Every fighter is confident though in facing anyone, that is there job. And we don't know if this is going to be exciting as it could be very quick like the Donaire fight with just a couple of rounds. Specially if that confident says that he can go toe to toe then it will be an easy and fast ending for Nery here.
What he should do is at least have a good plan in the fight, trying to feel Inoue and see if he can outsmart him. And then uses his power from time to time and score points on the judges scorecard. If if he lucky that the fight goes to distance, maybe he can win in the scorecard.
I think scoring points is not enough for him to win. We saw the quickness of Inoue, Nery cannot outplay Inoue if he uses a score and run technique. IMO, Nery should conserve his energy and go for KO, because once he hurt Inoue, there's a chance that he could knockout the champion. Nery should be confident, he must believe in his power becasue his record speak so, and although it's dangerous to go toe to toe with Inoue, but if it's the only chance for him to beat the monster, I think he should try to gamble. It will be enough as I have said if the fight goes to distance and judges will have to score the fight. But it should be very well convincing round win for Nery as this fight is in Inoue's home backward. I think you contradict your self by saying he should conserved his energy and go for the KO. You can't KO anyone if you are not throwing any power punch and it means their are no conservation of energy. Again, everyone is confident. Donaire was able to extend the fight in 12 rounds and for me this is the best way for anyone to beat Inoue. It's hard to score a KO in my opinion, maybe the closest blue print we have is how Donaire almost got Inoue in the first fight. |

This is what has been said by only the very few of the boxing fans in boxing forums and the fans in bitcointalk.org might be thinking that this is only a conspiracy theory if we mention it hehehee. If King Ry did not win against Devin Haney, I reckon everyone would remain to think that this is only a conspiracy theory. It is headshaking. Much of these fans want to think and only accept Tank Davis has won without speculating why and how. We were scammed by Tank. We should not support this type of person.
There’s no doubt Tank had an unfair advantage but Ryan bears some responsibility for agreeing to those terms. Canelo and Floyd have used similar tactics before, but it has not had much impact on their legacy. For me it diminishes their accomplishments, which is why I consider Beterbiev, Nakatani, and Bivol better pound for pound fighters than Canelo, even though many lists have him third only behind Inoue and Crawford. I think Ryan has no choice though, he is the B-side on that negotiations and we can say that he just wanted to fight Tank Davis. And there could be upside as well for him as far as PPV revenues and live gates and that's why he said yes. And he just try to make it real but telling the public that there is a rehydration clause and Davis camp didn't disagree with him and they justify that Ryan is too big for Tank that's why they inserted it in the contract. And most likely why Tank as much as he had that superstar power, is still behind with some fighters that you mentioned as far as greatness is because he just wanted to protect his 0 at all cost. Ryan sees an opportunity to make a big paycheck once he fight Tank Davis and it did happen. What's in the contract are valid, and since the fight happen, that means both have agreed to it, so Ryan could not come up with excuses on why he lose to Tank Davis. But that's the past, Ryan have live up his name now after he defeated Haney which is of his own size, and if we think that Ryan and Davis will meet again, then I think this controversy or excuses will come alive again, better these two will just move or stay to the weight limit they are comfortable with so they can always give their best to win. It's Tank's term to prove Ry accusation is incorrect. I have doubts he will respond to it though, all of those guys wanted to see themselves like Floyd being 50-0 undefeated til retired. They all want to be undefeated that's why they failed to take 8 division champ. If Ryan had thought about the rematch clause as well if he lost the fight, I think this issue between them would have been settled with another fight which there should have been 3rd as well. It would have been a bigger money for Ry too. But the kid was also being robbed of that opportunity. He got a good comeback through Devin. Ryan now demanded a rematch to Tank on his term. And it's a good decision by Ryan and his camp not to go for a immediate rematch, test the waters at 140 lbs and then when he felt confident he goes after the champion at Devin Haney. And then he doesn't want to drain himself, paid $1.5 million fees to the Haney, and what's interesting is, He bet on himself at $2 million, huge underdog at 6x-7x and so he he was able to recoup that money he paid to the Haney's. So as we have said, we have been played by Ryan and that's you can see how happy he is even after weeks of fight and partying because of the huge money he make. |

