3621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to Trust, Fiat Banks or BTC? on: July 26, 2021, 02:06:30 PM
Trust fiat to banks and btc to your crypto wallets. Each currency has its own purpose.
Exactly, I wonder if someone could live a normal life if he only has bitcoin as his money, there's no massive adoption for bitcoin yet and you can't just make transactions for a small amount as it's not instant and the fees are high. The real status of our world now is fiat is still adopted more and I think it will not change in the future as bitcoin will continue to be an alternative currency only.
3622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: July 26, 2021, 01:48:24 PM
Boxing is a dangerous sport, but there are only a few cases where a boxer dies in the ring and that would not stop boxing sports. As a boxer, make sure you are fit enough and ready to take the punches in case you get hit, it's already in our culture, one of the most popular sports and I don't think it will be ban, maybe they'll change the rules but it will exist.

Look, there are a lot of boxers that suffers heavy beating in the ring and loss, but they recovered, so boxing is not really that dangerous for every boxer that they could die when heavily hit.
3623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 26, 2021, 12:59:44 PM
Some sportsbooks even allow you to cash out your bet during the fight, that's a good added feature as you are like treating your gambling activity as trading. Pacquiao's training is more public than Spence, so we only have an idea bout Pacquiao's condition than of Spence, and probably that's the reason for the odds swing in this fight.

This opportunity is provided by almost all top bookmakers now. The only question is its usefulness, usually the amount you can return is much less than what you can get if you wait for the outcome with the current result. I understand the mathematical background of this and I understand that bookmakers cannot give out money for free, but in my opinion such options are very unprofitable.

I don't think they'll put a feature that would make their business suffer, the cash-out option is a very good way of marketing, and honestly, I don't do cash out most of the time because I'm more thrilled when I wait for the outcome of the game. The odds that we saw now is not a disadvantage of the bookies whether we bet now or later, why? because the odds displayed would attract bettors from different sides.
3624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 25, 2021, 09:56:27 PM

He cancelled the fight with Casimero because of the personal attacks on him and his family.

But he has option B - the Inoue fight, which is more exciting to see against a all Filipino war.

No one is underestimating Donaire, it's that he is facing the Monster who beat him in the first fight although somewhat he won because he as able to break Inoue's orbital bone.
and a considered as Rematch , We know how close their last fight was and I believe that if there is a chance to make it best again then this is the right time.

This will turn out as decision making for Donaire that if he lose on this one then he might really consider Retiring as We also believe that he is in the right age of leaving the boxing arena and become at least a Trainor or a manager depend on what next step he is planning for.

But i will still go for Donaire in this one no matter how advantageous Inoue is.

I saw the last fight and I don't really see it as a close fight as the result says it's Inoue who dominates the fight. Yes, there are situations in the fight that Inoue had struggled a bit, he was actually injured but he is smart enough to finish and still dominate the fight, Donaire was lucky he was able to survive the puchens of Inoue.

Probably of all the fights of Inoue, that fight was the closest although the decision is a unanimous win by him.

As we can see on his record (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/628407), most of his wins are in KO, he has 21 fights, 18 of it are in KO while 3 are in UD.
So it's reasonable to say that Donaire gave him a little problem, and in fact he injured Inoue in this fight.
3625  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will Bitcoin go? on: July 25, 2021, 09:37:28 PM
I think $27K is the final destination.  Maybe no one knows how much the price of bitcoin will go down, but 27k USD is the bottom, andthe price will  not be less than that.
Where do you know the Bitcoin price won't be less than $27k? Do you analyze it yourself or get the information from a Bitcoin expert? I am very curious about the reason you said this. If you are speaking seriously, please give us the proof that it is not a shit statement. I doubt if someone can predict the bottom price of Bitcoin in the future. Even Satoshi probably will have difficulty determining the future price of Bitcoin. It is purely determined by the demands although sometimes there is a manipulation issue.

