Today is the day I’ve been waiting for. Kevin Durant making his season debut for the Suns at home after returning from an ankle injury suffered in the layup line the last time he tried making his home debut. The game will be on ESPN and should be worth the watch as Durant tries to take yet another contender to the Finals. Who knows how games we’ll see him play in Phoenix.

Bitcoin price jumps above $28K after 1.5K BTC shorts ‘blown out’ Source. It is expected that the price of Bitcoin may double from the current price in the next 3 months BTC.Doubling in the next three months seems a little ambitious but not out of the question when you consider that the price should have never gone as low as it did. SBF and FTX are responsible for the low value of BTC so it seems reasonable as that threat is gone the price will rally substantially. I would play it a little safer though and predict $50K by December.

Looks like the market is making another push up against resistance in an attempt to finish the month at $30K. Ground is being made but I’m not sure how many tries it will take to break through the sell wall at $29K. I still think it’ll happen, but it might not happen by the weekend. Odds are better than not that it will happen in the next few weeks.

Not too much excitement tonight but I do see an opportunity for a decent 3 game parlay opportunity. I think the Boston Celtics should beat the Washington Wizards without too much effort. Then you have the OKC Thunder beating the Charlotte Hornets to keep up their playoff race. Then finally I like the Golden State Warriors over the Zion-less New Orleans Pelicans.
It may still be tough for the Warriors to beat the Pelicans because they are known as a defensive team and I bet Curry and Thompson will be matched with their better defensive players like Herb Jones and Trey Murphy. And they won their last 5 games. I really don't like the high spreads being given so I might take this on live betting instead. Wait for the Pelicans to have a lead and maybe take the opportunity to bet for the Warriors at lower spreads. I will do tail the Celtics bet. Washington Wizards - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-10.5)Toronto Raptors - Miami Heat - Toronto Raptors (-3.5) - No Jimmy Buckets today so Raptors should take advantage of this playing at home. Gary Trent Jr. and Will Barton for the Raptors will be out. Oklahoma City Thunder - Charlotte Hornets - Oklahoma City Thunder (-10.5) Crap, I don't know if I made a mistake here as SGA won't be playing and Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre might be back on playing for the Hornets. Fingers crossed and will just rely on their homecourt advantage. Bet against Orlando Magic again? I've lost so much money betting against them twice. I kind of in doubt now even if they are up against the Grizzlies. Good luck guys. Well, my picks are 0-2 so far. That doesn’t bode well for the Golden State Warriors. That game is going on now on TNT. I think most basketball fans are already looking towards tomorrow though. Kevin Durant making his home debt for the Suns against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Should be a great one as long as there aren’t any incidents in the layup line this time.

With the mtgox distribution constantly being pushed back, it’s possible they aren’t getting enough people registering for payment distributions to meet their expectations. This leads me to believe the final BTC payout if you wait could be much higher than the early lump sum payout. Would you wait and try to get the most BTC possible or select early payout to get this behind you?

It's not okay to mock fat women but somehow it's socially acceptable to make fun of bald men?
Bald men are discriminated against for jobs and are often joked about but it's not like they can control their genetics. Fat people can actually lose the weight.
I have noticed a lot of men in their teens and 20s are balding these days and no one is standing up for them.
The bad guys in movies and media are almost always bald.
Sorry to join in on the necro-bumping, but this is something that fascinates me a bit. The idea of selective discrimination, not so much bald rights. I’ve found that gender and race are equally confusing when looking for society’s logic. For example, a man that identifies as a woman is praised, but a white person who identifies as black is considered appropriating and attacked. If a white man in a dress isn’t considered sexist, why is that same man wearing dark makeup considered racist? What happens if a man identifies as a black woman? Any liberals care to enlighten with your mental gymnastics?

I’m going to go ahead and disagree with everyone and say that it is not possible to be a clean politician. This is because the machine behind you will not have the funding and support of industries that would prefer to have a bought and paid for politician over somebody who might share similar beliefs. I’ve seen corruption even in my local Home Owners Association. I can’t even begin to comprehend the corruption involved with elected government officials.

FPGAs are good for new algorithms when time or funds aren’t available to develop an ASIC miner for that algorithm. They were a big part of mining for the short period in time between GPU mining and ASIC mining. Back in 2012 if you had an FPGA BTC miner you were printing money. The evolution of mining went from…
CPU->GPU->FPGA->ASIC

Bitcoin is holding up well given all the calamity in global markets currently. I’m starting to think we won’t see $30K break by the end of the month like I had guessed, but it seems inevitable that it will happen and without too many more weeks or months passing. With the halving around a year away, I expect the end of this year will see a rise up to the $50K range in preparation.

