361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: December 01, 2017, 10:22:06 AM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?
If i have enough money for my family maybe i play like just for fun or pastime.

That should not be the basis of how you compute whether you can gamble or not. Even if you have enough for your family today, do you have enough for the future? What if your family member needed some money for an emergency, say an accident and your wife needed surgery. But since you thought before that you have given enough because you were able to provide food, shelter and all basic necessities you gambled away all the remaining money. Now what do you do? I think the best way to estimate how much money you should be gambling, or should you ever be gambling, is that whether you have like a lot of money and using those money in gambling would not result to anything bad happening.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: December 01, 2017, 10:16:27 AM
Everything that has been predicted through future will be digital. To connect it with computers, transactions will be digital, payouts/salaries will be digital, booking of flights will be and almost everything will be digital. And that what is happening right now so we are witnessing the future of gambling, bitcoin gambling casino's though there are online casino's that are into fiat and not willing to accept bitcoin still they are digital.

I wish this will stay as it is but the bitcoin gambling market is really saturated from what I can see. The price for bitcoin is very high now so it really make people not really want to spend their bitcoin anymore. If the price is cheaper then alot of gambler will be willing to stake more that means the future is going to be bright for the gambling market

I don't believe that most of us doesn't want to spend our bitcoin. Not all the people are greedy that way, I myself is even contented with the current price of bitcoin and I would love to keep on holding while doing some trades and gambling with it. The good thing on today's price is that I can use a very small amount of bitcoin unlike before where big fraction of bitcoin is not that worthy when converting it to fiat.
high price makes some casino confuse to set the minimum bet , as in the last few years they get used to set 0.001 as the minimum bet which with current rates it's around $10 or even just 0.0001 . imagine when the price of bitcoin keep moving up to $100,000 they might have adjust it like 0.00001 or maybe in lower unit. it's sounds easy to adjust it but some casino might prefer to hold it until the price stable enough.
Yeah, that happened at nitrogensports.eu. Before the price of bitcoin increase so high, the minimum bet is 0.001 and since the bitcoin price going so high the minimum bet changed into 0.0001 and most of gamblers on nitrogen are happy actually. If the bitcoin price increase again in the future, maybe the minimum bet will changed again.
I also remember the days when the minimum bet at nitrogen was 0.001 btc or 1mbtc. I was a regular bettor at nitrogen back in 2013 and usually 1mbtc was nothing, it was just like $0.40 USD. Which was nothing. Now 1mbtc is already $10, that is a bit significant now compared to how it was. Even at 0.1mbtc it is still at $1. Comparing that to the previous bets I made. Well, times have change when prices of bitcoins just don't stop moving up.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you would win a Jackpot what would you do with the money? on: December 01, 2017, 10:03:34 AM
the one thing that i can do is withdraw the money into my other wallet and then withdraw 75% the money into my bank account and leave the rest in the wallet, maybe i will left some amount in my account so i can playing the games in other times. i want to save the money for another things and for my future so i have money if i am an urgent situations.
Good thing you have a plan if that happens. I think it depends now on the applicantion if in case you win a jackpot. Many people are having problems in that part of the plan because having lots of money can sometimes cause you to lose control over spendig especially if you're not used to holding a lot of money
You have a very good point, my fellow.  This is Women nature. People will definitely lose control over their emotions if something unexpected encounters them.

Not all of us are used to seeing a lot of money on daily basis and that is why staying calm under all sort of conditions is a very important skill for achieving  success in life. Anyways if ever I win a jackpot, I am going to put it in some real use by establishing my own business empire.

What if the jackpot was just $10? Will you be able to create your business empire with that much money? You know this jackpot thing is relative. It really still depends on how big the jackpot it. And usually the bigger the jackpot the bigger the required betting size to get it. Because the jackpot is more inclined to be given to people that gamble way bigger than the jackpot price. You can see this in most promotions on any casino.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino You've ACTUALLY WON? on: December 01, 2017, 09:39:56 AM
Of course Bitcoin casinos pay out, but it's easier on some casino's.

