361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 20-Year-Old Robinhood Customer Dies By Suicide After Seeing A $730,000 Negative on: July 26, 2020, 04:09:10 PM
I cannot also manage that problem so maybe if that thing happens to me, I am also going to kill myself so it is better if you don't start trading until you learn how to trade in a right way and how to manage your money. If you feel you are losing, stop trading and continue tommorow with a great start. I hope that something like this will be no more happen. If there will be another case like this, maybe the users are going to scared on using crypto currency and that will be a big reason for mass adaptation to occur on a longer time.
I agree the situation was extreme, but I would just like to say one thing that suicide is not the solution to anything. You cannot weigh life with money its priceless. This isn’t the case with just the crypto market, previously many people have committed suicide even due to losses occurring in shares/stock market. It doesn’t affect the market or makes people scared to be honest it just gives them an alarm on what could happen if you aren’t careful.

I still hope we don’t hear such heart breaking news again. Trade with caution, choose healthy coping mechanism even if you lose and don’t be greedy. When you are having confident about getting more opportunities in coming days then you will never need to be frustrated when you're facing losses. So, we must need to understand that this world is too big and the opportunities are really unlimited for everyone.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Treasure Hunt Launches on Minecraft on: July 26, 2020, 08:41:22 AM

This is quite cool, although I will have to say that I have not played a Minecraft game before, and that’s because I’m usually into games with high graphics like PlayStation 4 games such FIFA and some action games. But, I think I will have to try this one out, the idea is really good, players will be having fun and earning at the time, it’s good.

Such events seem very strange to me, I am not sure that they will actually attract many new investors to the crypto industry.

As long as it’s legit and the developers are able to show people that they can trust them, then there is really nothing wrong. I believe that everything has its own audience, it’s left for them to discover it and they will be happy with it.

363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin Rally Might Be Over as Focus Shifts to Bitcoin on: July 26, 2020, 08:16:47 AM
We are getting good bullish signals and vibes in the market now and this could very well be the beginning of the longterm bull market hopefully. I also hope that the market will move organically this time around with volume spreading across all good projects resulting in gains across the market.
Money being invested in only the rights projects is a very rare scenario. When the market is bullish, people tend to pour their money into any coin that is available on the market. Therefore, almost all the coins except a few increases at a rapid pace and gain the momentum in the market even if they are worth nothing and have no real world application or usage.

I too hope that the market moves up consistently, slowly and organically this time so that there is no need of such a large correction like the last time where bitcoin dropped from nearly 20k$ to 3000$. Consistent growth is what I would prefer over bull run.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: July 25, 2020, 08:24:45 PM
Recently, TokenPocket has hosted a WeWearMask event to call on the community's joint effort in the fight against the Corona virus.
https://twitter.com/TokenPocket_TP/status/1246791435103293441
The participants will be prized with a  total of $2,300 and more. I think this is a good move to set up an example of how the crypto world can help to stop the virus. More projects should be doing this as well.
Surely that a great initiative taken by tokenPocket as it raises awareness among the community about the ongoing pandemic situation. But to be honest I don’t think this is necessary as governments of various counties are already doing this in a much efficient way.

So, instead of hosting that event and giving out the rewards to the community, that money can be lent out to provide medical services, equipment and to the people who are actually in need. I would say that this is more of a publicity tactic that is being used by the project then actually trying to help the world fight coronavirus (covid-19).
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 25, 2020, 05:31:38 PM
I hope it will end well for both guys since both are older anyway they have over a month of conditioning and preparation.
That is my primary concern as well because no matter how great these fighters have been in past this fight will come down to who can manage their cardio better and land more significant strikes.

I am not into boxing much but I have always heard the name of Mike in some article or the other and he looks humble in his interviews too from what I have seen, I just hope they both walk out alive and don't sustain any injury.