^^ Ok, with that news it's official that Derrick James and Errol Spence has separated already. But it's just sad to here that it's not amicably as based on that lawsuit, Spence still owns James a lot of money or at least from the Crawford vs Spence fight. They will still meet as the world of international boxing is small and since Ryan is interested in fighting Errol Spence it will be some sort of a grudge match. And enter Ryan Garcia, he said that he wants to fight Errol Spence now, Lol. Its seems that Ryan is calling everyone now. But in any case, for Oscar this is a good story board, Ryan wanted to knockout Spence for his trainer, sort of revenge story. If ever this fight will materialize, Spence better pay Derrick his dues so it will not become an issue, because Ryan will use this to distract Spence. It's still unclear who Ryan is going to fight but I lean on a Pitbull Cruz match since he keeps on bragging that he can easily beat Pitbull Cruz, I hope Pitbull disposes of Valenzuela so there's a possibility that the match between him and Ryan happen. I am interested to hear the side of Spence with regards to him owing money on his fight with Bud. But then there's a lawsuit already so we will figure out soon who's liable and who's not. Spence wanted Fundora for the WBO and WBC belt at 154. Tim who owns a rematch clause with Fundora is now facing Vergil Ortiz this coming August 3 which also includes Pitbull Cruz defending his WBO belt. Spence might get a shot at Fundora and then the winner faces Tszyu if the Aussie beats Ortiz. I don't know if Ryan is just hyping or he is serious about Spence. Spence has no interest at 147 anymore while Ryan's has zero experience at a full 147 weight. But I think Spence will easily destroy Ryan at 147 or above. If it was Spence banging those body shots Ryan would've folded but luckily it was Haney who has zero knockout since becoming a champion. Not sure but I read that he just paid $350,000 for Derrick James services and it's all verbal? And probably after he severed his ties with James, then Derrick will have to find a way to get at his money that he knows Spence own him. So the best way for him is to do it legally. But it's crazy what numbers Derrick are asking though. If ever Derrick wins here, I don't think the judge will award that in full, there could be some compromise. |

They started hot again just like in game 2, but this time, they make it sure that they are going to held on that lead. Good to see the D'Lo was able to get over that last game performance with 0 points, as he comes back with a big game and make it sure that they are not going to be sweep by the Nuggets.
D Lo was a difference maker here because if he struggled, then the swept might happen. He had 21 points and had a decent shooting, that was a relief because it would be too bad if the Lakers will be swept again. Now they just have to win game 5 and then 6 to have a very exciting game 7, I hope the Lakers fans now will continue to believe as the Lakers are trying to make a history. Lebron's legacy will be great if he can manage to bring the team to another win and at least force a game 6.
Why not push a game 7?  OKC too strong for the Pelicans, complete team, SGA again lead OKC but Josh Giddey put on a show with 21 points.
That's fact, and swept is inevitable with the way the OKC are playing. I thought they would struggle in the first round but they showed their dominance. Looking forward to a great 2nd round series, if it's vs Dallas would be better. So D'Lo make a statement in game 4 to at least bring the Lakers to another do or die game in Denver. Not bad from 0 to 20++ points and a great no look pass to Lebron for a highlight dunk. I said game 6 because numbers are against them at 0-3. So the best score we can see here in 4-2 in favor of the Lakers if they steal one in the road. Yep, OKC now leads 3-0, again, another team in a desperate must win. How about MJ Jr beating his idol KD and sweeping them? Phoenix needs a legitimate point guard next season. There big 3 is not clicking as well, and I will say worst that KD + Harden + Kyrie when they are with Brooklyn Nets. |