There are a couple of casino's that require you to wait a few days before they send out the payment, it needs to get audited etc.
I tend to avoid those, because I like want to get my winnings immediately Tongue

But on sites like Crypto-Games you receive your payment in a couple of seconds after request, no risk at all.
if you talking about huge money of high roller then yes it is usually cost a lot of times before they approve your withdrawal , it is for security reasons and i think it is fair enough , they have to be careful making decision as the funds could be earned from illegal way.

some casinos might have faster security checking , it is good for the players but risky for the owner.

I would personally never play on any casino that doesn't pay out winnings somewhat instantly. I wouldn't mind waiting a couple of hours if they need to get funds out of cold storage in case of a really big win, but having a payout delayed for days due to 'auditing' is just ridiculous.

There are enough Bitcoin casino's that do pay out instantly, so why would I settle for something less?

I'd bet that Crypto-Games even pays their high rollers instantly, otherwise I would have seen complaints about it in CG's chat or here.

That is why it is best to just play on legit casinos that have a proven track record in paying out and never had any issues with any of their players. Crypto-games is indeed one of those, you can also try fortune jack, it's also one of the most prominent bitcoin casinos around. But really, if anyone wants to try out new casinos to try and win something, better do their due diligence first before depositing anything in it.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any one who won significant amount of satoshi in gambling..?? on: December 01, 2017, 09:22:52 AM
there are many but when compared to amount of losses it is way lesser than that because
more and more people lose than making any sort of profit thats the reason why most gambling
sites always remain in profit

Gambling sites always will be in a profit, because we can't beat the house. We play and win and next we play and lose and again lose and lose, it is gambling. In the end, we depend on luck and forget our strategy. But i have learn from my gambling experience, house always win and sometime we win and most of the time we lose.
If your games to played are always base on luck it better for you to quit gambling. Because the best games are not depending on the luck, maybe we always believed in our own strategies.

For me the better gambling we can played is a card games, because in card games the possibility for you to win is definitely depends on the strategy you can do to defeat your opponent.
Card games are indeed better if you aim to make gambling into a profit activity. But to be honest, even card games require some level of luck to win them. However, what is nice about card games is that it does not require pure luck. You can use some sort of strategy that would mathematically improve your chances of winning and reduce the risk you get every game. But mastering those techniques will likely take a while.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Time Person of the Year betting on: December 01, 2017, 06:42:21 AM
Interesting to read about this here when I just recently read about President Donald Trump just said he declined Time Magizine's nomination for the Person of the Year. But really, Time never did accept the decline since they said there was no list yet and there is no guarantee that the President was on the new list. I guess, Trump was just being cocky by declining something that has not been offered. But, I'll be sure to what this betting event.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: December 01, 2017, 06:35:48 AM
I only play dice I really don't play poker simply because I could not understand it . Poker is very complicated game and I don't like those type of games I am much more on simplicity and dice sites give me that within just a couple of second I could already understand If I win or lose unlike other casino games very complicated
The Poker game is complicated but it is profitable game to cmpare Dice game. and this game you could not play if you don't have any knowldge about this game. The Dice game without having knowledge also you can play and it is easy to play. but making profit in dice game is difficult. i don't know how you may make profit in this game but i did not make any big profit. if you learn how to play poker game i am sure you like this game.

I agree that it is much harder to earn in dice games, but it isn't easy either to earn in poker. Main difference is, like you mentioned , that poker requires knowledge, while dice doesn't, so it is much easier to play dice games than poker, which requires lots of thinking. Both games are luck based though, so even if you played poker for years you can still lose if you're unlucky.

And poker used to be easier years ago. Nowadays the environment has changed. A big chunk of poker’s profit came from rakeback and that’s been cut virtually to zero. The average player nowadays knows a lot more about player than when I started, back in 2011, because there are many poker schools, poker forums etc. so even weak players are better than they were years ago (on average).

