3601  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 13, 2020, 01:18:27 PM
Good day,
forgive a newbie question please. I am new on the bitcoin scene and I am also pretty fresh in economics. I am learning, I suppose that is what I wanted to say. I was an ignorant for a way to long and now I trying to gain knowledge to be a little wiser. I got a bit lost because of the pandemic and I wonder is it good to invest in bitcoin and stock market nowadays or should I wait and see what is the market response going to be. I was pretty sure I got a hang of it but the situation changes so dynamically that it is hard for me to follow.
The situation right now for a newbie is very difficult because the market can change the trend any time especially if there's a news. I'm not saying that you should panic, what I'm saying here is that you have to be more careful on investing and always do your research even if you plan to buy bitcoin. The pandemic doesn't affect the whole cryptomarket because there's a pump in the past months and that is a good side of a good market. You need to learn more, don't think negative and boost your confidence so you can know when to buy and sell cryptocurrency.
3602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNI Token Eligible Wallet To claim free Uni token! on: October 13, 2020, 12:43:23 PM
I had one similar wallet which has a UNI claim in it but, I lost its access details later I browse through my old laptop, and I saw that address was still linked/added in metamask so I was successfully able to claim my UNI token.
This is a different case since you are able to recover the details of your wallet and to OP, I hope you recover it too so you can use that UNI airdrop for your personal needs and plans. There's a lot of incidents that we loss are private keys, this is why I created many files and back up on every wallet that I have, so when the airdrop like this come I have the confident that I still have my access on my wallets.
3603  Economy / Gambling / Re: MarsBet Bitcoin Payment - 999.000€ Daily Pull - %10 Unlimited Cashback on: October 12, 2020, 10:07:43 PM
What I can see is that this casino is established many years ago. That does not say anything about the reputation though.
Somebody from the forum already tried it?
They are new in cryptoworld so maybe they just adopted the new technology, but being established for many years doesn’t guarantee a good future and reputation. I don’t want to try this one since it requires KYC before you withdraw, its not convenient and this is something that the gambling site must consider since they are on a cryptoworld where KYC is not advisable as much as possible.
3604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 projects that will fly in 2020-2021 on: October 12, 2020, 09:24:34 PM
We all have the top 10 list of good coins and tokens that will fly high in the coming years and I respect the list of OP above. I have a different list for this one aside from BTC and ETH because I created my own strategy and have analyze many tokens in the past days. Anyway, I still believe on DeFi projects and most of my top ten projects are DeFi.
3605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 12, 2020, 01:55:45 PM
Which wallet do you like the most? Personally I really like Exodus, the only con is that it's not fully open source, but other than that it's a great wallet!

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?
Electrum is the best if you want more bitcoin Address, MyEthereumwallet is also great for the bounties and you can easily have one. The address that you’re looking for will depend on your needs, and since you are looking for multiple address, you must understand the risk of it. Every wallet has its own advantages and disadvantages, categorize it base on your standard.
3606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone bet on the sharks yet ? on: October 12, 2020, 01:07:57 PM
I think it is not possible for us to bet on White Sharks. As far as I know they are the most dangerous kind of sharks out there. And beside this I am never a fan of animal fighting or sea creatures fighting or whatever creature without logic to bet on them.
As stated on the OP, the betting on Great White Sharks are not about fighting or any animal cruelty but its more on the migration journey maybe on what place they will be on their next food hunting. I'm not a fan of this as well, and I have no idea how the Animal behave especially on a vast and deep ocean. I don't feel any entertainment here, well bettors must understand this first before putting some money.
3607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese central bank to airdrop 10 million digital yuan on: October 11, 2020, 09:57:26 PM
Unfortunately, this is not for all but for chinese citizens. The digital currencies is gradually gaining attraction and china has been a known supporter from day one. we will get to see more of these happening and why cryptocurrency will go mainstream. hopefully, other nations might adpot this same process but will there be a stimulus packages Just like china.?
Its an Airdrop mate that only means that its only available to the lucky receivers of the free digital Yuan, you have to understand the population of China. Anyway, this is a big start for Digital currency and I hope to hear China to finally support bitcoin same with the other nation. I heard that US is also creating their own digital currency, let’s see if they going to push it through.
3608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the U.S. Presidential Election 2020 with Bitcoin on: October 11, 2020, 01:09:59 PM
Everyone has the right to own choice, of course, but personally I wouldn't bet with Bitcoin on presidential elections. To my opinion it's very tight fight and very hard to predict the final outcome so I wouldn't risk Bitcoins for that.
The probability to win here is very high since we only have two options and this is what gambling is all about. Well, if you're not confident then at least have your bet without spending any bitcoin. Aside from Cloudbet I don't have any option for the betting site especially the US election since its not available on may crypto gambling site, if you still didn't fine one better to bet against your friends using your bitcoin, it can be fun and profitable as well.
3609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 10, 2020, 09:56:23 PM
The market as at now.

