seriously?

In another thread franky1 has shown he didn't differentiate processor (device) from CPU/GPU (chip), he didn't differentiate boards and chips, he didn't know the FPGA chips are bought and programmed by miner device producers, not designed and made by them. So, his "nailing" is quite worthless.

He is mining on behalf of other people who are planning to upgrade and elected not to have their units shipped to them, but instead have Josh mine for them. This saves them the time lag between shipping the old units back and receiving ASICs, as well as shipment-back costs.
So they are already receiving ppls trade-ins while they have yet to ship a single ASIC? No. They (BFL) will receive these trade-ins not earlier than in day when Inaba (datacenter operator) transport them to BFL office. It was organized near two months before Inaba was employed by BFL. Now he continues his earlier duties along with helping BFL as BFL_Josh.

It is better to read more threads of the forum and cry less here. For many months Inaba operates a pool of FPGA Singles in which he has 20% GLBSE shares (or less, I don't know). It was advertised here at the beginning of April. From that time the pool has grown quite a bit because of people who had given their fresh new equipment to temporary hosting by Inaba (as he operates a data center) to save on shipment when upgrading. An offer of temporary hosting (because of popular request) was here at the beginning of July. So now a group of minirigs and a bunch of singles belonging to different people works together at Inaba datacenter. Directing this group to different mining pools causes a performance hops. The sig shows only the hashing made at EMC. When all mine at EMC the sig shows 480 GH/s, when only a half - 240, when all mine elsewhere - 0 GH/s (you could see the last value in past weeks).

"Sonny" (the convicted programmer, under probe now) is not the same as "Chris" (who registered BFL in Wyoming), so why are you writing "head of BFL is"?
