I do find it funny that CPI seems to have more effect than other hardcore markers.
Probably it's because it has been magnified before and so up to know, every time there is a CPI news, everyone is glued to it and see what will it be this time. It's just unfortunate that the last one really put a dent more on crypto as compare to let's say stocks which has like 2% down, while crypto suffers 10% and up to know we are having a hard time trying to get to our previous round number support, which is $20k. Maybe its because we are in a bear market and so the argument that Bitcoin is hedge against inflation is a big question right now. But that's the thing, though. I don't think CPI is as magnified as the rate hikes (or never thought it was anyway) -- certainly the only time I see mainstream covering it is close to and right after the numbers -- whereas the rate hikes get a lot of chatter. So, leads me to think Crypto Twitter is the one fixated on CPI, and as you said, Bitcoin dropping more than stocks. Seems to suggest crypto speculators are still a lot more... abnormal than I'd thought.

While we are on fantasy topic you guys know I have a chat Sporsbet clubtalk on that topic? It is on today an hour before the games start, follwed immediately by Clubhouse TV. There will also be some free bets during the day on Sporsbet so drop by if you have the time.
I completely forgot about this yesterday, it usually is on my mind to check out Clubtalk/TV on EPL and UCL game nights but you know how it is, once you're rushing to clean up real life and settling in to watch the game, you can tend to forget everything else. Your chat's pretty good, anyone into Fantasy should tune in I've always said it, but Son is massively underrated. I'd love him at Liverpool, and I feel he does get overshadowed by Kane, despite myself personally finding Son the better player by quite a margin. I know we'll never get him, but he's a massive player for that Spurs team. Even when he isn't scoring, he does a bloody good job to be the engine in that team.
When he does move on from Spurs I'm not convinced they'll be able to replace him, at least easily.
Yeah, I recall talking about him in seasons past, but there seem to be people who really don't rate him at all, for some reason. Kane also gets the MVP tag (not for bad reasons) but Son's the complete package... work rate, never questionable, he's the last guy I blame if Spurs loses, effort is always there. Mentality too, Kane way too often looks jaded, distracted, down... Son is fire, hunger, never mind much more skillful. I think it's a crazy season (upon crazy seasons) of players being asked to play without break. So we've got so many classy players... Salah, Son just come to mind, who have not reached impossible standards set by themselves in the last seasons, that pundits are thinking "oh why are they starting the game?".

I see your multi tickets and consider them weak and uninspired If I wasn't in a hurry I would have brought this beauty of mine to over 1 BTC, as it stands just posting it here to rub it in when it all passes Sure it will, right. My man haha! Didn't see this earlier or I'd have joined you for a sorrow beer. Lazio singlehandedly must have made bookies high-five each other all night long. The surest leg there in yours (and I thought in mine) but we were put through the wringer early. there’s certainly something wrong with Nottingham, because they spent a lot on transfers yet match after match results have been poor only.
I'm not surprised. When have you ever replaced your entire team (while breaking EPL record for the most summer transfers) and got away with something? They actually play pretty good, but that's because there's a lot of talent there, but it's going to be at least halfway through the season before they understand each other, never mind take the coach's training. There's also a guy from SB's ex-gf in that team, btw, who's not shone yet -- Dennis.

Hey Betnomi pool guys. Just want to share my good fortune, but one I didn't take full advantage of. You know, so those of you disappointed can get distracted by non-pool me Over 2 weeks ago, didn't like how Bayern was looking, and put a very early bet on Augsburg. 11/1. Couple of days ago, still didn't like them despite winning against a better team in UCL, bet half of the original stake again at 14/1. What's strange is I was the only one betting this market (pretty rare for me to see that) on Fairlay. Only problem? I bet pretty small. Still, happy. Go Freiburg and Union Berlin!

Ah, no good for me this round. First two games already couldn't get anything, Villa if you picked Ramsey good for you, but show me one guy who picked any of the 5 scorers for NF/Fulham and I'll show you a genius... haha.
Only Haaland saved me from exiting early right now but I'll be without luck too as Newcastle can't seem to score. Isak's just so isolated but the wing is impressive.

If anything, all of that has already happened from about two years ago. I do not make it a habit to use exchanges here, still faster and better rates p2p but I do, for occassional convenience use an EU exchange.
Proof of funds, proof of income, source of funds, all done and dusted. They have not, apart from the seemingly annual requests for the above, asked for reason of exchange for each tx (which remittance and bank tranfers have asked for decades).
And if it gets to that, majority of people will comply. No big feal here.

