Game today is Bucks vs Heat game 3, can the Bucks also win in game 3?
My instincts says yes.

I like that, very positive about Bucks. People still trust them, they are still the favorites today despite 2 straight loses, I guess I have to bet them in the first half as I expect them to start strong which is their weakness in the last two games, maybe they can improve in this game.

Congrats Nitrogensports for a successful update, the update looks cool as I can see lots of market now.

If I may ask, did you change your odds provider or just the same as before?
It seems like it's still the same, on most of the sports their pre live still offers the same markets(total, moneyline,spread,1st half, quarters, etc). And on esports I remember they have a seperate odds provider for it that's why we see more markets available.

I thought there was a changes since I see a lot of market in a one game now, for example an NBA game, which has 20+ markets. Maybe I just forget anymore since I'm not actively using Nitro due to lack of market in live betting.

Why i cant recovery my account name/password? I didnt log in for few years and i still have some balance left.

maybe its bets to contact the support.
3643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 04, 2020, 09:33:52 PM
More knowledge is never a bad thing.

The more you learn about something, you'll open your eyes to the new possibilities that other people fail to see.
What I believe is quite opposite, it is a bad thing when you know a lot of things, as you said it will be open for possibilities, countless of possibilities and that also mean that there is a lot going to your mind. Let's say you know a lot in statistics, you will always think of the highest possible outcome and will tend to forget the other side, that's what I notice when I played too competitive, there's a lot going to my mind that I can't see the things in my front anymore, I usually overlook easy things and I always make it complicated.

That means you area really analyzing things, an average gambler would go for an "easy things" and that's what the oddsmaker are looking, they will create a betting line that the general public would attractive in betting that line, and that make them lose because it's just a trap.

Make things complicated but still stay consistent, that would be a good recipe for success.

If you don't want to deal with information, statistics etc... dice is your thing.
50/50 chance of winning is better, I can say.

Can't have that in dice due to house edge, sports betting has none, so if you believe in 50/50 chances, that's a real thing.
3644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 04, 2020, 09:16:30 PM
I think the real topic now is OG Anunoby, that last show was amazing, 99% the Raptors would lose but they prove us wrong. With 0.5 seconds only, OG Anunoby made a cod blooded 3 and that changes how this series looks like, it could have been a 3-0 as Walker made an impressive assist.

That was indeed a crazy match today. Well I didn't thought Raptors had a chance with half second remaining on the clock. Timing was perfect and the pointer was perfect to keep them in the playoff run. Anunoby has stealed a star moment today and that is the only name running in Raptors fan mind today.

Still they have also keep it tight and not give it away in next.

He will now be stuck inside every Raptor's fans, with that finishing touched for sure he will remind everyone.

It's also changed  the pace of this series, 0-3 down is very difficult to catch up but with what happened today, Raptors

keep the series close and bring back the intensity and another more game for this series..

I don't want to expect too much about the Raptors in the series, that wasn't a convincing win but just a lucky win.

In the last 3 games, Celtics are always dictating the game game, Raptors only come back in the 4th quarter to make it a close game, well, good thing they got lucky on this one but I doubt if they will not improve in game 4,they would still be this lucky.

I'm surprised with how the price was moving, it looks like moon time.. but not enough yet for me as I bought at a higher price, does not accumulate anymore, just continue to hold and look for a better value, probably at $10 each, I might dump everything.

But I think it's still gonna be a long hold, but as long as the price is alive, I still have some hope though.

3647  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia plan to use untested vaccine against the coronavirus on: September 04, 2020, 01:28:35 PM
Are you sure it's untested?

It isn't untested - it is just badly or inadequately tested.

They just test for antibodies against the synthetic virus they used for development. They don't test for damage as a result of adjuvents  that don't show up almost immediately. They don't check for "T" cell immunity in the victims they recruit, so any beneficial results could be from natural immunity. They don't check for adverse reactions as a result of the use of other vaccines or pharmaceuticals. In fact they don't test for very much, and often they weed out test victims that could skew the results against them.

As per the latest news I read now, it seems like this vaccine is a good to go vaccine as they said there is no adverse effects.

Russia’s potential coronavirus vaccine shows ‘no serious adverse’ effects and creates antibody response: The Lancet study

and hopefully this is a great news.

Quote
The chief of Russian sovereign wealth fund RDIF, which is backing the vaccine, said the country was “on track” to provide exports of the vaccine by November.
3648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: September 04, 2020, 01:06:55 PM
I don't believe investing in gambling sites is any different that investing in stocks bonds or anything else.

Quote
BUT of course, this is a gambling section so gamblers will be gamblers.

