^^ Much better to just parlay 3 matches, it seems that it is really unpredictable. You will expect someone to be a great clay surface players and then take a 2 set lead, lost the next 2 and then tight 5 set.

I'm maybe speaking some games tonight, but I will probably go with Berrettini, Karatsev and Musetti combine either ML or over/under.
3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 03, 2021, 08:13:19 AM
And obviously, someone need to stop Young, just the question of what game plan they have against Trae and then Simmons bringing his A game without Joel. But I think Sixers is going to win ithe series in six games.
Luka Doncic making his own record at Clippers' home.
Winning this game will give them a chance to end it at Dallas for homecourt advantage.

Luka is owning the Clippers in their home court. Kristap hitting that corner 3 and then Kawhi air ball? what can you say more about this series, lots of ups and downs, battle of spurts and in the end hard to say who will going to win because it was really close.

I'll take Sixers to win that series against the Atlanta Hawks, Sixers has deeper bench, even George Hill can guard Trae one on one. Harris will play an important role here if Embiid cannot play in this series. 20-30 points for him in this game.
3603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO the best way to invest in cryptocurrency? on: June 02, 2021, 02:10:40 PM
...Is ICO/IEO/ITO the best way to invest in cryptocurrency now?...

I think their is no definite answer to this, it should be based on how you wanted to do, long term or short term. Those ICO in the past produce good returns because we are in the bull run that time, so obviously, the price goes up and many profited easy short term. And after the bull run is finished, those projects tanks, the price goes to even less than a dollar, so if you hold that long then you are going to be disappointed.

So there's no one size fits all in investment.
3604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 02, 2021, 01:14:48 PM
I'm a fan of climbing, but I haven't bet on the game itself, and thanks to the OP, this is the first time that I heard about betting on the game.

So still there are odds and other betting options, which make it more exciting. But for gamblers though, better first learn the odds given, it's not just a simple game as it seems. And there could be few surprises and upsets just like any other sports.
3605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 02, 2021, 12:36:10 PM
Lillard was so hot, he was fighting all night and bring the game into double OT, unfortunately, the team came out short as they have no defense on Jokic. It's a very bad move by Nurkic, he should stay patient as he is the only one who can stop Jokic in the paint.

This is the NBA playoffs game for you and we will see more of this kind of action in the second round where the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks will face each other. this is the best match so far since they both beat their last opponent with no mercy especially the Bucks where they beat the defending eastern conference champion. Game 1 will start on June 5 you better watch this first one so you will have an idea how intense the next games would be.

I agree with you, Nets have the offense, but Bucks have the best defense so far.
Giannis and Lopez could dominate the paint, I'm not sure how the Nets will stop them in the paint.
For their defense, Holiday can Guard Kyrie, while Bucks can also make some good outside shooting with the young guns and Middleton.

I can't wait to see the game 1, FYI, Nets are the favorites to win the series, they also have the home court advantage.

It will still be a close series though, might go to 7 game decider.

Nets still rely on their big 3, but Bucks has more options now and Giannis doesn't need to carry the scoring load as Middleton can cover for him. So it will be offense vs defense, big 3 against Giannis all around play. I wonder though who will P.J. Tucker guard on the big 3, he has help the Bucks this year with his defense and corner 3, would love to see him against Durant in the post. That will be interesting, or lock down his former team mate, James Harden.
3606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 02, 2021, 11:44:46 AM
Delbonis vs Andujar might be a good game to watch later.
Could be, two clay specialists going at each other. I am expecting a tough battle, probably even a 5 set match. Therefore, my bet for this one is over 36.5 games which should pass if get at least 4 sets.

Another spot on analyst mate, 5th set now, Andujar was broken early, but he is back serving to tie the score at 3-3. I have Delbonis -2.5 but other entry in the parlay already lost, Zverev -8.5. Zverev won but it's a tough 3 setter against Safiulin.

Bautista Agut is also down 1 set, but there's plenty of tennis ahead, so I do hope that he can come back and win his game.

