3641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we be worried with Bitfinex? on: November 19, 2017, 06:16:05 PM
After these rumors about USDT I took my money from Bitfinex. I think it's better to wait a bit until things die down.

I'm still surprised that after the 'hack' on bitfinex people had the audacity to still go ahead and trade with them, let alone leave a good portion of their trading money their.

This should be the last straw for a company like BitFinex, who has stolen money from people and is now supporting the scam of the tether. It's all going to pop.

Yes, you should be highly worried, leave BITFINEX IMMEDITATETLY.
3642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is gunbot or automatic trading robot really profitable ? on: November 19, 2017, 05:59:44 PM
For some it is, for some it isn't. When you think about it, Gunbot is really going to be following what kinda parameters you set for it, so you're the one that is giving the outlines for the way that you'd be trading.

If you're just trying to buy it in order to get  INSTANT PROFIT, then stop right there, there's no reason to do that and you're not going to make a dime. It's expensive, and is only worth it for traders who have a good amount of capital, and don't want to have to do this full time.

Very subjective thing, for some it is, for some it isnt.
3643  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: November 19, 2017, 04:32:17 PM
While it was created to be a currency, in its current state and usage form by people Bitcoin is an asset and nothing more then that. The rapid price fluctuation in Bitcoin isn't due to more and more people using it and accepting it. It's from people who want to trade it and make some good money off of it, it's sad to think about but that's the reality of Bitcoin today.

Amazing idea, but it's stuck with people that don't care for this idea at all. They want to make some good money and dash.
3644  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin surely boost the regional economy??? on: November 19, 2017, 04:25:26 PM
A lot of people are quick to make assumptions like this, but when you think about it using Bitcoin is neutral or even a net negative for the regional / worldwide economy. Because think about it, if people don't need the middlemen (being banks and such) because they have miners and computers pretty much doing everything, that's going to kill a ton of jobs. Even if these jobs are for the bank, it's still normal everyday people that are getting hurt in between because they're going to lost their jobs if Bitcoin was to go mainstream.

So, net negative IMO even if I do love btc.
3645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Register a Coin on Exchange ?? on: November 19, 2017, 04:00:34 PM
You can easily get your coin added on a ton of shitty coin sites, not like that's a problem -- as you're probably only trying to make a quick couple bucks off a random fork coin that you made. So here is a couple links of sites that you're going to have to follow.

https://www.coinexchange.io/register/
https://poloniex.com/coinRequest
https://exmo.com/en/

You get the idea here, find  some sites on coinmarketcap and it'll work out fine.
3646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin almost hitting $8000 on: November 19, 2017, 03:45:14 PM
this is another one of those round numbers that is creating a psychological barrier to break and that is creating some resistance and when that happens, all the technical analysts starts forming up lines for themselves around that number and add to that resistance!
additionally all the altcoin pumps an FUD is creating some sell pressure which is making it harder for the rise to happen fast.

all of this is just slowing down the record breaking event though. i expect it to be broken within a week.

This is true, the big reason that we can't get over this hump is the thing that Bitcoin will be crushing through another ATH and then people will start calling for 9000, then 10000, and so on and so forth.

But when you think about it, this all has to come crashing down at some point. As all of these technical analysis people look good now as they're calling for more and more gains, but this can't go on forever, I can't see the traders sustaining it.

It'll come falling down, sadly enough.
3647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the Tether / Bitfinex thing will be OK? on: November 19, 2017, 06:22:54 AM
Well BitFinex did blow up about 2 years ago now when they were 'hacked' for hundreds of millions of dollars, and tether is just a walking scam just waiting to blow up.

BitFinex, who knows if that's going to have another issue again - it probably will as it's an exchange but still, I'll give it a chance.

Tether though, they've got a ton of people buying tether and there is ABSOLUTETLY ZERO CHANCE that they're really 'tethering' it or backing it up with real cash.

That's a scam waiting for the right time to cash out -- watch out folks.
3648  Other / Meta / Re: What if Me and My wife use Same Internet Connection Same IP address. on: November 19, 2017, 05:51:30 AM
Well, the only thing that's going to be different is you using different wallets, and I really don't think she's going to be using the same wallet as you -- unless you have like a family wallet that you're using which in my opinion is highly unlikely to be happening.

Also if your signature camp is run by an admin or mod, he/she would be able to see if you're sharing an IP -- but this usually isn't the case.

3649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Karpeles Gox ICO to revive the exchange on: November 19, 2017, 05:19:42 AM
Something like this isn't going to happen, the trust in MT GOX is gone. There's possibly no way that something like this is going to work, the people's trust has been removed and if they know that Mark is around they're not going to trust the exchange/token sale in the least.

But I don't see a need for MT GOX being able to function, with the above news and with the fact that they want 245m to start this up - is Mark out of his mind?
3650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you believe Bitcoin is unstoppable? on: November 19, 2017, 12:27:59 AM
No, not in the slightest. Bitcoin is something that is wonderful, and I won't go against that statement but you also have to think of the amount of control that governments and other legal entities (such as banks) do have control over it if they really want to use this power (or if they feel they must use this power to help themselves)

If a government wants to, they can tax Bitcoin usage, buying, selling, etc into oblivion -- and not only put this into law, actually put forward enforcement for this sort of stuff to actually happen. Banks could also refuse to help in the facilitation of transcations, as they're usually the clearing houses for a lot of these things as they still MUST go through fiat.

