361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Waves is always low? on: January 10, 2018, 10:17:57 PM
In its  roadmap  there  are  a lot of  things...  why is always low?

It is always low because it is just sleeping and lacks the demand it needs for it to grow for now. I can't say if it will surely rise but I am sure waves is one with potential in it for growth. It is always low but many are still hoping that waves will go up in price. It also somehow is not affected by the activeness of it's development team because if it is some other coin, I am sure this would've  been one factor for investors buying it.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON SCAM: TRUTH OR FUD...WHAT'S YOUR TAKE? on: January 08, 2018, 12:37:42 PM
Who knows if scam or FUD but whilst it's making people money...do they care? The floor may disappear at any time but that's the risk we take.

True.

I bought some a month ago, sold enough to recoup my investment.  My remaining 14k coins are profit so I can take risk with it much easier.  They are x12 currently and while I don't want to lose that, I am waiting to see if the rumor of major team up is true.  I will re-assess after the promised date.
If you don't want to lose that, then don't wait for the promised date and sell your tron. That way you can secure profits now. Always remember that greed is what makes one lose money in trading and it would not hurt to sell now if you have a nice amount of profits already. Although that is the case, the probability of it being just a FUD is higher than it being true.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A portfolio for 2018 on: January 07, 2018, 09:25:53 PM
Hi guys,

this is my first post here on Bitcointalks.

I would like to hear your thoughts about the following crypto-asset allocation for a 1 year horizon:

Bitcoin           44.0%
Ethereum       18.2%
Litecoin          1.3%
ChainLINK      4.1%
Raiblocks        6.7%
Bitcoin Cash    2.9%
Hawala           6.1%
Flyp.Me          1.2%
Kucoin Shares 9.7%
NEO               1.0%
NEO GAS        1.2%
OmiseGO        2.1%
Binance Coin   0.8%
Bread BRD      0.8%

Do you think that such a portfolio will outperform simply hodling Bitcoin or a conservative strategy like 60%BTC-40%ETH?

Do you think that some coins are heavily over/underweighted? Or maybe do you find that it miss a must have token for year to come?

Thank you if you like to share your thoughts.
Your portfolio is fine it's just that I think that you should add more from your portfolio into bitcoin cash and lessen your ethereum stash by a percent. It's up to you to follow what I said or not  but I think bitcoin cash is still one of the most profitable coins that exist in the market now. You might also want to consider adding waves into portfolio. It is a good promising coin that would surely give one profit this year.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can this rise go on forever? on: January 06, 2018, 10:47:06 PM
I mean, even shitcoins and abandoned projects increase in price and market cap... what's going to happen, your prediction?
For shitcoins I think they would not continue to increase in price in the long run. Someone is just manipulating shitcoins prices for it to pump.In case of other cryptocurrencies that aren't shitcoin though I think their rise is sustainable so long as btc adoption rate continues and so long as people's main reason for using cryptocurrencies is to profit. Although that is the case, I think most alts would continue to increase in terms of market cap.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bytecoin ever reach $0.10? on: January 05, 2018, 10:27:52 PM
Question now is. Will it reach at least 80 cents? Or maybe a dollar? It is interesting to see that this coin is fastest growing in value this week. We need to see new things here so that we can achieve greater heights for BCN.
Don't ask because it can. Potential for it to reach the speculated prices is always there since it's ICO and all it needs is more demand in order to reach a dollar. I am sure that after a few years I am sure there are only two possibility. The first one is that it will reach the speculated price and the other possibility is that it won't but it is very unlikely if BCN can survive that far.  Maybe it will achieve 2$ milestone if the current pace it has is retained for a while.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Internxt coin or Shift ? on: January 04, 2018, 11:39:35 AM
For  decentralized internet project is  it better  shift or  internxt?

I bought internxt at 1,40$  now it's  at  5$  and it  has  reached  the  6$  but I have not  sold it  beacuse:

-  it's  an  intersting project with  a  limited   total supply (only  629,610  coins)
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/internxt/

-it has  the potencial  for a  x100  because  of the  tiny coin supply and the fact that it focuses on the  decentralized  web  also for  people  which does not know anything  of  cripto

-  Today it  made a  +18%

- it is   on  coinexange only   and  if it succeeds  it  can be easly a  300$  worth coin (thanks  to  the tiny coin total)

What  do you think ?  Better  shift or internxt?

