It doesn't expensive as 51% attack but definitely need few millions of dollars to shatter the trading price because atleast the trade should be executed for 30 to 50K BTC. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) When the price increase it becomes impossible that is why people need new strategies to become billionaires. Haha well of course it is not as expensive, but at one point, 10 million or 100 million makes no difference when the attacker has to consider profit above all (why else to manipulate right?) and it is hard to imagine a scenario where a person has enough to SPEND 10 million and make profit too. But of course I get your point ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Crazy to see people expect to buy a shitcoin and then hope it all goes up and makes them happy. If only life was this easy.
specially when that specific shitcoin had already made its way up and when dumped still those greed people like OP still expecting a come back in which very ODD to happen. It went up to $40 right? And this was all during the time when IDO and Defi staking crap were big, plenty of projects folded and rugpulled and still people bought it.
same thought lol as i find it that way as well. Then you have the famous burn mechanism to say it would make it more scarce. Hasn't worked has it?
The famous Burning that fooled many investors in the past lol. What real utility does cake have?
NONEYes all points agreed lol Anyway a word in now with the timing a week done, I don't give advice to people but if you're an "investor" in all these type of "defi coins", now is a really good time to sit and look and ask yourself about if you want to back the future of defi platforms that have: -99% scam and rugpulls -no single innovation to blockchain -no single real utility. Comeon, defi is not utility.

Its is not actually an easy task to manipulate the price, it comes with huge price tag as well for example currently bitcoin is trading at 42K so if a whale wants to increase it upto 45K then he needs to create multiple sell orders gradually until that price reaches so that people will be manipulated meanwhile any user can take that into an advantage as well.
Not on a big enough exchange. Anyone even trying to do so now with the impossible size of the orders will be at best enjoying a few minutes of desired price. The cost of doing that to me is the same consideration as the cost of 51% attack... no one has the financial resources to pull it off. AND even if they did, the rest of the market/players will pull back so quickly and regroup. If the exchange is small enough to try price manipulation, then it's probably not worth it.

This is stupid in so many levels i don't know where to start from. And i am actually defending NFT all the time. There are like tons of projects like this and rhey are the main reason why it all looks just a nonsensical cash grab scam to outsiders.
It's not stupid my friend Everything will make sense, they succeed because they are consistent with something they pride themselves on, such as the NFT Selfi Image as well as this car showroom. But it is stupid. A hundred voices on Twitter changing their profile to a random jpeg or gif does not make the thing less stupid. I actually also defend some NFT projects and I totally get where artists and collectors come from, but the NFT movement in crypto is a big cashgrab and that is so against all the things they talk about like freedom and artist rights and so on. When people lose money, when normal people fear and get disappointed, remember that you said everything will make sense.

Can we hear a shout out for La Liga? I don't know what possessed me to watch this match, other than that there was nothing else on telly, but this was gripping from start to finish, the away team had to fight every inch to try and snatch points from being down 0-2. Bilbao Mallorca has one hell of a Korean in their attack, but I think they actually deserved this last-gasp win. Not pretty, but very positive play.
I could not believe when I saw odds over 2 for both to score in this game, seemed too good to be true so I got scared and wagered half the stake I initially planned to wager. There is goals in La Liga this season, I am thinking At. Madrid is the culprit that brought up averages from previous seasons. There is so much more goals in their games this season, almost unbelievable transformation. I am thinking Simeone is not happy, but we are ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Trofo how can you lower your stake when your favorite market becomes high value ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Anyway yes, I also agree that Atletico has somehow made things very different this season, but what makes me really wonder is that, is this actually a secret play from Simeone as in, is this a very conscious transformation? I read so many interviews about him and Suarez especially after the end of last season. About their style, their mentality, etc. We also always tell him he has to change for the future. Maybe this time he really is but pretending not to like it? Mind games. Most interesting to see is how they take on United next week!

Halab got the spot on result, but most of us have to thank Mbappe for never giving up, I have to say this was a big waste for Real Madrid to play Benzema and risk him getting even more injured when they couldn't give him the service he deserves.
Not sure to be happy Real lost and looks like they can't progress or to be sad that Messi had a poor game (by his standards).
City thrashing Sporting, no big surprise we all scored 1 point. Anybody who even got a Close score would have been amazing.

