3621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: July 30, 2021, 02:29:57 PM
It's more real because we know how it works! How it's being created and distributed, we know it can't be counterfeited! Everything is transparent! Simple and easy to understand! I will just repeat the question that we all heard many times: Who do you trust more, people or algorithm? I know I don't believe people, especially people who are in charge, with a lot of power in their hands!
In the end, money in the bank is not your money, it's theirs, and they can do things you don't like... while Bitcoins in your wallet are yours, you can do what you want with them!
3622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: July 30, 2021, 12:15:35 PM
Anyway, I think there's a weaver about it if someone wants to participate on this bloody sports then they have to be ready and accept the consequences and I think that's the risk of it. Meaning high risk equals high rewards.
...

Others succeed, others failed, and that's the reality of this sport.

I would say it's reality generally, in sport or life! Some people win, some lose... Why someone is winning and why someone is losing can be explained if we have all the relevant facts! After all, there are consequences for our actions, whatever they may be, and it's why we need to know what are we doing, how to do it properly, our goals and limitations.
I don't have a problem with people who have extreme standards, with people who risk a lot more than money, they risk their lives in trying to achieve something! It's their choice and we need to respect that!

thay answered me Cheesy

lucky you, today i just bought the 2500 FUN tokens im so glad i didnt buy around 60 to 100 sats and im buying at 40 sats, it may still fall lower afterall thats what altcoins do but still its a lot cheaper than when people bought at the start of the program. At least now i dont have to console myself that its for long term and WOF will recover my money although i do believe that the coin will still recover, given time especially seeing as that pump from 14 sats to almost 200 sats happened in just three months.

There is a lot happening with freebitco and funtoken...
1. burning tokens
2. cheaper blockhain move
3. apps/platforms for the token for use and seamless transfer

In nigeria we call problems at the start of projects like this drop in price - "initial gra gra" i believe in this coin and i wish i could buy and go to space for a few weeks then come back to earth and years have passed then i can spend my millions

I like your enthusiasm! I agree that problems at the start are normal, and that future can bring many things for FUN token holders! I see some potential in this, and it's why I have some tokens too, and I plan to buy them more. My main motive is having more WoF spins, but I also think that the price is bottomed, or at least very close, so the only way from here is up!

"some" of you may, but you are not the only people, there are also a lot of people who gamble here because they like to make that forever income, because let's face it you gamble here for a while, get the coin and then use that to make money until this website is totally gone and casinos usually last very long so that means you can make money for a decade at least. You really think that there are no people like that gambling here?

We can argue about how much percentage of the people are like you and how many are just here to make dividends but at the end of the day there are some that does it and THAT creates a vortex, that is the reality. Which means that my point stands, yours is not wrong, there are many that like gambling for gambling sake and they will continue so I am not saying you are wrong neither, just do not forget the existence of what I said along with what you said.

What is your point exactly?! You will get dividends if you hold tokens, the only way to get to those tokens is to wager, at least at Chips, at this moment! But even if it's tradable, like it's the case with some other in-house tokens, you can buy them and stake them for dividend payouts! Look Sy's explanation...

That "forever income" sounds like you don't know much about this feature! You can have "forever income", but to maintain the same daily payout, you have to gamble/invest more, simply the distribution is not over, with more tokens issued your cut is getting lower every day!

I don't want to argue, I am simply trying to understand what you want to say! Are you a gambler or just an investor? Do you have any Chips?
3625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why newbies lose huge money in trading on: July 29, 2021, 06:46:36 PM
As the headline says... newbie! A person who is inexperienced, a person who is trying something for the first time! And some of them dare to try something for the first time with huge money! This is a clear mistake, never go big if you are doing it for the first time! This works for trading as well as for some other activities like gambling, investing, etc!

I believe there's no person here who didn't make at least a few mistakes in trading! Making mistakes in trading sure means losing some money, and that is not the end of the world! Learn from that, try to be better next time! It's how we get the necessary life experience!
3626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 29, 2021, 05:13:30 PM
Have you seen the slap ritual of a coach before his athlete goes into fight?
This is now viral: Olympic athlete slapped in face by coach in pre-fight ‘ritual’

To be honest, when I opened the link, I expected to see something more shocking. This is a common spanking and in many sports it is a routine phenomenon (for example, in weightlifting) associated with the fact that the athlete is thus trying to get an additional rush of adrenaline. Maybe this video went viral because of the preliminary shaking that the trainer did to begin with?