^Same here, glad I went with Villa in the end, and the Fulham win, though not good enough not to get exact scores like quite a few of the pool players. Position unchanged at the bottom, I'm ready to see City lose to Wolves though in the early game starting soon! Over 95/10, smacks of disappointment but hey, maybe Haaland gets an off day (yeah, right). Quite content that our (LFC) game against Chelsea is not going ahead due to the Queen’s funeral. We are still feeling our way into the season, players coming back from injury. Klopp could do with more time on the training pitch with the boys. Same here, Robbo's my biggest concern, I like Tsimi but he's more reliable. Should be ready, and Thiago + Matip + Hendo all possibly fully fit and back would give me a better outlook. Might even get lucky with Konate?

I do agree that it appears to be more difficult to buy bitcoin with regulations, identification and licensing most notably, but those are generally hoops that retail people would be more than willing to jump through and are already used to jumping through. Think about it, even signing up for most social apps and games need all kinds of identification procedures, so people have shown they're willing.
And in that sense, it makes it easier for them. Even just 7 years ago, to get Bitcoin was a confusing, murky process for most people, P2P? What?
Not you plug into PayPal, or some exchange, or some bank, and get it (not getting into arguments here about self custody or if they're even actually getting Bitcoin and not derivatives as it doesn't matter to most).
To buy Bitcoin on chain to your own wallet without going through any of those hoops might get harder... but those of us who want it this way will find the routes.

I do find it funny that CPI seems to have more effect than other hardcore markers. Take the rate hikes, for instance. They've not only been higher than expected in the last couple of announcements (and the coming one should at least be 0.75, which is higher than anything they'd predicted months ago)... but these haven't had the same effect as CPI.
Makes me wonder what kind of Bitcoin speculators are heavy in the market now.
But enough with this Bitcoin hedge against fiat inflation, why aren't we over it? heh

^ Nice one, Trofo. Let it now be said that when I win 60 mbtc, I will immediately make payment for next season's pool and sponsor 2 spots. Also, since I'm fantasising, Lazio will shock everyone and win one trophy this season.
Back to business. Need Torino to do their job tonight so my final big tickets can help me recover from European massacres all over the place, in every competition haha...

No need to look at banks, look at so-called crypto exchanges that impose all kinds of nonsense now. Calling themselves financial freedom protagonists and sovereign money liberators, and yet blocking certain people and countries at the beck and call of the very regulators they swore to break free from.
Oh and in case anyone needs a reminder of how Bitcoin really is different from the rest of crypto, ask MetaMask would-be users from Venezuela or Iran how they're getting along.

16 goals in the first half from 8 games, this is the league to watch hahaha.
A lot of goals in first round of games but second round is up there too with a lot of goals so far and still 20 minutes to go so yea....it seems all the goals from all the other competitions are happening in Conference . Too bad FCSB is still 0-0 with Anderlercht but still have a pretty good chance to score as they are playing much better and a goal should be well deserved for FCSB Yeah, who says farmer league's not entertaining eh? Only problem is actually finding the streams to watch, and of course ignoring Europa league ties, but I can imagine a lot of people finding something extra to watch and support, no one's complaining anymore (or at least not as loud). This is the goal I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/WKySZt4j0sY?t=280This is the night for Turkish teams really as Sivasspor also defeated Cluj 1-0. Actually Cluj found so many opportunities to score but had an unlucky day. Good watch for you then, and yeah, I think there's a lot of entertainment value now -- problem for me is I still think of teams like Cluj and RS Belgrade as seeded favourites, and then seeing them lose the way they do, bad for my betting. Also, me picking Israeli teams not a good strat...

Lazio 1 - 5 Midtjylland, one of the worst results and I doubt most people expected to see them losing, yet to see them destroyed literally..
I dont know what happen to Lazio in todays match they lost to Midtylland unexpectedly and even got destroy probobly one of the worst results in their europe history. Happy for Ronaldo for scoring his goal after a while i hope he goes back into form after this goal Yeah, I feel really idiotic when I back a team like that at the odds I thought were fair value, and then they get that kind of hiding. I even got Lazio on a long ticket this weekend, so they better bounce back... sc freiburg has not only made a great start in the bundesliga (with 13 points from 6 games - 2nd place in the table), but is also impressing in the europa league with very good performances and results. in yesterday's away game at olympiacos they were superior over the whole duration of the game and are also in their group g without loss of points on the 1st place with 6 points
Wonder if it has anything to do with them playing at a new stadium (almost like Spurs taking it to new levels after leaving their traditional home) and (correct me if wrong) them having no one really hating them much, wholesome team, wholesome coach, and exciting underrated guys like Ritsu Doan (this guy a good bet to take Japan far). Streich's really getting the best out of his players, and the team helping me make my accas work, I'm happy.