I would like to see a knock-out but then given their age and the popularity of this fight, I think all the rounds might be needed to decide the winner.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 25, 2020, 04:41:05 PM
I don't read any reviews since I don't really like switching around to different casinos. I like to stay at the same place and work on refining my strategy at that specific place.
That's not a problem if you don't like to switch to one casino to another casino. If you like to stay there, that's nice.

But if the time comes and you're wanting for a switch, don't forget to check reviews.
But where to check the reviews is the main question, I can suggest a few like trust pilot and ask gamblers both of them are good but the problem is that any recent problems and issues with the casino might not be mentioned in the trust score there so I always prefer to check the ANN of the casino here in bitcointalk and go through it quickly to find if there is any problem with the casino.

Also when you switch casino you can switch to the same owner for example I used to gamble at primedice but when I felt the need for sports betting as well, I just switched to stake.com and they have the same trustworthiness of primedice because they both belong to the same owner.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: July 25, 2020, 03:28:10 PM
Would be nice if there is an online tool that automates the checking of seed hash if it has change while betting because to me, manually copying hash seed in every bet is a bit an hassle it would render my gambling experience unenjoyable. Hope you could also develop a GUI plugin for these kinds of problems and avoid gambling sites exploiting the PF feature.
Actually for me, I just verify bets when I am betting big and other times I just believe the system.
It is the classic case of suppose you have a box of 100 locks and you don't know if all of them are working and smooth so you just randomly pick up 5-10 and then pass the whole box. Similarly you verify a few bets every now and then to make the system is fair.

I have another concern that is how frequently people actually change the client seed? There must be hardly any gamblers who change their seed regularly so yes it is literally not possible to verify all the bets and change seed every time because it would be too much hassle.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next movement in the market on: July 24, 2020, 08:28:27 PM
At first, maybe that is how we see the flow of the price of the market due to panic and their need for money. However, we can see that even after facing this pandemic, we have seen the improvement of the price of every crypto in the market. I don't think that it will decrease more since its way is going up.
Due to the situation of lockdown everywhere, people have time to study about the blockchain technology and the crypto assets. Staying at home and being idle is making people look into various new opportunities such as crypto market. Moreover, the market has already seen the fall now’s the time for rise and not even a pandemic’s going to stop it (might slow down a little).

Looks like the corona virus will affect cryptocurrency too, I think that price will fall a lot, because people will need money and will sell Crypto, what are your thoughts about that?

No sort of such thing has been observed until now. I agree to the fact that the economy is pretty bashed at the moment and people will turn to sell their cryptos, but we should also acknowledge the fact that most of the people invest in crypto currencies with the spare money they have and moreover no one’s going to sell their assets at loss. Everyone is waiting for the market to pick up.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 24, 2020, 07:43:05 PM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.
This has been discussed over and over again in this forum. There is nothing wrong with bounty hunters selling their tokens. What they are doing is what they are supposed to do. If the project fails, then you should blame the team that owns the project for not playing their roles perfectly.

Next you have to understand that investors are different from bounty hunters. Bounty hunters are like when you pay influencers on Twitter to promote a product or service for you. You’re paying them, they are not doing their job for free. So don’t count bounty hunters in this, they do their job and they take their payment and leave. The team that owns the project will have to do what it takes to retain their investors.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto crash the system? on: July 24, 2020, 06:07:05 PM
I think the thread starter has not used the right terms in stating what he intended to because crypto is not here to crash any system and it can work with traditional financial system but dont you think that the traditional stock markets, traditional banking, traditional financial system is outdated and there should be atleast some better, more efficient, transparent and advanced system available to be used atleast as an alternative option to the traditional system?
Exactly my point. Crypto cannot really crash the system but can start to coexist with it. Just like people invest in the stock markets, gold and other financial assets, they can invest in crypto currencies seeing its use cases and real life applications and its potential to grow. New technologies like blockchain, IOT etc are finding their ways into people’s lives.

Cryptocurrencies can act as a new wave in the world of digitization if properly regulated and legalized. So, crypto and the system can coexist and boost a countries economy, but it is highly impossible for a vulnerable digital market to crush the whole well-established system of payments, trades and ecommerce.

