3621  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcomo - spam/multi acc or something like that on: February 19, 2018, 07:43:22 AM
So, there's a Bitcomo thread on portuguese board and there's a lot of suspect activity, 90% of replies are from accounts that posts only on Bitcomo threads(main thread and other local threads).. They are posting (with the same account) in many languages(using a google translator) to bump the threads..
Sounds like a dishonest project or one that hired a ICO pumping service.

anyone?
I'll take a better look, but since you didn't quote the posts within OP or archive anything it will take some time.

Account 2 (German, Spanish, Indonesian):
No quiero perder dinero otra vez

Account 3 (Romanian, Spanish, Arabic):
Smart contracts pot schimba totul in aceasta sfera si pot atrage tot mai multi advertiseri.

Account 4 (Spanish only(?), seems to have gotten hacked between 2016 and 2017):
mmm..creo que este nuevo tipo de negocio tiene muchas ventajas. Más que nada por el uso de blockchain. Un proyecto con perspectiva, sin duda

Account 5 (Romanian, Indonesian, Greek):
Sistemul cost-per-action duce la deschiderea unui spatiu larg pentru online marketing, in care fiecare membru se poate simti confortabil si poate realiza ca afacerea sa este in siguranta. Big like!

Account 6 (Spanish; seems to have gotten hacked between 2016 and 2017):
Bom dia, link de bounty programa https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2309159.0

Some accounts have posted in even more languages than what I've listed. I believe that 2-3 is sufficient proof, especially given the difficulty of some languages (e.g. Arabic is very difficult to learn). Also, the pattern is very obvious. Writing the negative.

The user red123 had 4 positive trust ratings, which is why it was used to post the ANN.
Also tagged the user (brooklynite) who posted their ANN. "Last Active:   January 19, 2018, 01:42:30 PM". Roll Eyes

Any DT member to tag this guy?
The local post was deleted however I've archived the thread on the waybackmachine: https://web.archive.org/web/20180212031312/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2930605.0

You called?

That does not sound good at all.

Over all its just the duplicate account of him .
Do you have proof of this particular accusation?

I'll send the manager a PM. Failure to address this would be horrible.

...trustworthy manager..
Please do not call yourself trustworthy when you have next to no trading history whatsoever (i.e. not until you've earned it). I've complained about this in a thread from another manager; this is very dishonest behavior.

Other than that, I don't see any other issues with the thread.
3625  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Craige288] Need DT Members on: February 19, 2018, 07:10:04 AM
Please check my post history and you can easily see that I can barely write in English because I don`t have too much knowledge regarding English. The other accounts are posting only in English and some of them use advanced English and upper intermediate, please check the writing style of them you can easily see that those accounts don`t belong to the same person and are used by the others.
a) They are not only writing in English. Example.
b) Their writing is horrible.
c) Whether they belong to the same person or not doesn't matter (already covered by my trust rating).

So many people are telling the friend story but I admit that they are my friends and sometime I sell gas to them and buy their signature tokens for bounty price which is quite normal I think.
If you were buying tokens, you wouldn't be sending everyone the same amount of USD at *the same time*.

If you have paid attention, no account was put in the same bounty campaign because they are independent from each other.
Irrelevant.

I've given this case a lot of thought, and there is absolutely no way that you are telling the truth. If you were buying tokens, then you would be sending different amounts (at least in the decimal places; USD) of ETH. Since you are (allegedly) paying them for this spam, you are responsible for it. Therefore, no "injustice" has been done. Unless someone else wants to get involved in the case (doubtful given that all the accounts are shitposters), I consider it closed.

OP, what are you doing? I see that you're deleting posts. Connections 5 and 6 are now missing.
3626  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda is a WITCH, who cast an evil spell on me! BURN THE WITCH! on: February 19, 2018, 12:31:13 AM
I bow to your forum trolling skills nullius.
Satire =/= trolling. It looks like you still don't get it.

“ELI5” time, for those who just—don’t—get it.  I have just declared that Lauda is the Bitcoin Forum’s Joan of Arc.  Also, I am pointing out that the promulgation of baseless anti-Lauda megathreads and rapid-fire smears is an attempt by Quickseller to create the hysterical atmosphere of a witchcraft trial.  He has already affirmatively declared that his so-called “standard of evidence is the same as what is frequently published in the mainstream media” (translation of Quickseller’s “mainstream media”: scandal-sheet tabloids which carry news about Batboy).

(I have previously noted that Quickseller is the Bitcoin Forum’s Iago.  Here, I separately insinuate that he has delusional fantasies of being a Grand Inquisitor.)