I bet it's very motivating... when you get slapped like this you are ready for the real fight, whoever comes next! I didn't see this, now the coach is facing criticism, as we can read in the article... I am not sure what to think, is it OK or not... I believe they are not doing this for the first time, after all, this is a fighting discipline, so this "motivational slapping" can be good! Just my opinion, if they are crazy enough to fight, why not have some crazy preparation for the fight! So I agree with KTChampions here, this video is not so shocking as a sensational headline sounds to be!

3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: July 29, 2021, 12:31:01 PM
I prefer websites with mild KYC policies (those that ask for KYC when there's something suspicious going on or big sums involved), but it's a personal preference thing. Over the years, it seems that more and more websites start enforcing KYC, at least sometimes. KYC is usually outsourced to companies that specialize in it specifically, and unless you become a wanted criminal and the law enforcement asks them for your data, I don't think anyone cares or will use it. There's also a risk of getting identity stolen due to hacks or something like this, but I think it's pretty rare if a company's legit. I don't like KYC, but I'm not 100% against it if a legit company's doing it.

Nice comment! I try to avoid KYC whenever it's possible, but if it's something legit and I wish to be part of something, I will do KYC, it's not a big deal! At least for us "ordinary guys", without any illegal intentions!
Websites are enforcing KYC more and more, it's what we get with regulations! If you wish to see a casino (or any other service) with some licence, that licence can mean "KYC mandatory" for all users!

I still play poker at SwC, and they don't ask for KYC! It's far from perfect, it's far from fiat poker places, but I like it... and I think we need some good only-crypto poker place! CoinPoker started something, and I was active there in their beggings, for some reason I stopped playing there, so I am not sure where they are now, and what's happening with this place.
3628  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: July 29, 2021, 10:03:51 AM
When I first started I was a trader, but not a good one. I got invested too much in my trades and my stomach couldn't handle it, selling at bad moments. Managing your emotions as a trader every is hard and when you don't make enough returns it's not worth it. So I switched to become an investor a few years ago. Its better to sleep good at night and to not be anxious all the time for some lower profits.

I guess it's the beauty of crypto... you are free to try and practice whatever you want! And there's nothing wrong with trying many things, before finding what suits you. I believe most of us here are investors (99% of us have some coins on holding), most of us regularly trade (short, mid, long), and when we are actively participating in these two, for sure we are speculators, more or less! We all combine different things in crypto, what makes the difference is "how we do it"!
3629  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: July 29, 2021, 05:23:46 AM
...
The problem is that when there is token that can be earned by wagering there is a good amount of people who keep wagering and then hoping to make some money from the dividends, when you give people an option to just buy it instead of wagering they will do that instead of wagering because why risk your money when you can simply buy it.

However this creates a vortex, which means that less and less people will wager because they can simply buy the token instead of risk wagering, which means that there will be less wagering, when there is less wagering there is less dividends earned, and when you earn less dividends that means price will fall and when the price falls then people will wager less to earn it and the cycle repeats itself. This is why I hope that chip doesn't do something like this, it is not going to end up with anything profitable for anyone ever.

I don't see that "vortex" you are talking about... some of us gamble because we like it, and if we get something extra from that (mining) even better! It's why we risk money, to gamble and have fun, just investing for a sake of staking and receiving dividend payouts is something different, you have many projects for that, it doesn't have to be related to gambling! There's also one more interesting thing, maybe you can buy tokens for $100, but you can also wager a lot with $100, and mine a lot more tokens than you can buy with that money!

Casinos should be casinos, with or without some kind of "profit-sharing" feature! They should take care of their customers, add more games from time to time, have nice promotions, etc... and as long as they are doing that they will have players!
3630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: July 28, 2021, 03:54:26 PM
A million years ago... when we had only poker machines in my neighborhood... and after winning hand you can play lower/higher, sometimes people played until the machine gets "tilted"... I can remember exactly after how many wins that happens, 23 or something like that! It's like maximum payout and that's it! Something that doesn't happen often, and many people lose a lot before they hit that!