Bitcoin has it's halving in the last week or so, and it's been touted as the catalyst for a eventual bull run this year and up to 2025. Current price is at $62k give and take. But we have prediction that it could reach as high as $100k++ in this bull run, however, no one really can say what will be the biggest or new all time high. And thanks for accepting the fact the meme coins are not a good investment in the long. Maybe there are investors who makes a lot of money, but it's not for everything in my opinion. As compare to Bitcoin wherein, the goal here is to be a long term holder, and invest and have a plan like doing DCA. So best of luck to you and hopefully you will stay as Bitcoin investor. |

Have you guys seen the video of Inoue sparring against former title challenger Raymart Gaballo? It demonstrates the power, accuracy and speed of Inoue. Although Nery is heavier and more experienced than Gaballo. The video showed Gaballo wearing a head gear and we saw Inoue hurt former champions Stephen Fulton and Marlon Tapales and Nery is no different. But of course I am also interested what Nery can offer. He's like a Japanese assassin when he ended the long reign of former champion and p2p top 10 Shinsuke Yamanaka. What if there are no head gear? The result? Almost 90% KO rate for the Japanese. Definitely, Nery will show in this fight just like what others did feeling very confident. But once Naoya got into his rhythm I wouldn't be surprised that Nery going down early or another knockout win for the Monster year and then putting his name on top of the pound for pound list. Inoue is just getting stronger and I'm pretty sure that Nery is aware of that. As long as Nery is confident to face Inoue, we will surely see a an exciting fight, unless the pass opponents of Inoue that when they feel the power of Inoue, they change their style and become more defensive to prevent from getting knockout. That way, if they will do that, that's an easy win for Inoue and people will not be happy with their performance as that would only show they are just fighting to survive. But i feel that crypto and cash are real money the bank balance on my bank account i feel little sceptical yes banks are safe but still i need that feeling that at least some of my funds are under my own control.
I do hope that you heard about BYOB or Be Your Own Bank. So yes, that is the very definition of Bitcoin to us, as we have control. However, it has it's drawback, since we are in total then we need to protect it at all cost and this is where some of us fail. There are investors who lost their crypto to hackers because they don't know how to practice safety. Banks on the other hand, could be safe, however, our money is not going to grow with them. So you need to balance everything, maybe keep some cash in your hand in case of emergency and have some on banks and then majority in crypto as a form of investment but you need to learn how to keep it safe and private. Everything in this world has it's pros/cons and there is not a perfect system. And so the best thing to do is to make the best out of it, bank and crypto. |

Yes, that is great fight, if Ryan is moving up to 147 lbs and then wanted to test the former champion in Spence Jr, then sign the deal. For the lawsuit, it's big money that they are talking here and I agree that it's very bad to see how everything ends up with the two. As per article, Derrick James has been with Spence since his Olympic days or at least at the start of his boxing career and guided him to become a great boxer and a world champion. However, it looks like Spence doesn't want his services no more and so James have to get back what he think deserves of him as a payment for being a coach or mentor for Spence for many years. |

