361  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Central coming back on Monday - fiat to ALTS a possibility on: September 23, 2013, 08:49:18 AM
I'm happy to hear that Bitcoin-Central is going to resume its activity. I'm curios to see in which way they will compete with Bitstamp (if they ever want to, of course).

I am not sure they ever can. The only advantage they have is that they do not convert EUR to USD.
362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: September 23, 2013, 08:46:29 AM
I think it will go way above 1000$ if it manages to stay alive for a few years.

But it also needs to have a lot of transactions, and use. Which is not the case :/

Other ways than buying and mining are useless. You won't get anything with faucets

Posting for either .1 btc for .12 back by 10 pm tonght,  or .25 for .3 back by 10pm tonight.

Using to place a few bets on nfl (I bet with fiat on bookmaker.eu) but no btc leftfor bitbook.

If I win, I pay from that.  If I lose, ill buy from btcquick and still repay tonight.  This keepss me from buying up front.

Thanks

375  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling Bitcoins - PayPal Accepted - Please Read on: September 22, 2013, 12:41:26 PM
@dinerodigitalip The minimum transaction is that high to keep every man and his dog from requesting 1 bitcoin and then charging back. With a higher amount there will be less transactions, therefore less chargebacks.

Also are you joking? There's no way on earth I would send Bitcoins first!!! Accepting PayPal is a big enough risk for me, I'm shocked that you actually expect me to go first!!!

You got asked twice to prove that you own any bitcoins.
You failed to do so.

Therefore, if you do not show your btc address with > 14 btc, and a proof that it belongs to you, you might end up with negative trust ratings.