@buwaytress -yes a lot of unfamiliar names, try ML yesterday but there's still upsets from time to time. Really hard to predict games today. I did some YOLO today odds, ended up @42 odds but lost early when Zverev can cover the spread against an unknown player.

3607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 31, 2021, 08:57:29 AM
I think the biggest problem here is butler, he is not playing at a high level, I guess his average in the first round is not even 20 ppg.
look at the stats, it's very low compared to the previous playoffs.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/butleji01/gamelog-playoffs/
Correct. He's back from being the inconsistent player.  Cry Sad to see them lose the playoffs from being the Eastern Conference Champions last year.
I can still remember how great Butler that time playing against Lebron James. It can be the greatest time of his career where the spotlight is all him and Lebron just going back and forth to score and defend at high level even with exhaustion.
Let's just hope next year it will be different.

Suns win again. Yey! Hit my +6.5. CP3 looking good again with his mid range shots hitting the net. Sprained shoulder is gone and it gives energy to the Suns team.

On the other hand, it's Lakers problem with AD got injured. So CP3 has recovered, good job by their trainers and we can see that he can hit that medium jump shots again.

Lakers and the Sun and Dallas and Clippers both 2-2 now, really hard to predict this series because of swing momentum and then we have injuries on key players. Congrats on your +6.5 hit mate, there are still a lot of games ahead of us.
3608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where you when bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and other altcoins reach ATH on: May 31, 2021, 08:19:03 AM
where you when bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and other altcoins reach ATH. at that time what did you do. buy more? sell all the coins in your portfolio? or just keep quiet because you think it's too late to follow the trend.

No, I didn't sell any during their all time high, I just continue to hold.

When you look at the market today, are you sorry you made that decision?

Not really, although it's hard to look at your portfolio going down, but most likely this is just another bump, I'm still seeing a bull run before the end of the year.

I personally regret selling before the coins I own reach their highest price. but glad that the decision wasn't entirely wrong. seeing the bad state of the market today, I am grateful for the choice I made. so what about you, what choice did you make?

Good for you, but for those holders like me, you are not at a lost if you are not selling.  In any case, I can't say you made the bad or good decision, it's your choice that counts at the end of the day.
3609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 31, 2021, 02:33:45 AM
Easy call for the Thiem upset, Andujar also upset Federer right? and couple with that Thiem's injury and it seems he haven't recovered from it.

Federer, Nadal, Djokovic next, we will see how this top seed will do.

Watch out for Schwartzman, he might fold early as well,  Grin. Another player that I love to bet against with specially if he is the favourite.
3610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Congressman Warren Davidson on the subject of green energy and Tesla on: May 31, 2021, 02:08:17 AM
At least it's good to hear a congressman giving Elon Musk some pointers and then hinting about Tesla's power consumption as well and then the his manipulation of the market.

Let's see if Elon will reply, because we can clearly see what's Elon up to with his kind of rehearse arguments about bitcoin and then the obvious shilling of Doge.
3611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 30, 2021, 06:22:16 PM
I didn't expect this but it has happened, Donaire won against Oubaali and I guess this will be the open gate towards the Inoue, this rematch will considering an act of revenge if he will able to win the match. Donaire now has on the record of (47 fights - 41 wins - 6 losses) it is very matching to Inoue.

Yes, it seems that Donaire has found his second win, so it's Donaire vs Inoue 2, I'm expecting that to happen. Or getting the winner of Casimero vs Rigo, that will also be exciting match, fellow Pinoy against each other or he will get his revenge against Rigo.

A big congrats to those who bet with him, is there anyone else here committing that they had also won the same as Donaire's achivement.

Gamblers will always love an underdog, so for sure riding on Nonito is a great achievement specially if you are a Filipino.
3612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 30, 2021, 05:25:13 PM
The Heat was eliminated sooner than what I expected hehe. Nets vs. Bucks is the series that I want to see and I hope they finish the Celtics in five games. No offense to the Sixers fans but whoever wins the BKN-MIL series will be crowned East conference champs.

