I voted for 180 as I have stated before I believe 90 is too short and 1 year is too long but that 180 is a decent compromise.

It would be nice if bitmaintech extends the 90 to 180  hell it would be nicer if they went to a year, but 180 is still 2x the current 90.

This setup is of

my 20 sidehack/novac/compac sticks

set at freq 200 running debian 7.7 on an intel 4570t cpu machine. Along with a node.

19 sticks on a modded stud hub

the 20th stick uses a y cable and 2 ports of the pc

I drilled a hole on the heat sink. I hung the stick by the psu's exhaust since the pc only runs the sticks and a node the psu exhaust works well to cool the 20th stick.

I see mess of cables, but still better than nothing.
May i know what are your daily or monthly earning.
Have you reached the ROI or you are still waiting Tongue.

I have these in another room. two s-7's   giving me 9.3th  and they are already paid for from prior profits.

The sticks are more or less for fun. ie they solo mine I have a thread on them here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1177508.0

the s-7's are for making money
I have a thread on how to sound proof them

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1188217.0

and a thread on using 1 controller with 2 s-7's

All s7 is online now, your guys can check its status both on our monitor system or your pools
all 20 unit i receive can only hash around 4.66T as expected, no lucky for 4.86...

How much power do you use ? .25 x 4.66 = 1165 watts

I ask because  you offered 65 usd worth of power.

Will the daily fee be based on 1165 watts  or 1200 watts.

At 1165 watts 24 hours = 27.96 kwatts

At 1200 watts 24 hours = 28.80 kwatts

Granted it is only about 1 kwatt a day but  for 30 days it is 30 kwatts.

At 10 cents that is 3 usd a month.

So will the monthly fee drop 3 usd? or 2 usd?

36005  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience BM1384 Project Development Discussion on: October 04, 2015, 01:43:46 PM
Why would it be 800W? Posted chip specs are 0.14, not 0.2

The S5 can push upward of 500W without chipside heatsinks.

The S1 was 350-400W originally. The S5 uses the same heatsinks so we know more heat is possible. 5 chips is more like a small pod miner than an S1 blade.

Sptech would be smart to hand over a small (under 10 chip ) board/miner to you.  It would not hurt their big boy 110th  but could hurt bitmintech's s-7.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Count me in for a piece of this.

to follow up on max memberships

depending if ck can give a clean summary maybe we do 2 of 15.

keeping track right now is mechanical check on my part.

plus TheRealSteve and encad have some background  tracking software in place

If we do 2 poolclubs

1 with 15 members  and the second with 15 members each one  is separate. you could get.

1/15 share of 7.5 coins  and the other 17.5 coins could be given split  via shares.

So a guy with 1 stick would get 0.5btc  and a very tiny piece of the 17.5 coins

A guy with 100 sticks would get 0.5 btc  and a bigger piece of the 17.5 coins

Still makes an incentive for a 1 stick miner.  And really helps bigger miners more then our current setup.

I know that going over 30 or 35 dilutes too much.  So long term I would think 2 clubs.  and a mixed reward system may be better.

Each being separate would kinda suck if one hit it and was not yours.   So if you have multiple sticks will you be able to be part of multiple clubs?  Point 1 stick twords group and 1 to 2nd group, etc?

Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno. My initial reaction to having two clubs is not good. Of course if I manage or finagle to get one stick in each club I guess I'd have nothing to say.

It was a late night idea.  Not good too much confusion.  also the snag my club hit yours did not factor kills off the joy of playing it.

I think 1 club is better idea.

max at 30  members.

15 coins are 1/30 each    or  1/29,  1/28, 1/27  ,…..  depends on how many we are up to 30.

10 coins are split based on shares  --------- depends if ck makes a share sheet up for the pool.

We do it for 30 days   you get some coin via shares. -------helps the bigger player

you have a chance at .5 btc  or more if we hit a block.--------- helps the 1 or 2 stick  little player

it runs from oct 11th to nov 11th -------- date is subject to change if ck says the tracking info will not be ready until

a little later.

still not working rejects are huge.
Fixed the rejects issue - I'm haven't worked out why it happened yet but I'm looking into it.

Edit: Maybe not - seeing it with nicehash, but not with solo. Still looking.

Edit 2: nicehash seems to have stabailized for me - I'll do more testing today and monitor it.

Edit 3: And it's rejecting again. A bit closer to identifying the issue at least.

Edit 4: Made a change to try to fix the rejects that occurred in edit 3. Monitoring.

okay my small in house testing is 2 sidehack sticks clocked to 12gh each which means I should get 24000 at your pool.

Over night I went from 12,000 to 24,171  so that is a good sign.

BTW to all of you that say usb sticks are a dumb idea here is an example of how to use a usb mining stick to help test.

I am sending in some nicehash/westhash rental.

With getting close to 26-27 members are we about to do a lock at some point?  I was not sure what the target number is to close it temporary at least.

And I could be in minority and people want it open.   I just think fun drops at a certain point.
