3621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen If Bitcoin got stabled ? on: September 26, 2022, 11:51:28 PM
If Bitcoin got stable there will be no huge inflection. This will stable almost all coins. And there will be no huge up and down. All the top coins will not depend on Bitcoin.
Whenever Bitcoin got stabled, All the market will be stable in a result of that.
Question is that how Bitcoin can be stable?  If it got stabled that will happen?

Unfortunately, Bitcoin is designed to be not stable, I mean in the beginning it was a mode of payment. But when it started to have a price and then traded publicly 24x7, the price becomes so unstable and volatile that it makes trader money our lost because of it's nature.

So as much as we wanted to follow your arguments hypothetically, it's not going to happen, so it's very flawed in the beginning. And that is what stable coins have been created like Tether, because they know that traders are looking for something to 'stabilized' their money against the volatility of Bitcoin.
3622  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 1D Trendline, 18th Oct is Final Date on: September 26, 2022, 11:11:45 PM
What I can see now is Bitcoin now seems to create resistance on the $20,000 level after we dropped on that earlier.
Before $20,000 is strong support but after it brokes, we saw a hard time for Bitcoin to regain it.

I agree, before everyone is shouting that $20k is our biggest support. And at some point, it's true as it holds from further going down. And when it went below that price, we will regain in back in just 24 hours.

But now, it's very different, we keep on sliding on that support line that it became the resistance. If we won't able to break that, then we might see a slide again as what the OP indicated.

Trending from OP's chart seems to make sense here now as we saw how Bitcoin reacts especially on the resistance levels by these trendlines, I am waiting for Bitcoin to test again the $20,000 before the month will end.

I don't what to sound negative, but we might not test $20k at the end of the month. We could be around $18k-$19k, way below our previous all time high of 2017.
3623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 26, 2022, 10:47:58 PM
^ He might be a slight underdog, but for me it's better if he will be a huge underdog here, so that it's a win-win situation for Ancajas supporters in terms of bet  Grin.

And maybe if he knows that he become the underdog here, it could added a extra motivation for him, some fuel to the fire and think that he really have to show up and be the champion again. A knock out win will be good. But if it doesn't come, and at the end of the fight he is declared the winner then nothing is going to affect on how we look at it. But it shouldn't be a boring fight (although Filipinos are not known to run, we are all warriors), and then we will see what will his next move is.

Agree with. It's good to place a bet on something that we really like to and the odds for it are worth placing a bet on.

Besides, regardless of the odds or how strong Martinez is compared to Ancajas, there's no way I will bet for the former for an obvious reason. But honestly, even though I'm looking forward to Ancajas winning this match, I still see Martinez still has the upper hand in this fight.

That's why on the day of the match, I want Ancajas to go all-out and reclaim the title that he defend several times in his career.

Both will have pressures on their shoulders in this rematch. Ancajas is the former champion and he held this belt for many years, until Martinez took it away from him. But it doesn't mean that Ancajas is not the best boxer, he had his problem in his weight but it looks like his team put together a good plan to not have the same problem in the rematch.

And so we will throw our full support on Ancajas. It's not that Martinez is not good, but we think that it was just a fluke win and Jerwin should have won the first fight in there is no problem on his side. (I might be biased here, hehehe).
3624  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: September 26, 2022, 10:31:37 PM
Ok, the OP is asking for alternatives,

I know Dlive could be good, and then based on the feedback by other users:

Odysee - https://odysee.com/
Theta.tv - https://www.theta.tv/
Streamcoin

Any one wanted to add any stream sites that they know that possible some Twitch gamblers might move because of the ban?

3626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 26, 2022, 09:59:36 PM
We are in 21st-century bro, no one cares about you as long as you do your work right and don't allow four gambling activities to affect your job. I don't think there is any we're in your terms and conditions in your employment letter where it is stated that you can not partake in such activities and if that be the case you will have to face a panel if you are discovered to be a gambler.

