3641  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUDS are big Confirmations that were in a Bull Market!!!!!! on: January 25, 2021, 08:12:07 PM
Totally agree with @sana. FUD and FOMO are instruments that mess with your emotions. When you're handling your finances you shouldn't be emotional, but call your rationality aka your financial education.

Analyse carefully what is happening in the institutional space because that's where most of the action is happening at these price points. Companies with seasoned financial analysts are more likely to know what they're doing than the average joe, it's a fact (but not always). Wink
Wont be precise if you do rely with those but at least you do have some idea on whats going on rather than being blind all the way.
Fundamentals doesnt really give out precise results since this market is way too unpredictable since from the start where it can really
break those analysis that had been made.

about Fud and fomo on this market then this can really mix up someones emotions and decision making. If you are an investor
that do easily get affected with these then you will really be having a hard time on handling out your investment.
3642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas (No date yet) on: January 24, 2021, 11:39:58 PM
Moving back to this upcoming fight, the pride will still be there knowing that pinoy loves
to aim higher achievements, though there's no question about the winning chance
of Inoue but we never know until it happened.

Inoue is not in question here, he hasn't loss a fight yet, maybe the question is on Dasmarinas if he can keep it up knowing how powerful Inoue is.

Of the 20 fights, he won 17 of it by KO, that's a real threat, a real power, it's hard to deny that he can KO Dasmarinas if he can hit him with some solid punch, just one clean punch and the fight will be over.

https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/628407

You should also consider that Dasmarinas does have 30W (20 KO) 2 losses and 1 draw which i can say that it isnt really that bad of a record. KO percentage is high
it might not be high as Inoue but i can say that he would give a good fight. He isnt that brittle just like you were thinking but somehow if we do consider
on their past bout with Donaire which is far more experienced that Inoue but still he do able to take him down but you can see that he really had a hard time
since Donaire isnt really that too easy to taken down.He had just able to land a clean liver blow which result on a down.
3643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you develop stronger hands? on: January 24, 2021, 10:21:30 PM
-Set specific goals or targets
-Set stop loss or take profits
-Alter decisions when market tends to have some odd movement.
-Follow up your guts or intuition sometimes.

This is pretty working on my part and all of these things can be acquired when you do already get sufficient experience
towards the market so simply means trading as long as you can will really give out significant effects.
3644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hamster powered races on: January 24, 2021, 09:52:12 PM
Okay this answers my question regarding the welfare of the animal. Glad to hear that Mia is doing well and is taken care of to the best of your abilities. One last question, in the event that Mia passes away, what are your plans? What will be the future of the game?

Answering with just using up your common sense on what would they do if mia passes away? They would find just for a replacement and it isnt really that hard to do.
Typically, hamsters live for up to two years, although some may live for longer depending on how its being cared nor handled.I do see that lots are really that much
concern with that hamster rather than with the game itself. hehehe. Some users had pointed out about the wrong things about Marble weight and Fees, so i would
go in matter of the course which it should really be longer so that the race wont really be that boring on seeing results in a matter 3-5 seconds?
3645  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: January 24, 2021, 07:37:30 PM
Things will get clear 2 years after start. In November this year we will see how many people on earth is vaccined and how many countries will suffer in 4th and 5th wave. World economy will not start recovering before 2022.
Many countries are facing the new wave and the virus has genetically mutated and become stronger, the strain they found in the United Kingdom spreads much faster and now there are restrictions in place and countries are shutting down again, Canada implemented strict lockdown and so is the situation in Australia.

It is true that the pharmaceutical companies were racing against each other and many have come out with the product but i will pass being their experiment rat. Until there is a 100% certainty that these vaccines does not have any side effects i will stay away from them.

I am not afraid for Canada or UK. They will both vaccine over 70% of their population before Autumn. India, Africa, South America, other Asian countries will not. Simply because they will not get enough vaccines. Actually in autumn there might be enough vaccines, but you cant then vaccine billions in a month. There will be huge mess.

