3641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: April 13, 2017, 10:24:45 AM
15  of july
bitcoin will have 3000 dollars at least

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

why you make the order at late of juny

why we must paid for something that will be delivered after 3 months

these is unfair

they must mine with those before they can sell to you lol, this business is shit you can't never roi, because they don't sell a product that can roi in two month, it doesn't make sense for them, too bad it was a very good deal but i prefer the baikal miner, the consumption is far less than this miner, and it's better for long terms
3642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| |SPEEDCASH| |X13| Fast, Private, Secure, Untraceable and Decentralized on: April 12, 2017, 04:33:55 PM
Some farmer jumped in on minning. 62Ghash

nethash is 3GH what you are talking about? it's very minable with low performance asic for x11-x13 like baikal miner

What is the problem with my wallet ? it's not scyn but it still has got 3 connections. Dev should try to find this problem and resolve it now.
it's very important. Thank you.

restart the client, or addnode with the config file in roaming folder, you can check what node there are with getpeerinfo on the console of the client, i hope this help
3643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play online street fight game for bitcoins ? on: April 12, 2017, 04:31:08 PM
i think this is a great idea, i like skillful game more than gambling game, they offer the possibility to shine and earn a lot, if you can make this, i would be interested, maybe with king of fighters? it was my favorite
fighting game

I also think this would be too prone to abuse.

why? you can't make bot for this, would be fair and legit if the owner is serious and do not cheat with the game
3644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: April 12, 2017, 04:26:33 PM
Most of the POS coins are decreasing in value since the people holding the coins are trying to dump the rewards for more Bitcoins.

yes ,, you're right, but when some cryptocurrency start with pow then become pos, it will increase the value in short periode time,,

For the OP just buy some PIVX or Cloak,,
in my opinion, Both are good for long term investment

pure pos coins are pump and dump, not very different than ico coin, both are shitcoin, because it doesn't make sense with pos coin to buy when you can earn pos for free an dump easy, and CLOAK and PIVX are both 100% pos now, the only way a pos can survive is with a very low interest rate, like 5-10% per year
3645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Segwit for LTC really necessary? Why? on: April 12, 2017, 04:24:29 PM
Just calm down roger shill pls, don`t get heart attack

segwit is heavy tested at bitcoin test net for a looooooong period already, if you have any proff it gona go down, why don`t you post your finding

market support is there and can`t be faked, only ignorant ppl live in fear of new tech!

A network split happened a few weeks ago on the segwit testnet because non segwit nodes couldn't process allegedly soft fork segwit blocks. This is public information on the bitcoin dev mailing list, and you tell me it's heavy tested, LOL

Do you call who can sybil more non mining nodes support of the market? By sober unbiased estimates not coming from Blockstream minions like yourself, the market is divided evenly between Core/Segwit and onchain scaling solutions (BU, Classic, whatever with big blocks but not segwit).

Fear of the new tech, LOL. Bitcoin is old tech by crypto standards, a dinosaur walking to extinction. There are many coins today with superior tech. You should come from under your rock sometimes.

There are chain splits because people still insist on using 0.12.x on the testnet and they're not connected to a relay node. Once SegWit is active, miners have to use clients that are SegWit aware...

You have described a hard fork.
Segwit is a hard fork in disguise.

he is wrong, miners are already using segwit, everyone who run 0.14 version is using it, just segwit is not activated yet because of the consensus which is needed, and this make segwit a soft fork not an hard fork
3646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin miners have collectively earned more than $2 billion on: April 12, 2017, 04:22:49 PM
I suppose this is calculated by taking the dollar value of block rewards, at the time when the blocks are mined.
Otherwise, the money earned by miners would be equal to the market capitalization of Bitcoin.
And this would exclude the transaction fees.....

can't be equal to the capitalization, because miners need to sell when they mine, to cover their electricity rate, when they mined with the 50 block reward they were selling already their bitcoin, and bitcoin was very cheap at that point, the same when they were selling with the 25 block reward
3647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Portfolio on: April 12, 2017, 02:13:02 PM
What do you think about PIVX, the price looks steady although it has been pumped from the floor, it has good daily trading volume.

i think the pump is over there, better to focus on the next big pump, which is lbry in my opinion

Bitcoin price rallying and Altcoins are holding steady. I was tempted to sell at the pump but i'm holding for X10 in my portfolio and waiting for the major pump. Hold tight everyone. my current portfolio is 34 bitcoins.

your holding is maing the pump stronger, i'm also holding  few, i think we have great days of crypto ahead of us

XMR - I am really expecting this coin to reach back to 0.02 easily.
GNT - Maybe 10k short term tp?
STEEM - In the last few days this coin is easily 15k to 18k. Now it seems it went lower than I expected.
ETH - Easy 0.04 in few days.