Yes, this is what I'm also thinking, I met a teacher through my sister in law, she is not a gambler per se, but I will regularly see her in casinos, drinking and she is a lesbian. She will be sometimes at my sister in law's house having drinks. And since she is known to be a teacher in our place, there were some parents who is very concern because they don't want their child to see their teacher like having fun and drinking. But this is where the world we live in right now. Everything has changed, the old and traditional is replace by new beliefs and challenging the status quo in our society, we are very open now and I think majority is very open-minded. And so there's no need to explain to others about your relationship, or even what do you after office or school hours.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 26, 2022, 09:41:26 PM
or maybe the contract is already signed and they just announce it and surprise all of us.
I doubt with this, actually a big fight will always announced in very beginning to attract many people watch the fights, if they're announce it when the fight are vert close, they can't make good sum of money. This is boxing where the boxer only looking for a title or record, but there's few boxer only looking for money.

But it's good if the fight will be happen since I've heard either one of them want to move to next weight and that's make one or both of them actually prevent to fight each other lol.

That should be the case, they sign a contract announce the fight, fighters train hard, promoters meet with the media to discuss the fight, then boxers do media conferences or make tours to attract and hype the fight this is where thrash talks happen, but we're not seeing these things in their match if there's really a match, no problem with the hype because even if they do not engage in thrash talks people will still buy tickets and subscribe to PPV, this fight is many years in the making and no one in the boxing community will miss this.

by the way, stake's odds is out for this match. so this is indeed happening!

i was thinking, errol will be the slightly favourite here over crawford as he has more belts but hey, this one may change a lil bit once the fight is getting near. so place your bets as early as you can while the odds are good. this fight will sell good and both fighters will earn good amount of money. the purse split may be in favour of spence here though.

Yeah, been monitoring that odds. But I'm not surprised that Crawford will be the favorite as we have been speculating that he will, even if Spence had the 3 belts.

And I think Spence knows this, that's why he is acting like the A-side in this fight because of the belts. But nevertheless gambling public and boxing analyst see Crawford as the favorite because he is the complete fighter, has the better IQ, never had in any trouble in his fights, has a better chin, punching power, I would say even, but slight to Crawford for me.
3628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 26, 2022, 09:25:55 PM
I am starting to have this crazy interest in crypto gambling projects like online casinos and stuff but I want to ask, this utility have been around for years but is there any old project that live this long and still functions?

Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.

You can check,

1. https://primedice.com/
2. https://stake.com/ - The one in my signature

They have been in crypto space for many years and the one who started the trend and still up to now they are still around even though there are a lot of competitions in the last 8 years or so.

One thing that kills gambling projects is obviously if they don't have players to begin with, and those who don't processed withdrawals and then who are blatantly scamming gamblers. Others could have been dead because they weren't able to maintain good security, been hack and drain everything.
3629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK on: September 26, 2022, 09:09:09 PM
And Fury may just want to keep this fight alive,

Quote
“We offered them the December 17 date in Saudi Arabia for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world and everybody wanted that date. Usyk said he was injured and isn’t ready until next year," Fury said.

“And now he’s saying I’m scared of him. The little sh!thouse middleweight. I’ll put my fist right through his face.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/fury-usyk-said-he-ready-now-he-says-im-scared-hes-sh-thouse--169300

He call Usyk middleweight, lol, in any case, Fury is looking for either a Joshua or Usyk fight this December. He had a schedule already in December, but it seems he doesn't have a dance partner. When we thought that the Joshua fight is lock-in, there are still things need to be settled. And so he calls Usyk again, I don't think he is injured or what, he just want to take a break after winning against Joshua.
3630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 26, 2022, 01:21:05 PM
Well, it's not new anymore that people wanted some spices before the actual fight to somehow make the fight more interesting. I know Zurdo is one of a kind but he needs to prove himself first against Bivol before starts boasting and saying lines like that.