Everything will takes time and cant really be done in a flash or a short span of time neither the delay due because of the access of those vaccines or simply that there would be
some sort prioritization depending on which country is really near into those who had been able to create one.Taking one of those shots in early phases wont really be that ideal.
Myself wont really be considering on accepting or taking it even though majority been saying that it wont really do no harm but to look into those previous reports or news
about deahts due to that vaccine then you cant really blame out yourself on not to be afraid.
3646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 23, 2021, 11:56:21 PM
Scammers are becoming more clever by the day. So it's either you rest easy and take the chance or secure yourself nd be future-proof. As of now no one can beat 2FA unless they stole your phone too so I would really suggest setting up 2FA.that couple of minutes of inconvenience would save you thousands of dollars in the long run.
That is why we always suggest people install and enable the 2FA on their account, especially if that account has the money inside.
The scammers will find out which account that already enables the 2FA, and which account does not activate 2FA because they have many ways to search for that info.
We can only activate every security that the site suggests to us to feel safe from the hacker, although we can not get 100% safety from them.
At least, we can minimize the chance to get hacked by them.

Some sites only suggested you to enable 2FA in your account, while some even required you to do so, I like a site that requires its gamblers to ensure that accounts are safer since it has a high security. In this scenario, OP knows the risk because he is a techy guy but he choose not put secured his account with 2FA, but with what happen, I'm sure he will enable it if he still continues using the site.
Once you get or experience those events on losing money and it do connects with security then i highly doubt that he wont come back on using the site after the incident.
Even if you are techy then it doesnt mean that this will really be making you exclude into those hacking possibilities. In talks about mandatory 2fa then its really a bit off to me
just like on other platform or exchangers that do ask out this security measure before you can proceed on using them up.Its just me but this one is really annoying,
making it as an optional is a better one but people should always consider on the safe side rather than taking step when its already too late.
3647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: January 23, 2021, 11:34:33 PM
~
Not sure which part of the world you are living, there are several restaurants accepting bitcoin and several other currencies as payment across Europe and US. There is no reason for a state to interfere unless and until you are dealing with illegal trade or money laundering.
I used bitcoin transactions in restaurants in the past while i was travelling and it is not big deal anymore as everyone knows about the cryptocurrency market.
not only restaurants but several large companies and other shops that accept bitcoin payments, please check here https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin/who-accepts/
some last a long time, some only in a certain period. we have to realize that this is not yet fully adopted, kind of a test run if I think. but this is already pretty good progress. By making bitcoin an alternative payment, this means that the company owners see the potential of their consumers.
The name crypto has been globally known to big companies, a reason that they are considering accepting this as they know it was an alternative way of payment aside from having fiat. Cashless payment has been an exercise for some companies for several years and this new digital currency is just like the same system but the problem is on its volatility.
One of the reasons on why we wont be seeing full adoption scale towards these fast food restaurant or any business that do really hesitate when it comes to volatility. Excluding to those business owners who can really
accept or do took the risk without any doubts or simply saying that they do accept if their profits or money converted to bitcoin would really go lower due to market price movement and the rest is just really like to
play safe and thats why they dont really bother on integrating crypto payments because of this. Yes, we do had already that digital or cashless payments with fiat system and majority will be seeing
that we wont really be needing more alternative on this one.For those who do reside on countries that does have fast food restaurants that do accept crypto then good for them.
3648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 23, 2021, 11:15:54 PM

Ive read an article recently where a guy found his old paper with login an account with bitcoins, sold them in a rush for $3-4 millions and deleted all his social media accounts. I wonder if this jackpot winnner gonna something of that kind. Like hiding from relatives.
Situation that cant really be avoided and this guy is a little bit wise on taking such action because those social media accounts or even his own personal email or would really get or been flooded thru text
will really happen. He's just fast enough to avoid those things though but it would be useless for those who do know his residence.  Grin Unless if he do buy some new house or location then that would
really be a good thing. For 1B jackpot winner then expect for such begging, not only into your relatives but also into other people that know you as well. This is not a small amount that had won and just
like what others been complaining about the tax then it is really just too big.I cant afford to lose up a half of winnings and imagine that 500M would be cut then you would really be fighting for it
but if you are too impatient or cant really wait then you would really take the deal.

Satoshi Nakamoto is been spotted in Google search said Hoffman Investigation.

https://hoffmanjosef45.medium.com/satoshi-nakamoto-7cb71432c48d

Here we go again with these kind of topics on talking about Who's satoshi nakamoto? ; Satoshi had been found ; Satoshi had been spotted; etc. Link is dead but other user above pointed out on what you are trying to say which i do see to be that thing that had been discussed above. Its an old one and this story will continue to pile up into those situations where people do claim, tell, speculate on where satoshi is.
Why we cant just leave him alone? If he would go out and show his face into the public then he would do that but for now lets just let things supposed to be.Dont force up
if he wont decide to reveal himself. Lots of speculations, lost of identity  claims like that shit CW until to this very year.
3650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 23, 2021, 10:25:38 PM
On spot trading I can make at least 200-400 $ every month depending on market conditions. Sometimes I also hold for 2 months to get the price I want. almost 1 year I have earned approximately 3,000 $.In my opinion there is no risk even though the decline occurs because we can hold and there is no Liquidity on Spot trading.

