3641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash is inevitable on: February 22, 2021, 08:00:29 AM
It looks like this is not a bull's peak yet because the peak will go up many times over from history.
at the beginning of 2017 bitcoin was only worth 1000 $ then at the end of the year it rose to 19200 $.
so earlier this year just be opener maybe at its peak will be 300k $ or more,
this is just my prediction.
2018-early 2020 that market is in dip, most crypto holders are expecting the worse but as the halving takes place, it gives big hopes for everyone and we have this unexpected moment in crypto.
I believe that a market crash is inevitable but the same as the bullish can do. if we think that this year 2021 is just like a thing we experience last 2017, I don't think so. I see the sustainable growing market this year but that was too far hitting $300k, honestly. $100k is close to possible.
3642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: February 21, 2021, 11:19:18 PM
Well, I don't think so, this is just another presumption that can't be of fewer chances. because the reason why BNB is hitting more closer to ETH is if the fees that ETH big problem now, people are hardly moving their ETH for its high cost and the need someone to help which BNB did it.
But even the situation turns at worse, I still don't think that BNB could kick-off ETH on its position. As for its past record, only XRP did it but just of a few hours, and it is done.
3643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 21, 2021, 10:08:33 AM
No Davis big problem for Lakers they must really do a big adjustment after all of those losses since if they cannot boost up their roosters well they might struggle more in the absence of Davis, I don't know what's the problem on them since even if there's no AD on their rotation they still have solid starting 5 and bench players maybe they are just relying on LBJ so best if their coaching staff could find another strategy to cut their losing streak.
That's true.
I watched the game until the end and the Lakers just got a small lead in the 3rd.
After that, the Heat get back for another 8-0 run.

What's missing? Defensively, they are good but offensively they lack something.
No AD and Schroder who are more capable to make shots and can also spread the floor to obtain a better looking shot for their team mates.
The Heat just defended Lebron pretty well and they are all affected by it.

That's what happened because they rely too much on Lebron, well, that's the Lakers brand, Lebron alone can't make this team succeed. Lebron almost hit a triple double, but that was his normal, what is not normal here is he only hit 1 from 8 attempts in 3 points and he has 5 turnovers.
3644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lucky Bitcoiner on: February 20, 2021, 10:59:27 PM
Good for him but I wouldn't show off my house like that.

By doing it you're risking being targeted like so many bitcoiners. There was one in Russia who was attacked and tortured as far as I remember.

What can happen? You can be robbed, assaulted, extorted and if you're lucky Wink and that doesn't happen, the government can come knocking to check if you're not laundering drug money.
That is the problem and that especially when they see you don't have a job, no business, and makes a surprise them you'll have that riches someone will attack you and question about your wealth. That gonna be extortion to us who are in full-time trading, just sometimes we go outside and put us guilty of something.
Much better to keep silent and never be bulgar to the others. We don't need to tell them that we are rich already, just keep simple or just have some business for them not to accuse us of committing a crime, drug trade for example.
3645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why only tron missed the bull this time. on: February 20, 2021, 10:35:05 PM
I also observe Tron didn't reach yet the all time high these days. Some project are already on the move in the market but Tron is still missing this bull run season. But I think it is not yet late, we will see a massive pump on from the soonest time, but hopefully, they will make some updates to the users to make it more adoption on this project.
Other coins did the hypes because someone did the push but TRON doesn't have. We can't tell that TRON misses the current Bullrun as we are not over yet, might be next month or in the next quarter, we still don't know.
I don't lose hopes either. What we gonna do now is to fill our bag if we still have the money to invest. The current position is an opportunity for us, I believe that TRON will do the rally someday just like the other altcoins.

Good news for our oldies but goodies.

Reavis, Abundo, Pascual; keeps spot open for Pingris, rookies

I hope they can influence Mark Pingris to still play with the team, it's an opportunity given since spot is still open for him, meaning the team still value him and needs him for their mission to win.
3647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 20, 2021, 12:24:41 PM
If you missed the Anthony Edwards dunk tonight, do yourself a favor and look up the clip. They’re calling it the dunk if the year and while I think that might be a bit of a stretch, dude jumped really high and definitely got himself a new poster.
Holy crap!
That was one hell of a jump.
Did he just look at the surface of the rim before slamming it down?  Grin
It's like he had himself equipped with a jetpack.  Cheesy
C'mon Baynes at least help poor Watanabe to get up quickly from bad posterization.

Thanks for the reminder.  Wink
I was watching Clippers vs Jazz.

Don't know him, I think he is not popular but upon seeing his dunk highlights, I'm so amaze by what he did so far.