Cryptocurrency trading is largely based on history with activities repeating itself every now and then with traders who are able to analyze correctly seem to always win the day. In the first and early phase of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of trading activities dropped, causing a rather significant change in price of which seemed threatening and logical to watch out for in light of the resurfacing of the pandemic for a second time. This has left most traders in disarray as they tend to exchange their coins for stable coins and also withdraw from the market.
[...]

That is good point here. Not only the crypto currencies but many assets like commodities, stocks, metals and shares has got affected with this pandemic. Seriously we have seen two types of effects here, I mean I have seen shares tearing apart while metal like Gold risen in it's value crazy high!!

Surely it is most weirdest year ever for any kind of investment. I mean whether they are from the crypto space or from the real currency trading platforms. All of them suffered equally. However, let us not forget crypto currencies are still holding up pretty nicely here when rest of the economy is going down. It's strong pillar of investment right now.
Trading Cryptocurrency during pandemic is still profitable because we didn’t dump that much, my only problem is that I have to cash out some of my holdings so I can support my daily needs and this is why I missed many opportunities during the pump and dump trend. Those who have extra enjoys that moment but those who are suffering financially because of pandemic, they have to liquidate their assets. Trading can help us, good result will come in the market and we will rise again.
3610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Japan to begin digital currency proof-of-concept in 2021 on: October 10, 2020, 01:12:40 PM
Japan always adopt new technology and most of the time, they started that technology so this is not new to me, and I’m glad that Japan also support cryptocurrency which can attract many investors. Western countries should also do the same thing, and of course the developing countries. There’s no bad on adopting new technologies, you just have to done it properly, hopefully Japan continues to support Bitcoin.
3611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ROPE On The Rise on: October 09, 2020, 11:50:32 PM
There’s no new about the pump and hyping it wont help in the long run. A small pump is fine but if there’s a huge pump then something good is happening on that specific project. I’m not familiar with this token honestly and have to look for more details before I speculate, if there’s a good product the future is good as well that’s one thing I’m sure with.
3612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 09, 2020, 10:35:25 PM
If you are a sport bettor then it is important to check the recent form of player/team and lot of other stuffs which can change the result of the match to be analyzed before going to bet, and it is better to go with very last time you can bet so you will have more accuracy on your collected information.Maybe it is affecting the gambler's fortune but still people will adapt to it and this is new normal in everything.
It’s hard to tell if the players is experiencing a mental health issues since the team wont expose that so we can only trust them knowing the history of the team and that is very hard to analyze. Anything can happen now on the sports betting, the team may look more fit but when they step in into the battle field, the result can change. This pandemic makes the situation more unpredictable, players are still doing their best though.
3613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Price History] Some of the best projects of altcoins on: October 09, 2020, 09:45:10 PM
That’s the top altcoins and yes since then they are doing great on the market and they prove that they can also follow the trend of bitcoin. ETH and XRP keeps on developing and improving their blockchain technology, I’m looking for more update with the LTC and not just a fork. I believe the future of these 3 top altcoins is huge and they will make new all time high in the next bull run watch closely these 3.
3614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 08, 2020, 11:01:58 PM
There’s a legal way not to pay any taxes, John McAfee don’t know how to use these laws in favor to him and not he’s facing a biggest fight of his life or else he’ll be in jail. Tax evasion is not good because its your obligation to pay correct taxes so if you get caught, you have to face the consequences of being greedy.
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is House Edge and how it effects gambling on: October 08, 2020, 10:08:24 PM
I would like to know What is House Edge and how it effects gambling ?
I am not new in gambling but still never understand this term clearly.
This is the edge of the gambling developer against the players so technically if the house edge is very high the chance to win on that gambling site is very low which every gamblers don’t like. This must be balance since gambling site wants to create profit as well same as the players. This is so easy to understand mate, and also important to know before you gamble.
3616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone inside this paid trading group ? on: October 08, 2020, 09:44:31 PM
I came accross this trading group on telegram they charge .06 btc to become a lifetime member, is anyone part of it ? are the trades any good ? Please dm me or reply let me know what you think

