We have an awesome grocery store here that sells 8 packs of Sylvania bulbs for a buck. So I can easily stock up for a great price.
They also sell their brand of LED lighting for $10 a pop (insanely cheap). Still too expensive, IMHO.

Done two transfers since then, both have it my Dwolla account within an hour. Dwolla deposits seems to be reaching my bank the next morning too.

The fee of 4% is nuts...
You're really not going to find a way to currently get it any cheaper than that with the small amount you're looking to buy. Unless you want to wait a week for a Dwolla -> Mt.Gox transfer. But then, you can easily lose more than 4% in the exchange rate fluxuation in that time period.

Seeing pictures is on thing, feeling them is another.

If you've ever experienced a lucid dream, you would more likely believe that reality is a governed projection of conciseness. It feels real when your connected/tuned to the same level of conciseness. Who knows, we may be traveling between multiple levels of conciseness all the time without even realizing it.
You wrote "conciseness" three times. If you're a computing simulation, there's a bug. If it's a bug, then you're just part of the self-healing ring topology.

uhhhhhhh...you guys know what happens to civilizations that ask this question right?
They win the game, then get to play a whole new one.

Withdrew about $45 to Dwolla this afternoon, and it actually showed up an hour later! Fully expected to be waiting a week like last time...

Go to Walmart and fill out the blue form. Faster then using that damned phone, them wanting my ID, and dealing with clueless clerks.

lots of opportunity in smuggling bootleg video cards
My first thought, lol. Silk Road is going to need a new section...

Too many eyes looking at things is going to crash the system. Only enough computing power to observe so much at a time.

I have a fun little challenge, to anybody who questions the existence of soul.
Get a mirror. Stare directly into the center of your eye, either one or both. Look at it for 30 seconds, without looking away, without blinking. Just stare in the very center, the origin of your pupil. Go for longer, if you can.
Try it for yourself.

... Still, Gox chugs along through these problems with no apparent loss in steam.
Except for the lengthy delays in processing withdrawals. I can't afford to use them anymore.

I'm not scared of taxes, I just want to be able to choose to self-insure, pick which charity I give out, and pay things that are necessary to function in my life as the need arises.
Some people don't want the hassle of making all those decisions. I don't understand why they hire enforcers who point guns at me when I don't want to join their "union". Who taught them to be so mean to their neighbors?

You know, if I got into a situation like this (assuming the regulators are up his ass and he's not pulling some shady bullshit) and was faced with the threat of government force...I would risk my personal safety and just refund people no matter what. The depositors did not enter into a contract with GLBSE in the way he is now trying to force them to.
The most of losses will be from the devaluation of the shares to about zero (I wonder how they will be traded if at all). And Nefario probably cannot refund nowhere near the whole GLBSE capitalization. I'm really just talking about any BTC currently held by him that is in limbo. While I understand that not being able to trade something on an exchange can lower it's value drastically, I don't think he has any responsibility to keep his website up or reimburse you for losses because of that (in fact, if this wasn't in the terms of conditions of using the site, he's real stupid and opening himself up to huge liabilities). If anything, that falls on the issuers...because if they are legit and out to serve their clients, they can always validate your stake and move their business to another exchange.

Tried to do a transaction for the past half hour or so. I seem to be unable to communicate with the secure portion of your server, so I can't create a sale order.
UPDATE: Just for my sanity and to get it out of the way, I tried flushing my DNS and resetting the entire internet connection chain just to make sure it wasn't an old DNS entry...nope, still ain't workin'.

Pirate asks for AML info before he'll give the money up. Never gives the money up. Nefario asks for AML info before he'll give the money up. (predictable result goes here)
