Yes, that is a possibility for sure. Do these super walls appear on any other exchanges? I only use MtGox.
I dunno, that's a good question. It sure is peculiar. I'm glad I got in while the getting is good though! The way it rebounded I think we'll see it reverse it's trend, or at least stabilize soon. There are just way too many people waiting for them to get cheap, like me!

Neither SA's wonderful bitcoin thread nor your explanation are really helpful in solving the mystery, so I'll wait till Atlas himself talks to me!
SA members who are on this forum and have made it a 3rd world forum have no concept of being a grow up. Just look at my post history in the last 24 hours. Honestly from your posts and history, you look just as bad as this invisible enemy you are campaigning against. While they may be foul, you get mud all over yourself when you play with the pigs. They want attention, you are giving it to them. And you don't come off as looking like a better person when you do. Good luck though.

I'm just saying, this thread sounds like some conspiracy theory of a mastermind planning ahead what the market will do. I don't believe that's the way things really are. It's not a single strategy, but rather the fact that actors using a lot of money tend to think about what they do. Throw an opening at them, such as people doing stupid moves due to inexperience or panic, and someone might just figure out the right move and make a profit.
Explain 17000 BTC in at 7 that can appear and disappear instantly as it has many times. Often ranging from 10000 - 17000BTC . It is either a single person or a group who perfectly time placing or removing their walls. MTGox employees using insider trading, taking advantage of their btc holdings as leverage to manipulate the price to line their pockets.

Same here, on both counts. What would you think of something like this?
I was thinking just a little marker on the axis at the high and low point would suffice. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) The gray, to me, still implies that it's related to today's movement. Well it is related. I like the grey outline much better, it should be a foreground thought instead of a big green line drawing your attention. However, it is still nice to see the ranges, in a relative way, especially with the huge ups and downs it can see in a day. Little marks would suffice as well I suppose, be easier to decide if you would make one up real quick. Maybe use little bitcoins? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Established? Check how many computers there were in 1995, then 2000 and then check for 2011
Also ok you had a computer but what could you do with it? Much less things than today. And no smartphones at all.
Nobody is saying there aren't more computers today, or that there were smartphones in 95. Who are you replying to? You should use the quote function.

i'd personally argue that computers weren't really a common thing in America until the first-person-shooter genre was really established when Half Life came out in 2000. Before then, there really was no need for a computer in most (note: MOST! just because your weird Uncle Richard had one does not make you "most people") households. Computers weren't common in America until 2000? How old are you, I'm guessing too young to really know cause that's most definitely not true. AOL alone had a million members in 1995, 5 million in 96. And that's just internet access from one company, a lot more people than that had computers. By the way, Half-Life didn't establish the FPS genre, Doom did (1993).

You cannot create energy from nothing
How did the Big Bang happen then? Everything came from nothing. Nothing goes in, everything goes out, you can't explain that! Argument fallacy, you are implying that the big bang created things from nothing and that then it is still possible to do the same We cannot explain the big bang, easy. Does this means we can create energy from nothing? No. So, stop trolling ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) [/quote] Of course we can't, God did, and in 7 days too. It's amazing!