If something so volatile takes over the whole system, it will surely create a whole lot of problem in the country. Crypto assets can exist as a side source of income or act as an alternative to stock markets for instance but can never be the main currency of the country cause economic is not something simple and it takes years to framework everything.
371  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 23, 2020, 08:06:36 PM
China is basically starting to get some sort of backlash and that was something we would have expected long time ago in late 80's but lets be happy that it is starting. India at first obviously because they are literally at war with them, Hong Kong and Vietnam and Taiwan obviously for related reasons and there will be a ton of other countries who are totally unrelated in the war get into it for support of these nations as well.

UK for example is one that I am considering as first western nation to actually do something about China, not actually go to war obviously, that would be silly, but at least they could ban all Chinese product and all trade with china, do you realize how China as a whole nation relies on other nations buying from them? The moment you ban trade with china between some big nations, China will suddenly become incredibly poor.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 23, 2020, 04:06:08 PM
Though the economy is slowly recovering because of the less restriction for business and establishments, there are businesses (e.g restaurants and bars) who chose to permanently close due to losses of not getting profit anymore because of the pandemic. Lack of customers are the reason, as I can see here the most affected are the drivers of public transportation since there's a limit for passengers which means less income.
Choosing to permanently shut down hotels might be a decision they had to make out of desperation or maybe they have loans on the hotel itself which is not possible to manage and they have to close it.

But if only they could have managed a little longer, the conditions are now getting back to healthy once again and very soon the market would be back and there might be even more movement and demand since people are frustrated being locked into their house and would rush to hotels, malls, etc once they see there is no fear and restrictions being applied.
373  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers on: July 21, 2020, 09:11:16 PM
That is the problem, if you are actually not making money, that doesn't mean you do not have to pay neither.

If you are a business or a celeb or basically anyone who are paying someone, just because you are not making profit doesn't mean you do not have to pay neither. By that logic when pandemic is not around, like lets say before pandemic started, any company who doesn't make a profit didn't have to pay neither. That is not what happened back in the day, so why should it happen now just because pandemic?

If you can't pay to people you should not be a business or a celeb that hires workers at all, you have to pay not only when you earn but when you do not earn as well, that is what hiring people entails when you hire them. It is not whenever you want to or whenever you can pay, it means every day.
There was a similar case I heard in gambling section where the casinos were not paying their workers while some casinos were paying so this is happening everywhere but it feels worst when rich and royal people do this. Maybe in future there should be a bond/clause where the labour must be paid if there is a pandemic situation like this and the worker has no option to earn.

There are some basketball players who paid their workers and donated for the relief funds while there are people by kylie Jenner who just cannot pay their owner workers. This is the time when we get to know our real heroes and selfish people are also spotted.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Allegedly Coinbase prevented 1,000 customers From Sending Funds to the Hackers on: July 21, 2020, 08:26:59 PM
Wow, I saw that news this morning and I have to say that they did a really good job in protecting the funds of their customers who are of course dumb lol. I don’t know why people would think that such a thing is real. Who on earth will tell you to send money to them so that they can double it when you’re not in gambling for sure?

Imagine how much these hackers would have gotten if Coinbase didn’t take this timely action. They would have gotten three times of the amount they got Shocked . It’s high time people get wise and stop rushing into just anything they see. I am just wondering if any of coinbase user cum this forum Bremen will share their experience to confirm this news? Because, I am really concerning about about coinbase's this timely action.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 21, 2020, 07:55:32 PM
We can’t tell if what you have said is right about the price not going to reach ATH price again, but at the same time you’re right about people approaching Bitcoin as a Ponzi or something as such. And to be sincere, this kind of thing can be annoying at times. People who ask me about Bitcoin don’t talk about the transaction aspect of it, they only talk about how much they will be able to make when they put money into it, and then they start asking questions on how much I have invested in cryptocurrency and how much I have made, it sounds stupid to me when they start asking that kind of question.