So, it's not unstoppable at all
3651  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa Launches First Phase of Blockchain B2B Payments System on: November 18, 2017, 02:05:19 AM
I'll believe it when I see it actually happens, or when it's on the VISA site (not just on a random page, on the homepage) companies like this need to embrace the technology if they want to be ahead of the curve. Cause if they don't do it, someone else will do it and they'll lose the control they have over the entire community.

So, OP this is pretty much me asking for a link to this news. Not helping much for you to just say it.
3652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC competes with Monero? on: November 18, 2017, 01:58:36 AM
Monero is no match for Bitcoin, like at all. XMR is a minor part of the crypto market, which is pretty much controlled at the whim of BTC being exchanged for it - because if Bitcoin wasn't around then XMR would die, that's just how it goes.

I don't know how you can even ask this question though, XMR is a small shitty while BTC is the king of the entire industry who controls it all.
3653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will this bitcoin bubble stop at 10-12K or not? on: November 18, 2017, 01:44:46 AM
Well, I do have money in right now, though I'm not going to say that I think Bitcoin is going to be going up to 10-12k because I just can't think this is going to happen. That's an insane price point, and I don't think the traders can deceive people enough to the point where they're able to get Bitcoin to go up another 3000k - 5000k. That's an insane amount of money to be adding to an evergrowing commodity.

Plus that's not going to be good for Bitcoin, as more and more traders are going to be the reason for volatility while everyday people (who we want to join in Btc) are the people who are going to avoid BTC for this very volatility.
3654  Economy / Economics / Re: Why segwit2x failed on: November 18, 2017, 01:31:51 AM
Incompetency, which is somewhat of a common theme in these forks with coins that aren't going to be worth anything, is going to be the death of the altcoin and forking of coins market. Which I think should already be dead, I don't think they should be here anyway.

This should be the beginnning of the end though, we just need everyone to come here and pray that this is over with.

Fuck BCH (Jihan and Ver) and 2X. RIP
3655  Economy / Economics / Re: If there will only ever be 21 million BCH in existence... on: November 18, 2017, 01:18:21 AM
Yes it can make Bitcoin worth more, but that doesn't mean that the community is going to want to keep buying more -- as that's the only thing that can build up value, if there is more demand then supply which is what is meant to happen by controlling the amount of BTC which is allowed to be in supply.

Though still, this is something that will be affected by the people and the traders and such.

It is better then being able to print massive amounts, like what FIAT is though.

3656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin grow into a key payment network? on: November 18, 2017, 01:09:27 AM
Well yes it can, though I think it's going to require some change from the community to make it work. As if Bitcoin can't handle a spam attack, I don't think it's going to be able to handle millions of transactions in a small amount of period -- something that Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and so on and so forth.

Plus at the time, Bitcoin is one of the things that is really just being used as a trading currency to try to make some key people money. No one is really using it as a real payment method at the moment, even though thats its key usage and should be its usage.
3657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits a high of $8,000 on: November 18, 2017, 12:52:00 AM
It's already fallen below, as it's at 7599 already. We're seeing some drops, and these drops are really coming fast. Surprising to see in the least, hoping for a big change to happen soon as I did buy. Though with my luck the thing that's going to happen is that Bitcoin is going to come crashing down, as it always does when I start to invest in it.

Hehe, all jokes but yeah, it's already fallen.ß
3658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x fork stuck two block before the fork on: November 18, 2017, 12:35:23 AM
I wouldn't say the companies are the ones that are in fault, I'd have to say the problem here is that the developers really don't know what they're doing -- they're trying to make a quick buck here with this and it's really just not working out -- kinda expected but it's something that was bound to happen in a team ridden with incompetency.

Hope this'll be the time which the whole forking and 'free money' thing ends with. Gotta end now and this should be the time.

3659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: May I propose a toast... on: November 17, 2017, 01:26:43 AM
Yes, BCH was pumped and dumped, and yes, a lot of people fell prey to it and lost a lot of money. I wouldn't be happy about it though - a lot of these were regular people who invested their hard earned money, only to be scammed. It's sad for the whole community.

Twas bound to happen, everyone just went onto the BCH train in order to try to make some quick cash, and the thing that happens with quick cash is that it is never quick nor is it safe to try to profit from.

The people who lost money, will hopefully take their money and put it into BTC helping us out on growth.

Fuck Jihan and such though.
3660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Russia on: November 14, 2017, 11:52:26 AM
Well, Russia is a country that doesn’t have a large economy a country which is controlled by predominantly one party in government. This party, Putins Party, wants control over everhthing in the country and doesn’t want to lose the profits they’re able to extract from the country

Bitcoin is a problem for them, I see it being regulated very very soon!