Upsets do happen all the time in boxing. But in this match, I believe, Canelo can still pull this off. Either KO or UD. For now, the odds is surely favouring Canelo. But if you believe there will be an upset, you can place bet on Munguia and get good profits if ever he can beat Canelo. The thing though from a boxing fans on why we think that maybe Canelo will be upset is, regardless of what we see on the Haney vs Garcia fight, a. In his last fight against Charlo, his opponent is not a natural super middleweight, he is a 154 lbs who moves up in weight. So Canelo has all the advantage in that fight. b. The Pelicans look like they’re cooked. They’ve got to be tired of seeing Zion sit on the sidelines at the end of every season. The Miami Heat don’t look far behind them either. The Boston Celtics are giving it to them right now. The main show for the day is getting ready to begin. Will Denver sweep the King once again on their way to a title?
Pelicans knew they were done when Zion got injured, it's not just the end of the season though. Guy is always injured. Miami screwed with Butler out and Denver will sweep Lebron and AD tonight. Maybe next year we see Lebron and Steph together. 5 minutes left in the game and looks like the Lakers will survive for a game 5. Up 15 gonna be hard for Denver to comeback from. The Lakers were just on tonight. They shot 8% better from the field than the Nuggets did and that was enough to get them the win tonight. Deangelo Russell had a great game and so did everyone on the Lakers pretty much. I have my doubts whether or not they’ll be able to put up similar numbers next game, but for LeBron’s legacy they came through tonight. With the halving event come and gone, we are now left to determine if the market now is going as predicted or not, with the reduction in mining rewards, which makes the supply of BTC low and demand high, investors can take advantages of this and adopt long positions and also invest in other altcoins,
After all the hypes leading to the previous halving event which drastically surge the price of Bitcoin at that time, investors are meant to invest before the halving and then sell after the demand, because demand Wil be high and supply will be low, which will aid the surge in price of BTC, thereby putting BTC in the bull direction, which will in turn affect other altcoins,
So in summary investing in BTC at this point in time should be our priority and other promising altcoins. And also taking Risk management strategies just incase the market becomes unfavourable.
Isn't it obvious though that no matter what cycle we are in, majority of the members here prioritized investing their money on Bitcoin and not on some promising altcoin. Definitely the demand will shoot off as we go, after the halving, predictions are 6 digits and there could be guesses that it could even reach $200k. Not much of a difference I guess even if we are now in the post-halving. DCA, accumulate Bitcoin as much as you can HODL till next year. This strategy has been proven already, so it's just a rinse and repeat process for us. Anyhow, I don't have anything against those who invest on altcoin, it can even give them huge profits as compare to Bitcoin, but still though, they are greater risk for investors as compare to BTC. |

^ I don’t think the Nuggets will be giving the Lakers anything. I think they want another sweep over LeBron to send a message. This will be an interesting game to watch though. I don’t think the Lakers win, but the thing to watch will be DeAngelo Russell and what sort of effort he brings to the table after seemingly checking out of the last game.
Yes, it's better to sweep them and not give the Lakers a chance and coach Malone sending the message. For sure the memories of last year's playoff are fresh and things have been said between them last year and it's like trash talking between the two. Nevertheless, the Nuggets again have the chance to sweep the Lakers and I don't know how the Lakers can come back here. Even if Russell scores in this game, I don't see much difference though, as the Nuggets is mentally built different, they have that championship DNA already, so another frustrating season for Lebron and it might end tonight. |

But goverment need to regulate just
Rent prices , energy prices ,food prices.
So If you want to put food price up then you need to be approved by goverment only then you can go over price limit.
We need wages up but same time our regular costs need to be not go over limits.
So things we need goverment must keep prices check becouse the economy is playground and goverment duty is to be judge that everybody play fair game.
If you want the regulate everything by the government, then it's not going to be easy as this could mean that you have to give up your freedom, hence you will be under a authoritarian government. And if you are living in a country that you can go and free, then I think you should be thankful already that you are earning money for a job and not procrastinate. Just to live in authoritarian country for a year, everything is regulated for you, food are subsidize and see how it goes. I don't understand why there are people who blame everything on their government though. |

I have a friend who is new to sports betting and he asks -
If his bankroll is $100 and he has been told not to use more than 5% of his bankroll per bet, what strategy should he use on this type of bankroll? His question is should he place $5 each on 20 different bets? Or is there a better approach that can be suggested?
Right now, NBA could be one of the sports that you could advise your friend to bet, why? NBA is on a playoff run, very much exciting as teams are giving everything they got per game as this is as series, best of 7 wins. But I wouldn't go that approach to bet 20 different bets though, that's a lot. I will carefully choose 1 or 2 with my $100 bet. Not sure though who advises him not to use more than 5%. But if I have that kind of bankroll, I will all bet it. |