Must be his personal opinion, and even an opinion coming from an expert, we should not believe them especially if they'll guarantee a price as bitcoin is so volatile and it's very unpredictable. You'll see it pump big time today, the next day it will dump, that's how the market moves, I've never seen bitcoin having an uptrend for a long period of time, it's usually short then correction comes right after.

In case anyone needs a stream - https://stream.nbcolympics.com/basketball-mens-prelim-game-4-france-usa

Edit: durant w/3 fouls already is not good at all. The US lacking size is hurting them quite a bit right now too.  This US team is not even close to as good as it could be, but they still should without question win this game.  Prop to France coming out to play today, making it a fun game so far.

I was about to ask about a live streaming, thanks to that you have answered it before I post here. I am just looking at the scoreboard as I also put a little bet on the USA to cover the handicap, and so far they are in the lead so I'm happy now.

37-45 halftime score.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: July 25, 2021, 12:37:04 PM
I think if you often guess the price movement of bitcoin on several sites and use money for betting then it is certain that it includes gambling and the risk you do is very big because the predicted bitcoin price is not always correct, it is better to predict the price without spend money but can pay off when your guess is right.
Actually, we already did that in trading but we do not realize it. When we analyze the market and do not know where the price will go, we only give a random price that bitcoin will reach, which is gambling. But we did not think that is gambling because we will say that is my prediction for the bitcoin price.

It will be a gambler's choice whether they want to use bitcoin or altcoin. If they use bitcoin to gamble, they will still use it whenever the bitcoin price is high.

Well, we should not be surprised by that as we are gambling with bitcoin, we have to get used to its high volatility. We don't need to become a good trader in order to understand it, it's very much basic, you make some, you lose some, that's like gambling also, you win or lose. For sure if we ask gamblers, they would not say they have a problem with volatility, their problem is the high fees when the market is congested.
When the market is congested, that will be a pain for us because we will think twice to use bitcoin to gamble. But fortunately, we have altcoin that can accommodate our needs to play gambling and keep our bitcoin for other things.

A gambler will still play gambling, and if they really like bitcoin, they will use bitcoin. Otherwise, they will take a break for a while and waiting until the fee can reduce a lot.

Altcoins can be a great option, we can use TRC20 USDT and pay only 1 USD per transaction, gambling sites just need to add it to their payment method so gamblers will have a lot of options. As a gambler, we always look for cheap fees and fast transactions and the only answer is the altcoins, actually, it's easy, let's just educate ourselves and we can gamble without a problem regardless of the market situation.

It would be a great news if the most popular crypto gambling sites in the space will begin adding TRC20 USDT to their platform, unfortunately, there are still plenty of gambling sites that are not supporting TRC20 USDT. Hopefully they'll realize soon that it will help them gain more gamblers and that would result to an increase of revenue, regardless of the market situation, anyone can gamble without worries as stable coin gives the solution.
3628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 25, 2021, 12:25:49 PM
personaly i am prefer to buy and hold project that solved what actually be problem in market now. I see scalabitlity , network traffic and gas fee be main problem now and alot project offer the solution of these such as bsc , matic , solana or other platform. And i will pick into these project , specially for Solana maybe i will give bigger allocation.
Good luck, Solana is a great project too, but let us not look at how useful the project is, we also have to look at the team that creates and manage the project's development. We should have knowledge about how they will market the project as that's very vital on the project's success, less marketing, less recognition and even how good the project is, if it will not notice, it will not be in the big market.
3629  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: July 25, 2021, 10:00:50 AM
Hi,
I had an account on cloudbet years ago. but i forgot my password and email. is there anyway to recover it with just the username?
I doubt it's possible, no site that has that kind of account recovery standard, maybe you can ask for the email if they'll respond then you have a chane to recover as you can reset the email password if you have the information needed.