I guess it's the same with slots! We want to see max win! It's not like that happens to everyone, but it happens! Some people have more luck than others! Just yesterday one guy from BTCGosu won x5000, max win on Zeus slot, cashed out $2k! It's what I think breaking a code/machine means! In my country we say it "tilt", like in pinball, when the machine is not working, you broke it in that moment!
3631  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BETFURY OLYMPIC GAMES for $150 000🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 28, 2021, 01:23:51 PM
I like the new rank system. It is now coupled to your wager in USDT (and not anymore in BTC), which is more fair and the ranks are more easily achievable. However to become part of the VIP club and get exclusive promotions you need to wager a minimum of 10 M USDT, which is pretty high.
There are only 46 gamblers who reached the VIP club, and I agree with you that a wager of 10 mln is a lot. By the way, the total wager for getting the maximum rank(20) is one bn. So this rank seems unattainable, and I guess even whales won't be able to get it in the near future.

The new rank system looks better in my opinion! I am a "BET MAKER III", and I need $50k for the next "GAME MASTER I" rank! For total wagering ($400k) rank bonus is $75!
Becoming a BF legend seems unattainable, but higher rollers can get there if they gamble for years... even I am some higher rank, but that is gambling over a longer period of time!

By the way, I am totally unlucky with these Olympic spins... is it the same for you guys? Smiley
3632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help with trading on: July 28, 2021, 11:43:17 AM
It's why my pairs are with stable coin, BTC/USDT, TRX/USDT... and I try to not move from my pairs, it's what I follow, I know what I can expect...
In the beginning, I made many mistakes like OP now... I make a profit with some pair, and I move all that money to some "potential" coin/token and I get busted! I don't do that anymore and if I invest in some new project it's for the long term! Simply, too many pump and dump schemes happen with them, so it's more like gambling than trading.
3633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling ombudsman - do you feel protected? on: July 28, 2021, 08:01:25 AM
Even now educated people are easily getting scammed. In real-time myself experienced an incident. It is something like gambling. A well educated and retired employee was contacted by a well known person. He has said for $1000 you pay in advance we'll pay $10000 in a month. This way out of belief and trust over the person he had given $20000. Days passed nothing came back. Finally understood he had made fool of him. Now he is in a situation unable to complaint/contact police, because he don't have any document to state he gave money to him. Another thing if he go complaint, then the incident will come to light. This will create bad image to this person, because he had got good name in the society.

Now lost is lost forever, so better is to have prior understanding and analysis before depositing. Education is must along with the real life examples. Only then people will try to stand away from scam approaches.

Mindtrust explained:

You can't protect people from their own stupidity.

So someone said give me $1k and I will give $10k in a month!!! x10 in a month without any explanation?! I would say that something is wrong with this educational system, and for sure something is wrong with this "well-known, educated person from this story"! Smiley

Here on the forum, you learn that pretty quickly if it sounds too good it's a big red flag, be extra careful if you plan to try it, or even better just move away!

Like KTCChampions I don't see any good sides of this idea, just another office... maybe the current institutions should try to do a better job, they are paid for that! But I don't see that happening either, at least in my country!
3634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 27, 2021, 10:59:29 PM
lately i have been stressed off and depressed because of lack of sleep, i just got my hand on so many thing and among those ...

I wish to focus on this part! I am a gambler, and I am a trader... and it's not some big problem in combining this two if you have free time! Before everything else, you need to have free time to trade and gamble! You need time for some research, for placing bets/orders... and repeating that as often as you can...
It's the problem when you don't have time for all that... when "life" obligations take all of you, and you barely find time to turn on the computer! Then you need to be creative, and that's individual, how you find time for gambling/trading, doing researches, reading about new things...
Nobody can tell you how to arrange your life! It's the balance that each of us has to search for! Combine what you can, but don't let something suffer because you wish to make a bit more money!

3635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess personal wallets are a thing of the past now. on: July 27, 2021, 09:52:44 PM
I tried to read this thread a few times... and I don't get it!

