Fighting the greatest boxer is one of the best achievement what a boxer can possibly got but I believe that's not what Mcgregor aim since for sure as the  other user quoted in this message said he truly aims to get a millions of dollars after  this fight, For sure he knows that he can't defeat Pacquaio on this match but still its a win-win situation for him since he will still go home happy  with his millions  plus he will be listed on history that he fight the greatest boxer on this  era.

This will be scheduled this coming Sunday in our timezone, I'll surely watch this fight. McGreggor is the favorites to win in this fight, I think he can win this one and the negotiation will start if it has not started yet. I was looking for future possible fights in boxing where I can bet and stumble upon this news. apparently, both side has been in talks of possible fights between Pacquiao and McGreggor.

This is a speculation that is going on for a while and even during the recent media interviews Conor McGregor responded about the speculation when asked by reporters. If the fight is to take place Dana White and the UFC should give Conor McGregor the approval.

I am a huge fan of boxing and seeing great boxing fighters with decades of experience fighting amateurs(yes, consider McGregor an amateur at least in the boxing world) is really disappointing and is derogatory to the sport. but I'd still watch the fight though. can't pass a Pacquiao fight especially when he can retire at any moment now due to his age.

There will be a mismatch given that they are from different leagues. This ain't street fight wherein a player would only consider skills. Rules, capabilities and kind of training would matter. But as I've said, I doubt any of this player would aim for the victory, they know to themselves the gap between each of them. This is already becoming the trend on where these fighters do plan out on whose the one will be next in line neither if its a cross-sports event or a main one

Considering the mismatch, we all know how will the match go but as you've said, speculation seems to be interesting since with the aging Manny Pacquiao doesn't have that many fights in the past unlike McGregor still active on the octagon. Forget about the age of Manny Paquiao that doesn't make sense, even if Manny will turn 50 and he is still active, there's no way McGreggor can take advantage on that as he is not a pure boxer, he is a UFC Fighter. It seems like you forgotten that Manny beat a 31 year old undefeated champion in his last fight, that would prove that his age is not a hindrance on winning, so don't expect that Conor has a chance here.

I think age is just a number for Manny as we can see he is still fit and able to fight younger boxers. I thought he will going to retire soon but it seems he has no plan doing it.

There's no schedule yet as it was not finalized yet, Manny only send his message for Conor to focus on his coming fight, then maybe they'll talk after the fight of Conor will win, if not, then probably crowd would not be interested as it was before. BTW, some big fights are happening despite of the pandemic, so it's not impossible as long as they can choose a good venue where they can attract crowd.

There are no negotiations yet made on that fight but with or without pandemic, boxing events are now taking place.
