3641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 11, 2020, 11:58:07 PM
PBA is lacking star players which is the fundamentals of every games to gather a lot of audiences to watch their show. Now is the time for Abueva to get back in the game since it has been too long for his absence. I mean what is the PBA commissioner are thinking for not letting him play after all this time? they need to think in the positive sides on what this players can give if they let him play on the court again.

Do you mean Abueva is one of those stars who can somehow fill the arena? No.

Fan-based depends on team impression - Ginebra No.1. Even SMB's recent finals appearance wasn't able to fill at least 80% of the arena capacity.

And the commissioner did a good job of not letting playing Abueva for long. It's reasonable. And for us, we feel it's taking longer since we hit the pandemic but I think at the start of the Philippine Cup last March, he supposed to come back and play so I will expect him to be present once the league resumes.
3642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: August 10, 2020, 10:10:54 PM
Erase the passive thing in investing on casino bankroll since there's no something like that and even if you go with the house still it has a chance to lose and your investment will go negative. So better come to real situation and accept the risk if you want to go on this option, you cannot earn a big thing here but atleast you can get a portion rather than choosing to store it on your wallet.

Correct. That passive thing mindset will just lead to expectations.

And besides, investing in a gambling site's bankroll requires a higher capital to see the changes. For example, a BTC1 is already a decent amount but in the long-run, we might see only low gains even we count for a year.

The good thing about this investing part is, the money isn't sleeping and who knows the outcome will be good and worth the wait. Just choose a reputable site as it's like storing our money without our control.
3643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 07, 2020, 11:55:13 PM
Still unsure who's going to get the last spot, 3 teams are trying Memphis,
Blazers and Sun all are good and deserving whoever made it to the next round.

Not just 3 but all teams behind 7th are close to 8th and 9th spot.

Unfortunately for most teams there, their remaining games are quite tough and difficult.

Looking at the schedule, I think only New Orleans Pelicans at the West do have at least an easy remaining game although it's hard to imagine that they can sweep it all to have a good position on either 8th or 9th spot.
3644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: August 04, 2020, 11:07:27 PM
Maybe prior accident, Errol Spence is the favorite here but things are now different. The accident's impact is still on Errol's body and he has to admit it. Even he is showing a healthy shape on his videos, it can't hide the fact that there's a problem, which might be physically or mentally.

The comeback is rush. He can challenge anyone but he needs preparation for that and not just jumping against a boxer at high-caliber.

Decision made so Goodluck to him.
3645  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: July 31, 2020, 09:15:30 PM
This pandemic have brought up many job opportunities most specially through online that is pretty good to know but it does not and cannot hide the thing that the economy is struggling due to lots of debts that are unseen to be useful and supposedly to be used this pandemic.

Of course, the economy is not as good as before but still, it tries to rise slowly, and having those job opportunities is one good example that the economy is not literally falling down. There's a light so need to be negative. PH is still lucky honestly.

I'm not against at your thoughts but in the time like this, as I said, help yourself. Even rich countries are struggling today. Stand up!

And take note of this before voicing out concerns about where the debts go. BEFORE pandemic, PH is already facing debts in the previous administration. Where it goes? Debts today were used to SAP (worth 200 billion Php 5,000 - Php 8,000 to 18 million families), nurse salary increases, Covid-19 response, and many more. There's a reason why government debt.

3646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: July 31, 2020, 08:17:53 PM
I'm a citizen of a country where bitcoin is illegal and there's no good way of trading bitcoin in legal way and secured way. I have been trading through the community I have built within these years but sometimes I got difficulty selling bitcoin, not much although. If you are from a country where BTC is legit, I think you are enjoying trading bitcoin. But what about the countries where BTC is illegal? Do you have any such way to trade bitcoin securely? I would love to hear the experiences, difficulty you faced/faces.

Bitcoin is illegal there so no choice but to stick with the methods you know there.

Using other third-party services might increase the risks of being caught by the authorities there.

Still lucky that you have options there to sell your bitcoins even it's illegal.
3647  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: July 31, 2020, 07:37:39 PM
With all due respect, how did you say that the PH economy is falling? PH economy, the same as in other countries, is slowly recovering now even bit by bit.

Just because the number of confirmed cases in the PH increases every day, it does mean that the economy is falling. But still, there are lots of opportunities to earn. The food industry becomes hit. Delivery becomes hit. Transport becomes hit. Online selling becomes hit. If the economy is falling you won't see this business. Everyone wants Milktea, Pizza, and various food.