This is the difference you missed when you say you don't see the difference between investing in stocks and gambling sites.
Most of the investors in gambling sites or casinos are really gamblers in real life, they know they have the disadvantage so they understand that siding the casinos will make them profitable. This thread is already telling us investing in a casino is profitable since this thread has been running for months already, and profit so far.
3649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: September 03, 2020, 11:56:49 PM
It seems the online gambling regulations contained in the opening post only for UK countries, if it's like that I feel relieved
that I don't have to follow these rules. Each country has its own policies regarding online gambling, but based on the information
I get. There are so many countries that have banned online gambling, including the country where I live. But fortunately it still can
accessed using a VPN.
VPN puts you at risk if you use it to circumvent censorship and blocking. Many sites ban it directly in their TOS. Maybe they don't enforce it all the time but if you're caught with big winnings they're in their rights to deny you.

Well, that's sort like a cheating method of the gambling sites.

I've seem that kind of scenario many times, first they will allow you to deposit and bet on the site despite knowing you are already violating in the first place, but if you win big money, that's where they act telling you that you violated their TOS, and that's a big BS, but we can't complain since we really violate, so let's just make sure we know what we are doing so we won't complain.

Please, not yet, PundiX still has a life as long as it's hanging with Binance that's still giving them a decent volume for a project that has already loss its hype.

I agree, sooner or later this project will no longer be heard of in crypto land. Personally I am surprised it is still dragging on for so long, I thought it should have been buried by now.

Just came across a event called LATAM Marketing Campaigns for pundiX on coinmarketcal does anyone has any idea what do they mean by LATAM campaigns? Below is the link to the event.

https://coinmarketcal.com/en/event/latam-marketing-campaigns-39486
there is nothing interesting about this, in the end they just spend money on something that is not useful for their project. Sooner or later this project will no longer be heard in the crypto space
3651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 03, 2020, 11:19:44 PM
In my opinion, sports betting does require good knowledge, because it is different from other types of gambling. Sports betting depends
from the knowledge we have, from there we are able to analyze the sports matches that will take place.
The other games are luck based type of games, simple knowledge is enough, you need an extreme luck to win most of the time, which I think not going to happen if you are constantly gambling as the house will definitely eat your bankroll.

Even with knowledge which is good,
still the winning percentage is still around 50%. Because you still need luck to win in sports betting.

If 50% winning chance only, that would not help us, or if we break even because we already lose the time and effort we spent, we need more than that to win, winning does not only mean by the way we choose our bets, also, discipline like proper bankroll management is necessary.
3652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 03, 2020, 10:51:55 PM
If ever Miami Heat will able to win the series, I think they will now create their own buzz and a sort of threat to other teams.

Obviously because they beat the best team in the regular season, and Giannas tanked again, that would be another interesting story for the haters.
Well, the series is not over yet, but if they will lose in game 3, then probably Bucks won't be able to come back anymore.
3653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police reportedly seize South Korea's largest crypto exchange Bithumb on: September 02, 2020, 11:08:22 PM
If this incident was indeed true then I'm afraid, Bithumb will suffer a major blow to its credibility and it would be good that they should settle it at once
This will be a huge blow for the Bithumb, even if they prove this allegation false, this will affect their credibility as cryptocurrency exchange. I bet people now on bithumb is moving out, this is what most of people usually do when their platform gets into this kind of situation. Too bad for Bithumb.

On the other hand, we can also see this giving a positive effect on their reputation since it was proven false and I believe that's how crypto people look at a platform, they trust the one which proven to be legit. You might look at what happen to Binance, they got hacked, but does it affect their reputation negatively? No, in fact their trading volume has increase significantly.
3654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 02, 2020, 10:36:09 PM
I don't know why they decided to give the last shot to Conley and not Donovan. Undecided

I can't remember who pass the ball anymore, let's blame that game as when conley receive the ball, I don't think it's not a good idea to shoot it, no way he can pass it and the receiver will create a good shot. What's done is done, good luck for the Jazz next season, maybe they have to reevaluate their line up.

Games tonight that I'm interested on.. Rockets -5, do you think they'll cover that?
Most chances they will cover this as I also like this and for other game I am feeling under 225 is really better option as both teams going with tight defense.

I have a feeling that Rockets vs OKC will be a low scoring game, not higher than 215 points, but the first game would be a high scoring game, so I'm only betting on the first game total over and will just skip the 2nd game, instead I'm watching it like and enjoy, and probably put some bet at halftime.

Hopefully this time Westbrook won't bet on OKC moneyline.
3655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 02, 2020, 09:44:06 AM
West can't complete the 1st round series yet, first it was Nuggets vs Jazz  went to game 7, now we have the OKC vs  Rockets.

