~ yep most often it will be the base prize ~

Idk, the base prize still makes me happy. It is 10 times more than the base prize on Free BTC, and who isn't happy when rolling in the range "9886 - 9985"?

True, I hate "winning" 40 Lottery Tickets, but I'm totally good with 40 RPs and Satoshis. I just won this

from my last spin of WOF, And I feel good. Smiley And in an hour I'll buy another 1 WOF SPIN / ROLL with my RPs. That's why I like winning RPs, btw.

You guys are terrific predictors. It's so hard to compete with you. Smiley

And it's not like I'm not trying. Quite the contrary. I analyze the historic results, the odds etc. ... and yet, 44th place in several rounds in a row. Well, we are not halfway yet, so, I'm not losing my hope. Smiley
I completely understand your pain  Sad it seems to me that the more I do the analysis, the poorer the results I have.

I feel the same pretty often, because it really happens sometimes: you think less - you get better results. But imo those are just coincidences. It's very dangerous to think that nothing depends on your efforts, that "life is chaos" and all that BS. I used to think like that when I was younger, but at one point I decided to change my views, and since then I have been trying to be rational, as rational as possible in any situation. So, I will not stop making efforts, because I know that only under such conditions the probability of success is the highest. (Sorry for the overseriousness. Smiley )

btw. do you think that your username betwrong has nothing to do with the accuracy of your bets?  Grin

Yes, I do. Smiley

Well, if luck is a lady, then this rule can be applied, maybe: "Treat a whore like a lady and a lady like a whore". I'm treating Luck like a whore. We are yet to see the outcome. Smiley

MEGA and MAJOR Jackpots have reached some really big numbers:

Just think of it, guys, 0.02642 BTC! I'm wagering several euros each day hoping to hit it.

Here's my biggest win on Caribbean Anne 2 so far:

It's 8x of my bet. What about you guys? Any luck with the Caribbean Anne? Smiley
3625  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: December 09, 2021, 01:34:02 PM
Some of you guys must have watched high stake slot players in their pajamas rolling thousands of dollars in single spin, buying hundred of thousands worth of bonus spins. If you notice closely yo will found the same pattern all over again and again. They start with loosing most of their bank roll (almost 80-90%), and then going all in at last and guess what, bingo!!! they hit hundreds of thousands of dollars. Very few of them write in their stream discerption about rolling with fake money (or money of which they can only cash out like 1%). Almost all of them scream loudly and show us that they are winning it in real, some are very good at faking it, which attracts lots of new gamblers (with false expectations) and they end up loosing it all which ultimately leads to social disharmony.
The argument they provide is as follow, ''we are entertainers/performers''. This need to be stopped. I am creating this thread to discuss such issues and to warn other new comers about the potential loss. If you have found such streamers please post here so that it can be helpful for new players to make realistic decisions.

If you see that they can lose 80-90% of their bankroll, which is thousands of dollars, you should stop and think what bankroll can you afford. So, it can be concluded that in case your bankroll can be only hundreds of dollars, you can easily lose all of it. I personally think that it's not an "immoral marketing strategy", rather it's our wrong conclusions from what we see is what makes us victims.

Nahh if you want to enter the world of gambling think that it's for fun only.

Good words! Focus on the process, not the outcome. Enjoy the process, and then the outcome may pleasantly surprise you. It's true for many things, but especially it's true for gambling.

~Of course, there are a few exceptions. There are a few Pro Gamblers, They do profit maximum time. But, They have their own strategy. ~

Be very careful about believing that there are some winning strategies. More often than not, gamblers only think they have a good strategy, when in fact they have been just lucky for a while. It can be true even for such games like poker, and it's always true for purely luck based games.

Throughout last 7 days I was participating almost in every game,  and my stats are: Push = 6; Bust = 5. Feels like it's too early to expect another BlackJack because I won one only recently, less than 2 weeks ago, but I'm expecting it, every time I make a bet. Smiley

~
PSG-Brugge: 21 (too bad)
Leipzig-City: 19
Milan-Liverpool: 15
Porto-Atletico: 21 (too bad)
Ajax-Sporting: 20
BVD-Besiktas: 18
Real-Inter: 18 (only 1 min extra time, damn!)
Shakhtar-Sheriff: 15

No idea how could I miss these 2. Too bad indeed.

Saw your post and immediately went by the link and made a bet. It appeared it was my second bet on this event. I hope it's going to be Blackjack. Smiley

Glad to help buddy, I try to post results after every fight for the folks that can't/wont watch. I suggest you take a look at bloodyelbow.com, they have the most detailed fight coverage out of you watching the fight. And they sum it up really nicely so it's not a long read. Also check out Luke Thomas YT channel where you can get a more detailed breakdown of some of the recent events.

Thanks! I bookmarked the page. Interesting site indeed. But can you tell me where this table

came from? I couldn't find it on the site bloodyelbow.com. (And maybe in your future posts make it clickable, or indicate the source at least. Smiley )

But I'm especially glad that I was right about Clay Guida, "a caveman", as he is called sometimes. Few people believed in his victory, but I did. Smiley I like betting on the underdog. Now I regret that I didn't bet on Chris Curtis. I just didn't have the balls. And he won! Damn.
Personally, I think Guida's win is the most impressive win of the night. I know Aldo absolutely outclassed Font in the main event, but I was definitely more impressed with Guida getting the win. I can't say I would have put money on him winning that fight. Impressive stuff.

I'd love to watch the full fight, but maybe it'll appear later on YouTube. In the meantime I watched this video where Guida was called " a maniac" and "Sasquatch from the woods, one step down on the ladder of evolution", jokingly and friendly, of course. Smiley At this point, in the beginning of the first round, Santos almost finished him, hitting him for almost 1 minute straight. How can you recover from that? But Guida did, and won the fight in the second round. Amazing stuff.