PH is still lucky compare to those 1st world countries that the situation is really worst. PH is not totally at its worst and people have lots of options to make savings. Focus on that and everything will be financially secured.

Help ourself. We don't need to rely on the government. There are opportunities everywhere.
3648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 25, 2020, 01:13:48 AM
As you can see, Spurs has a high odds, so that means they have a lesser chance to qualify this season.

It's expected already that Spurs playoffs consecutive streak will now be broken this season. I want them to see at the Playoffs but even I want to be positive on that, chances are very slim. The environment inside the bubble might be new to other teams but that won't excuse the whole Spurs team too. A complete Spurs is already struggling so what's more if one of their main players is out.

And sports bookies even try to include the Mavericks on that betting to trap those newbies. Cheesy
3649  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Can you buy a token simply by sending money or crypto to a contract address? on: July 25, 2020, 12:29:40 AM
Would it work if I sent money or crypto from my crypto wallet to a contract address? Would it automatically send me back the token that I wanted to exchange for?  Because sometimes its hard to find tokens on exchanges or swap/exchange websites.

By the way, a contract address is where the token is located. Its like a wallet address.

Is this what you mean?

1) You want a token but you can't find it on exchange
2) You will send the money/crypto instead of the token's contract address and have the equivalent of it to be sent to you automatically.

If yes, then that won't work. It's always a reminder to never send money to a contract address. Those you see wherein someone sending a token in a contract address is to execute the token swap for example and that's automatic. The one that transfers here is the token itself and not the actual money.

And out of curiosity, why bother purchasing this kind of tokens that isn't listed on the exchange? There is no liquidity so I doubt you will gain profit from it. You can also look at some decentralized exchange as it might have an active market there like for example Etherdelta for ERC20 tokens (if not listed, you can manually input it).
3650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 24, 2020, 11:53:32 PM
Question. How can this be included in a sportbetting if both boxers will only play for an exhibition match? Isn't it that these matches can be subjected for manipulation since they only play just for fun?

Since it's still a boxing bout mate. Charity or exhibition, the match involves 2 of the greatest boxers in history so a betting will be open.

Some gamblers might also think of that but at the end of the match, there's a result so it now depends how good they are in picking.

The much awaited boxing match between Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Junior, although both of them are old but certainly entertaining.
Moreover, opening betting odds already exist, even though Jones Junior is a favorite. But I'm sure Mike Tyson will win the game.
Because Tyson is a boxing legend, so I'm sure Tyson has a good strategy to beat Jones Junior.

Both are legends. It's not the basis for who will win.

It's now up to them how aggressive they are to snatch a win even for a exhibition match.
3651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will gambling signature promoters still get the same rate on: July 24, 2020, 11:35:06 PM
I consider this as gambling related discussion but I can be corrected on where to move this topic, but what if in the next month Bitcoin suddenly jump to $30000 or more will gambling promoters still get the same rate that they are getting in Bitcoin like me I'm getting 3000 sats per posts will the developers and admin reduced the amount or retain it, this is one of my motivation in promoting gambling sites, I dream of getting $1 or more per posts equivalent when Bitcoin pump.

Just mind it once Bitcoin finally jumps on that price level. Smiley Some campaigns are also paying their participants in USD-based so not totally affected at all even Bitcoin goes into the moon tomorrow.

For BTC payout, you will just know the decision of your campaign owner once the moon price happened.

But before anything else, don't stop working on the improvement of your account and rank up so that your future rate will be increased too in the signature campaign (depends on the campaign you have joined).
3652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 24, 2020, 11:15:35 PM
Which group do you want to be in the PBA? Me, I don't want another team for SMC or MVP Group anymore, maybe I will choose SM as they are a big company and for sure they can get players with good talent as money would not be the problem for them.

A large company indeed is a need, surrounded by professionals and not a crybaby like BlackWater Team owner lol. I will choose SM Prime Holdings and Bounty Agro Ventures Inc.

Aside from both companies are big, they also showed interest before that they want to have a team in PBA.

But since pandemic, I'm sure these companies will not spend Php150M for now. BlackWater will not be sold and they will still part of the league once it resumes.
3653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 23, 2020, 11:42:39 PM
I think Blazers now are a healthy team, they could possibly get into the playoffs. What do think fellas?

Actually, Jusuf Nurkić is expected to return for the Blazers last March but the NBA canceled their season because of the pandemic.