Better hold what you got now if you believe in it. Do not exchange it for shift if you already hold it ATM. It would be a lot better if you can also buy shift while holding internxt at the same time so that you will have better profits if ever your speculations came true. That way you wont also need to miss the opportunity to profit from shift while holding internxt. Just always remember to not hold it for too long or else your money would be eaten by whales.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks adopting Blockchain dramatically faster than expected on: January 02, 2018, 01:00:31 PM
They are definitely using the same tech as with Ripple but not the coin itself after all they can just hire someone to make a cryptocurrency for them to use at their own convenience. Considering that the things required to create one's own crypto is open source, it is very likely for banks to use only the capabilities of blockchain tech and not ripple or crypto itself.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin for Year of the dog (2018) on: January 01, 2018, 11:04:44 PM
Since 2018 is year of the dog, do you think investors will be interested in Dogecoin?
I was thinking if a lot of investors will be interested in dogecoin, maybe it will go up more just a $1.
What do you think about it?
Even if it is the year of the dog, I know that some will be interested to buy doge but it will only generate a little hype to pump price a little but it won't go up to 1$. Big investors would not be interested to profit from a little hype and for this reason I assume that they won't invest into dogecoin. Although that is the case, small scale investors and day traders would surely be interested to invest into dogecoin but it won't boost the price up to 1$. If ever, I only think doge will reach double or triple of it's current price.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 YEAR OF THE DOG,SHOULD I BUY DOGE? on: December 30, 2017, 11:27:02 PM
We all know that doge is the most shit of all shitcoin, thats the fact. How does the new year will affect to its price?
It will surely rise but don't expect it to be that profitable because there is a probability of it rising a little but it won't last long. It would be more profitable to invest to other alts rather than investing into dogecoin now. It also ain't being developed further so it won't possibly pump much again. New year somehow will only generate a little hype into it since it is the year of the dog like you say, and some people will think of buying doge because of it. It will temporarily affect price though and will soon wear out.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Site to sell Gulden and other altcoins? on: December 29, 2017, 10:35:25 PM
I really need to sell some altcoins, but the site I used to use isn't working anymore (No clue why). The two major coins I need to sell are Bitcoin cash and Gulden. If anyone happens to know a good site or multiple sites to sell these coins, please let me know.
You can sell Gulden and Bitcoin Cash on bittrex since they are both listed there according to coinmarketcap. You can also sell other altcoins there but maybe some of what you are planning to sell ain't listed there. If possible list the other altcoins that you would like to sell for others to determine what exchange is good and convenient for you to use. If you don't want to list them here one by one, you can figure it out yourself using coinmarketcap.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An eco-friendly organic token called Beefcoin on: December 28, 2017, 11:33:51 PM
Beef coin was created for the expansion of it restaurant that provides a combination of excellent food at value pricing. It offers cuisine to uplift the food by catching the interest of the customers with its variety of eco-friendly products and to be the best restaurant that offer products which are of best quality at an affordable price to meet the demand of the consumers. They are using sophisticated technologies which are vital to the efficient production of organic products. In today’s highly competitive environment, it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish one food outlet from another but beefcoin were able to identify itself because of the organic products that are fresh from the farm.  Even though they are coping to the demand of the business industry, they were able to keep up with their competitors and gain the customers loyalty because of its "Meat Desire" restaurants that offers natural organic food.
Bitcoin can be used to buy and sell beef/beef products/beef technology. Why do you need to have a new coin for this?

I fully agree, not just Bitcoin, but any currency or token can solve this problem, I believe that the project should show more utilities than buying and selling meat.
That just show this project's future. For now it is trying to gain money by investors using their current concept. If they won't improve their coin, it is sure to be welcomed as one of the shitcoins who temporarily had value. It will surely have no value in the future if ever this coin will only be used to buy and sell beef. In fact, it is easier to sell beef on marketplaces and use fiat for every transactions, most of those who are in the meat industry are not that inclined to use tech after all.
372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why MUST Bitcoin crash and have another winter? on: December 27, 2017, 10:39:19 PM
It doesnt need to crash, if fact, if it crashes again a lot of people are going to lost their trust again.. and the price will collapse again. Just remember that people are only interested on their money, not on how bitcoin is doing.

You are right that it doesn't need to crash, but price falling down greatly resulting into crash is inevitable and will surely happen at some point. It ain't related to 2013 but I say that it is inevitable because people who use btc mostly holds Bitcoin for speculation purposes and it will be a factor of a crash. I can imagine it happening when there are uncertainty in btc and if by that time it is still profitable to sell for some holders. I can't say it is soon to happen though. Who knows, maybe that crash will happen when btc is above 50,000$ and it will only get price to return to 10,000$.
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Look like Christmastimes discount is over ? on: December 26, 2017, 11:09:37 PM
Price looks stable at $15,900 and discount for bitcoin might over as it's going to be prepared and ready for another pump. And if you are able to buy some of it or just a portion of it you got a good decision but if you are still waiting and hoping for it to come down then you are doing it wrong. I guess the Christmas discount also goes and represents the New year discount so everyone is expecting it's price to surge not to plummet.
Still it is a discounted price of Bitcoin considering it has reached 20,000$ a few weeks ago. It surely is being readied for a pump though but this makes me wonder if it is manipulated or not because for me it looks like someone is manipulating it via news and for now he/she/they are succeeding in the manipulation of bitcoin. I just hope that price surges by new year's eve. It would be a nice year opener if btc rises by then.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ultimate ATH of Bitcoin in 5 years?? on: December 24, 2017, 11:41:11 PM
"I am sending this message from 2025. The situation here is lousy, and some of you are responsible for it"

The world is ruined in 2025....