And one more thing, do i need to complete kyc to withdraw my money? or it is free to use cloudbet without doing the kyc.
thanks in advance.
Based on my experience, I can gamble with the site without a problem, my account has not KYC FYI.
3630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Is Litecoin an Attractive Investment Asset? on: July 25, 2021, 09:40:16 AM
Honestly, based on my personal review, Litecoin is not attractive anymore, with the number of new coins that are successful, the old ones will be forgotten although they will still remain in circulation. Litecoin priced at 126 USD, (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/litecoin/), in the past, it's even higher than ETH, so it tells us that it's not growing while ETH is growing.
3631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 25, 2021, 08:35:21 AM
So you say; Raptors championship is a fraud too? Stop this discrediting. I thought you guys are NBA viewers for long.

If the Nets are healthy, the Bucks will adjust. If the Lakers are healthy, the Suns will adjust.

There's no 100% assurance that these eliminated teams if healthy will beat instead the Bucks and Suns. You are just creating speculations based on the big names on the teams since it's Lebron, AD, Durant, Irving, Harden. These are just normal players too they are beatable.

Edit:  unbeatable to beatable lol typo
Look, I confess that this NBA season there were a lot of unforeseen events, like several players got injured during the regular season/playoffs.

Never in my life would I have imagined the Nets and Lakers were quickly eliminated from the playoffs.

I believe that if there are no unforeseen events on Lakers and Nets and the team and it's 100%, I'm sure the Suns and Bucks will need to adjust to beat these teams and also win the season.

It's a big challenge for them especially the Bucks because next season, the Brooklyn Nets will already be a healthy team and they will also adjust, who knows, they might acquire more players that would help them succeed on their campaign, maybe they can get Drummond of Lakers will trade or dump him.
3632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any chance market bounce back to where it was on: July 24, 2021, 09:35:32 PM
The history is just repeating itself. I'm sure that things are just roaming around as they did before. Prices will go back to normal but no one knows when the exact date is so we have to be observant and keep our eyes on our holding's prices. The market would go better soon.

Absolutely agree with your statement, I also believe market will go back to normal like 2 months ago. But the sad part is we don't know when it is exactly going to happen. So the scenario I do now is just keep on checking the market and the news, also I invest in bitcoin  and some of alts. I think this investment is in the right time because the price is so down right now so we can gain more money in the future when the market start to bullish again.

My conservative prediction here is it will go back in years to come, I mean, we will not see a new bull run anytime soon but it's 100% that the new bull run will come. Price shoots up so high in the bull run this year, to strengthen the market, correction is necessary and it's already happening now.
3633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 24, 2021, 09:14:07 PM
That is not happening in sports betting, maybe the odds will move but you are right, once you put your bet, it will not be amended anymore, unless you allow the bookie to cheat you. Maybe what he was trying to say is just about the "odds movement", and in some websites, they have a feature that you can cash out your bet even before the fight.
It is possible in every sports book which has a cash out setup right, whenever you place a bet months before the event and when the odds change in favor of you it is possible to withdraw them but most of the time you wont be seeing any major swings before the match, but these swings happen in the fight game before the weigh ins or if there is an update about any injury news.

I have seen some sparring sessions online of Manny Pacquiao and he looks faster but only during the fight we will know his condition.

3634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 24, 2021, 02:03:20 PM

let's take it one step at a time, I know we want a Filipino champion as we support them, but Casimero still has to win against Rigondeaux so he will pass on the next stage.