Poker has lost a lot of profitability and this has been discussed widely on twoplustwo forum. Of course, there are still people that make a lot of money and still quite a few that get an extra income but most of them are making way less than years ago.

My main intention to start this thread was to know whether the websites that provide poker services male more money or not . I agree with you when it comes to poker players , it's difficult now to win continuously because many poker players play very well and it's difficult to win tourneys.

Well poker sites do make more money. Bigger amounts go to poker rather than dice or any other gambling since poker attracts more experienced and mature gamblers. It's harder to win, that's a given with the vast talent of poker players but its fun and regular people play it anyway. Even if we say that there are more people playing online casino games and dice, i think poker sites attracts more profit for investors.
If you ask me then the only real game in the gambling world is Poker. All others are just kid’s play. In poker, a gambler gets the chance to use his skills. He can use his analytical skills to catch anyone’s bluff. This is why many gamblers love to play poker but it loses its essence when played online.

Poker is fun only in the real environment when the opponent is sitting right across the player. Poker is just love of mature gamblers.

Yeah poker is indeed good but you can't generally say that everything else is kid's play. There is still blackjack, baccarat, sports betting, and a lot of other skill based games. Poker is just one of them but there are quite a lot of other games that are complex and require a lot of skill yet it is still fun to play. Poker isn't everybody's cup of tea, hence they still choose other games beside poker which is normal and that is why a lot of gambling sites are offering other games aside from poker. In fact, poker is likely one of the fewer games available compared to casino games like slots and dice.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: December 01, 2017, 06:04:54 AM
On getting into a winning streak automatically the user gets the greed of winning more. This can be felt commonly when the user is new to the gambling community. In some cases the user ends up gambling in a short time period, this is the reason behind it.

Winning streak only happen when we use autobet setting that build up from small amount to high amount but if we play without using it and only use high amount from beginning, perhaps this could suppress our greed. I dont say that I recommended but I just say that it might work however the best thing is still to play for fun when we gamble

That's  a good idea, but people need to realize that it is a mistake to play like that. Well you could win but I think that many people lose instead of winning so they need to quit to do thigs like that. It is better to focus on playing for fun instead of playing for money.

That is true, a lot of gamblers get addicted because they think they can profit from gambling. But they are dead wrong. So they end up losing more than they can afford to lose, since they keep on depositing more funds into their gambling accounts in the hopes that they can get back their losses. Chasing losses are indeed one of the worst sins you can commit as a gambler, the best is just to play for fun and don't care about the losses.
369  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice site list on: December 01, 2017, 06:00:47 AM
Bistler and primedice two of the most popular dice game in bitcoin world and trusted site to play gambling it's having a low withdrawal fee, so far everytime i play in their site the experience is so much fun and good to mind like stress reliever to me,i think i keep playing this even i don't win for experience and to have knowledge, strategy in their gambling site, i think never give up is the key in gambling and always try it.

Yes, those are indeed some of the most trusted gambling sites for dice. You could also include fortune jack, as they have similarly good dice at par or even better than bitsler and primedice. Also since Fortune Jack is a full blown casino unlike the other two which only offers dice, this means that you have better promotions and also a lot of choices for games you'd like to play.
370  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which bitcoin sportsbook? on: December 01, 2017, 05:54:57 AM
for me 1xbit still the best wide open and various match, best esport dan very low minimum stake for micro player like me is a heaven,, and cloudbet for the 2nd for great odd

1xbit has been proven to be a scam. Not only is their sportsbook proven a scam, but also their casino which is 1xbet. You should consider not playing there since they have had previous issues about cheating their players. It would be better if you just stick with your second recommendation, which is cloudbet. Or you can move to nitrogensports, which is the most trusted one around here.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: December 01, 2017, 03:42:31 AM
Seriously, there is no easy way earn a profit in gambling because all of it is depending on your luck and if you don't have luck your BTC will just be gone in an instant, with just one click all of your BTC are gone and you will suffer and regret everything. If you want to try your luck try it with investing, see if you can earn in investing and pretty sure you will because you always see that investing can be profitable than gambling. There are many altcoins out there like Feather coin, LBRY coin and there are also new ones coming like Angel Token and many other coins available just make the right choices if you really want to earn with minimal risks like gambling just invest and hopefully, you will be successful in investing.