friendly reminder that BTTS in a Barcelona game this season is pretty much free money, just saying ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I know it's nice to see players with emotions, but this red card problem has been something since last year in fact when Messi was still around. I thought it was an anomaly but we seem to be a team that's become very easy to get cards now. We're like bottom half of discipline table now
mentality. Some players lose their heads when they're facing difficult situations during a match, sometimes it's a red card, sometimes their peformance takes a nose dive right in the middle of the game and they forget how to defend properly (see past Champions league knockout stage results). It's the manager's job to fix this asap and believe Xavi is more than capable of doing this Anyhow, no Araujo and no Pique against Valencia next weekend, " FC Barcelona to keep a clean sheet - Yes - No ✓ " 😂 Sigh yes, I hope Xavi finds a way, and I know it's soooo many things to look at and to fix. But the sending offs have to find a way to stop, just look as you say, no important players, and others could be uncertain, who knows now maybe the bet is on Barca to keep clean sheet to get great odds lol *seriously maybe I should go to betbuilder to check out odds ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Take it easy guys. BusinessInsider is just a Forbes second tier list type of media. Forbes by the way is not as great as it used to be (well I personally don't think it was ever great but at least you had to pay a loooot of money to be on the magazine in the old days.
Now you only need a few hundred dollars to put an article on Forbes.
I've seen a hundred altcoin projects do it.

Hello! I didn't even realize I had freebets waiting for me until I checked today, thanks so much to you guys for everything! Good thing I saw it too as they would expire tomorrow lol Funny I'm active in many sportsbet threads but the main one I forget to check hehe I try to re-open but the notification don't appear again. I already saw the linking feature on settings under preference tab. Only Ethereum network is still acceptable so I can't use it right now since I don't have any ERC20 tokens available.
Guys! How to participate on multi master competition? I saw that there's an ongoing event base on the comments here but I can't in the OP the link to participate on it. I become interested after I read some previous feedback about this competition that user winning big with only risking a small amount of money for entry fee.
Just connect it manually you do not have to wait for notification, just open MetaMask and connect like with any dapp ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) MultiMaster is over now, it was for NFL Superbowl which played yesterday. I think you're talking also about the old version of Multimaster, which used to run every week for a small entry fee. This one was a special edition and was totally free to enter.

Did you also kidding us ? ETHEREUM staking need a lot money, If you just staking with small money you can get only a small % pool. Full validator need more than 32 ETH, people love to staking with small market cap coin comparing major coin because the APY is really high comparing major coin/tokens. It's not even worth at all, the risk comparing reward for staking ETH. Have you never heard of staking pools? Look at Ethereum.org and find information on staking and the very first page tells you all you need about. All those staking coins people talk about in Defi does not even make them validators anyway, so who here is talking about becoming an ETH validator? Very few people can mine Bitcoin solo, very few people can stake ETH solo, so why are you assuming I am telling people to do so? You sir are the one kidding.

Well, I'm glad all you guys are happy for Barca. The draw really really hurt us a lot especially when we should actually have taken a goal when we were tied, so terrible for VAR to take away your goal, and then the score turns to 2-1 in the opposite direction. But anyway, great news for me because yesterday with just a small amount left in my bank I put all of it on this Blackjack match... and it hit. Barca saved my bankroll. Literally lol ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FXa50hBh.png&t=663&c=rZVH15nd8L1Uag) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQX77Vta.png&t=663&c=SxpsTPSmpSKrdQ) It's ok Betwrong, we've all missed Blackjacks and we all need our weekends. I need many weekends hehe

Any idea on how you would use it? Would it be like a baseline towards what you could make a support/resistance on a specific timeframe? Or probably correlating it with data that could've caused a drastic change and made the significant market turn around or something like that?
Would it be something similar to that?
Yeah I would think so. It could be something to be used by those who like to think there's a correlation between festive periods for the price of Bitcoin (for example people seem to think Christmas and Lunar New Year have a predictable effect). I think it's been proven wrong already, or at least relies also on which part of the cycle we're at. Halving would be the most important, but maybe also tax period?

not so sure about Barca, I know that it is far from real city derby, but with Barca in shaken form, Espanyol is certainly motivated to get something from this one, will be interesting for sure, odds are good, nevertheless
After all, it was real city derby. Mixed feelings about draw, maybe it's not worst what could happen, but I expected more. Can someone explain me what Garcia was doing when de Tomas scored? Justterrible game for him. And it's sad to see that such experienced player still react to provocations - cheap red card. It was a bit unexpected to see Dembele on the pitch. And Luuk De Jong, it's popular to mock him, but so far he is doing exactly what we needed from him. Honestly guys, I'm not sure what to think about this game. You can talk about taking the lead and letting it go, and then getting behind in fact but coming back in the final minutes, but for me the most important is we got another red card. That's two games back to back and 3 games with sending off in 2022 already. I know it's nice to see players with emotions, but this red card problem has been something since last year in fact when Messi was still around. I thought it was an anomaly but we seem to be a team that's become very easy to get cards now. We're like bottom half of discipline table now

Are you guys kidding me? We're talking about staking and not a single person mentions Ethereum?
How on earth for example one of you guys actually recommends Tezos as your top coin for safest staking? You know Tezos is the brainchild of scammers who still haven't cleared their name right?
I wasn't a fan of Ethereum before but lately, they've proven to be decentralized to a point no one controls them anymore. How can Ethereum be less safe than any of the other coins mentioned?