I agree with that. I was jealous of a friend for so many times because he successfully HODL'ed a huge chunk of Bitcoin in his wallet while I was selling on that point of time. I was too doubtful and I think many Bitcoin holders did and after a good bull runs the urgency to sell will be there and it's hard to not sell.
My friend though was a pure holder for a long time and now he is sitting somewhere in the globe after withdrawing some of his funds. Now, I am the one trying to do the same thing but he will never know how much it will be as I don't want him to feel the same way as I did. I don't seek revenge, I just want the same experience as he did.
Well I don't go to that same experience, no jealously at all. But I have thought that there could be a lot of holders, when you go and read the forum and that they make a lot of money doing that "simply" HODL mentally. So I just keep quiet myself, and when we had that lockout in 2020, I started to do that, just HODL and buy during that period and I say that it's very hard in the beginning but I was able to accumulate Bitcoin that I never thought I would. And I would tend to agree to be lowkey, although I have several talks with some of my friends as well in crypto (they don't have any account here), but I never disclose how much I have or how much I earn and profited during the following bull run. |

Maybe Austin Reaves is the only player that I think will remain with AD and Lebron. D'Lo 0 points in a must-win game is unacceptable unless he comes back in game 4 with a big offensive flow and help the team win.
True but it's too late for Lebron, they need another star player that is as good as Murray so Lebron and AD could continue doing their job. I don't know if the salary cap can still accomodate but if they really need to improve, they should trade DLO, actually they should have done that before the trade deadline, they could have a more reliable shooter now. Yeah, he is already in his retirement age. Although we can't deny that he can still produce a very solid numbers but we've seen his impact, it's not as good as before. During his time, he lead the Cavaliers and Miami heat in the Finals, but this time, his team even struggled to be in the playoffs and looks like they are gonna exit again with a 0-4 score. Waiting for the Lakers to improve takes time than just leaving the Lakers and play with a proven superstar, but we will know that next season, maybe. Current situation is different since Lebron is old and he can't rely much on his teammates since they are inconsistent to produce good numbers which is needed to win their crucial games. Look what Russel did he score zero on their last game and that is huge loss for them since his team need him to contribute on scoring. Lakers have huge chance to win if they can able to sustain their energy and efficiency until 4th quarter but they didn't make it as it seems the Jokic,Murray,Porter and Gordon also the rest of Nuggets roster are more stronger than current Lakers line up this season. Maybe we can see lakers got sweep since so far there's no team recovers to get four straight win and advance on the next round. I think it's not about Lebron's age, he can still play dunk the ball and run. It's more on his team mates in recent years that didn't bring him close to becoming a champion again. When they won their championship, there were great role players in their team. Right now they have, but they are inconsistent like Russell who come up big in the last game and then 0 points today. Or Reaves 9 points in game 2 but now exploded for 22 points. On the other hand, the Nuggets are consistent all 4 of their starters are putting NBA caliber numbers and the game is played in full 4 quarters. The Lakers are only good in the first 3 quarters and then choke in the 4th and then you can see James frustrations. |

In this era of inflation when the price of every commodity is skyrocketing and the value of our domestic currency investments is decreasing. Desperation covers us as the damage continues to mount. In this case Bitcoin is the only hope for small investors like us. DCAing allows small investors to accumulate bitcoins at weekly or monthly basis which is a very simple process. Although I am a newbie investor here, the bitcoin price chart of the past years excites me. I'm more optimistic when I see that the impact of inflation does not affect the Bitcoin price as much.
What is your assessment and openion? How much of an impact does inflation have on Bitcoin?
You can to look at it, Bitcoin has limited supply isn't it, that alone shows how Bitcoin price is going to move, more demand, less supply=prices go up, basic economic law. And with that it means that as a commodity, it is being look at a hedge against the inflation because of how Satoshi design it. So if there is a impact, it is that people should invest or put their wealth on Bitcoin easy as that. They can fight that inflation as prices of Bitcoin are going up every 4 years, new all time high are set and so our money are not only safe guarded, but multiplying because of how it is design. |
