One word. Patience.

You did buy at an importuned time, but you didn't buy at a loss until you sell.

I would just hold, and buy more now to bring your dollar cost average down. Just don't sell at a loss!!!!

That's why the good old timers say "don't invest what you can't afford to lose". This is because if you came in for a quick buck you have be very good or very lucky. The ones who have patience have never lost profit wise.

do you believe 2015 will be a good year for btc?

i think 2016 will be " the year of bitcoin. "

after this bear is done

we'll have CHEAP coins for a full year easy

this bear is insane

That's quite bearish Adam. I would love to fill my wallet with "cheap" coins for another year. I don't think the Bulls will wait that long though, their will be at least another pump by then.

Although I do believe 2016 and on there will not be a bear in sight.

new speculation : the fall the past few days has been due to circle users sending there bitcoin there to easily top off their bank accounts.

Lol. I would love to see their volume and stats. It would be pretty interesting since it's so easy to convert either way with them. In a bear market more people are converting BTC to fiat right?
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 05, 2014, 02:13:08 AM
Are the deposits on circle are holded in BTC or fiat?

depends what you deposit i guess.

My English is lacking, hm?

Another trial:

I hold BTC or Fiat on a circle Account? You know what I mean? I guess BTC, but want to be sure.

it is my understanding that circle accounts can hold BTC or Fiat(of any color), and you are free to switch back and forth at anytime, I'm guessing they won't let you do bitcoin trading with this account... its probably part of their policy that it the service should not be used to day trade bitcoin.

The second you send money to circle it is converted to BTC. You cannot sent USD to circle and then place a bid. They have no bids or asks. When you send BTC there is it held until you market sell, when you send USD it automatically converts to BTC. Therefore all holdings are in BTC.

Thanks.

You want a Tequila for this info?  Cheesy

I love tequila! But just pay it forward!

BFL was allowed to resume operations...coincidence?
(yeah they could have that much PH from the scam they did)

Is there a spike down from when they shut down operations?

369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin slowly dying out? on: October 04, 2014, 10:12:31 AM
This thread is a drop of blood in the street. Just one more drop along with many other posters who have lost faith.
370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 04, 2014, 10:08:52 AM
Russia bans bitcoin and all you "end of bitcoin" bears can't even drop the price under $350?

I was promised <350, <300, <270 coins!
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Daily reminder if you held the bag, you are a fool and will be a loser in life. on: October 04, 2014, 01:03:53 AM
Ok OP how much profit have you got so far?

I bet I made more on the way up then you did on the way down.

This thread reminds me of the ones after the 2013 bubble, and the one before that. The ones made by all the people who bought at the peak, sold at loss, decided to short to get gains back, and ended up getting burned once again because of their stupidity. The whole point here is to get more coins, not fiat.
372  Economy / Speculation / Re: whats the point of tracking the price in such a small market on: October 04, 2014, 12:59:00 AM
Yep, im sure you were out in full force warning everyone at 1K that price didnt matter, right hypocrite ? Right ?

Storytellers still tryin' to reel you in. Pathetic.

i wasn't here back then but if i was, yes i would.

BURN!!!

Anybody want some burnt t-bone?
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: and we are officially off to test the previous high at around $270 on: October 04, 2014, 12:54:18 AM
I don't think "odds are very high" but I wouldn't mind picking up some coin under $300
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchange being used to manipulate bitcoin price? on: October 04, 2014, 12:31:47 AM
someone with alot of stolen bitcoins is slowly dumping them pushing the price down.
while his paid shills try and scare people into selling to push the price even lower so that their master eventually could buy back in at lower prices.

Why would someone with free coins care about pushing the price down and buying back in? To maximize profit on free?

More likely they are just cashing out before they get caught, but not so fast as to lose money from a crashing price.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Black Swan Event on: October 03, 2014, 08:00:01 PM
That's just the EMC cold wallet.

Estimates for BFL total wallets are 10,000 to 50,000 BTC.

Up until the judge ordered this, no one was expecting a forced sell event of any kind.    That it's going to be done orderly has no meaning.  Everyone will want to get their sell orders in first.

What are these estimates based upon? I understand BFL has always converted BTC from product sales to dollars. Do estimates assume differently, or do estimates assume that they mined 10-50k bitcoins and held them?

He just made that up.

Like they said in court it's around 896 coins.

Either way, they will be sold at auction, not on the exchanges.
376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 03, 2014, 07:57:18 PM
ah all that talk about manipulation

bitcoin is still overpriced right now, we are still in a correction after last winter

Ok thanks, i almost bought some. Could you tell us when the price is right?

150-200 seems ok

Lol, are you serious, 150-200 is very less.
How miner will recover their cost.

in this game, people get burnt, they lose lot of money. that can affect miners too. it's not always happy hippy lucky life

good luck with your coins and transfers without miners

future miners and hardware will adapt to a new price level. the current mining environment can be replaced if it dies. you can replace everything

You can't replace incentive.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 03, 2014, 07:03:38 PM
Holy shit, check the Satoshi wallets!  Undecided

378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin see $299 or below by 10/31/14? on: October 03, 2014, 06:47:29 PM
I'm a "permabull" and I hope we break below that. Great buying opportunity and we might finally alleviate all that selling pressure.
379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 03, 2014, 06:45:58 PM
All you people that are nervous about the price going sub $300, why are you nervous? We obviously aren't going up from these levels with the selling that's going on. If we do go down further from here it would be a great buying opportunity. Also, the only way to alleviate selling pressure is to just sell all those coins. So if you ask me, crash the price, sell all those coins that want to be sold, I'll pick up a few and then we can be on our merry way.

Just like the price can't stay high forever, it can't stay low forever either (unless it goes to 0, astronomically unlikely)
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Monster transaction: 39016 BTC!! on: October 03, 2014, 04:41:15 AM
that is absolutely hillarious that they didn't pay a small fee to move all that money lol. Would take forever to be verified wouldnt it?

Old coins don't have to pay a fee and are considered priority.
