good. also u were rigth to create a self-moderating thread. for example pascalcoin dev didn't do it and spammers are free to act there. but saving this thread caused manipulations with the trust system. anyway, such negative activity is a good sign to the project: when something is moving forward it's natural to expect friction. |

This is a known issue from virustotal, I quote below the message from dfox101, I will do a compilation from source, and verify what dfox said. I saw some people express their concerns about the windows client and total virus check results, I did a fresh compilation of the DeepOnion windows client, and the total virus shows a perfect clean result: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/ede627a45eeb5da1968c108d351a1577cd74203e8baffcefe2ba10709aba941c/analysis/1501524847/I uploaded the client here: https://mega.nz/#!U8hRkDbJ!7SQKmAZ9T7ggumzKQBQK4CD5zLZxH_oYoYicgNjFWHYThere's a problem with TotalVirus, that many other coins noticed and there are discussions in their corresponding threads, such as Zclassic, Zcoin, to name a few, that a wallet client, initially tested perfect clean, in 2 weeks, will show some issues if you retest. This is a problem of the total-virus, and all the "issues" are false positives. This problem is not to DeepOnion alone, but to almost all altcoin wallets, as witnessed by many discussions in different threads. The deeponion wallet is perfectly clean, as shown by the report above. If you have concerns, just compile yourself from the source, and test yourself. This is a very simple thing to do, and it is the right way to do instead of a few people irresponsibly spread false rumours (these people, of course, have other purpose in mind). dfox101's description is exactly true. It is virustotal problem, not DeepOnion problem. DeepOnion is clean.as it turned out, yes. but asking once again never hurts. well done. |

China users should use free or paid VPN service which can connect Tor network. If they can connect Tor over allowing VPN they are good to go.
Is he using the nodes given by Dev in OP  If not ask him to add those nodes & I believe that should fix the sync problem. thanks, i'll post it in that thread. |

I guess they should be false positives. I tested the Qt client with two antivirus software, AVG and Windows Defender. Both of them didn't detect any issue on the qt. there are no problems with that. imho dev should use some installer in the future releases to avoid unnecessary user actions (such as editing conf file). |

Since exchange is approaching approval, its know that users can't dump >10%. Has there been any official statement what the dev will do with his 10% premined/what percentage of 10% he'll be selling off? This will honestly determine the value and health of this coin. Transparency will be key once markets are open.