Since this year when there was a Futures on Binance I actually suffered a lot of losses, for many people who can indeed see this an opportunity to get quick money but some can also lose. I was hit by rect later this year because of Short bitcoin.
One of the reasons on why i didnt really tend to get engage with futures/leverage type of trading. You would really get that big profits but in exchange or equal it do doubles the risk.

Back to topic on how much i do make in trading bitcoin then it is all random but on average i do make $100 per week but there are weeks which are lesser.
It depends on the market condition or trend because not all the times we would really be having a good day or making profits.
What matter most is to retain up profits even you do suffer losing trades.

I created a new topic for my issue. I'm waiting over 1 month with no answers at all regarding to my account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5311584.new#new

I hope it gets solved so I can provide you with a positive feedback
Why did you mention 1 month here when you stated that you have been facing this issue since June 2020? Can you explain?

Also, there is no point in trying to contact their support on their site or here in my opinion since 1xbit usually steals from gamblers whose balance is high(Like yours) and they ignore low balance gamblers. They don't care about their trust rating here either.

I'm waiting for 1 month on this forum support, and almost 7 months for email support yes. When I said 1 month I was referring to this 1xbit_official user support.

Try it all

3652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 23, 2021, 08:47:10 PM
How has 2021 started for you? Any great wins?
Just pure loss lol, haven't made a winning on any games (except for NBA betting) since this year started, and that's  the reason why I haven't  played any for a week now lol, a bad start for me I guess as maybe this is already a hint for me to stop playing roll games 🎲 😬
It is still too early in the year so you are going to have chances to recover the money you have lost however I will say that this January has not been that nice to me either, I have lost some money in sports bets and while it was a very small amount of money it still stings no matter what you do, especially since I made some bets on my favourite team and I lost them all so not only I had to deal with the sports bets that I lost but also with the fact my favourite team lost.
Well, thats gambling, you wouldnt know on what would happen neither you do play sports betting or casino games. On my gambling experience too for this 1st month of 2021
turns out to be bad too since im on the negative side but im not really minding much because as usual i do play for entertainment.Yes, its stressful on minding up
that much that you've been losing for this year initially but if you wouldnt mind and doesnt care if you do lost then this wont really be an issue.
We do still have 11 months to go and we might be lucky into those months left but overall dont take it seriously when dealing up with gambling.
3653  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: January 21, 2021, 11:54:30 PM
If everyone sincerely follows the quarantine rules , wear a damn mask , stay at home and isolate themselves if they don’t feel good instead of going on stupid rallies and ignoring the pandemic then I think we can do it in a year.
There are many people who dont cooperate thats why the virus cant be controlled from spreading. If only people unite to stay at home if there's nothing important to do outside then somehow the number of cases were going to reduced. Im afraid we're going to have another lockdown because of the sars-cov from uk (another variant of covid), they say this is much worse than covid-19. Oh well I think we cant return to what we used to to atleast for the coming days and months.
Easy to say  for them to be inside of their homes but for the ones who do heavily rely into their work then its really hard to stop out people on not to do things.
For the sake of survival then they would really go to work and on the discipline side or cooperation then this will talk about the protocol.
People should follow on whats mandated or instructed to prevent the spread of virus specially now that new strain had been discovered which is
more contagious and highly spreadable.
3654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin outperforming Gold on: January 21, 2021, 10:31:30 PM
Why do really try to force on talking how bitcoin outperformed Gold? I agree on what Forbes had published on about Bitcoin is not like gold
https://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerhuang/2020/03/16/bitcoin-is-not-like-gold/?sh=31d174f22191 They have their own differences which is obvious.
Just let it be on  how they do differ in different aspects which its normal or not surprising after all. When you make out some investment decisions
then you can freely choose according to your likes.
3655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 21, 2021, 09:30:32 PM
I’m not sure I like McGregor fighting these professional boxers. He should leave that to the youtubers or be the pro that fights the youtuber. I feel like he’s devaluing himself by being the losing spectacle in these matches.