That will be a huge match up if Nets vs Bucks will go against each other.

What's happening on the other side of L.A? I'm not underestimating the Mavs but it would be a huge disappointment if Clippers go out this early. Be consistent Paul!

The Clippers are still alive after winning game 3, Kawhi and Paul George takes it personally when Luka was clowning them in the first 2 games. They are still the favourite base on the betting line. There are reports though that Luka might be slightly injured and listed as probable. KP is MIA in this series.
3613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin help stop the funding of wars? on: May 30, 2021, 04:46:44 PM
So one of the most popular narratives I see is that the utilization of Bitcoin would help put an end to the illegal funding of wars overseas. How do you figure this?

Bitcoin is not design like that, on the contrary, there could be proponents that will tell you that it is being used by terrorists group to send funds across border to fuel wars. That has been the narrative that's why you will hear anti-bitcoin sentiments because of this one. BTC is traceable.

Again, btc is not like a magic bean that will end wars, poverty and every other know problems in the society.

3614  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 29, 2021, 12:48:20 PM
As of this time the price of Bitcoin is around the 33-34k usd range. Will it drop to sub 30k or rebound to a higher price point?

If we look at last 10 days, the prices of around 33k and the the rebound has generally happened and even crossed till 40k. So this give me cushion that prices can rebound well. So any fall like again btc is now at 35k gives me a chance to buy some and sell when it rises back as per my short term strategy. So I am happy with that as these momentum gives you money as well, if you are ready to invest in short period.

$40k is the big barrier, how many times then we attempt to break it and failed? I count 3x already.

I'm not saying that we are in a bearish cycle, but the price keeps on fluctuating around $30k-$39k and it might take some time before we finally see a break out run. Possible to break to sub $30k, but it's slim, we have a support like around $32k. So let the price fluctuates though, it's very volatile in the last weeks or so, we just need to take advantage of the current market conditions. It could send a signal that we should buy more.
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 29, 2021, 12:00:07 PM
Tatum carrying the Celtics on his shoulder, and then Marcus Smart playing good defense on Kyrie and then scoring 23 points himself. Boston now that the momentum. Harden (41) and Durant (39) also putting big numbers, but aside form the big 3, no one from Nets scored double digits.
TD Garden fans were heard. Somehow we are now feeling the crowd impact.
Chants and boo are for Kyrie and he scored only 2 points in the first half if I remember correctly.
But that doesn't stop Harden and Durant that made the game longer and more heart trembling.

Do you guys think Tatum can keep this up? What if an off night comes? Who will be there to step up and score for the team?
Kemba had been inconsistent like this is his first rodeo in the playoffs. Smart is not really a scorer.
Their last ace will be Fournier and they must look for a way to build him in a short span of time.
I bet Coach Nash and Asst. Coach Mike D'Antoni is already preparing their defensive strategy for Tatum.
I think the booing really affected Kyrie's game here, he seems to be very aggressive, even fouling Smart shooting 3, and then he has good looks but missing shots.

Obviously, Tatum continue to score even with Durant guarding him, Thompson and Smart also contributed that's why they were able to offset Harden and Durant. So time for Nash to go back to the drawing board and will have to look on how to nuetralized Tatu next game. Forget about Kemba, he is not performing well even before the playoffs, looks like he is on a slump.

Kyrie just had a bad night, he has been booed when he left the Cavaliers so he is very familiar with this kind of crowd. Maybe he just trying to push himself in this game to get a win. But Boston play their cards very well, climbing back an then Tatum's 50 points.

And with the help coming from TT and then Marcus Smart hitting outside shot, then play good defense and not allowing outside of the big 3 to score. They know they can't shut down any of the big 3, so they focus on outside help, like Harris who can't even score double digits, a total contrast on his last game.
3616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 29, 2021, 10:46:11 AM
Sixers vs Wizards, - I think it will be a sweep? I'm taking -6.5 @1.96.
Yes. A large possibility.
The Bucks may also finish this first round early. The Heat just don't have the capability to answer all the attacks from the Bucks.
Combining both games gives a better portion of profits so I'd rather do that with a parlay.