When I started making use of cryptocurrency making profit wasn’t my aim, I was just using it for receiving payment, without minding the loss and profit I was withdrawing at anytime. It took a long time before I decided to start investing in it.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: July 21, 2020, 06:33:11 PM
Fake project is really frustrating if you're one of the victim especially for investors and bounty hunters.
I had read an interesting way to make sure the project is real. You can identify the project is fake by it's address of the company who is running IEO/ICO. Fake project would be indentify with this way because they put fake location. You can check it with google maps to verify if it's real.
Lol, sometimes scammers can even use real addresses, but that doesn’t mean that they are located at the address they have used. So no matter what, you have got to be very careful with how you choose what to invest your money in. Try to know their team if possible, that’s where they will usually mess up, because they will have to fake their identity if they are scammers. Their social media handles can help to reveal who they are. Check their LinkedIn and Twitter and check their activities.

Regardless of who many measurements we are taking to identify fake projects, these days devs are making themselves to look like more realistic and this is the reason all those measurements are ending up in vain. But, this does not mean we should not be careful like before; we must continue what we are doing so that they could find them out at possible levels.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your top 5 coins for HODL? on: July 21, 2020, 05:41:25 PM
I particularly have these in my portfolio for HODL:
Bitcoin
Ethereum
Cardano
Tron
Still trying to figure out the fifth one to hold for a long term good return.

Your favorite coins with a bright forseeable future?
I was going to mention ChainLink, but I saw news yesterday about it that wasn’t a good news. For a year now ChainLink has been doing well, and the price is increasing, even this month. It seems to be a good option, but it would be good if you take time to look into it or any other choice you make to know if it’s really good.

XRP is a good asset to buy at this time too, institutions are getting interested in it. Analysts are forecasting a bull for XRP that will possibly take place in this 2020.Next is Litecoin, it’s a good coin, maybe you should buy it if the two I have mentioned are not something you’re interested in.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO might soon become an history in crypto world soon on: July 21, 2020, 04:25:06 PM
The idea of DYCO is interesting, and I will say that I like it. We haven’t gotten to know much about it, as time goes on we will get to know about it. As for IEO, I think it has to do with the platform that the project running the token is using to launch it. There are some projects that launch their tokens using cheap exchanges that won’t be able to fetch them the level of audience (investors) that they will need to blow that project, and that’s why a lot of them fails. And that’s not the only thing , a project can also fail if people don’t like the idea of the devs.

So, lots of things can make a project not to be successful. And as for ICOs, I don’t think they are leaving (not anytime soon), people still are interested in them. Let’s wait and see the level of growth this newly introduced DYCO will achieve.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: How will look the world in 2100? on: July 20, 2020, 06:48:21 PM
We can only make presumption on things that are going to happen in the future based on what we are experiencing now.
But, the truth still remains that we can’t predict the future, though it’s good that we don’t neglect the things that are happening around us now, because in some ways the data we have can help us make the right decisions.

It’s just like this pandemic, if last year or two years anyone was told that there is going to be a pandemic that will come out and start killing people, nobody would have believed that. Well, here we are and that’s what’s happening today.

Some people are saying the highly populated nations will build their economy stronger whereas some others are speculating possible collapse just because dense population. China is world second largest country in area hence they are good with largest population whereas India is world only 8th largest country in area and when it becomes highly populated then its economy may not grow like China.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers on: July 20, 2020, 06:03:52 PM
Lol this has been the same comments that people are making in my country where I live. They are all saying that due to the quarantine that they are not going to die because of virus, it’s the hunger that’s going to kill them lol. That’s why a lot of them have strongly opposed the quarantine and are saying that they want to continue going for their jobs and prefer to main a social distance (which I know for sure that they wouldn’t).

But let’s be sincere here, this quarantine will not favour the poor in every society. Even if the government decides to pay money into all accounts, some of these people don’t have bank accounts, and government can’t feed everybody.