Take away points
---------------------------
So stay up to 2021 at least and get $1M/BTC
Then party hard and die before 2025

 Cool

Anyways it is easy to do what he does

2010 $0.1
2011 $1
2012 $10
2013 $100
------------------
2015 $1,000
2017 $10,000
2019 $100,000
2021 $1,000,000
------------------
2024 $10,000,000
2027 $100,000,000
2030 $1,000,000,000
2033 $10,000,000,000
------------------
2037 $100,000,000,000
2041 $1,000,000,000,000
2045 $10,000,000,000,000
2059 $100,000,000,000,000
What kind of lunacy is that? I am sure you are one of those trolls pretending to send that message from the future but I hope your btc price prediction is right. Still, I dont want your prediction about the world being damned by 2025. For now, it makes sense that there is a probability for the world to be ruined by 2025 considering how things are proceeding in the world out there but saying bitcoin speculators are responsible for it is too far off. Why would some of us be responsible for it in the first place?
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin drop so fast!! on: December 21, 2017, 10:33:07 PM
Did you know guys what will happen on bitcoin after xmas?  Because as i see bitcoin decreasing rapidly on this time.  Please share your thoughts about this happening.  If it will continue to collapse or it will rise before xmas?
It is possible that it will rise before Christmas or by Christmas Eve but it is highly likely for it to decrease after Christmas this time unless it will repeat what happened last Christmas. If it will continue to collapse, I guess the main reason for it is the slow transactions and high fees not being solved for a long period of time. Personally I don't want the chart to be bloody this Christmas so I hope it will go back to at least 17k$ price range.
376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going down. on: December 20, 2017, 11:58:29 PM
Hi guys I am a newbie and tell me please that why the price of bitcoin goes to decrease? please tell me the main reason because I like this coin and when it's price goes to decrease I am very worried.
It is normal for bitcoin price to decrease sometimes since it is not always going up. It is just normal for it to dip when price have stabilized to a certain point after rise. I am also sure that when operation dragonslayer has been unfold, then you will be more worried about it since price will dump greatly when it  succeeded. The best thing to do now if you are into this for long term is to not look at price often. Come back and gather news here once a month if you are holding it for years.
377  Economy / Economics / Re: May Or May Not any Digital Currency disturb Any country's Economics?? on: December 19, 2017, 10:14:30 PM
The change in the economy won't take place overnight. It needs respective time space to grow and make a positive impact on the economy of the country. Governments fear that adapting bitcoin might affect the economy as well won't have control in hands. I believe more countries will adopt bitcoin seeing the growth that Japan has attained through bitcoin.
For now at least I think btc won't greatly impact economics of a country. Since it is just a currency, of would just be used as a payment processor and it really doesn't change the fact that citizen paid btc but have bought it mostly by using fiat. If there would be some effect, it would just open a new opportunity for citizens to earn money. It will only affect economics greatly if there are many whales in a certain country and if price is X100 higher than the current price.
378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Go Up Or Down Next Week? on: December 18, 2017, 09:08:54 PM
The price dropped a lot last night. Don't know if it can go up or down next week. Want to buy more.
If I were you I would buy more even if this price turns out to be a high one because we all know that in the long run, it will still give us profit since it is expected for btc to go above 100k$+ in the future. If you are in for the long run, then don't mind investing now even if it can go up or down. Better yet, do not invest it all at once choose entry points cheaper than this price but buy some today. That way you can profit if it pumps and you can buy again when it dumps.
379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value surge past $17,000, Is it Safe to Invest Now? on: December 16, 2017, 11:42:49 PM
As the price of Bitcoin soars a new all time high of $17,000 Many Financial experts have Cautioned about Investing in Bitcoin, Stating BITCOIN could be a bubble up to blast.

Please Guide me what should I do?
It is not a bad time to invest now but it ain't the best either so if you want to invest it is up to you whether to do it or not since it ain't that dangerous to invest now but it ain't that safe either. Just invest what you can afford to lose so that in the end you wont regret what you did in the log run. Either way if youre in for a long term investment then don't mind the price now you will profit in the future either way. Price rise now might be a bubble but bitcoin itself isn't.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How effective are bounty campaigns for ICOs? on: December 15, 2017, 11:13:32 PM
Do bounty campaigns really generate Token sales? and do the bounty hunters really get rich by such campaigns?
Bounty campaigns can generate a lot of sales after all it disemminates information to any investors lurking in this forum as well as social media sites effectively. It is also more cost lower and more effective because the one who sees it directly are it's intended audiences which is crypto users with potential to invest. Bounty hunters can get a nice sum of btc from it too if the token got potential. It can't get them to richness though but they can use it to add a hefty sum in their portfolio for trading.