What a wild first round, I'm very excited to watch the game 7 for Nuggets and Jazz tomorrow, may the best team wins.

This is what it should be when you got those unstoppable teams competing at each other. Expect the craziest strategies that they all gathered throughout the years of experiences playing in the Playoffs. now that they facing with not just two teams but for teams in game 7, expect the unexpected. what I mean by this is that Chris Paul might get unstoppable in the next game that will leaves Rockets their worse playoffs record after He left the team.

Even though the playoffs isn't started, some analysts predicted that the Thunder has only a 0.2% chance that they will reach the playoffs.
Now they prove them wrong and they are going to a Game 7 with the small ball Rockets.

CP3 has many experiences already when it comes to the playoffs compare to the players of the Rockets so I know that the composure for him is still there in the crucial moments unlike Westbrook (Ninja Turte) who just throw the ball to the referee that cost the game for them Cheesy.

I'm thinking of betting in the Thunder right now with this coz I got the feeling that they will win and Westbrook will choke again in the last minutes Cheesy.

Good luck on your bet, you'll win a good amount betting on the Thunder as they are +5.5 now.
One start vs 2 stars, Rockets had the advantage, however, they will lose if you are right that westbrook will choke again.
3656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: September 02, 2020, 09:29:24 AM
At this time, Covid-19 isn't so much effective anymore. I think now People are able to manage their daily expense without selling their holding asset like bitcoins. Cause almost every government allow them to lead normal life before Covid-19. Maybe that is why, panic sell is get reduced and bitcoin start increasing. Those are genius who bought bitcoin at the cheap price from panic seller and still hold the amount
There's no panic sell anymore, it only happen when there is a FUD but even if we are in pandemic right now, we are still surviving and that is a good thing to see. Even some stocks are starting to recover, and bitcoin is very much stable reaching $12,000 again today, so there seems to be no sign of panic here.
3657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 02, 2020, 08:58:37 AM
What's your thoughts about this? Is it worth to risk your health just to be able to win money by not abiding the law?
No,it is not. As you have said, they are just gambling because of their financial needs or personal reasons, it means that they are willing to risk their health because for them, it is worth it especially if they won. But as we can see, because they disregard the risk, and even the law, they need to face the consequences of losing more money by paying their fine.

I think it's not right to assume that they are gambling for their financial needs as it's already proven that majority of the gamblers are losers, so gambling is indeed not a good way to make money. They aren't gambling to make a living, they are gambling to have fun, that's the main reason.
3658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 01, 2020, 10:13:12 PM
Even if they are interested in gambling, why not online gambling with a fixed capital that they could afford to lose (though no money is affordable enough to be lost during these tough times).

These people or at least most of them does not have any idea how to gamble online. It requires a little knowledge about computer and internet to gamble online, most of them just follow the traditional way of gambling and that is gambling live watching the game in the venue, and you are right, these people won't learn.
3659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 01, 2020, 10:02:45 PM
Good start for the Celtics and Raptors, it was a close game and I think it's going to be a low scoring game.
They'll be putting more pressure in this game because the Raptors would want to even the series, so let's enjoy the night watching this game.

VanVleet now seems to be having a great start, hopefully we will see him score his usual.

3660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 31, 2020, 08:20:13 AM
If denver is to win then Milsap and Murray have to step up their game and not just rely on Jokic to do all the heavy lifting.

Murray has stepped up in most of the games actually, last game they won and Murray had 42 points.

I think we should call the attention of Milsap, he needs to wake up as tonight is a do or die game for them.

Also, their bench production is lacking, they should improve that.

Absolutely.  Murray has been a beast in this series. At the half right now he already has 25 points shooting the lights out tonight. Millsap might be past his prime the other guys need to step it up, getting harris back bodes well for the nuggets.  I like them to win out the series from here.  Just have to avoid one of Mitchell's crazy 50 point nights

Both Mitchell and Murray were crazy tonight.

Murray got 50 points while Mitchell had 44 points. Damn, this went to game 7, what an entertaining game though I lose my bet.

Good luck, in game 7, I'm still with the JAZZ.

Really interesting both stars are showing their competitiveness and with this kind of wild performance game 7 will be more fun
to watch out, Though Mitchell bring this stats, it's still better to let his entire squad to play with him, Ingles, Clarkson and Gobert
should be more involve with their offense and keep the rotations and find the best option to create the shot, I'm with the Jazz too.
Good Luck

I agree, the play was too focus on Mitchell, they are successful when they are sharing the ball, if they lose in this series, shame on him for focusing on individual stats than the team.  Angry