XMR is a really strong coin i'm expecting that will climb the peak to 0.1 in some months/1 year, GNT i don't know what it is, steem was hacked when the value was at 600 k satoshi, there is no way this coin can recover anymore, the dump destroyed it, and eth is strong enough to hold that position until pos kick in at least, looking forward for it
3648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Promising altcoins with extremely low market caps? on: April 12, 2017, 02:05:36 PM
spreadcoin is one of these coins, lbry is another one, both are really undervalued, on lbry there is currently a pump going on, maybe you can catch the train if you jump now, for spreadcoin they ae planning a swap with another coin that is not yet released, i don't know any other small coin with greater potential for now
3649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to make altcoin ? on: April 12, 2017, 02:03:21 PM
I was still in deep blind on the system like this guys . Do altcoin this to buy or in a mine . I was still in deep confused . First thing to i learned in where to begin ?

better to make them to be mined and not be bought like ico and scam like that, pow ensure that your coins will have a good value in the future, and attract investors, because remember that miners are also investors, it's a win win situation, instead ico are only good to kill your coin very fast and leave the other people to do bagholder
3650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to maintain consensus without the use of inflation? on: April 12, 2017, 10:23:21 AM
why you see that fee are not enough to pay for the pow network? fee is the final point of any pow network that don't have infinite supply like doge, doge could int heory get rid of fee, if they did not already, other standard coins need high fee, which can be made higher if the coins become big among the comunity, and accepted everywhere, and the only good example is bitcoin.
Bitcoin, even though I think it collects the most fees out of any blockchain, could not rely on only transaction fees at this point. The past year, it only collected about $241,289 worth of transaction fees. That isn't even enough to cover a months worth of an electricity bill at some of the mega farms.

The only PoW coins that have ended their inflationary period and relied only on transaction fees were either attacked or had to switch to merge/aux mining. Quarkcoin and Dogecoin come to mind. I am not sure if there are others TBH.

And no, Doge cannot get rid of transaction fees... they are necessary to prevent spam and to provide incentive for people to merge mine it.

there were some deflationary coins in the past but they didn't work good, because the first investors had more coins that the one that come late, and they dump everything on the new investors, same for miners, i don't like the first come first serve idea behind deflationary coins
Meh... provide some examples. I am not aware of any deflationary coins that have failed.

Also, the reason that you stated why they failed... many PoW cryptocurrencies have failed on the same premises. That is not a PoS or deflationary coin only problem, as PoW can suffer from the same scenario. There are many pump and dump PoW coins. I think you are missing an important part to my proposed formula for a good deflationary cryptocurrency. It has to provide utility, a service or a feature which creates demand. If the token value will imminently grow because of supply and demand created by utility, then it provides good incentive not to dump.

wasn't lbry a deflazionary coin? the block reward was going to icrease over time not decrease, making the vlue much higher at the beginning, then they dumped because the block reward increase too much and buyers were not able to counter the miners pressure
3651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some more good news about Litecoin. on: April 12, 2017, 10:17:14 AM
If it drops below 75% after it's reached it, does the activation period stop until it gets back over 75%?

i think someone changed his mind on the last minute and remove his signaling for litecoin, it make much more sense, then thinking that there was a random return below 75%

The activation period consists of 8064 blocks. On Litecoin this takes 14 days on average. During the current activation period that is running for 11 days or so has 66% of blocks signaling for SegWit.

During the last 24h (576 blocks) 73% blocks have signaled. The number is growing because the last pool to join in did so less than 24h ago.