Uhm.. I wonder whether "a friend of a friend reliable unidentified source" told you that they have a video of me doing voodoo. Embarrassed
3627  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole truth about the Merit system on: February 18, 2018, 07:00:13 PM
All here are smart people. All make the right conclusions.
Huh? I think you are confusing reality with fiction.

But in any case, plagiarism is a crime.
deceit = reputation
No. Plagiarism is permanently-bannable, thus a Meta issue.
3628  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Begging or not? on: February 18, 2018, 06:42:17 PM
Yes, and no. It isn't a case of blatant (explicit) begging for merit, but it is anyways. The whole system was designed so that you don't need to do that (each post has a button right next to it). Now, there were a few discussions about whether people should be tagged for this or not. The general consensus, from what I remember, is that we *should let it slide* unless/(until) the user develops a chronic habit of doing this (either via posts or via PM).

With two posts (+ being a one line shitposter), this user is just pushing it. Obviously, he/she would only get merit in very rare instances (or not at all), which is why they are doing this.
Note: Just noticed that I had *some interactions* with this user in 2016 (visible in their post history). I wonder whether the account got compromised.
3629  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole truth about the Merit system on: February 18, 2018, 06:34:31 PM
So you are telling me that you blame the two users (aTriz and slowdeath) for unknowingly meriting (a plagiarized post) what they thought was a constructive post?

P.S. I hope I will not be burned at the stake like a witch. Since climbing into a hornet's nest is death.
Then you shouldn't run a witch hunt. In no way are slowdeath and aTriz at fault for someone else's plagiarism.

You can see to whom exactly aTriz gave her Merit. There are no random people on this list. They are all her friends or write messages against her enemies.
This user seems very random. I did not know aTriz had enemies.

This is a Meta issue, not a Reputation one.

I do not understand, you have a Turkish hostility. or are you racist ?
Here we go again. How about you make up something unique for a change. I've heard this the last time some people in that section got busted. Just go away and stop abusing the forum. Statement from several days ago:

Quote
I am not even remotely, in any way whatsoever, a racist of any kind. I have repeatedly stated that I do not care about other's nationality/race/religion or whatever useless thing they like to associate themselves with.
3631  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Craige288] Need DT Members on: February 18, 2018, 10:38:09 AM
-snip-
Proof: You can easily see that the "Slmn" sent same amount of ethereum to his multiple sub accounts at the same time.

Main account:
slmn / 0xfd2418617b08030AFB197F64EC6325673B539F7c / http://archive.is/G55gG
-snip-
Slmn seems to be paying those accounts in equal amounts. It is very possible that you've stumbled onto someone paying others to shitpost for tokens or whatever. All of the alleged alt accounts are spamming one-liners. He/she will probably come up with a "friends and family" or "office full of workers" story.

Progress is being updated here.

Have just come across this thread, from now on, when you post these in the Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III, can you please also mark which posts are cross posted, that way we/I don't have to go following them up when others have already done so.

Thanks.  Roll Eyes
Yes, they likely know about that.
3632  Other / Meta / Re: this guy sells ICO picks with merits! on: February 18, 2018, 10:25:50 AM
The background noise is to be ignored. Back to the actual thread:

If[1] this is truly the case, both the senders and OP need to be tagged IMO.
Anyone want to chime in before this be done?

Mich:

50 to pitipawn, 45 to saulzaents (50 from pitipawn; 45 from mich; 40 from mstfprcn), 30 to mstfprcn(10 from pitipawn; 10 from saulzaents).
3633  Economy / Reputation / Re: Don't trust LAUDA on: February 18, 2018, 09:49:51 AM
Wow ---> now we're on the same page!
Somewhat, yes. This is one of the examples where I believe an alt account is justified (in most other cases, it isn't).

To clarify: This is me just sharing an example of what happened to others *by someone's hand* not long ago. "Thou shalt not speak of my abuse!" - seems to be their motto.

---> if you notice, the article I cited above was written two years ago ---> ( https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@cjmoles/exposition-of-bitcoin-s-hidden-exploit )  And, since that time, I've engaged diligently in quite a bit of research.  I do know a little more than I've been letting on.  Actually, I know A LOT more than I've been letting on.
I expected it to be written after you getting tagged, which is what busted people usually do (and/or just simply attack the user that tagged them with whatever they can think of[1]). However, that is not the case here and I did notice the date before I even read it. That means that you aren't the classic type which became pretty predictable; good.
There are some things that I don't agree with on your article. However, I believe that this is not the place to continue this or address it. You might want to open your own thread in this section (about the article or the abuse) and continue there.