That is true, since gambling should not be a source of income for a gambler. Profits are generated by the casinos by letting the gamblers play and test their luck. The gambler's role is to play and entertain themselves in gambling. There is really no other reason why they should be gambling but that. If a gambler tries to play for profit, then it would really be a bad day for him since he's doomed to fail.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: November 30, 2017, 09:57:18 PM
Slot games I do not like, because a person can not affect the outcome in any way. I like blackjack more, here you can make decisions on the game.
Slots are luck based games, you can only appreciate this kind of game if you love having fun and hoping you will win based on your luck, and this is not a game where you have to play all the time as the longer you play the more you lose since you do not have an edge. Card games like Blackjack and poker can be categorized as skilled based games so this is the type of games we need to focus if we want to improve.
People like to play a game that depends on luck like slot. This game to think that it is only intended for fun and not to really get serious in it. The chance of winning are low and a high risk of losing money. That's why I don't like to play this game, best to play for me is the card games.

I plays it before usually just to kill time, whenever I'm not on good play on poker, i make it to a point to sneak and try some slots game to convince my Day before that it's still a lucky day, but I still prefer putting more time on poker than slot games.

On my opinion, yes I like slot game but it is just for fun and I don't take it seriously. A game which only for pastime and only a short period of time you will know directly its result. Chances of a slot game is very less, I don't think if that game want someone to win due to its less percentage to win. I would say if someone will win,  definitely its his/her luck can tell.
When it comes on wining chances then slots do really have less compared into other games which i dont really like this game at all even if i do play for fun but i do easily got pissed because for how many rolls or pulling that lever i didnt even hit some combinations or winnings which do really suck and im wondering some people did able to manage to win big amounts. They are just really lucky on that particular day.

I agree, this game is really  chances  of win it is because  this is required  100% pure luck to be able win this  game, aside from that it is easy to play and no need to used a strategy  like in a poker that was very complicated unlike sto games even a beginners  can able to bet a jackpot if he/she got right  timing of lucky.

Of course it is, since there is really no way to influence the roll of the slots then you can conclude the it is 100% pure luck. I don't really like slots, since it's pretty hard to win on those games, but really if you win usually it is pretty big wins. I've seen plenty of winners that won big time on slots to the point that it can even x1,000 your bet. But those winners are a very few since it's so hard to win it.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: November 30, 2017, 09:52:36 PM
Absolutely yes, small investment still makes sense. Even how small it is can create big amount if every small can be counts as thousands and million times. Most investments starts from small things like just started to have a store and after they earned enough profit they will expand some part of there store which will give to the costumers makes comfotable and easier. Small investments will take much more time compare to big investment but still profitable.

Yeah I agree, this is because in investments there should really be no emphasis on the size of the investment. What matters is the percentage of profits generated. For example, A has $100,000 to invest and profits $1,000 then that means he profited by 1%. What if B has only $100 to invest, but he profited $100, then he profited by 100%. See the difference? They both have different amount of money, one has a big amount and the other with a small amount. But they did not profit the same percentage, in that case B is the clear winner.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: November 30, 2017, 09:47:00 PM
actually me and husband are both into gambling. but we don't a lot. we do if we got bored and we both played the same game. usually, we went together in casinos but usually only a couple of hours.
it's nice to know you and your husbands are playing gambling together,it's an incredible pair of mutual understanding in gambling hopefully you are lucky until your old age in playing gambling.

