Is there a trusted member who sells old hard drives in the forum? I plan on purchasing only 8 terabyte hard drives and up. Please send me a message or reply in this thread. Ty.

Trusted members only, I am willing to send payment first if very trusted.

362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burstnation, READ THIS! on: May 28, 2018, 03:33:13 AM
Opposers of the PoCC, this is your last chance. Drop your old nodes now for new ones or you and your Bursts will be in trouble. Bittrex and Poloniex have already started to install BRS 2.2.0. If you continue to run the old software with your mining pools, nodes and your wallets then you cant transfer them to those exchanges anymore.

The PoCC will also disclose an exploit in the 1.x.x software. You have been warned.

363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A case for Burst's Proof Of Capacity on: May 28, 2018, 03:26:36 AM
This is another news of the complaints from local residents of an area where BTC Proof of Work mining is starting to stress their power grids. When will this community realize that PoW mining is not sustainable?

But its best to let them keep making the same mistakes. All of you know where Burst is when that time comes.

364  Economy / Economics / Re: What language should I learn next? on: May 26, 2018, 03:20:41 AM
Chinese would be my choice. Yes they have closed their borders from the cryptocurrency world. Only how long would that be? They will need to open their country to innovation, the same way they opened their country's economy to the world which caused one big boom in the world's economy.

Predicted difficulty should also be always included in an earnings calculators. It as been going higher linearly over the years which makes it easy to forecast.
Difficulty absolutely does not increase linearly. Please take a look at Bitcoinwisdom's BTC difficulty charts or Litecoin difficulty charts and tell me all that growth (and stagnation a while back) is linear. Please don't post things that are absolutely untrue. Nobody can predict difficulty increases accurately, and it sure does not increase at a linear rate for conventional mining on any chain.

Look at the red line, which represent actual difficulty and zoom out the 9 months and more if you can.

It looks like stairs that continually is going up. But maybe linear is the wrong word to use. What would the right word be?

Ty for the bump Scooby and graysoon. But I am so sad to see in your trust comments that you are only one person lol. I thought Burst was gathering more real users.

How many users have been bumping the thread with several accounts?

Burst announcement. Read this checklist from the PoCC on what everyone must do to be ready for the hard fork on block 500,000.

Burst hard fork checklist

It is also a statement from the PoCC that all your coins and assets will be safe. Do not listen to Focus in Burstnation who spreads FUD.

370  Economy / Economics / Re: Peter Schiff: The Calm Before the Storm on: May 24, 2018, 04:36:29 AM
30 minute long video clip.  Shocked

I doubt I'll watch the whole thing. Initial notes.

Schiff doesn't appear aware of past historical precedents where tax revenues increased off of tax cuts. Fairer taxes, lower taxes can cut down on tax evasion and utilization of offshore tax shelters. The concept appears counter intuitive to many due to linear perception of tax rates. If people think taxes are fair, they are more likely to pay them which can result in higher tax revenues which is what we're currently seeing from Trump era tax cuts.

Schiff labeling positive outlooks over Trump's economic policies "false optimisim" is premature. We have seen real numbers in terms of job resurgence. China has agreed to negotiate the trade deficit. We may see higher investment in united states business due to corporate taxes being cut. There is evidence to support a positive economic outlook which Schiff appears to dismiss out of hand.

I agree with Schiff in terms of high debt and spending via the state not being the best policies. However there may be no choice given the neglect US infrastructure, defense and other issues have suffered over the past 4+ administrations. We're seeing collective falllout accumulated over decades of neglect and there's no avoiding it forever. The spend, spend, spend mode of politics which created $21 trillion in debt wasn't about to disappear overnight simply because Trump took office and its unfair for people to try to pin all of the blame on any single person.

But doesnt higher debt and spending by the state always causes higher taxes as a consequence? When US congress decides the perpetually higher annual budget, it also discusses how to tax the people and where to get more out of them.
371  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Complete replacement for centralized exchanges: BTC+Bisq+Stablecoin+Atomic Swap on: May 24, 2018, 04:30:22 AM
Okay, I now get it. The problem now lies on what stablecoin is best to use. I saw your thread but I dont trust any of them to be frank. But which one of them would you use if you were Bisq?
372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Transferwise - Worldwide Bank Accounts on: May 23, 2018, 04:25:09 AM
That would have been easier if banks tried to use cryptocurrencies to move their client's money around the world. They would even not need to hold anything.
373  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the alternatives for Bitcointalk? on: May 23, 2018, 04:19:35 AM
What about /r/bitcoin? There are good disucssions made there and some of the BTC developers go there sometimes to discuss their thoughts and proposals.

There are also funny memes and threads which make it less boring.

There rich are rich because their ancestors were rich. If you are born poor and belong from a poor family the work you do should be 10 times harder and should be 1000x smarter so that you yourself have a chance to become rich.

375  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Complete replacement for centralized exchanges: BTC+Bisq+Stablecoin+Atomic Swap on: May 23, 2018, 03:58:58 AM
Atomic swaps? Cant a stablecoin be accepted straight by Bisq to avoid any further complications in trading them with BTC and other coins?
376  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Complete replacement for centralized exchanges: BTC+Bisq+Stablecoin+Atomic Swap on: May 22, 2018, 03:23:40 AM
I like the idea! Why dont you make a suggestion in the Bisq announcement thread!

They also have Burst trading! I like it already lol.
377  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be careful what you wish for.. on: May 22, 2018, 03:09:51 AM
But first, how will all of us become rich? Most of us dont have the intelligence needed to be rich. There will always be a few smarter and more intelligent people who become rich. History has already shown it to us as fact.

With that said, you can already see in most of the replies made in the thread that they will never be rich lol.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin vs world economy on: May 22, 2018, 03:02:25 AM
There appears to be a very weak correlation between the S&P500 and the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos. Cryptos have a higher correlation with generally high volatility in the equities market than with poor performance.

Then what are these high equities market that BTC has a higher correlation with? Do you mean the stock markets of developing nations? They are "in general" higher in volatility.

Weekly Burst Report #37
The Weekly Burst Report is a report published every Sunday meant to centralize and outline the important Burst information of the week. https://www.burstcoin.ist/2018/05/21/weekly-burst-report-37/

I still waiting for what will happen later with burst coin, I see the price of the burst coin is not increase significantly although it's increasing for a few satoshi. I hope that it will bring a good progress for the burst coin so the price will get the impact for this and I think maybe the price can lift up until more than 500 satoshi. but still, we need to wait for the next things that will happen and I am sure that many of us still waiting for this.

But ask if you want a fast short term pump and dump coin or a long term and slow increasing coin. If you ask me I like both. I can store a large amount of investment in Burst and day trade other altcoins for small amounts.

"A new Weekly BURST Report is out" added to vote on YEENOT TODAY https://yeenot.today/catalog/news/273
are you interesting to buy or mine BURST ?
Personally, buying BURST coin at current low price seems to be better option for BURST investors, than directly mining the coin.
To mine the coin efficiently, electricity bills should be stayed as low cost as possible, which is not true at the moment.

What do you mean "not true"? Proof of Capacity consumes much lower electricity compared to Proof of Work and it is just as secure if time memory trade off and grinding attacks can be mitigated. The PoCC is developing not only the platform but also Proof of Capacity. By Burst version 3.0.0, we would have a better PoC and enough to compete with the coins in the top 10.