Anyone else as pumped about tonight's games? UCL was a nice distraction, but I didn't really catch good games (Liverpool did play better against Ajax but I don't really know if I enjoy seeing my team try 24 shots and still need a last gasp winner from a CB!). I didn't learn from my persistence with Villa at the tail end of last season and keep dropping points counting on them for a few minor upsets but they're actually the favs tonight, so I'm now wondering if I should back Saints away. NF and Fulham are also a draw favourite but I also am rooting for Mitrovic in my FPL. They get sorted out once the new dates are announced and available, and the added advantage is that the picks you've made gets carried over to that new fixture , so you don't have to be worried about missing out,and even if you initially locked the pick, you get a chance to change it.
Sweet, thanks. That's a bit of a reassurance considering I'm away travelling, and who knows when they actually get made. Although, I do believe it's usually at the tail end of the season, even then though I'm not the best at remembering to put these predictions in. Not doing so bad this time around though. I didn't pay enough attention last season, since I practically gave up within the first couple of weeks after forgetting to put my predictions in. Yeah I remember last season seeing rescheduled games and my old scores. If I recall correctly, I kept most of them and it worked out well in the end, if only to catch a prize spot. This has to be my worst season so far, so I now understand this feeling of giving up after just a few games, but I intend to at least keep trying. Those yellow caps alone are motivation.

I actually managed to wrangle 14.50 (courtesy daily football boost at Sportsbet) so of course when Bellingham scored, I booked a live bet on City @3.5 (also a live boost in Sportsbet) as my typical hedge in these kinds of games.
It's a really good catch! I wouldn't be this much brave to place a bet on Manchester City live after seeing them desperate to score for a long time period. === Neither Juventus nor Chelsea are credible absolutely. E Yeah, it's just a typical type of bet for me, it's actually not even brave as I already had, as explained a ticket riding on BVB for over 14/1. "Sacrificing" part of that to lay a bet on City at over 3/1 was just a beautiful hedge. Of course, the smarter bet was DNB or Double Chance, but I do tend to put myself in loss-loss situations over draws! Don't trust Old Lady and Chelski for the rest of the season. There's a huge amount of psychology at play here now and too many individuals to fix. Can't be done with WC coming up.

No need to discuss much my position in the pool as well, especially when I'm 3rd from bottom in EPL (I still refuse to think I'm that bad in a league I follow the majority of my time). But as a wise player above says, when you're bottom, nowhere to go but up. I do wish I had more balls to support Benfica again, they play really attractive football while Juve seem to be confused about their identities. Same as BVB... team that can't defend trying to defend a lead against Manchesteamroller City. They were generally outplaying City until they decided to stop trying to score. Oh and on big spenders since it's a hot topic here. Hard to blame anyone anymore these days but I feel like we're not doing Chelski and Abramovich justice if we're blaming Real/Barca/PSG (and hey don't forget Monaco). Who cares about fines anyway? City laughed and paid their settlement. Big banks actually budget for fines (meaning they knowingly commit financial violations because it's profitable). I detest all this nonsense, but also enjoy football and live in the real world and enjoy seeing all the giants with money losing. But for a lighthearted attempt to find the root of all problems? Read this little nugget so we can blame Middlesborough for everything.

^ Well, betting away on teams above 25/10 odds would work for anyone so far with the first round of games, most notably Dnipro who were at least 4/1 to win, as well as Basel and Sivasspor also 4/1 min, even handicaps on Molde above 2/1 would have gotten great value.
16 goals in the first half from 8 games, this is the league to watch hahaha.

Eh, Lazio's about to make sure my ambitious acca dies on the very first leg, need to score 4 in about 40 minutes, not that I don't think they cannot (who am I kidding), they're just probably going to make it worse now. United got a scruffy goal and Penaldo made it 2 as well, so all is well with the team, except a small matter of Sancho not making it to Nations League, ouch.

Speaking of driver rumours, me hearing Mick's run out of favour... Hm.. and what's going to happen with the Sauber team (currently Alfa Romeo) in 2024 and 2025 until Audi takes it over?!
No idea, the news item I read didn't mention anything about that. As I said, I actually don't even know if any of those things really impact the sport itself. Branding seems almost irrelevant these days in terms of results. I think that's more than power units there, it may be full brand, like Alpine/Renault is, handling both chassis and power unit. What I find very interesting is the double branding / competition between sister companies: around 2026 also Porsche will come into F1 (taking over RBR?), but... both Porsche and Audi are sisters under Volkswagen Group It doesn't help people like me understand the politics or the effects either. Seems to my untrained eye that in the end it will just be a few giants in the end, like it isn't already. It'll be like a Poker tournament where ll the players are just sponsored by a few companies, or a few big names backing many hands at the same table.