You can learn to trade without joining them and without paying anything especially right now that there’s a lot of way to learn how to trade. I don’t participate on any pump and dump group especially that one who ask you to pay big amount of money. They can claim if that’s a good group for a newbie trader, but it can be a big trap as well so be careful.
3617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔴Defi meets NFT !!! After DEGO NFT hype now NFT is the new Trend 🔴 on: October 08, 2020, 09:23:24 PM
Yes I kinda agree with you. NFT will soon see a big interest in coming days as soon as defi hype died
The hype of defi does not die just because of NFT, precisely if DeFi meets NFT it will make a very big collaboration, like what DEGO is doing today.
We’ll see this one and if DEGO succeed then expect for this token to get more expensive. There’s a lot of development on-going with the other project and yes the hype on DeFi is still here maybe they are just waiting for the next cycle of pump because the DeFi project goes up again. The price of getting those NFT is quiet risky for me, especially if there’s no guarantee that I’ll received a higher value of NFT, anyway many dump their platinum and diamond already that makes it more cheaper.
3618  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC - What next? on: October 08, 2020, 12:01:19 PM
We are so near to end the sideways trend and break the resistance level, I know the bottom was hit already and the time for a pump is about to come. The next trend will become more powerful in terms of volume, remember that we are on a last quarter of 2020 and we all want to end this year on a good level with bitcoin, the next up trend in the next big thing.
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 07, 2020, 11:50:58 PM
Time can tell, the price is not moving yet despite of the good news of many good projects, the adoption of blockchain technology is increasing this is still a good news for a long term cryptomarket goal. Participate now to enjoy the future of cryptocurrency, its hard to just watch the market pumping. I do personally hold some bitcoin and good altcoins, waiting for the next cycle of up trend.  Cheesy
3620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: October 07, 2020, 09:37:30 PM
If the use of any illegal thing is increasing day by day then it only means that it is readily available and easily usable in the market.
The owners place these illegal slot machines because it is readily available, easy to tweak, lower installation cost and they know that the customers would surely use it.
^ That's definitely true, people who are in gambling because they gamble.
Illegal or legal, they are there to take the risk. They already knew the consequences but something is giving them the power to pursue gambling even if the platforms they use are illegal. They wouldn't care.
Their thrill for risky activities is being rewarded by these platforms so be it. Nevertheless, the fact that the unlicensed casinos are always doubtful because that probably of not having a provably fair system.
Its increasing because some of the government official support this one and they are protected by the policemen and this is happening in my country. Even if they broke many illegal machines they can’t stop this one not until those corrupt officials are gone. I don’t want to risk my life just to try playing on this illegal machine, those who money that you make on illegal things wont last.