If that is what he believes, then we just have to let it that way. Zurdo might be boasting but actually, he won't have the guts to say things like that if he's not sure about it. Might be because of his perfect record, he thinks achieving it is really difficult although he's correct on that regardless of the level of popularity of those he fought before.

Against Bivol, this might be the biggest fight of his career that's why he is pumped up. Let's wait if his talks is not just about talk.

Yes, it's more of a mental aspects for some boxers, they really have to tell it to the outside world to show that they are very confident against anyone, in this case Ramirez vs Bivol. But when the bell rings, everything is 0-0, no more trash talking, you really need to proved that you say before the fight. And if you can't back it up and Bivol dominates him, then it's obvious that he is just pure talk. And maybe there are some boxers, who are not so brandish but they run the show inside the ring.
3631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 26, 2022, 01:06:01 PM
The team that I am most excited to see is the Memphis Grizzlies. They are so silent this off-season. I am excited what their young players can bring this new season. They are not at their peaks last season. Now they are more experienced.
That's a strong team too. Their advantage is the chemistry they have with their young players.
My memory is still fresh of when they played against the Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs. Battle of speed for both young teams is composed of agile players.
One of the best matchups that I have seen, their games are always close with a high score ending like a battle of offense.
Grizzlies will be scarier when they play against a team who relies on a center because you cannot leave Jaren Jackson Jr. outside or he will shoot it with high accuracy.
One of my top five when it comes to team rankings in the West.

They definitely have a shot this season, if only Morant wasn't injured last playoffs, I think they have a really huge chance of winning the championship. Of all the teams that played against the Warriors, I only see Memphis giving him enough trouble, looks like they really know the Warriors.

with that said, I think betting on the NBA future is good with this Memphis team.

It will be different story to tell if Morant didn't get injured last season but its like Memphis is having a bad luck on that season so maybe they should try their best to come up on their mistake so that they can get a second shot around since if Morant fail to deliver what he say for last couple of months against GSW maybe some of his fans will just treat him as total non sense and just a noisy one.

Lots of questions about that series though, but in any case, I think the Warriors are going to move on and defeat Ja Morant and the Grizzlies. They have the experience and that is enough but the Grizzlies will push them. So we will see if they will meet in the playoffs around. Maybe this time it will be close and it could be a different story if Morant is healthy. And there have been a lot of noise in the social media that they are not being seen as rivals with how they match on last year series.
3632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 26, 2022, 12:08:21 PM
We have been speculating that if Loma wins this fight, and Haney wins the same, it will be both of them fighting next. But recent news surfaces that this might not be the case, as Haney could move to 140 lbs.

And with Top Rank has the luxury at their stables this 135 lbs champion, then I reckon that we might see Shakur stepping in to fight Loma next. That's going to be crazy as he will have the first crack to become a unified champion in a new weight class but it won't be that easy because it's going to be Loma. So let's see how it goes, this is just speculation though.

Floyd won another exhibition match in Japan,

Sometimes I ask myself, could this be possible if Japan mafia uses such fight for money laundering. I mean it is obvious that Floyd would win and his opponent is a complete mismatch. Paying such huge rewards for few minutes sparring? I bet Floyd did not even train for that fight.

Good question, and it makes me wonder as well where are they going the money from?

https://www.fightsports.tv/rizin-president-accused-of-ties-to-japanese-organized-crime/

Quote
Accusations have once again hindered head of RIZIN, Nobuyuki Sakakibara.

The official reason is unclear, but Karaev Paul reported that Sakakibara mentioned tabloids from May – that has accused him of being linked to organized crime – as a possible reason for losing the deal.

This accusations have been mostly in the media, but so far no evidences have surfaced. But then again, it's boils down to the question, that there could be ties but it's hard to proved.

Floyd is getting $20-$30 million per fight deal with Rizin.

3635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why have so many platforms delisted Polygon tokens? on: September 25, 2022, 11:01:52 PM
Binance for once has been delisting/listing Polygon for the last couple of months.

https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/ffa74b47e870477a80deacee1fcab727

And probably the same reasons as others, there is a network issues so they have to delist them temporarily.