[1] The OP and this whole thread is an example of this.
3634  Other / Meta / Re: this guy sells ICO picks with merits! on: February 18, 2018, 09:36:52 AM
I actually have two accounts belong to me.
No surprise.

By the way,  You probably did not accept it, but I'm still a doctor.
If you think that I was asking whether you had a piece of paper (also known as a degree), you completely missed the point.

I know two of these nicknames. there is no meaning in this. How much does it make sense for me to do this to you? Think about it, it's meaningless. is not it .
You are a liar. I have mathematically proven this (QED) in this post.

Nice insinuation. You mean this guy?

3635  Other / Meta / Re: [List] Suspected users that are abusing merit 3.0 on: February 18, 2018, 09:17:57 AM
That is very suspicious. He sends her sMerits one by one and she sends him sMerits back. I think you should watch them.
It's not suspicious. He admitted he's sending her merit in exchange for video of her splittin' the kitten to a merit infographic (a strange fetish, but each to their own). Such trades are allowed except between merit sources.
I disagree with the way that you worded it. Per his statements, he clarified why it would be beneficial for everyone if she lost the bet (and not because he wants to see some video). But, yes:

At any rate, it seems clear that alia_armelle is not an alt of nullius.

This is related to the problem with the 'demerit' suggestions. Users, out of whatever idiotic reason, try to sabotage others (e.g. one not receiving a lot of merit is envious of someone else who does). This is what happens when you introduce complex systems instead of implementing a few simple solutions to root out the spam issue.

Do you see? That's what I'm talking about. People here are not able to read a post properly. I was not talking about Wapinter, but about the participants in this campaign (The same applies to almost all participants of other campaigns.). Wapinter has written clearly when, what is paid and still people asking here questions that have long been answered.  Roll Eyes
Very high quality post indeed. You can pick out individual posts and go after someone (see the reason stated above) should you want to (not that someone should take that seriously).
3636  Other / Meta / Re: this guy sells ICO picks with merits! on: February 18, 2018, 08:56:04 AM
I have a real job in real sense.
You mean farming accounts and joining campaigns? Yes, I could believe that you have that job.

I just sent you a message for the others. I did not talk to you for myself. already in the message I sent you did not tell you about myself. I always talked about the others.
Liar. It looks like you were only actually looking out for yourself. Smiley

Okay ---> I will take your advice and shut up before  ---> "things go downhill" for me.  I know how it works!  (Laugh Out Loud at the irony)  It truly has been a pleasure having this conversation with you and I apologize if it seems as though I were being an agitator because that wasn't my motive
To clarify: This is me just sharing an example of what happened to others *by someone's hand* not long ago. "Thou shalt not speak of my abuse!" - seems to be their motto.

I only meant to engage in an honest discourse.
Sure, but your concerns are misplaced and the motivation behind them isn't pristine. Even if we assume that what was done to you was abuse, you are complaining about it because it happened to you. There is abuse on a much larger scale, by higher placed members going on right now[1]. That's where the complaint should be. If the tree is rotten at the root, then you shouldn't be blaming the branches. Because of this rot, we are here today. There is an absurdly high number of cases and the number of honest DT2 members is very limited. The number of active (honest) ones is even lower.
Once fixed at the core, the tree should start rejuvenating itself.

[1] Backroom collusion by DT1 members.

Do you call this high quality?  Shocked
a) I was referring to posts made by nullius.
b) If you understood the meaning of "Ciphersex 101 [NSFW]" and the Off-topic section, then you wouldn't be asking this question. Then again, it seems that the thread is above your capabilities.

Sigh. There is no abuse there. The posts by nullius are better than 95% of the forum's users, also known as monkeys (idiots), could write up when combining their efforts. Both alia and nullius are users who are receiving a very high number of merit points (compared to the average).
3640  Other / Meta / Re: this guy sells ICO picks with merits! on: February 18, 2018, 08:24:47 AM
I guess you do not know anything about private life or privacy or you mean "private message".
I didn't expect you to be an educated human being, thus I am not surprised by this message. "Note: PM privacy is not guaranteed. Encrypt sensitive messages.". Your message doesn't even contain anything sensitive other than whiny bullshit about someone's children. Get a real job.
In addition to that, you make a sneaky accusation of evidence tampering against the OP and want to keep it private? What's up with all the nitwits and colluding in the backrooms?

You like that kind of stuff, do not you? I am sure your fans will be enjoying this way. dont stop and keep going like this way.
Is this all the gang of busted people got? Yawn.