Hope this clears things up.

wasn't 76.8% why only 73%, if i understood you correctly we need to wait for the block time to have the last activation percentage?
3652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BW starts signaling for segwit - litecoin price jumps on: April 12, 2017, 10:15:30 AM
price didn't jump is the same as before, which was below 0.01, where you see the pump? i think that litecoin is not offering enough to be considered a contender for litecoin or dash, yes segwit ok, but segwit it's not even useful for litecoin, litecoin don't have problem with scaling, litecoin should offer better features like other top currency to not be only a pump and dump
3653  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 11, 2017, 04:37:59 PM
I know how they try to make money. They milk as much money as possible from their customers by introducing not-really necessary services and life insurance. They try to attract you with their promos. I just opened my account last week.  To be safe, I only open an account on top banks renowned worldwide.

bank are worse than those scammers that make altcoin each day in altcoin section, at least those have these new altcoin that propose something which can be good or bad, but bank just scam you money and you don't even know that they are scamming you, on crypto you are perfectly aware of your money, i think this is why many people are choosing crypto over bank
3654  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think They’ll Use the US Dollar on Mars? on: April 11, 2017, 04:35:54 PM
it depend what country there will be there, for now russia and USA have the strongest technology to travel, if both colonize mars they would use their respectively currency, and not only usa dollars, but this will be done with electronic payment only, i can't see them using cash on another planet, it's better to comunicate with something digital, and bitcoin i think would also be good here to use
3655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now. on: April 11, 2017, 04:28:17 PM
I used to buy a coffee from time to time with bitcoin.
But I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now, because the fee is so high, if I keep 0.0001 fee like before, it would take days for the transaction to get confirmed, I've got a transaction which took 11 days to get the 1st confirmation last month.
It's not cost-effective any more to buy (I mean both online and buying face to face) thing via bitcoin. And this is why I quit buy coffee with bitcoin.

can't you pay offchain your coffe, they don't accept this kind of service? a coffe isn't worth much i think they could accept it off-chain with zero confirmation, if no solution is present i find that we need other good altcoin, for this kind of small payment, altcoin that have only the usage for this small transaction, and have not the problem of the block limit, because they need to handle few transaction per day
3656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give 1 attribute that current cryptocurrencies lack until now? on: April 11, 2017, 04:21:37 PM
Guys suggest 1 most important attribute that cryptos still lacking until now?

the possibility to have all these coins used instead of dumped for bitcoin, all these coins are useless are only there for pump and dump and scam investors, maybe there should be a way to make them useful to purchase something? monero did this right can be used more than bitcoin on the deepweb, but what about all the other? a sub payment gateway can be created to allow users to use these coins, like bitpay for bitcoin, just an idea
3657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Segwit for LTC really necessary? Why? on: April 11, 2017, 04:19:31 PM
Unnecessary because Litecoin's network is not crowd like Bitcoin's, this is only for pump, not the real use. If bitcoin signals SW, btc will be pumped too.

Please learn what segwit is, its not about block scaling why litecoin need it
As market want to test SEGWIT as solution for bitcoin problem, litecoin can be used for that test!!

What problem?

problems that are about block size limit and scaling, bitcoin can't scale correctly with 1MB block, with segwit you have effectively 2MB block or more, and make bitcoin scale more, but not like a final solution, just a first step that in conjuction with lightining network will make bitcoin fully scalable in the future
3658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Launched: PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN=AIRDROP] on: April 11, 2017, 04:16:47 PM
cannot waiting Picoin listed on exchange
i want to buy it

i think you can buy privately from some users, i sell picoin, if you are interested pm me, there is no need for exchange if we can do a OTC market
3659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to create a new cryptocurrency on: April 11, 2017, 01:24:31 PM
Guys im planning to create a new cryptocurrency but scared to failed. Do you think newbie like me have a chance?

i think not, everyone can create his own altcoin, being a newbie doesn't change much if you know what you are doing, and have a basic code experience, just try to be innovative and think out of the masses, maybe add a new algo and new features, that make your coin not a clone, but offer something unique
3660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about Dash on: April 11, 2017, 01:22:37 PM
i think that dash took the throne of litecoin, mining is more decentralized than bitcoin, because x11 asic are a new thing, and dash coem with betetr efatures like anonymity and masternodes, i see dash as an enhanced ltiecoin, i still don't like they did with the swap from darkcoin, and its instamine