Here's the highlights I watched.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jpxdQ0cWYg

Maybe you are not watching his game, and I understand as usually a typical sports fan would mostly know players from a popular team like the Mavericks, Lakers, Bucks, Clippers, and GSW.

I hope he can joined the all star dunk contest.
That's for sure as fans love to see him.
3648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: February 19, 2021, 10:45:51 PM

* If I many ask what is the major reason while some countries ruling class ban bitcoin transaction?
* What is the negative effects using crypto as currency?
* what harm does bitcoin contributes a country that can lead to ban?

Unfortunately, in the eyes of the government crypto is a threat to their financial capabilities because they can get taxes from its holders. They claim that it increases fraud and scams but they never think that there are more fraud and scams happening using paper money.
And just like @mk4 said, it is all about of lose control. They can't ride over crypto and they can't take benefit from it. They'll think banning is the best idea but they are totally wrong and so unfair.

Nets 109 vs 98 Lakers - February 18
It was a good surprise for me since Nets won the game but I can not see this team a serious candidate for the NBA ring right now. I agree that they need Anthony Davids becasue Gasol is just like a statue can't even defend nobody. We miss a good center on the team and it looks like A.Davis is going to be out for still some weeks. Lebron James was so alone...
We also have to highlight that Nets didn't have available Kevin Durant so we could say that they had compensated both teams.

I hate to see this but Gasol does not fit with the Lakers.

His stats have dropped a lot, I hate to see a former champ not doing well in a championship team.
Look at his stats this season and compared it in the previous season.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/gasolma01.html

He had a bad season when Leonard left the Toronto Raptors, even bad this season.
As per report attached; he only average 4.3 PTS and 4.2 rebounds, that's not good to see knowing how good he was during his time with the Memphis
3650  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 19, 2021, 12:07:42 PM
makes another conspiracy , so this wasnt the first time he make a conspiracy . how many times he did it and to what boxers but why did they still allow this boxer to play after he accuse his oponents when he loose .

i agree that he needs to be check because this condition can get worst in the future and he can do more damage  not just verbal but physical , inside and outside of the ring .

It doesn't matter how many times he makes his own conspiracy theory, as long as it's not proven, no one will believe in him. The more he talks non sense, the more people will disrespect him, I guess he is already out of his mind and out of the sports with just one loss he can't accept.

Someone told me not long ago: Bitcoin is a dangerous game. It is even possible for some people or groups to take over the blockchain through a majority and destroy the entire mechanism. People don't know they are playing these games.
It is a dangerous game for those who are not prepared but for those who have knowledge about this, that gonna be an easy game for them. We can figure out how difficult it was at the start but as we are enjoying it, not emotionally affected by FUDS or anything that could ruin our plan, everything is fine.

But, this form of investment isn't for weak hands and emotional investors. Yeah, they could not handle the stress if they hear negative and bad news. Bonds and the stock market will be suited for them, they are profitable and many people make use of this for a living.

Another rumor is, after that Abueva trade, Matthew Wright now asking for a trade.

What could potentially happen to the Phoenix then? They'll be a team like the Blackwater and  DYIP where are always at the bottom. If that rumor is true then I guess Abueva was blessed he was traded to a team with the capability to pay a good salary for their players.

Looks like the rumor is true, another Phoenix player has not yet signed by the team, and we know this player can contribute to the team.

Brian Heruela plays waiting game as he has yet to be signed by Phoenix
3653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 18, 2021, 11:40:15 AM
Nice one, we are on the same side, I'm not convincing anyone to bet on Jazz as I don't get anything from that, but Jazz has been playing so well, they were in a long win streak before, loss one game and then starts a good run, that's how good they are as a team, can't bet against a streaking team at this moment especially against the Jazz which everyone is contributing.
And, we are right.  Wink
They cannot stop Gobert. 23 points and 20 rebounds, one heck of a game for him.
When it comes to defense, Utah is in hierarchy than the Clippers.

Another game which was great was GSW vs Miami Heat. From a 13 point lead by the Heat gently being taken away by the Warriors that ended in an overtime. Curry just suddenly wore his hot hands again in OT after a bad 2nd half giving the GSW a win.

The old Steph Curry, putting the dagger 3 in the last 15 seconds. Bazemore though is the spark, coming with a big 26 points to help the team and so is Wiggins and Oubre Jr.

Gobert has been so dominant in the last couple of days together with Clarkson. These two are the main reason why Utah Jazz is on a winning streak. And with Anthony Davis not playing, I think they can beat Lakers in their next game.