He is one of the good role players in the Blazers team in terms of offense and defense. His comeback might bring hope to the Blazers fans that playoff chance is still possible.

And with the new format, they can at least target the 9th spot for a play-in tournament with the 8th. The higher the better of course but that will be difficult.
3654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big decision by the OCC - Banks can now hodl Bitcoins. on: July 23, 2020, 11:20:18 PM
Those people that skeptical about bitcoin will somehow realize the crypto is not that bad as they think. Because of this news, I'm expecting a newcomers that will consider the use of bitcoin whether for business or investment purposes.

I also don't believe that banks will ask for whole documentation anytime they will receive deposits of bitcoin or a client that will move their bitcoin to their account. Just like how fiat was moved or deposit to the bank, I think it will just be requested to customer once they detect a whole bunch of bitcoins sent in the account at once as it will trigger the alarm under the money laundering law.
3655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 23, 2020, 11:03:28 PM
I will choose Mike Tyson although his opponent just came fresh out of retirement so boxing instinct is still there.

The reason is, since retirement, Tyson didn't experience any minor or major physical injury. He stays fit, he keeps on exercise after gaining too much weight, he has a disciplined to his body and that's the reason he is shown as beast in his practice today.

Roy Jones Jr. already experiencing some injury that is not related to a boxing match. Maybe his body is not that fit anymore for heavyweight or near level weight class. He retires because of some injuries and not because he wants to stop boxing.
3656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: July 22, 2020, 11:22:43 PM
1 week more to go and the NBA will officially resume, I'm happy to see that as early as this, you are already sharing your opinion of the first game guys, yes, the Lakers and the Clippers are great teams, it's hard to cap this game, we can stay away if we are not confident with our pick, but since this is an opening game, I think I would regret if I will not put my bet.

To add spice for those speculations about Lakers vs Clippers, I also agree that the game will be a pure offense.

I will give Over 218 points with an 80% chance to happen. Those Clippers who aren't expected to play are more defensive type players.

But for who will win between them, I understand it's hard to choose but Lakers won't miss any of their key players so I think Lakers will take this one. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard also no need to push hard to win on this game if they see they can't handle the Lakers in the early quarters. Playoffs spot already secured. No homecourt advantage so seeding might not be prioritized by these top teams.
3657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 22, 2020, 10:52:18 PM
I think Rafi Reavis will retire soon but he'll retire younger than Asi's age I guess.

I did a quick search on that Rafi Reavis goal:

Rafi Reavis wants to do a 'Jawo'

The article was posted last January 2018 and on that date, Reavis has a total of 664 games and needs at least four more seasons to catch up with Jaworski to surpassed the legend's 958 games.

But with the pandemic struck the country, instead of Reavis only need 1 more year after this season, he still needs 2 seasons. So to my computation, he will surpass Jaworski at the age of 45 if PBA will resume at least next year and if Reavis will play healthy each and every game. After that, he can now retire, and Asi is now around 50 years old on that date and can still push for 1 more season to surpass Jaworski's active playing age. Cheesy
3658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: July 16, 2020, 09:11:41 PM
Them as players, they will also care for their audiences and fans.

We can support them while staying home.

That's correct. Even players will oppose to having fans watching live on the event.

As support, fans must always watch the game to contribute to stream ratings.

We will soon graduate at this new normal. Let's embrace for now all the changes we will see, not just in sports but for other industries as well.
3659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Limited escrow service for building self discipline. on: July 16, 2020, 08:35:27 PM
The more a gambler tried to limit his bet, the more they desire to gamble when they lose it within the set of periods they set with the supposed escrow or a person that entrusted with the fund.

This not actually effective for me. I'd rather try to resist the desire to gamble once I lose, with my funds just accessible anytime. If I set a certain amount to gamble per week and loses it all on the 2nd or 3rd day, there are chances that I will not follow the escrow terms.

We as a gambler have a mindset that once we won, we always want to repeat it that's why even with continuous loss, we don't stop.
3660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: July 16, 2020, 08:05:11 PM
.. but the safety and comfort of player will make them last longer even though there are no bonuses offered.

This. I also feel safe if I see a site is serious to build their reputation by showing how best their security is.

So the task now for a new gambling site owners is, "HOW?"

Honestly, I rarely (or actually none) see a new gambling site that primarily introducing their site because of how secure their system is instead of their promotional, bonuses, perks and offers.