Perhaps they are also doing some schedule maintenance and upgrades, the usual for any projects. And in any case, there will be a announcement if ever there is a permanent delisting by exchanges to give time for users to withdraw or move their funds around.
3636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 25, 2022, 10:26:25 PM
I’m looking forward to seeing how Ben Simmons fits in with Kyrie and KD.

Everyone is so excited about Simmons, Kyrie and KD.
Last season I expected Ben Simmons to play, but he didn't play in any games.
Let's see how it will be this season for the Brooklyn Nets.  I hope they will be champions this year.

Everyone is looking forward for this 3 to play, remember that there have been a lot of personal issues in them. KD wanted out, Kyrie's so-so performance and his non vaccine stance causing him to missed a lot of games, Simmons coming from the brutal divorce from Sixers.

And so there is speculation that they might not click, but we can only judge them once they played together healthy this season.

Also, Kahwi has started training and his form is very good, and I am very hopeful of him this year.

I think he has been training for months now, or at least when his doctor says that he can go back at it. Just now that we have seen some videos and picture of his, specially on how he developed his quads, to make it stronger and to help him prevent another series lower leg injuries.
3637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 25, 2022, 09:59:05 PM
Card counting in online casinos have been eliminated, it's because the deck of every card is shuffle. Meaning at any given time, it's just one deck of cards and after that, a new one is introduced and then shuffle again.

Unlike in landbase casinos wherein there is 8, 10, or 12 shoes of card. And so card counters can do their thing because the card is continuous or in succession. The question is why it is not implemented if they can eliminate card counters or readers? It might be tedious though for the dealer and the casino itself in the long run because the profit will be lessen if the dealer is going to shuffle every round. So just imagine the money that they are going to lose every hour. But in online, it's just easy for the developers to create this logic and include it in the program.
3638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: September 25, 2022, 09:44:50 PM
Thanks to everyone again who keep this thread a live with their insights and predictions. And mostly everyone got it right based on the poll.

And it was a good homecoming fight for Shakur, he didn't win by knockout by it was a dominating fight.

And to summarized, he won thru the judges scorecard  The official scores were 118-108, 117-109 and 117-109. He wasn't able to make the weight limit though, so he was stripped of his WBC/WBO belt. And he will be moving up in weight in his next fight, So he will at 135 lbs, and this division is pretty stock up.

3640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 25, 2022, 08:59:07 PM
Coming from 2 big losses, yes Joshua's days are numbered, just one more fight that we have been demanded before, even prior to Fury making a comeback, and that is the fight between Wilder and Joshua. And if this fight is going to be made, and if by chance Joshua won, then maybe he can still fight and cash in.

Why his days will be numbered? He can always fight second rate fighters. Joshua has a big name in boxing, a lot of boxers will want to face him. Of course his rewards wont be as huge as they are now, but still. He will only loose popularity. Like Bronze Bomber aka Wilder. In 3 weeks he is having a fight against Robert Helenius and nobody on this forum gives much care about it Cheesy

I quite agree that Joshua's days at the top are done. The losses and even the emotional breakdown right after the fight are a big sign that his career is now facing its end. Of course, he could continue fighting second-rate fighters. But the truth is that he's not anymore an elite fighter. But, yes, a lot of fighters would still want to face him and it's because he'd serve as a great stepping stone and he'd also be giving his opponent a bigger paycheck.

Yes and it maybe true that the media or Eddie Hearn build Fury and his career and everyone buys on that idea. But know that he is obviously exposed as not in the level of elite fighters and his mentally has change his he tastes his first defeat against the hands of Andy Ruiz, his aura of invincibility has been shattered.

Not sure though if he be a stepping stone because I haven't seen any young Heavyweight boxers coming up in ranks. But he will be just a second rate boxers, Usyk has taken his soul already.