Yeah, problem is that if both of them get addicted then the family suffers. I guess it should be something just for fun and to pass the time. It should not be something very serious where they lose a lot of money. Probably if they are playing poker together and joining tournaments, that would be great too. I would say that it is hard to find couples that gamble together, so probably this is something special.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: November 30, 2017, 09:43:07 PM
It wont work in online casino. Maybe in the real world it will help if you are a math wizard but I think being one with that can remember cards that are already out in the table can help score a win. But having that kind of talent is not applicable in online games even if you adjust he settings that favors you to win, there's still a still a percentage that will make you lose.

True.  But, if you win 52 percent of the time and you lose 48% percent of the time AND you play a high volume, then you will come out ahead in the long run.  And, online games make it easier because you can play a higher volume of games then you can at a brick and mortar casino.  You just have to do the math, regulate the bankroll, and play for the long term gains ---> The quick scores/losses are irrelevant in this scope.

Yeah that is true, but again, math never changes your odds of winning in any casino game. Probably if you use it on poker or sports betting then it could increase your chances. But generally, those games still need some level of luck to win. There have been countless games where even a pair ace loses to something like 3s and 2s. It just really depends on luck. Even in sportsbetting, when you studied the game very well, but you cannot really predict if someone got injured, something like that.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price due to retail investors? on: November 30, 2017, 06:37:11 PM
I think even if there are whales and those retail investors you call, in the event they decide to sell everything, prices will remain strong as demand will always be stronger than the supply of bitcoins. So if they do sell out, likely prices will go back down but not really that much that would make it bitcoins useless and die. I guess, it would probably disrupt bitcoins but generally it will come back up no matter what.
377  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money is needed to manipulate Bitcoin's price by 1%? on: November 30, 2017, 11:57:16 AM
Nowadays, you need a lot. Probably you would be spending millions of dollars just to do it without losing money. You would have to buy and sell bitcoins not only in just one exchange but in multiple ones just to move the price by yourself. It's not impossible to do, since likely there are hundreds of companies that have that much money to do so. Heck, even a medium sized bank can even buy all bitcoins right now.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: November 30, 2017, 11:54:56 AM
Bitcoin is moving forward That's a lot of thinking out there. The coins created in 2008 are around $ 10000 today. Why not change life? If there were legalization in some countries, there would be more economic progress.

Bitcoins are legal in most countries, the only places it was banned are only a very few and not so significant states. Also, the reason bitcoins were banned there was not because they created a law specifically to ban bitcoins, but existing laws that placed cryptocurrencies within its reach thus making it illegal to use it.

Although, bitcoins are indeed changing the world. I even heard about seminars being conducted just to inform people about cryptocurrencies nowadays.
379  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-28] Bitcoin Price: Almost $10,000 Now, What's Next? on: November 29, 2017, 08:31:15 AM
Ok, $10,000 is broken, and we're heading towards $11,000 now it seems. It isn't much of a big deal in terms of gains in percentages, but the fact that we are moving at five figure levels right now is very pleasing. The dump people were waiting for hasn't shown up, or it might still in the coming days/weeks. It's the Asian market that's steering this market to new record highs, where Korean nominated exchanges are close to $12,000 right now. Let's see how long we're able to maintain +$10,000 levels. If it could be done all the way till CME's 'judgement day', and they get the approval that would allow them to offer Bitcoin related futures, this market will go up even higher.

$10k is indeed broken already, and seems like we're quite heading to far higher prices than anyone could have anticipated. I do think it will even reach $15,000 before the year ends and prices will definitely be quite high but will not have any more fears that it will go down significantly to the point that it would be below $9,000 anymore. I think if it does reach $15,000 or even above $11,000 it won't ever go down below that $9,000 mark.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: huge crypto market correction incoming on: November 29, 2017, 07:58:18 AM
Yeah, seems like prices will all drop after a few days and it will all correct since the prices are all based on bitcoins and bitcoins are pretty high right now. But I think it will all go back up since it will all drop by a lot and for sure investors will see this as an opportunity to buy more alts. This is the usual case in crypto trading, alts die when bitcoins goes up and when bitcoins are so high then altcoins will be so cheap that people will buy them back.