I also believe they'll win, I think even with Davis Jazz also have a big chance of winning as they are playing extremely well, based on my observation, in their last few games, they have been winning in double digit, that means they are consistently dominating their opponents.
3654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 17, 2021, 11:09:23 PM
It is greediness that doesn't let us take winnings and leave the market with profit. Emotional trading has such bad consequences, we have to control it before it causes the worst results for our trading career. Trading is a serious and tough profession, not all individuals manage risks same for min loss-max reward.
They usually had bad ends. We can see how these greedy people never succeed because they overlook the chance of making money in a few inclines, they preferred to sell at a high price which sometimes doesn't work. I can tell that because it happens to me in the past and from that, I learn not to ignore every opportunity.
because if we only know that price will surely go high in the coming days, for sure people will never sell but instead, to keep waiting for that moment, unfortunately, we don't have kind of market. We are sure to experience price changes all the time.
3655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get discouraged! on: February 17, 2021, 10:42:59 PM
That's a fact about accumulation. People still think that it's too late for them but weren't we thinking the same we just got in and bitcoin was a double digit to three digit value per coin? no, it's not too late for everybody and even to those that are starting to be interested on it.
You don't have to own a whole bitcoin upon accumulation but that should be the goal, if possible.
I agree to say it was not late but we already just missed the opportunity and those times we can never get it back. It is still a loss to our ends especially when are already at that time but we never think about it, ignore Bitcoin because we never see its potential until the time it rises up, reaching $40k and that just appears in our mind asking why I didn't invest this before.
Now, even we are thinking that it reaches $100k, have a chance to double our money if we invest today but if we think have many times it folds when we start accumulating 5 or 10 years ago, I can't really imagine it.

Hi guys, can we also talk about the Portland Trail Blazers? have we seen how good they are even without CJ?

As I checked the standings https://www.nba.com/standings, I'm surprised that they are already in the number 4 spot, and thanks to the brilliance of the underrated Damian Lillard, the Dame Time. Anyone here expect they'll boost their standing this way?
3657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 17, 2021, 08:47:04 AM
I may be the first one to bring this news here  Wink.

I don't see this coming as i think that Calvin Abueva have already found a home in Phoenix but i'm wrong.

Seems to me that Magnolia is dead serious on capturing a All-Filipino title very soon.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/calvin-abueva-traded-by-phoenix-to-magnolia-for-banchero-draft-picks-a793-20210217?ref=home_featured_big

I don't get why Phoenix traded him, they just threw away a gem, I don't know maybe he still has the attitude?

I guess this is the time that I believe Magnolia will become a championship contender, they are now a better as a defensive team, honestly, I think they are now better than the SMB teams.

WHAT!?Huh??

This news is really surprising, we didn't see it coming, the player that was rumored to be traded is Manuel but what the hell happened?
Banchero was struggling with Magnolia so it's understandable that the team wants to trade him, but Calvin just give the best of him during the bubble and he was even one of the candidate for MVP iirc.
3658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: February 16, 2021, 02:27:44 PM
It's always in investors best interest to understand what they are investing their hard earned cash on, do not invest in something you don't understand because think about it, how is any of this make any sense?
There is no interest in this kind of coin. And obviously, there is no sense of having HEX or any project that is similar to this that they don't have a concrete goal to achieve. It is a dying investment if put our money into them.
it could be hard to believe that some people are buying HEX, I don't know what is there mind. But I hope they will realize it earlier as they still have time to divert their money to other altcoins which potentially can give them a return.
3659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not reach $50,000 on: February 15, 2021, 11:37:02 AM
Do you have a crystal ball mate?

Damn, looks like you are right at some time, but it will not last long, bitcoin will surge again and will easily break that $50k.
Maybe you should make a poll to see how many people believe that bitcoin will hit $50k or not, how about that?
3660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 15, 2021, 11:09:30 AM
It definitely will make you better, if you just bet on the team without the knowledge that their players are bad then it means you are going to lose a lot of money. When it comes to sports, you just need to learn the basics, overanalyzing the game will be detrimental in your decision making process. Coaches play some part too, if they are famous or not is a big deal, they can strategize into doing a comeback.

I agree with you that over analysing could be harmful for our bets. There are so many different information out there that it seems impossible to take everything into consideration. Especially if you follow all the top teams out there. A more modest approach is probably better, because in the end its a game played by humans. Everybody can have a bad day and match can go against you, even though your analysis was writing.

I will share a technique, when you are betting in sports although you know all the teams or fighters that are playing, just limit the number of bets you'll make, the lesser the better as you can carefully analyze the game and that you can make a very good decision.