It seems like Connor McGreggor has been preparing for this fight this year. However, it would be hard for him to win this fight because we all know that Manny is well dedicated and he will make sure that his last fights before his retirement would be remarkable. If it's all about money, it's a mismatch for sure and it would be quite unfair for Manny because he deserves a good match.

We'll see how this Saturday goes.  From the social media nonsense going on, you'd think he's also lining himself up for a fight with Logan Paul.  I think McGregor is just keeping his options open.  If he wins this Saturday he'll be able to coast around with some of these play fights and make a ton of money before having to prove himself in a real fight again.  If he doesn't win...  Who knows what will happen.
This is already becoming the trend on where these fighters do plan out on whose the one will be next in line neither if its a cross-sports event or a main one
it doesnt matter but mostly they will prefer on exhibition fight on where they do know that they wont really be affecting their statistics in case if they lose
plus this wont really be a hard-fought one since they do know that they do have the edge inside the ring and the most important of all is on how to
make big money with just a matter of few rounds with less fighting performance.
3656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is dying on: January 21, 2021, 08:10:29 PM
A lot of people are predicting that ripple is dead, while some are of the opinion that it might recover after all. Recently, there have been some talks over whether Ripple should go head to head with SEC in court or settle.

What is your opinion on this matter?

You would really be expecting lots of mixed words towards XRP specially that its price had plummet down compared it was before or into that pre-SEC issue.
Is it really dying? No it isnt but rather we do see its price moving sideways where it means that buyers and sellers are still undecided on what action will really be
done next.Dont get easily dragged up with FUD and when you do tend to make out investment with XRP or shall we say buying the dip then its up to you,
its a risk to take because its impossible not to think that this might be XRP's demise but try to look the price then its still holding well.
3657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 21, 2021, 07:13:49 PM
You should at least put up some source link about this topic and I do made out some search and I found which things you've bee talking into.

https://thehustle.co/the-man-who-won-the-lottery-14-times . Man who had able to win lottery for how many times, they do all buy all the possible

lottery combinations and making lottery wins into business. If we do read up the article it would really be explaining everything.
There is already a thread which the topic is this. Man won 12 times in lottery and who had been talking about Stefan mandel. You are right that OP should put up some source links for him to avoid some problems later on about this forums rules about copy pasting article contents without posting up the source because you would end up on having that copy-pasting.
So better be aware or else you would get banned.Back on topic on hitting those lotto combinations then its actually possible but the question is that this do really need big capital where it means that you do need lots of
people that would be funding you up on buying all possible combinations  on that lottery game.
3658  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 20, 2021, 11:56:27 PM
I think we should sell it because the current price is very high, so the price may go down. so don't expect a big profit Smiley
The prices are still going up and although there are some hiccups selling right now is not the best option. That is my take on the question though, it is pretty subjective as we have different lives and our condition of living is almost unique to our country's. For me, holding for the long term is the best course of action.
Holding for the future is what most been targetting but as mentioned that conditions in each everyones lives are different where there are situations where you do need to make profit to sustain
or support your living in a short time manner which means dealing with the market actively is a must for you to have chance neither you do gain or loss in a short span of time that means
your capability of doing trades will really be tested out. Selling or buying then it all goes to a certain investor, if you do go for long term holds then go ahead but if you do go
with active trades then go ahead, it doesnt matter which one as long it would really make you contented and comfortable on what you are doing.
3659  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| January 2021 on: January 20, 2021, 10:55:26 PM
This is just a random thought.

If most of the gambling sites does not benefit from all these large transaction fees then why they are not integrarating the Lightning Network on their site? Though I am aware that it needs a lot of work in terms of technicalities involved in changing the whole backend and frontend code but isn't it that if at least they manage to integrate LN, the gambling platform could somehow gain traction for new players/clients?

Another pros is that we can also experience and practice making transaction over the Lightning Network which I think is a good experience.

Am I missing something why only few of them is using it?,
Very on point thought.

I think LN is still not that common and the casinos may adopt it but many of their users won't consider it. That's just also my thought about it. It's possible that we'll see adoption of LN through casinos could be a few more years.

If they see a demand for it, they'll absolutely add it.

Some casinos starting to accept USDT already, I think that's their solution to avoid volatility which is the main problem for bettors whose intention is for sole gambling only. I also like the LN but as of this time I have never seen a popular site started adopting it already.
There are already some old and popular gambling sites that had integrated lightning network like Crypto.games  https://blog.crypto.games/2020/11/bitcoin-lightning-network.html

We do have viable options to take on if we are really trying to get rid of paying up higher fees due to network congestion.