Deportivo took a win, seemed quite straightforward. Come on man its unbelive how bad its Atletico Madrid defending, the y need to improve really fast if they dont want to be screwed so bad for Cristiano and Manchester United in the Champions League. Getafe made 3 goals in one half and when they have 2 goals down.
Don't worry, Atletico is bad in defense this season but they are at least scoring goals to offset that vulnerability. United is bad in defense but they can't even score goals ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This will be a sorry excuse for match between two great clubs in serious problems. My bets today go towards Betis and Barca, very respectable odds on their wins, combined @4. Very happy with the Atletico win myself, also have Barca in my multibet today, this derby is not a given but even in the past we have always tended to win, and now with the squad we have I am confident of scoring early. I have the same Betis and Barca, but also 3 away legs in EPL and Bundesliga ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Now is everyone still ignoring Sevilla to make a strong push in the final third of season?

The most absurd game of the day was Atletico Madrid - Getafe for certain. I was literally shocked when I saw a 3-3 score at the end of the first half. I wondered how it happened and saw that Getafe made a great comeback after being 2-0 behind. They scored three consecutive goals in twelve minutes. I wasn't waiting for seeing a retaliation like this from them. And after seeing the red card for Atletico Madrid in the second half, I thought that they wouldn't win this. But they still scored in the 89th minute and won by 4-3. Mario Hermoso scored the life-saver for his team.
Getafe ranks 15th in the points table. Atletico Madrid have a lot of problems to win against such a team. Their defense is very weak now, their performance in the last few matches is weak. Now they have to take appropriate measures to strengthen the defense. Otherwise, they will not be in the top 4 teams in the points table. Their overall performance is now weak just because of the weak defense. Well it's about time Diego Simeone realizes he can't keep winning things by playing bad defensive football. Better to play bad offensive football and win like this, although he also has to keep the red card count low! Personally I think it's a move in the right direction. Let everyone else be in flux also not just Barcelona, so the whole league goes through a big renewal ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Like first person who responded, the best way is localbitcoins but not without risk and in fact with very high risk hence the bad rates. I know a lot of Afghan people use moneysenders in Pakistan which is near the border. You send money there also with Moneygram and they make sure it gets sent to the Afghani across the border. This is probably the safest, just need to make phone calls ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Okay so you are taking about the Ghana Teacher who was drawing the whole setup for MS word to make students aware about it because there was no system in the school yet the dedication of the teacher was not broken and he took the responsibility himself to tell them about it :
~~~
I would say that most of the current crypto experts are only self proclaimed one's and don't have an idea about the market at all and you should not believe them at all.The best one According to me is Andres who is so passionate about Bitcoin and can provide you in depth knowledge about it if you are capable of understanding it.
Yes! Yes! This is exactly the one I was referring to and you can find all kinds of stories like this all from Africa and India where there is a great need for education to bring the people into the digital age and yet where most people will never even get the chance to see a computer in their lives. Sad but inspirational to read about them. So when people talk big about crypto influencers who do nothing do further the cause, I just roll eyes. Andreas as you say is one of the few who is so different from the rest!
Sevilla. They have to win tonight don't they? I doubt anyone in this pool would predict otherwise or is that just me trying to psycho someone into drawing? Who knows. I lie in the bottom waiting.
Sevilla won 2:0, as planned, checked the pool and I think we have 10 exact scores in the pool on this one, probably most since the pool started yeah, odds are barely on Real side against Villareal, had to check earlier results, and yeah, Real does not win there too often, so it is not unexpected to see odds like those, nevertheless, Villareal is having issues this season, and this can go on Real side I don't think I've ever seen so many exact scores for one game either. Sevilla really gave everyone a nice start to the weekend, but I think everyone will be surprised by Villareal game tonight. Not just because they're a favorite, but also because Real are under pressure. But the Barca game is what 90% of people will be on one side, the most onesided derby in the entire La Liga I believe!
Catching them very young, one of my greatest mentor Gaius the first African to invest in Crypto and now lectures crypto all around the world would say. I think this initiative is welcomed and kids would get Early knowledge about crypto-currency, more reasons to believe the future is bright for Crypto-currency, and it's even amazing that slowly government are allowing people make their choices in crypto, I really wish I had someone to teach me earlier about crypto-currency I believe I would be better than I am now.
I have a lot of respect for Indians and Africans in terms of teaching technology. You see all their videos on youtube just teaching people without hype or without fame. I remember this story of one African teacher I can't remember the country, he was teaching students to use computers without computers. How? By drawing the screens for every software like Word on blackboard! Because he knew even though they may never have computers but if they went to college they would know how to type and use software. I see the same thing with crypto, so many influencers are teaching nonsense and gambling. But the good ones are also there teaching the good stuff and without the same recognition.
