My "guess" is that this is where the trojan.. if it even exits.. came from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=200147.0

Another guy in spam frenzy...

Please post proofs. I can't see any. (and your pc cant get infected reading a thread on bitcointalk man....)

Or are you accusing ali1234? I cant really understand you.
Why are you talking if you don't understand?  Huh

Proof of what? read again or buy a dictionary.

Come one man, post a proof that the trojan is where you "guess" it is. Are you accusing ali1234? Are you accusing someone who posted in that thread? Please clarify.

I am accusing limitless, he is a known scammer on this forum - he makes threads to make himself look legit while scamming people in trades, don't take my word for it, just search his name on this forum. Also look at the thread I linked, he was the one that made it and there are several accusations in that same thread that the files in his links have Trojans.

And no, I am not siding with the guys that say YAC has a trojan, I have not been affected myself so it all looks like fear mongering to me for now.

Thank you for clarify. So you're accusing limitless (I know he is a trade scammer).

Stupid question, in my bad english:
How can Limitless infect any computer trough that thread? Did he posted any link except ali1234 miner? I feel dumb but i can't understand you, sorry man, nothing personal.

He posted link for some YAC related software. Check around, he was the thread starter.

I feel even more stupid now. Also you are saying Limitless posted there "some YAC related software" (same thing Cesar is saying). I guess you both are correct and I'm wrong.

Please imagine I'm a six year old child, I can't read pretty well: show me where Limitless posted this software. Thank you!

I'm still waiting. If you or Cesar have a spare minute please link me a "quote" or a "screenshot". I really would appreciate that, and forgive me for being so dumb, I can't find it. Thank you!
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YAcoin Fear Mongering Campaign - Updated on: May 11, 2013, 02:48:37 PM
Confirmed it's minerd:

that's not confirmation at all... official pooler's cpuminer has some 35/45 virus warnings in virus total and it's clean and used by thousands and thousands.

I have 3 or 4 other builds of minerd. This is the one I downloaded from the yacoin thread....

All minerds including they very original one are full of viruses based on virus checking tools... so the only confirmation would be the network caught not the false positives from virus tools. These yac miners haDDDd been announced in a wild definitely, I've installed them only on my vps'es from that very reason but as with anything else there's still no proof they're bad guys.

That's a strong point: Minerd IS a virus for many antivirus software (why? does "Botnet" say you something?) It's been like that long ago before Yacoin come out..

(This doesn't mean Yacoin client/miner people downloaded on "hackmyass.iwillbetoorich.com" is safe)

Did ali1234 release windows binaries for his miner? If he didn't, then I doubt it was him 100%. Seems like everyone is saying this happened on windows.

I dont'understand why CesarV is accusing Ali1234 (not even sure Cesar is really accusing Ali1234 or he is just spamming for fun)

370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC / YAC Exchange in Google Docs! on: May 10, 2013, 02:53:56 PM

And please remove sales offer of the known scammers. Thank you!
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to use minerd with YAC on Windows on: May 10, 2013, 01:11:36 PM
You need to bypass your AV application then.

is this useful to do?
what does this minerd.exe do with my system?

Some AV consider minerd.exe as a a virus, because it was used in viruses to create mining botnets. (easy explanation)
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC / YAC Exchange in Google Docs! on: May 10, 2013, 01:08:44 PM
is it just me or we are now at 25 LTC per 1k?

Yep, I sent some PMs and noone selling at 20/1k anymore.

It's probably related to reward/block dropping..  Money supply is a lot slowlier to grow now.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTB 1000YAC on: May 10, 2013, 12:40:26 PM

Any news about a pool?
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to see total YACoin network hashrate? on: May 10, 2013, 01:49:37 AM
I can't find proper command in the help section of the console.

As far as I know, there isn't a way to tell directly. However, we can approximate from the difficulty using the following relation:

Code:
Hashrate = Difficulty * 2^32 / 600

At the current difficulty ~ 0.6482, that means we can guess 4640000 hashes/sec, i.e. 4.64 MHash/s.

EDIT: Hold on, that's clearly wrong. Let me figure out what the correct equation is.