It's a strategy that no one has invented yet. Luck is still a big factor in cryptocurrency trading, and this will hardly change any time soon, if ever. So, I agree with you on the "normal business" part. Imo, it should be the primary source of income. Same with stocks trading: most people are doing it as a hobby, having a regular job at the same time.

But I guess some of us here are already formulated their best strategy how to approach on a volatile market of crypto but I bet that none of them never experienced to get what they always wanted and that's winning always in trading. Cryptocurrency is worth to invest with provided that you have the idea how to invest in it, I would also going to agree with the fact that crypto is not the safe haven especially if having the option of leaving a regular job and be full time in crypto.

If you mean trading crypto, then that's the worst thing one can do, imo. Being a developer or cypto journalist is another thing. Those are great jobs, and you can go full time on them. But the funny part is that you need skills, good skills, to to find a decent crypto related job, and not many people have those skills, while almost anyone thinks he can be a good trader.

It's not easy to build a good reputation, especially in the beginning, because you have to start from zero. The idea presented in this thread, is too brave and for obvious reasons could not be successful. However, I think that if the OP would like to continue, he could use a trusted escrow and radically reduce, or even leave the fee for the first few raffles.

Honestly, I don't get it. Why do wee need such a raffle, in the first place? Don't we have many reputable and trusted sites advertised on this forum? So many that it's impossible for me to even register on all of them. And it's not because I don't trust them. I do. I just don't have time to play there.

So, why do we need such a service? (I'm writing not for the OP, bc it looks like he has left this place for good. I'm wondering if other forum members have a different opinion on this matter.)
3632  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: December 08, 2021, 08:47:33 AM

Is it true? I've never tried it myself because I've always thought that it's like $1 per hour at best. Well, at one point I was making probably less than $1/hour solving captures, so it would be interesting to know what did I miss back then.

Surveys pay well if you live in the US/ UK/ CA/ AU or those mainly English-speaking countries.

Anywhere else and they can fuck off with frequent screenouts.

That's what I heard and that's why I didn't even try to make money on doing surveys. But it was long time ago. Several years have passed since the last time I researched it, and maybe things have changed. Now when I google it I see very different payments mentioned: from 41 cents per hour to more than $20 per survey. And probably you are right, this job is for English-speaking countries mostly, but it would be interesting to hear from someone who really was doing this job.

As of Jackpots, I won them 2 times, 100k and 10k sats, and here's my stats for them:

~

I though jackpot winning is the bigger prizes we win from free rolls but just now got to know it is the 8888 number form multiply BTC game.
Well yeah I never played for the jackpot since it was costly.

It's not that costly, actually. Just add 2 sats to your bet in the Multiply BTC game, and you can potentially win 10k sats. Add 13 stas, and you'll win 100k sats if you are lucky.

Today I tried to hit it, and was pretty close at one point,

but nope, I didn't win it. It was fun, though. Smiley

I've earned 8.5 points this time

One of my best results so far. If I was winning 8.5 in every round, I'd be close to the top 20 right now. And yet I'm still sitting on the 44th place

You guys are terrific predictors. It's so hard to compete with you. Smiley

Guys look at how big MEGA and MAJOR Jackpots have become!

I really hope one of us here will win one of those prizes. Smiley

Today I played Caribbean Anne 2 for some time. Didn't won a Jackpot, but as @LFC_Bitcoin said above it's a great game to play. I mean, you just can't stop when you have this

already, right? Smiley In the end my best win was only 2x of my bet, but I had my fun. I call it "meditation on slots", and it's always worth the money spent.

Thx That`s what i wanted to understand. Smiley Looks like that this is a world trend - people become more practical, strategies becomes more defensive. In such a way bluff percentage decreases and pocket cards becomes the one of most important thing in the game. Bluff ceases to be the decisive tool, it just helps sometimes.

Well, it's still poker, so you can't win without bluffing occasionally, but you are right, good players are doing it less often these days.

~ Poker is like chess, it's a mind game and the smart one will always win.

I don't think poker is like chess. They are very different games, actually. Just read our discussion with @mak013 above, and then come back here. Smiley

But if you don't have time for that, I'll tell you this: chess is a game of complete information, meaning that luck plays zero part in it. It is determined how to play in this or that situation, you just have to know it. Memorize all the games played during the past 100 years by the best chess players, and you are guaranteed to win most of the time. But you can't do that trick with poker.

~So, I deposit only what I can afford to lose now. I almost quit gambling, but sometimes that kind of promotion gets me back to gambling again. ~

It's better late than never. Congrats on that decision, mate! Of course, what we can afford to lose is always a big question. Can I afford to lose my daily wage? Sure. But it will hurt. And if I'll be losing it daily? Well ...

~
That is a playstyle that many people gamble with, so do not feel bad about it. I have seen plenty of people who wager this way and I have tested it a while back in the day myself as well. However, I have to say my psychology couldn't handle it, I understand people who could feel happy about this, it is a big win after all but I just couldn't handle all those losses back to back constantly non-stop and that is why I stopped gambling that way. I rather gamble with as minimum odds as possible and wager a bit higher, keep having plenty of wins back to back and then I would be able to lose it all back in a single bet and yet it is still a lot of greens for me which is what I like to see.

That's nice actually, because gambling should be about good feelings, not about making money with it.

And again my stake returned on the two latest ones:

I love this game. There are not so many busts(for me at least). It feels like you either win or you get your money back.

Just look at the latest results:

New Rules effective September 14, 2021

Blackjack! = 9
Bust = 77
Push = 61
~

Normally, for 9 Blackjacks we could expect around 190 busts. Clearly it's a positive EV game.