Good day for me, Denver Nuggets as underdogs against the Portland Trail Blazers.
I trust Jokic will put this in 3-1 then celebrate the win at home. Now that they discovered Austin Rivers capability on outside shots, they could spread the floor more and Porter Jr. could use some space to shoot the ball.
Nuggets Moneyline. 2.50

I agree, haven't heard news though about Westbrook, is he gonna play? If yes maybe he is not 100% so that will be a negative against the Wizards. Unless Bradley Beal has a big game like Tatum to carry the Wizards against Sixers, I think it's gonna be 4-0 sweep of the Wizards.

Yeah, good ML for Nuggets, they've already proven they can beat them at their home court. Probably Jokic another triple double performance. Austin Rivers just exploded in the 4th, I do hope he can repeat his performance again.
3617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans mining is good for Bitcoin on: May 29, 2021, 10:16:04 AM
It is really for good or this is just another fake and negative news coming from the Chinese government?

Bitcoin's bull run history:

2013 - they said they gonna ban bitcoin mining
2017 - same statement
2021 - same statement

So I would say that we need to take everything with a grain of salt news coming from them. It's pretty obvious that during bitcoin's historic bull run, this kind of statements always floats around and so far we haven't see any concrete evidence, everything is hearsay.
3618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 28, 2021, 08:33:06 AM
I think the Lakers will be able to beat the Suns without much effort (maybe 4x1).

I feel the performance of CP3 is not 100%, even with Booker and Ayton standing out, I don't know if they will be in the same level as LJ and AD, and i see, Schröder is standing out too, in the last game he scored 20 points.

That's what I'm seeing as well, Suns can't depend on the Lakers on the inside, Ayton is so small compared to the bigs of the Lakers who would dominate. Suns needs to play a fast pace game but they aren't doing it well, so we are seeing them struggling.

I lose my bet as I thought the Suns could somehow win the handicap, but that late surge was quite a big short.

Ayton is big no doubt about it, but he has to take 2 big men, Drummond is a perfect match for him, but with AD around, will take a lot of energy and that's why they've been dominated by Lakers in the last two games.

And it seems that AD is on a different mission after the lost in game 1, and with James assist and his pass to Davis, will be hard for Suns to stop that.
3619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 28, 2021, 05:58:09 AM
Sorry @Jating

Regarding the mens side of the tournament, it looks like Nadal, Djokovic and Federer
are all on the same side of the draw! this means that everyone on the other side
have been handed a carrot in a chance for a semi/final slot.

More info on R1 > https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/results/SM?round=1

Oh, what an unlucky draw for the big three, and this is the first time if I'm not mistaken.

Not very smooth sailing on the other draw as well, Medvedev vs Bublik in the first round, while Federer's conqueror Andujar will face Thiem.

In the ladies, Barty vs Swiatek might face each other in the semis.
3620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jobs at Apple: Business Development Manager – Alternative Payments on: May 27, 2021, 11:59:51 AM
Maybe. Probably when Coinbase released their earnings report Apple was like "dude wtf this crypto thing is a cash cow, let's get in on that" or something like that.

Don't get your hopes up though, requiring knowledge in a certain product probably doesn't necessarily mean that the product they're going to be working on is going to be about that certain product.

That “product”, I hope, will not be the development for another shitcoin/token to use as “rewards” for their appstore. That’s the only reason, i believe of why Apple is looking for people with cryptocurrency experience to hire. It will be ironic because Apple is one of the biggest tech companies in the world.

This is what I thought so, it doesn't automatically mean that Apple will accept bitcoin or any other crypto, they might be looking to development their own coins. Or at least crypto that is low in fee and has a transaction speed.

Of course, it will be closer to adoption if a huge company such as Apple started to accept crypto, but we shouldn't jump on the conclusion yet.