Who knows what OP tried to do... there are many wallets, official wallets, for many coins... with or without staking feature! Depending on the coin/chain you like!

What personal wallet is? If you have a private key it's your personal wallet... what are we talking about here exactly?

The time is passing, and yes crypto is a lot bigger than it was... is that something strange?! Since I am here, and before me, crypto was the crazy place, every day something new, so many new projects, ideas... crypto is developing constantly! It's impossible to follow all the things around! So we are here where we are, but it's not like that some old, good, proven, projects are failed... they are still here!
3636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get trading advice and tips from? on: July 27, 2021, 08:20:02 PM
Lately, I am not following anything related to predictions about possible price movements! Bitcoin, or any other coin/token... The first reason is that I don't have enough time for everything I want, the second reason is that I am a bit tired of reading the same things over and over again! With some coins, all you need to have is patience and reasonable thinking! The prices are making crazy swings, and if you are waiting for some "reasonable" top/bottom, you will see that, most likely! By that I mean if you are waiting to buy Bitcoin at $10k, it's a bit stretched, and for sure it's not something reasonable, but if you are waiting for $30k again, that will probably happen! It's the same with tops, and other coins/tokens... in my opinion, anything can happen, and I base my opinion on the past +5 years... in that time I saw many crazy swings, swings in the direction nobody expected to see!
So... don't be greedy! Be patient! Timing for buying/selling is everything!
3637  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 27, 2021, 11:38:19 AM
A financially stable person has almost zero worries. They can invest their money with little to no risk into things that will eventually generate profit. As compared to a person living paycheck after check, 1 loss in investment will lead to a sufferable amount of consequences such as no payment of utility bills, no food, etc.

It is much easier to invest if you have a pile of money.  Wink

Nice point! People who live from day to day can't allow themselves to hold anything valuable... simply, you need to eat every day, you have to pay bills every week/month... and when you are always short on money how can you think about putting something on a side?

So rich people, who are financially stable, don't worry about basic needs, and they can afford to put some money in this and that, and simply to wait for the future to come. Like always, a nice bankroll is an advantage! That was like that before, and will be like that in the future!

Perhaps they are busy maintaining the site, therefore I got lots of maintenance notifications these days haha
...

It has been an ordinary sight there, lol. Just close the chat room once you start gambling
...
Without extra paid I doubt they are willing to do it on regular basis (if those new community managers are from outside the forum). The best scenario they just giving updates in the early months after the acceptance

I keep chat closed most of the time, but when I open it, in 5-10 minutes I see many "please tip me" lines!
Updating and moderating this thread shouldn't be some big problem I guess... it doesn't require a lot of time and energy!

...

I think it has already been improved a little bit as you now need to wager a certain amount before you can chat, but there are still some beggars; but you can also find these on the other sites.

I know Baby, it's improved, but it's far from clean... and it's the same in some other casino char rooms! Well, I would be very strict about this matter! I believe the same people are doing this in different casinos...
3639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 26, 2021, 08:22:59 PM
With the existence of internet and it's more progressive services, this online gambling also enjoying the benefits. It's an easy access between gamblers and the house, simply choose the gambling site and deposit fund.

If you are doubting the site or having problem transacting, google is your friend to read and understand how to facilitate, everything
is easy as long as you know how to read and follow instructions.

I agree that online gambling is easy to understand! Even without the help of Google! Simply follow instructions, and I would add "ask support" if you don't understand something, they will clear everything for you!
Online gambling is getting more popular, but it's not like land-based casinos are losing customers. Simply there are too many people in this world, and the number is rising! So I guess it would be fair to say that online and land-based casinos will have enough clients in the future! And I believe there are people who love both variants!

Bcgame currently looking for community managers for the following countries: India, Phillippine, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
...

BC.game profile is not active since May 13, 2021! So people from here don't know about this! So this is a nice share, maybe someone from here will be interested and apply...

I guess BC.games needs more managers for their man chat... so much begging there! I am not sure what's happening in these specific chat rooms (India, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam), but I can bet it's a real mess there too! And it would be nice if some of those managers pay more attention to this thread, it wouldn't hurt!