True, Rigondeaux already not in his prime anymore is a very dangerous fighter, dangerous in a manner that he can beat an opponent with his defensive style, I think even if Inoue will face Rigondeaux, there's still not assurance that Inoue will win, and we can count out Donaire as he loses against Rigondeaux in their fight.
3635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: July 24, 2021, 01:18:44 PM
Those who waited dogecoin price to go below 20 cents - what is your tactics right now? Are you buying more coins right now, as the price looks sweet, holding your coins or selling in a rush? Community havent heard much from Elon about dogecoin (or he has lost interest in it), or does not react like they used to. Without support of community or people that can really influence the price, dogecoin is falling down to where it was. Its price can not be supported with enthusiasts only. I think that we will see the continuation of a price till another major Bitcoin price growth.
now , current rate dogecoin slowly recovered when bitcoin rise naturally. Elon musk confirm that he has bitcoin and dogecoin , is it could be good sign for doge in future ? will tesla or spacex really will accept doge as payment ? As old cryptocurrency , doge coin has strong and solid community ever. Since beginning when expert said doge as joke project and underestimate on it , time prove it could still survive. And dont ever we repeat the same mistake by underestimate about doge coin future .
It's just a normal reaction because bitcoin has recovered a bit, but if you look at the increase, it's just a small percentage compared to what we saw during the last bull run, I trust crypto but this time, I think it's just a bull trap, and we should be careful in making a decision to ride the hype.
3636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 24, 2021, 12:35:35 PM
Being a casino owner is not a joke, dealing with a huge capital and huge taxes I’m pretty sure they have to do everything to win and that’s why the odds for becoming a profitable casinos is high if there’s a lot of players but if none, then their business will slowly die since not all casinos are able to lure gamblers on their site or casinos.
Exactly, it doesn't mean that you have the capital you can already start a casino.
Knowledge is very important, this is a risky business, yes a lot of businesses had succeeded but we can't discount the possibility that you will also lose big money because your business will fail.

I’m more of a gambler, I understand the odds of losing money and that is normal in gambling. The house has the advantage but you should not focus on that, you just have to enjoy playing and let your luck be in your favor.

Same here, I don't even think of making my own casino because my current financial status would not allow me to do it, I just gamble, hope to win big and then start my own business, probably not a casino.
3637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 23, 2021, 05:40:40 PM
I am a gambler, I'll only become a house if I have a lot of money to create my own casino or invest in a casino that I open for investment. Most of us are gamblers, we bet to win, but most of us will still lose money in the long run, so casinos or the house would really benefit in the long run.

In casino
The houses is: the kingpin, the broker, the banker, the loan provider

I think this doesn't exist in online gambling, maybe in a land-based casino it exists, but you can't take a loan without collateral.
3638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 23, 2021, 05:22:13 PM
Investing in low cap coins carries a high risk due to low capitalization some of which end in hype and in a very unfavorable situation for investors. Big investors choose top coin caps which are safer and provide better returns.

The OP's mistake here is not doing research first, why should the coin be purchased and used as an investment target.

Do not buy or invest on the advice of others without knowing the future of the coin. Doing research and then deciding to invest would be better. Don't bet money on coins that have no future. and don't put the ball in one basket.

Exactly, if we are just investing using the low cap as our main basis, then we are just blindly investing.

We have to be aware of the reality that anyone can easily create a project, get it listed and try to convince people about its future, and in fact the high number of altcoins in the market are scams, so without research (which is basic), we are just putting our money in big risk of losing.
3639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 23, 2021, 05:03:27 PM
Whenever you are not willing to comfortably discuss with your friends and family how much you spend on gambling or how much you think about gambling, you should consider it a sign of gambling addiction. If you finish a session feel bad about your lack of control at any point during that session, you should consider that another very strongsign.

This is an interesting thought, but it is unlikely to be 100% correct. Most people are reluctant to disclose their financial capabilities and discussing their spending (which may be negligible for them, but huge for the interlocutors) will be uncomfortable for reasons of privacy. And in general, this topic sounds strange - how often do you tell loved ones or just acquaintances about your spending on entertainment?

We don't, especially if it's not good to share or to be specific, especially if we are losing in gambling. We love to share stories of our success, that's what usually humans do and it's our nature because we have our ego, therefore, if we have a problem, it's hard for us to solve it since we like to keep it ourselves.
3640  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will Bitcoin go? on: July 22, 2021, 09:47:43 PM
Just recently, we already touch the level of $20k, so it's not impossible that in the next few days we would really dip at that price again. The price has bounced back a bit, but just like the previous movement, it will still go down because we are already in the bearish market.

We touched $29k, probably the lowest this year, so what price could be the next drop?