Is it possible to run a casino without the government’s awareness? Sure. People do it all the time. You hear stories of kids paying their way through college operating poker rooms, etc. is it legal? Of course not. I assume at some point you would reach a level of success that would bring government eyes on what you’re doing. So it’s possible, but it would be a ticking time bomb.

I don’t really understand what is even being offered here. Last time I checked, satellite connections have about a 30ms latency while even cable modems has around 20ms of latency. Seeking out people with a 30ms latency on their connection and offering to make bets faster if they go through you seems like an insane proposal right from the start. I fail to see how this could bring anyone value.

I looks good like a idea but in reality it won't work. There is no serious casino which will take this in consideration when they don't have fixed margin of profit. Also as I have heard regulation around gambling are very strict so it will hard in general to implement this.
I agree. This sort of thing in person may be a possibility but for online gambling I would think this sort of gambling would be impossible. If it was available, I’m sure people would immediately be developing bots that could win every time. That wouldn’t let a game like this last for long before the casino started taking massive losses. Cool idea, just not possible to implement online in my opinion.

Nothing too exciting going on in the NBA today. A couple games on TNT but the only game that seemed interesting to me was the late game between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans. They’re still jockeying for position in the playoff race so it should be a hard fought game. Everyone in New Orleans is hoping we see Zion Williamson sooner than later.

New article with details out of China about "sail" storage on the Cybertruck. I hadn't seen anything like this before about the Cybertruck so it's a bit of a surprise. A welcome one though and pretty cool. Likely even necessary after the Rivian truck's display of unique storage spaces. Always cool to see more leaks about what's going to be included on this Cybertruck monster when it's released. https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-cybertruck-production-will-retain-sail-storage/

2 more days until we get to see Durant make his home debut with the Suns. A little crazy how last time he attempted it he ended up getting hurt in the layup line. Still, Phoenix should be buzzing with excitement. That game will be on ESPN against the Timberwolves and will surely be worth catching.

It’s starting to look like the Dallas Mavericks are going to miss the playoffs and even the play-in tournament as a result of their Kyrie Irving trade. Luka can’t be happy. They fell out of the play-in for now and couldn’t capitalize on a Lakers loss. Dallas is 3-7 now in their last 10 games during a time they should be turning it on.

I seem to recall Thule and or TOAA etc start threads and were then hammered by the DT 1 Trolls too.
(I may have said something once or twice, but it's been quite a while and I may be mistaken)
Starting to get the impression this topic is becoming less about ChipMixer itself and more about opportunists attempting to discredit DT1 users who were part of the ChipMixer sig campaign. Anything to try and score a cheap point. There is still no evidence that Chipmixer was a honeypot. And even if it did turn out to be (and I'm fairly confident that's not the case), it doesn't suddenly redeem anyone who has been distrusted or tagged by a campaign member. ITT: Disreputable people clutching at straws. There’s a problem here that goes deeper than them just promoting a honeypot. This thread is about if we can even discuss it. You can see that there’s pushback from discussing that topic, even now from you. These members in DT1 retaliating on anyone that sounds the whistle about their promotion of illegal activity is a problem. Adding users to the trust network or “hammering” topics as a form of retaliation against people is serious dishonest behavior. Don’t try to sweep it under the rug.

Lakers with a good win tonight, and with that, they bolted out to 8 spot now (but still tie with the Wolves though). But still they have taken control of their destination with a win against the OKC.
AD with a monster game with 37 points, and then Dennis the Menace playing good basketball at the start of the 4th quarter with big 21 points.
Reaves just having a regular game with 11 points.
Ya, it would have been bad had they lost that game. Now they can try to get some separation and try to trade places with the Warriors or the Suns to get themselves out of the play-in tourney and into a guaranteed playoff spot. They’re 7-3 in their last 10 games. Starting to look like a real contender.

Ya, this ChipMixer honeypot / money laundering organization utilized by scammers here and the way that it was defended and promoted by DT1 members who claim to be against scammers here really exposed some things myself and others had been saying for a long time. DT1 has been compromised. I’d give myself as the perfect example of someone who has been retaliated against for doing the right thing. Some of them even have Vod in their trusted network after it’s been proven he is a liar, extortionist, doxxer, and tried to raise funds from this community before disappearing… These people don’t care about what’s right or honest, they only want to gain power to punish people while behaving far worse themselves.
