Who is Tumi on Superbru? I see he has taken the lead and was up there in the money whole time and I have no idea who he is.

Same question I had, was hoping he'd pop up here and alert us all to the new bastard of the pool You've done a tremendous job climbing up too though. This pool is crazy tough, took a few risks these last 2 matchweeks but Leeds disappointed me against the grain, and then when I chose them to draw, they won, haha. Oh well!

Leicester city & Aston Villa was the exact opposite. Not sure why they decided to sit out Vardy for the first half, then put him on in the second expecting him to salvage a win. As it was the only one of my predictions I didn't get a result for.

To be fair, Vardy and Maddison were both doubts for the game, and bookies adjusted a bit, Villa were actually the slight favourites in the game (so those of us who backed them actually backed the bookie, though I did so because I thought Steven Gerrard would enjoy a bit of joy against Brendan Rodgers, cool connection over there, Rodgers being ex Liverpool, then ex Celtic)

for my part, I backed Leicester several times this season, and finally came to conclusion that their fight for CL spot last season is not going to happen again

missed only two matches this round so far, Chelsea and Leeds, while Chelsea is a surprise, Leeds is obviously being backed from my side due to better expectation from them, than they can deliver

my Everton is playing Arsenal tonight, and we are sliding to relegation fight with several rounds without a win, maybe tonight is the night

everton are winless in their last 8 games (6L-2D), worse form that any of three teams sitting in relegation zone right now, confidence is low, they have a bunch of injuries, and yet it feels like the game could go either way

Arsenal to win @2 odds across the bookies is making me   can Arsenal bottle this and drop points? heh! throwing a lifesaver to a bottom-half team,, doesn't it feel like that would be a very arsenal/arteta thing to do tonight? nah...but let me just lock my arsenal win prediction before i change my mind lol

Everton the last weeks I only saw draws and lost games in Superbru so I think tonight is not the night for them to make a change of the events.I am going for an away Arsenal win in the pool but also to bet a little money on Arsenal as the odd are really good over 2.00.

This week though will be not with tight schedules as there will be European competitions in the middle of it,we have to wait until Friday to be back in Premier League action.

Everton got a rightful win against Arsenal. Even though Richarlison's 2 goals were disallowed by VAR due to offside, he didn't give up and succeeded in scoring a decent goal. It really surprised me that there were only 4 people who predicted Everton to win in the pool. All in all, it was an unbelievable game. I like the Premier League especially because of this.

I'm more surprised that anyone actually went for Everton to win, I mean Everton probably have the worst run of form in the PL before this game, they've a not won any if their last 8 matches, their last was back on September, and it was against Norwich. I could have considered them to stand a chance if they're title contenders since that's the only people Arsenal seemed to have no idea how to play against.

Perhaps this win and the return of some of their best players might spark and new run of form.

Sounds a bit silly even while I am writing it but I believe Emile Smith Rowe is half of the attacking threat in Arsenal and he was not playing yesterday. Auba is missing everything, Nketiah is also missing everything and he confirmed that yesterday with a header straight to the post from 1 meter out, Laca and Saka are playing ok for me but they are not very direct while ESM is the one who always scraps a goal or make the difference with direct attacking runs.

I too am really surprised how Everton managed to change things in the last minutes of the game.I had an Arsenal win and also did bet a little money on Arsenal as Everton really was a team that had done only really bad games and a lot of lost games and draws in the last 5 at least but maybe they were more than 5,I just didn't check further.That is the beauty of Premier League,this league is full of surprises for good or for bad.

Ah I dropped again after this week,,, so hard to keep the spirit and motivation up when even at the bottom it seems possible to drop even more. I guess it is my fault for trying to pick the weird results but in this way it is the only way possible to try and climb.

But hahay is the most amazing to me, got the yellow cap,,, number 1 in this pool and number 1 in Serie A pool! Simply amazing.

yeah, Everton goal in overtime was spectacular, take a look if you did not seen it
Gray scored it and got yellow card afterwards, but it was worth it, I had 1:2 in the pool, but as toffies fan, more than happy to see Everton winning the match

I get best results when following gut feeling but that requires actually watching most of the games, and that is not always possible. Especially when you are playing in 4 pools like myself. But I give it my utmost to watch as much as possible. No need to mention, but my wife is not exactly approving

Maybe you're overthinking it. Maybe don't put too much thought into it and just go with your gut instinct. I usually just check the last 5 results of each team which it gives you on Superbru so there's not much effort involved. The table is quite compact point wise so I wouldn't get disheartened as consistent results can quickly get you up the table.

I feel the same pretty often, because it really happens sometimes: you think less - you get better results. But imo those are just coincidences. It's very dangerous to think that nothing depends on your efforts, that "life is chaos" and all that BS. I used to think like that when I was younger, but at one point I decided to change my views, and since then I have been trying to be rational, as rational as possible in any situation. So, I will not stop making efforts, because I know that only under such conditions the probability of success is the highest. (Sorry for the overseriousness. )

you never know, maybe Leeds make something, but it is doubtful

regarding tonight, it is a relegation derby Brentford and Watford, where Brentford had good start so they are in the middle of the table for now, but they will slide near the bottom and relegation fight eventually
during the weekend all three top teams have easy matches, should not be a miss for any of them

Brentford with the complete comeback to steal the show, I felt this was going to be an easy win for Brentford but Watford almost earned point, not sure if it would have been deserved though.

Perfect result for me to start this week amazing. Smells good for this round hoping i get at least 15+ points in this round. Also got a bit lucky with that late penalty in the end for Brentford but happy to finally hit a correct result in the league

also had an exact score on this match, and that brought me on spot 4, have to write a post about it, since I do not think that I will be able to hold position for long, and it is my best position in the pool so far

it was a tough match to guess, since Watford is in the series of bad results, and Brentford won last home match against Everton, but a bit of luck and 3 points from Friday inauguration match
